CK One Gold

Just got it and first impressions are promising. I think the fact that it's very soft, but not traditionally feminine is a great way to go with unisex perfumes. Openning is great — very easy scent that just feels nice. This is where guys might say it's feminine smell, but girls might be like — nothing special (because it's not powerful feminine). I think some people metioned it as a sleep scent — great comparison as anything that smells nice is democratic and isn't categorised as feminine or masculine. Just a nice smell that makes you feel relaxed. I do think that the masculine woodsy notes miss the target. I mean in it's dry down it starts to get quite confusing and without a unique charater. Shower gel skin scent at the end. Also, it doesn't have strong performance! Scent is great! For those whol like CK All and that type of easy going scents. Because of the strong openning I give it Thumbs up!

I’ve been owning this perfume for about 8 months now and never thought about checking the notes or the reviews. I’m 60% through the 150 ml bottle that I have and I’m absolutely satisfied. To me this smells like a an aquatic woody white floral perfume mainly. I think it’s perfect for an office/uni setting since it’s not a very strong and professional perfume. The aqua and woody notes make it smell a bit masculine which I personally do not mind as a woman. However, the sweet and floral notes might not be the best for men since they are as prominent as the other notes. I was really surprised when I read that people hated this perfume since I’ve been considering it an almost perfect perfume for a while now. The only complaint is that it’s not long lasting at all.

I'm on my sixth bottle now. 2 x 200ml and 4 x 100ml. On first try I thought 'Womanity light' but it soon became apparent this was a fleeting comparison. If you sniff and close your eyes within the first few minutes you get an echo of Womanity, but more Womanity Eau Pour Elle, which is lighter. Regarding longevity I believe asnominia is a possible reason because after weeks of intensive testing I have found that it is actually still there, it is just close to the skin. I would imagine in hotter days it would reappear. Love this stuff and it's not even released in the UK! Also, for the one spritzers and spraying the air and walking thought it, how the hell are you going to smell anything other that your fabric conditioner!. Spray them, enjoy them!

I love this fragrance. The blend of florals and fruits carried by the warm wood is comforting. I imagine a wooden crate filled with fresh fruit and flowers, warmed by sunshine, releasing their scent into a summer morning breeze. This is fragrance gets too much flak for being "weak". It's intimate, it's meant to be discovered, not announced. Gentle fragrances are respectful and elegant, they don't force themselves upon the entire room. It's a little treat for anyone with the privilege of getting close to you, making it all that more intoxicating. Both men and women have loved this on me, I have loved it on other people. This is an anywhere anytime fragrance for me.

I really really love this scent in its cleanliness and sweetness, but it doesn't last at all. I've added it twice today since first spraying in the morning, and it's already gone. [Edit] I have to add that this is the most perfect scent ever. It's the only one I don't get bored of, and I get instantly happy everytime I smell this. I don't get anything unisex or androgynous about this, to me this is a clean, expensive-smelling fruity grown-up feminine goldness. I don't mind the short longevity anymore, it's so affordable that I keep a small bottle with me in case I need a pick-me-up.

that opening is a million dollar opening. perhaps one of the best openings in any fragrance. the dry down is similar to womanity by Mugler with that sweet dusty fig. its a tad bit strong so 2 sprays get me a headache. the florals perhaps are bit too feminine in this. so this will work with women beautifully and some guys who love unisex fragrances. get it for the bottle design. its amazing 8/10

this scent was my go-to during my college years -- i just repurchased as a bit of a novelty item & nostalgia device, on the fragrance on my skin immediately brings me back. the bergamot and neroli are really notable here to me, and while yes, the sillage and longevity is next to nothing, it's equally comfortable, and would be perfect for any occasion.

A bright and balanced bohemian/witchy fragrance. Perfect for warm and hot spring and summer days. This has been one I’ve reached for everyday wear to put me in a good mood. Never need more then 3-4 sprays. I loved ck one growing up so thought I’d give this a go. Blindly purchased the 6oz bottle for $20. So glad I did!

It is unisex - I like it on my husband but he says that it is more for woman 😅😃 It is nice woody scent, good for autumn and winter, too 😉 The beginning is herbal from sage. It reminds me something from my childhood - I had a Barbie, She smelt like this - so soft and fragile 👼

I love CK One Gold! The design of the bottle and the fragrance are really fantastic. Sometimes I will wear one fragrance on my person and spray CK One Gold on my jacket or sweater. Other times I wear the fragrance to bed. It’s sweet and delicious.

Love this perfume. Performance is not satisfying. Really fresh and clean. ThIs is easily one of my fav. Im the kind of person who gets tired of a scent fast, but this one I can't get enough of. I'm considering to buy a big bottle.

CK One Gold is SUPER GOOD. Fruity, floral and dirty - a basket full of figs and blossom petals. Doesn't allow itself to dominate the room and creates a perfect bubble people step into.

Very similar to CK Platinum with a chocolate note. Wonderful clean smell but poor performance. For $20 a bottle you can afford to go heavy tho.

This but citrus that actually last will be the best frag ever. Love opening and dry down but it has weak projecting and Longivity what a shame

gonna blind buy this one...i know ck these days are improving with time.....they have now great nose behind their releases :)

I really love the smell its so nice and unisex but the longivity is VERY POOR, i can get 1 hour tops

Gorgeous light fig scent in a beautiful bottle. It was a blind buy and I love it for what it is.

My anticipation for CK One Gold was finally anointed two weeks ago. I have never craved a new release so much as CK One Gold - fig fruit is one of my favorite notes. Not only that, but CK fragrances are very affordable. I quickly purchased a 200ml/6.7oz for $40 when it was available. CK One Gold opens with a very familiar, safe opening of iced citrus and fresh pepper/spice. Before you know it, the candied fig note joins the opening notes to create a "Fruity Pebbles" cereal accord... you read that correctly, Fruity Pebbles. The citrus creates the tart and tangy smell while the fig creates the sweet berry smell. This opening lasts quite some time (20-30 minutes). The Fruity Pebbles accord eventually gives way to a more sweet, soft citrus (neroli) and, before you know it, the basenotes come through and we are left with a sweet, creamy "woods" accord with an almost vanillic tinge. As far as this being unisex, this is slanted more towards the feminine standards of modern perfumery. If you are a man who is comfortable with wearing Le Male, PR 1 Million, Polo Red, Lolita Lempicka Au Masclin, Givenchy Pi, Rochas Man, and the likes, then you can easily wear CK One Gold. With all the praise I give CK One Gold, I must say that the outrage of its longevity is warranted. I have sprayed this thing liberally as if it were a bodyspray or body mist and the damn thing barely lasted 3 hours! As such, this makes a better "pick me up" than an actual fragrance to wear for extended periods. Kudos to the house of CK for such an interesting fragrance!

After spraying: opening is sweet like pear in syrup/honey? (I look at the bottle) Definitely feminine. After a minute: it is a fig not a pear. Fig + syrup. Feminine. After 15 minutes: sweetness is gone. Now it is fig + angelica seeds + something woody, salty. Yes - Womanity by Mugler. Unisex. After one hour: fig + something aquatic not cucumber but... aquatic and cooling, like wintergreen and cucumber? + angelica + salty note of sage + bergamot, also cooling. All notes are well blended, the perfume is aquatic, slightly cooling and salty. Unisex. It is also very weak and stays close to the skin. (When I tested it for the first time I coudn't smell anything but sweet syrup and pear and after 5 minutes the fragrance was gone)

Scent wise, it’s gorgeous. Very fresh and spicy and makes you feel clean after a nice shower. Performance wise, shocking. Seriously it disappears almost instantly, which is a shame because if this were more of a strong performer it’d be a real winner. I loved the dripping in gold bottle, it’s probably one of the most beautifully designed bottles I’ve ever seen. All in all, it smells nice but the terrible performance stops it from being as great as it could be.

I bought this fragrance mainly because of the bottle, it’s lovely. Then, I fell in love with the fragrance, a great finding at this price range but the longevity was abysmal. What a bummer!! So as my last resource, I bought Iso E Super concentrate from eBay and dissolved 3 mls into the CK’s bottle. Let it set for 6 weeks and there you have it guys!!. A slightly more Woody Ck One Gold that lasts 6 to 8 hours on my skin. Dani @deepgreenbeauty 😄

I love this. I think it’s a great, affordable fig scent. It reminds me of Caligna (L’Artisan Parfumeur) but without the quirky mastic/turpenic quality. The sage definitely comes through for me but in a way that just highlights the fig which often gets lost on my skin. A beautiful wearable, aromatic unisex scent that can be found for a very affordable price. (I have a small splash bottle that cost just a couple dollars.) It makes me happy.

A brighter more floral take on CK One to my nose with less musk. Pretty lowkey but a nice scent nonetheless. Jasmine makes it lean more feminine, not truly unisex IMO but you could definitely rock this as a guy aswell. Sadly performance is truly awful, instant skin-scent that will be gone within the hour, for this reason alone I would pass. The CK-line has always been synonymous with bad performance but Gold has to be the worst.

the prettier, juicier, woodier sibling to One (OG). I never really loved the original... it's fine but not super exciting or compliment-getting. But Gold is the perfect scent for a little lunch date or a day where you're working from home and just want to smell pleasant - and can respray when you feel like it. It's not long-lasting, but I'm not upset about it since a 3.3oz bottle is so affordable on fragnet.

The opening is a bit weird, but then it turns into a nice fruity fragrance. Not overly sweet, a bit powdery, clean, not overbearing. The white florals are beautifully done. In my opinion, it’s one of the best flankers of Ck One. It also smells expensiver than it really is. Final note: 7/10. Projects well for the first hour or so, then turns into a skin scent. Longevity is 5 hours and counting.

Good price, good relax fresh and clean scent, and very much for Unisex, but let down by the performance - worst of all time - can only last a good 30min-1hour, after that it disappears, not toned down, not drydown scent, it just disappears. Luckily I only got the 50ml bottle. Scent: 9/10 (Very nice & citrusy fresh) Sillage: 2/10 (Almost non existence) Performance: 2/10 (Very very poor)

Ck gold was the one out of the gift set of 4 i used the most. I thought it had a fresh clean smell. Now that i think of it, i miss it. It was great for office wear and was bright and vibrant, sven if just for a 30 min. Sometimes i like having perfumes that dont last because i dont want to commit to smelling something for 8 hours. I think its unisex.

This DOES NOT smell like WOMANITY by Thierry Mugler. Stop the madness... One common note =/= an identical smell. Womanity is polarizing - metallic, briney, sharply green, watery fruit, sweet, and musky. CK One Gold is amicable - peppery, tangy sweetness, creamy floral, and blonde woods with a vanillic slant. Not alike at all.

Apart from the opening this one leans more masculine to me, only the opening might be a bit more feminine due to the sweetness. Longevity is not great, maybe around 2 hours, but at the price point it's fine to reapply often, and the 30ml bottle is easy to carry around as it's quite compact (and very cute!).

I love this fragrance, I think it’s good as a first. It does cost a lot but can be found cheaper in other countries. I have had it for a while and had a citrusy opening and dries down into a woody aromatic scent I love it personally I think it should be tried before buying but isn’t a risky blind buy

Quite a nice scent, got this one as a gift. What’s easier to gift than a bottle of Calvin klein perfume lol. However, I think for 20 dollars performance is not good enough. You can do better. With all the dupes available today, I’d rather get a dupe of blue de Chanel or sauvage.

I like the freshness to it, it did feel a tad more masculine but the scent itself is amazing and still definitely unisex. It's a shame it doesn't last very long but it's pretty well priced. I definitely wasn't expecting fig as a note but it works really well here!

Scent - 10 out of 10. Damn! I'd give this scent 11 out of 10, it's that good dammit! But..... Performance on the other hands, really let me down. If anyone knows this similar scent for its dupe/inpired, pls do let me know. Dying to find one.

I like this juice, I think CK one gold is more on the feminine side, but you can wear as unisex naturally. Strongly reminds me of TM Womanity, fresh powdery fig smell with very low sillage unfortunately (the Platinum edition is even worse).

Have it and wear it occasionaly. Very sweet and summery fragnace with mediocore sillage and moderate longevity. On the plus side it contains several layers of floral notes which fits very good for daily wear.

Loved it for the 20 minutes i could smell it, after that it vanished, very poor longevity on my skin and no projection at all, to bad as i would have bought a bottle if it wasnt for the poor performance.

An interesting fragrance that smells like a fresh and tamed version of Mugler Womanity. Bergamot and fig are prominent, whereas woods seem blended with sunny salicylates. The bottle is very clever.

THE GOOD: unique, bright scent that is very androgynous in my opinion THE BAD: does not last long at all, which is very unfortunate for a nice scent BLIND BUY: Yes RATING: 7/10

This perfume smells very fresh and simple with a slight hint of sweetness, it fits the clean girl aesthetic. It is good as an everyday scent and I love the bottle

It's a shame that a scent that smells this good, disappears so quickly. This is a problem inherent to all CK fragrances. Good smells, zero performance.

Light, fresh and pleasant with poor sillage and even worse longevity that I’d wager is perfect in hot weather.

Smells good. Sweet, woody scent with a bit floral and fruity. Pretty versatile, but doesn't project well.

I like this new fragrance from Calvin Klein on my husband is fresh but after one hour you feel nothing:(

When I first tried this a year ago, I liked it a lot. The scent struck me as sweet but classy. That is why when I saw a 200ml bottle on sale at a department store six days ago, I decided to get it, assuming the scent would be as I remembered. What. A. Freakin'. Disappointment. It certainly has been through reformulation. The sweetness is much lessened and the smell is VERY funny. I get a funny bittery soury opening, which lasted for three minutes, and then... Nothing. No freakin' thing!!! The opening wasn't that good, and there's nothing that comes after. I sprayed SIX sprays consecutively on the EXACT same spot (right arm, to be precise), and another SIX on my left hand, and still got that nothingness after that funny bittery opening. WHAT THE FRICK, CALVIN KLEIN?!? I took it back to the department store's counter brand hoping to return it but the sales representative tested it against the shop's tester bottle, and, to my surprise, the two were identical. Exactly the same bittery opening and nothingness. As a consequence, they refused to accept the return because they believed this was how the fragrance was meant to be and there was nothing wrong with it. I know something was wrong. CK One Gold used to awe me the first time I put it on, only next to CK All (which I think is just brilliant). But now, it's just funny watery nothingness. I really want to complain to CK about this blasphemy. How could they ever hope to sell this sacrilege when it's ultra-weak as it is? This HAS to be the weakest of the weakest I've ever tried. It's not even a fragrance!! My Yves Rocher fragrance mist that I bought for $3 actually smells longer and more properly. Shame on you, CK! Guys, don't buy this, unless you get an older bottle. I believe the new reformulation is much, much worsened. Shame that they marketed this as EDT, when in reality, it is Eau de eau de eau fraîche.

HONESTLY....I bought this because of the bottle LOL....really loved the gold drip look.....cheesy I know... I saw the small size bottle for like US$30.00 at an online discounter and I added it to my cart. When I received it I was surprised how much I liked it.....UNTIL.....I realized the poor lasting power....really disappointed =( I really didn't pay any attention to the reviews....it was a blind buy. If the performance would have been better It would have been a love for me....but it wasn't. After 2 hours it became a very faint skin scent on me. I went through the whole bottle in less than 3 weeks. I was working a lot from home when I bought this and I would reapply every hour it seemed. Nice try Calvin...but not today.
