CK IN2U for Him

How does Polo Red get so much love, and this gets so much hate?! Advertising, ladies and gentlemen, that's how. Image. That's all! This is the same type of smell as Polo Red, fruity on top, woody underneath, but with lemon instead of the kool-aid-esque cranberry top notes, which I didn't care for. In my opinion, this is still a very "red" scent and there's a very "berry" scent to it, from the combination of lemon and cacao. It's also a tad less sweet than Polo Red, but at least it doesn't start out smelling like a car air freshener. This scent is also similar to a lighter version of Diesel Only The Brave's dry down, if you can pick up the similarities between that and Polo Red, again, with lemon that fades deeper into the tomato leaf within 30 minute of applying. For my money, I'm sticking with CK IN2U, as it's only $20 for a 5 oz bottle. I just bought a new 3.4 oz bottle for $12.99 on eBay. For me, it lasts longer and definitely projects better than Polo Red. I get 4-6 hours with this scent and 6-8 hours if I moisturize first, compared to a consistent 3 1/2 hours from Polo Red Intense, even though it's an EDP. I've gone through at least 3 bottles of IN2U since 2007 and I get just as many compliments on this one as I did while sampling Polo Red Intense. The only improvement I'd make to this scent is to maybe add a touch of strawberry. That would make this scent perfect!

CK IN2U may be a synthetic, "dull" perfume, but in no way is it bad...not at all! I got a 5 oz. bottle of this edt for just $27, and this is one that I've been using regularly, especially on the hotter days; it makes me feel very well! Although intended for the younger crowd, I think a 42-year old dude such as myself can rock it seamlessly. CK IN2U opens with a bitter note of tomato leaf that lives throughout the evolution of the perfume. Afterward, the cocoa-lemon-vetiver combo starts to appear, providing the juice with an amazing, sparkling vibe, which is strenghtened by the woody accord. The musk adds to the fragrance masculinity. When it comes to performance, CK IN2U offers good longevity (6-8 hours), as well as good projection and sillage--it's hard to believe that people have issues with its aromatic attributes because, in my case, it outperforms other perfumes I like such as Visit by Azzaro. I love the lemony, chocolatey, powdery effect it leaves on my skin and clothes, on which it sits for days...go figure! I have nothing else to add except that this little CK boy doesn't disappoint. Of course, no people's perceptions and opinions are the same, so I suggest trying first, and then you'll come to your own conclusions. I honestly love this on me. I feel like they missed a trick only marketing it for men. It has this warm, musky, slightly masc quality and I can put it on literally in the evening before sleep and still smell it faintly on my sheets in the morning, which I personally love. Base notes are kind of sweet on me. I don't know why people on here hate it so much, but I noticed most of the negative reviews are from men and most women here seem to like it. I think CK just mis-marketed here. I don't personally want to walk into a room and leave a cloud of an incredibly strong, floral, saccharine, overly feminine fragrance, so this is ideal for me. I like that it's unassuming and a bit different. Every time I wear it I get compliments. It feels more like a dark feminine fragrance to me more than an outright masculine one, and I can imagine women would love this if only the bottle didn't look the way it does (which is my one qualm, it's an awkward shape and feels huge for me to hold.)

I love this fragrance, it's very fresh, creamy, relaxing and unique (could be unisex), you wont find anything like this. It's not sexy, but more like clean and fresh, I got compliments like "how good you smell, is that a cologne?". The opening is citrusy fresh, with a little green note of tomato leaf; the drydown of cacao, musk and cedar is creamy delicious. 8/10. The longevity and silage are not good 4/10, that is the cons, but I found a trick, if you apply moisturizing cream (odorless would be the best) before the cologne, it will last double. And remember it's a cheapie so don't worry overspraying and/or reapplying 5/6 hours later. Also, is a good layering perfume, I tried it with Burberry Touch and Prada L'Homme L'Eau, the result is amazing.

Great scent! It smells citrusy at first with a warm cacao dry-down and a powdery feeling. It is clean, fresh but also sexy and cuddly, almost gourmand, with the cacao note stealing the spotlight after a few hours. The longevity is good with a good evolution from citrus to cacao over time. The projection isn't that good however and becomes a skin scent after a few hours. But that skin scent can last for a very long time and I can always still smell it on my skin the next day! Good value to boot. It is a great perfume to wear all year round, for almost every occasion. As it is fresh it is wearable on hot summer days, but with its cacao undertones I find myself wearing it on cold winter days too. Love it! 9/10.

This was a pleasant surprise. I'd never really heard anything about this fragrance. I only bought it because I'm a sucker for "his and her scents" (anytime I can buy myself and my wife matching bottles). The opening to this is fantastic. The lemon/tomato leaf combination really gives it a unique smell. Quickly after that it becomes powdery, but still with that great tomato leaf touch. The powdery scent does make it lean a bit feminine in my opinion, but that's one of the things that makes it stand out in my collection. Now I truly believe any guy can wear this comfortably. It's not too feminine. But after awhile (an hour maybe) it does sit closer to the skin, but doesn't disappear for quite some time.

I bought this as a blind buy as it was very cheap to take on holiday. I LOVE IT. it is very green but still strong,as I find some green smelling fragrances can be abit incipid.I get a basil freshness followed by cut grass and sea smells.the dry down reminds me of all these smells but mixed with tobacco which just makes it a pleasure to wear.there is also a sweetness to it.I felt ckin2u really came into its own at night when out having drinks. It is the kind of scent you can smell the morning after on your clothes and bed sheets.I have just picked up a whopping 150ml for £23 :-)

Very pleasant smelling but not synthetic as a few below claim. Many use that term having no idea what that they smell and the word fills the gap in there knowledge. This is not expensive and I paid £18/$26 for a 150ml bottle and that should tell you how average this is. Longevity & Silage are 5hrs and Arms length respectively, but that not taking away how nice smelling this fragrance is. 6 out of 10 is a fair judgement on the overall performance! Besides, it's one you should have in your CK collection👍

I picked this up online very cheap, and I've enjoyed it. The packaging and presentation is unique, and the scent isn't talked about in the house of CK; less people will have this than the classic "one" or "shox". In2u is a solid summer fragrance, fresh and floral, but isn't the strongest - projection is out of the window after about half an hour, but if you use enough (it is very cheap, so not a tragedy) you can get sweet whiffs throughout the day.

Yummy. Soft, powdery, well blended. Could be unisex. It’s not loud or in your face offensive. It’s a cuddly kind of scent. It’s different and comforting. I really like it. It’s nothing like it’s feminine counterpart. She is very citrus forward, woody with a creamy dreamy dry down. This one is powdery. Smells absolutely nothing like, Tommy, Euphoria or Cool Water as voted above!!! I think people’s noses are broken and need an ENT!! .

There is something addicting in ck in2u, no matter how many perfumes I try I always get back to this one, definitely there is a lot of fragrances out there that's better in terms of quality, but the scent of this one is exceptional, I don't care about longevity or projection, I just can't stop sniffing my self when I wear it :), heavenly scent makes me feel happy and calm, that's all I can say about it.

Na época usava apenas em ocasiões especiais e festas, agora que entendo um pouco de perfumaria, sei que não é um grande perfume, mas me trás muita nostalgia, me lembra de tempos mais simples. Já tive 2 frascos e pretendo comprar novamente, quero manter essas memórias perto de mim.

A pretty darn good fragrance. Women like it a lot. yes, it doesn't last all day, but that is very typical for designers. 3-4 hours. 2-3 hours with projection. I tend to wear it in the evenings. it's also pretty good for the high heat. would totally recommend. 8.5/10 Edit... 7/22: Lasted about 7 with 5 hours of projection hours today. Got lots of Compliments!!

This is such a nice and inoffensive fragrance. You can feel like powdery wood in it, which feels very fresh and soft, and it's mostly a warm weather scent; somebody said it smells like Coca-Cola, but that's a little overreacted! Luckily I didnt read the reviews before I bought it, because I liked it and was surprised to later read the many negative reviews. I own over 200+ fragrance and this is a straight forward scent that I quite enjoy while relaxing. Fresh beginning, linear but just an easy happy scent. There is a time and occasion for this simple but pleasant fragrance.

I really appreciated this fragrance. Yeah we all know it’s not mind blowing or totally new but it’s very nice. For me I mainly enjoy this frag because it carry’s a few of my favorite frag notes. Which is the lemon opening mixed with cedar and musk drydown. I’m a sucker for those types! Easygoing and beautiful smelling! 7.5/10

Fantastically marketed for teens, good scent moderate Sillage and longevity. More of a spring/fall scent in my opinion. Interesting smell though. Reminds me of the feeling when you like somebody but they don’t like you back. I go off it from time to time but there’s something about it that makes you want to keep using ...

Nothing to dislike about it. Light, fresh, summery...and of course affordable. Bought 50ml on speacial at Debenhams for a whopping £14!!:) The longevity is a bit of an issue, does not last on my skin. Youthful scent! I would give it a 7 out of 10

I loved this. Before I started researching and getting back into fragrances, this was the only bottle I had and I really liked it. It's fresh, citrusy and light. Perfect for everyday wear. I loved it and I wish I had used it more!

Im spraying it everyday, after every shower. I just love it. Such a cozy and relaxing fragrance. I’m always getting the 150ml bottle as I go through bottles and bottles of it. 10/10 for me, it really helps me relax.

Perfectly inoffensive and smells how it sounds little sweet little sour and bitter with a woody base great for the school days. Only downside is that its a little synthetic

CK IN2U is one of my favorites; I use up a bottle every year. It's a pleasant, distinctive, and long-lasting fragrance, with the cocoa note being simply genius.

I love it, first bought it in 207, now got 150ml... Lovely it lasts on me all day..

Picture Walking on The Beach, its a Warm, sunny day,and there's a light breeze carrying the smell of the Ocean. Not Far along the Coast there grows some Lemon trees, amongst them grows some pine trees, and there's a qaint little coffee shop that's built there that gently wafts its lingering aroma. Picture smelling all of this and you'd get a picture of what CKin2U Men smells like. Its a mix of the Salty sea air, coffee and cocoa,lemon and a pine fresh breeze. Fresh, youthful, Casual and Care free. CKin2U Men is a perfect fragrance to wear during those hot summer days when you're simply out with your friends. Its a Bit of the usual Generic summer frag mix (lemon,musk etc) but the cocoa Pod and tomato leaf make an absurd difference, This actually smells like the sea. Its Salty, sweet, Musky, citrusy and Fresh. Not usually what I'd go for, I however have used it on Hot days and it blends well into my skin in our Tropical climate, and it smells Good enough to become part of my Summer Fragrance Rotations. Summer by the sea, pretty aptly sums up this fragrance for me. Its has okay projection- for 3 hours And Longevity is 6-7 hours (all CK fragrances seem to go well with my chemistry I guess, yay lucky me haha). In all a fun, Youthful, Carefree summer frag, and that's pretty much it. Don't use it expecting it to be a Panty dropper, club filling, Suave and manly fragrance, its made for summer, meant for summer and should be used only for summer, so stop complaining it doesn't meet expectations on it being amazing in the club scene, or not being sophisticated enough. CKin2U men was not made to be a perfume esteemed for its glitz and macho punch, nor is it made for nights sweating it out in the club, The bottle design all the way to the ads scream Summer, so shock of all shocks the juice inside will definitely smell Like The sea,summer and just like the season its Fun, frivolous and Care free. Nothing Groundbreaking or jaw dropping but its worth a try, especially seeing as that it also seems to be well complimented by friends. 7 out of 10 Edit- this cologne after a few months starts to lose its charm and you're left wondering why you even bothered to buy a second bottle. So for future reference fragranticans, buy it once but let it go like a short summer romance.

I've been gifted this eau de toilette by my father many years ago. For the longest time I disliked it and I couldn't explain why, so with time, I forgot about it. Recently I decided to shrink my fragrance collection into a capsule collection so I made it my goal to use up ALL of my fragrances. Calvin Klein IN2U for him was a fragrance I wasn't so "IN2" at first, and I realize now that it was all because of the aquatic blue opening! Once it warms up it changes from the generic fresh scent to this woody, sweet spice scent, which I absolutely don't mind at all. Somehow it reminds me of the Bleu de Chanel eau de parfum. I guess because of the combination of the sweet cacao, vetiver, musk and woody cedar note. I have to say that the lasting power is rather weak, after about two to three hours it sadly disappears which is one of the main reasons I won't purchase this fragrance again. I'd like to add that the bottle itself has a bit of an odd design which is another reason that turns me off. Overall, the fragrance isn't bad nor great, it gets a decent 7/10 from me.

I just picked this up from Marshall’s for $19.99 and I was curious about what this was about. The notes seemed a little odd but this is Calvin Klein. CK has been a major leader in the 80’s when it comes down to fragrances. So I opened this up and applied this immediately so I can get a taste of what I’m in store for... This is a summery day scent. Immediately a lemon citrus scent fills the air. It’s a pleasant lemon almost like a nice lemonade. The cocoa scent is a background player. The tomato leaf is non existent to my nose but it tends to give a watery type of note and isn’t a major player in fragrances. The vetiver, cedar, and the musk are what helps the lemon pop and make it the star in this. Who ever is writing bad reviews for this fragrance must be immature in the sense of the fragrance world. This is nice playful scent. Is it a game changer? No. This has a place for when you’re visiting friends or in-laws and you’re not looking to offend any one. This will also be a great office scent. Give this a try it’s not as bad as many reviewers are stating.

This was a gift, but you'll usually find the 100ml version for around $15-20. The top notes are very citric, and you get more of that tomato leaf as they dry down a little. After a minute or so on skin, you'll start noticing the cacao, which is very faint but does change the scent a lot. It is surprisingly smooth and very fresh. It's definitely mass-appealing and won't choke anyone, which brings me to my next points, projection and longevity. It'll depend on the person, but for me this usually lasts 3-4 hours on my skin. You'll probably find yourself having to respray. It also doesn't leave a strong trail nor projects well, I find it to be too intimate as it sits pretty close to the skin. As for the bottle design, it's very nice; simple yet unique. The plastic housing and the atomizer will remind you of what it's worth though. The bottom's design is interesting, it makes the bottle a lot more unstable but also adds a lot to the design. Overall this is a good low-budget perfume for warm weather, but I doubt I'd rebuy this once it runs out. Pleased, 7.5/10

I honestly don’t understand all the negativity around CK IN2U. I picked this up on a whim, expecting something basic, but it really surprised me. For me, this scent walks a unique line — warm and spicy in the winter, but somehow feels cool, crisp, and clean in the summer. It adapts beautifully to the seasons, which I can’t say about a lot of designer fragrances at this price point. There’s a nice opening that’s fresh and a little fizzy, almost like citrus and gin on ice, but it settles into something cozy and lightly spicy on my skin — perfect for chill evenings or layering under a hoodie in the cold. On hot days, it feels almost like a clean white tee: effortless and refreshing. Projection and longevity are moderate, but for the price, I have zero complaints. This might not be the most complex scent out there, but it nails the casual everyday category. If you’re sleeping on it because of the reviews, don’t — it’s way better than the hate it gets.

I’m over 30, and maybe a shame, but I like IN2U... yes, this is a fragrance for teenagers, but smells so good. Somebody mentioned this stuff smells like Versace Blue Jeans, and he is right, very very similar, but I found this one is a bit lighter version. The opening with the lemon and the green/bitterish tomato leaf is working and good. In the mid I get a light, pure cocoa note, nothing special, really smells like something smooth chocolate, but I like it and this note is long lasting too. 3-3.5 hours later the sweet aroma fades away, and stay only a solid cedar-musky base. Nothing special, a very simple stuff, but sometimes less is more. - spring/summer daytime scent - sillage is average, longevity is around 6 hours - safe blind buy Scent (open, top-mid): 8.5/10 (x2) Scent (drydown, base): 7.5/10 (x2) Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 6/10 Uniqueness: 6.5/10 Versatility: 6/10 Total: 6.938/10

I've just picked this one up for no more than 21,5 $ us for a 150 ml, it didn't seem I could pass this opportunity price-wise, also I thought it was nice and fresh but not in that typical "blue" fashion, which is good, for a change at least. But when I read about cacao, I was like what? I don't perceive that note what so ever, maybe I'll get it later on, idk. All in all, I'm having a hard time picking any note at all here, and I like it this way, I feel like a part of magic is lost when you figure it all out. It seems to last, too, it's been 3 hours, washed my hands and I still can smell it on my hand alright. Overall, I can't say I'm loving it, but I'm liking it quite a bit Update: performance is joke on me, 30 min and I can't even get a slight anymore.. a little better on clothes. No cacao for me still, just green freshness for half an hour and then close to nothing :/

Una fragancia intensa con notas de limón bastante pronunciadas y un sutil matiz amargo. Me parece perfecta para ocasiones formales; es un perfume para hombres que buscan una sensación de seriedad y masculinidad. Tiene una duración excelente, e incluso mi familia sabia cuando lleguaba solo por su maravilloso aroma: una mezcla de limón intenso con un aroma más juvenil, creando una combinación perfecta. Realmente creo que es perfecto para principiantes. Huele de maravilla tanto en climas templados como fríos; pude olerlo y sentirlo a mi alrededor casi todo el día. El único problema es que ya no me gusta este tipo de perfume, pero sin duda es bueno y dura muchísimo en todos los sentidos; nadie puede negarlo (todo en mi experiencia pero claro todos tienen una opinion distinta) 9/10

Top is VERY synthetic (would not spray close to the face, you could possibly burn your nose hairs off from the chemicals)...You can tell the Middle is trying to get to the bottom quickly...then finally reach the bottom which is somewhat pleasant. However, it smells like too many notes are trying to fight for your attention at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I think it smells "ok", just really hard to pick out A note that sticks out more than the rest. It is a youthful synthetic scent that would probably fly with someone content enough to smell like the teen crowd. Calvin Klein has done better, but he has also done worse. I would say it's worth sampling if you’re low on cash and want a modern/youthful scent. 3 out of 5

At first blast, citrus and cacao. Very fresh and spicy yet vaguely familiar. After the citruses calmed down, the spices and the woods become prominent. The cacao adds a very dusty and earthy vibe to it and not a chocolatey aspect. Very versatile fragrance. Can be worn during daytime coz it's fresh and nighttime since it's also quite spicy, sweet and woody. Officewear is also ok. This reminds me of cosmetics and makeup and the familiar scent that it reminds me of is CK's Euphoria for women. Which my wife had and also reminds me of makeup. Remove the citrus topnotes and you have Euphoria for women. Cool bottle and if the price is cheap will buy again.

My first fragrance purchase on my recent foray into this hobby, picking it out at the discount store over all the other options. As a medical clinician, this is an excellent fragrance to wear to the hospital. It comes off fresh, mild on my skin (non-dry/oily/sweaty) with one spray to the chest and one to the abdomen. No one is going to be bothered by this, and it gives a bit more oomph in smelling clean by the end of the day. Very utilitarian, which is perfect for me for an all-round work scent. The more expensive version of this would be Coach for men, which is what I alternate with this for hospital shifts.

Most ppl are giving CK IN2U loads of flak. But, I have had only good experience with it. Yes, it might be cheap and might smell synthetic for some. Some might feel it to be too "fresh" and some too "weak". I even have a mate who claims it's on par with wonder-baum. I find it refreshing and cool, and this is the only fragrance that got me complimented. My top 5 go-to fragrances are Terre D'Hermès, Dior Homme Intense, Paco Rabanne 1 Million, Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'Homme, and Armani Stronger With You. I might need to increase the list to 6.... PS: I still wear it, and I'm in my 40s..

Quite fresh, but to me not the typical aquatic-kind. Has some spiciness and depth to it. Possibly vetiver. But it really is weak in longevity and soft in sillage. If only that was improved...as I prefer this CK frag to CK's Chemical Warfare* called Obsession. Recommended for non-aggresive daily use. In the office, sure. Unless you're the ballsy power management-type; then it's too weak. Once my bottle is depleted (it was a gift), I won't get it anymore. I prefer far stronger and longer lasting stuff. *-yes I referenced a Slayer song in a fragrance review, deal with it! ;-)

Had this for a while and sort of forgot about it, but wearing this today on a rainy day. Unique with Tomato leaf and Cacao. Daring for CK. They usually play it safe with the light citrus frags. Heck, they usually play it safe with all of their offerings. Opens with a pretty good lemon, it hangs around for the duration. From there it moves to tomato leaf which is vegetal and cocoa. It sounds like it would be disgusting, but it works. Performance is meh, but for the price point, you can go nuts with the sprays and get projection and longevity. Interesting fragrance 6/10

I don't get all of the bashing that this bottle gets. Ok it's linear, Ok the longevity is sub par but this is an anassuming cheap freshie. What did you expect it to be? Also people who say it feels synthetic or generic are wrong in my opinion. Having smelled maybe a few hundred frangances I can say this is all but generic. The fragrance is simple, but very well composed and there is some extent of uniqueness to it. Maybe it's the tomato leaf or the composition itself but it definitely works for me.

I didn't know what to expact in IN2U. At first when i got this, 2 years ago, the fragrance did not suprise me. Actually the fragrance made me drop off. But after 6 months, when it turned summer, i started to like it. It's a perfect mash-up of all the notes together. The tomato leaf just gives it a nice punch. The lemon freshes it up. And the cocoa and musk makes IN2U softer and warmer. Scent: 7,5/10 Longevity: +- 6 hours Sillage: moderate. Occasion: every day use Season: spring and summer

It is a nice scent, easy to wear, Light , Fresh and Clean. I don't care about the negative comments and I trust my nose, It smells so good and very pleasant with reasonable price. It opens up with like fresh citrusy, slightly spicy, green and Cacao notes in the background then dry down is musky woody. The Cacao note is dominant in this perfume. This is perfect for the spring and summer. I really enjoy it and I like CK IN2U for Him by Calvin Klein. Longevity is good. Rating : 8 / 10

smells like lemonade to me, not bad, like many people have said doesn't last too long. nice and fresh, I'm sure my 100ml bottle will last along time, as i don't see myself wearing it out very much, especially as there is many other citrusy type scents to wear out which will last a lot longer. good to wear straight from the shower if your having a night in. not so much a scent for going out in.

For me this one opens up super fresh like a 7up/ sprite bottle then dies down quickly into a coffee+cocacola cocktail. Worth a try and the bottle is nice. But, not my cup of tea. I will stick with my CK All, thank you. PS: Actually, given the same discount price for Nautica and CK In2U, I would actually choose this one for its uniqueness (or quirk). Tata for now, fraghead comrades.

A classic smell, I get plenty of compliments on it whenever I wear it, pretty basic, reminds me of a fancy aftershave or a barbershop smell. Its relatively inexpensive, good workhorse for daily use where you dont want to put thought into how you want to smell, pleasing to virtually everyone. Performance could be better. Good fragrance to get started with.

This is one of my favourite colognes. I disagree with others saying that it's not long-lasting, it lasts hours, for me. This, in my opinion, is unisex, though it leans more masculine. I find it an androgynous scent. I really like it. I don't think it is a safe buy and neither is it inoffensive. It has a great sillage and not very light. A summer scent.

easy daily scent, longevity is hard to remember, i think around the 6 hour range, could be worn in winter, but prob indoor, and spring and summer too, i would say basic office scent, or just pick up gym scent, not signature scent worthy, but your paying for what you get, as a starter cologne, and easy daily wear, yea i recommened

Nice scent. Not great but the kind of smells you might not like at the first sniff but you start liking it after a couple of times wearing it. Quite versatile but best suited for spring/cooler summer days. Note that it is harsh at the beginning but the dry down is nice. Performance is just as listed above. Average. Overall: 7/10
