CK One Platinum Edition

Never owning a bottle of the original CK one I decided to give this one a shot. Compared with the hoard of acquatic freshies that have taken over the fragrance world the last 20 years or so this is quite a different take on the genre IMO and for me it works. To some this will open up as a very sweet feminine like blast of fruits and floral notes mixed with some citrus. You probably wouldn't envision gentlemen such as John Wayne or Sean Connery saddling up in the wild west wearing this scent but that's ok. This is unisex after all and for all the guys out there the best part is yet to come. A soft layer of vetiver and woods will overtake the base of this fragrance creating a darker slightly masculine tinge to the base and most of the mid. I imagine women will fall in love with the bright opening. I talked to a few women at work about this one and one said the drydown was a tad bit to masculine while the other loved it from top to bottom. This is really blended very delicately to adjust to one's skin chemistry so let it settle down before making a decision on whether or not to but this. I think if you are in your teens and 20's this will work very well for you. Again for the older folks let it settle down before making any quick decisions. Its one of the most non-linear complex scents that I've smelt honestly. For those reasons alone I see the secret of the original's success. I'm a fan.

Sweet woody. That's the definition of this fragrance. Sweet first; woody after. And I love it! Not surprised at all there are cinnamon and apple notes in here. Just beautiful! But it smells like wood plus cinnamon on the dry down. The opening has apple, cardamom, vetiver, and very little lavender. There is a trail of amber here too, but luckily it is not distracting. Too bad it is no longer being manufactured. One would be wise to pick this up should one see it in a store. Longevity is acceptable. Lasts longer than CK One, though smells nothing like it. Leaning masculine. Women can wear this if they really want to, but in all seriousness, there are a ton of other feminine and unisex fragrances for the ladies to choose. I still think this one is more male. Perfect for spring. Distinctly reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana The One GREY, but without the incense and tobacco, and the sweetness amped up thanks to cinnamon and apple notes. CK should make this in default production line instead of CK One Gold. I don't even know why that one exists given how scentless it is. Grab a bottle while it's still on!

Tried it out today, first blast heavenly, 1 minute later gone, the scent changed into a more feminin vibe, first reminded me of CK summer 2018, but it got better as time passed, it is not a projection monster, they never are but longevity was pretty good, not a bad scent but a bit familiar from CK not anything new.

Very sweet, clean, pleasing, and elegant. Raf Simons collab if I'm not mistaken. Earthy lavender, aldehyde, and nameless fruits are most apparent to me. The scent breakdown is actually very close for this one with a soft cashmere feeling. The platinum version of CK1 indeed.

I think this flanker is better than the original and the best of the CK lineup. CK gold is very similar but has a chocolate note added. Only downside is performance but for $20 you can buy a new bottle every other week if ya got to.

ok, just got it. First of all, this is not like CK One Gold. This one is far more masculine. Those who said — got's to feminine vibe have no awareness of how feminine perfumes smell :D It does have some notes simillar to CK 2, but CK2 is far more feminine. I want to test it a bit more, but I like CK One Gold better. Opening — Blow of masculine notes Then — takes 30 sec to transition in a sweet smell. Not quite like Million Lucky, but probably this is where the Smith Apple comes in. Then — Starts to change into woody notes (probably vetiver) Then — Spices (can definitely feel them) Ladies who like masculine fragrances would love this. Guys, anyone can pool this off. Someone said this is for younger people — no, no, no. Again, if you believe that an older lad needs to wear a crappy Dior Souvage musk, then I get your point, but this is easily for anyone at any age group. Smells are memories. If you think old people need to smell certain way of course you'll be kicking this off the shelf. XX

I am getting a pleasant smell which is not offensive. For me it's a mixture of flowers with some fruits. Not over citrusy like the original CK One. Not for matured men or women. Good for someone who is under 22 and in youth. It's not harsh at all. Kind of powdery and getting a smell of a fruity shampoo. Compared with the original CK One, this one is more powdery and fruity. I am going 5 sprays with this. Which will last for about 4-5 hours. Scent 7/10 Uniqueness 5/10 Versatility 7/10 Longevity 7/10 Overall 6.5/10

First 5 minutes it is very sweet fruity like AB Blue Seduction, but the drydown is woodier, reminds me of Gucci Rush which i love, but CK One Platinum is softer, and the sillage is very soft. I wish the performance can be stronger. The Gucci Rush smell in this is something kinda skin scent, you have to put your nose on your skin if you want to smell the gorgeous nostalgic smell.

I hope this last more than the Gold version. Such a waste of beautiful bottle if it is. I really want to have CK One Gold but the longevity is super duper poor, don't wanna waste my money for such cologne.

Opening is hyper sweet and really nice and then it goes away. Sort of like my ex wife.

Here’s a good deodorant that’s fresh, masculine, and fruity. It becomes almost like a bathroom freshener thanks to a single citrus note. Not dumb at all, but it fades — it’s not strong, showing all the typical traits of a deodorant. However, it’s worth noting that the downside of being like a freshener disappears — unfortunately, along with the strength.

Smells like tinned pineapple. Probably packed full of manzanate, allyl amyl glycolate, and allyl caprioate. A bit of spice. That's all I get. Nice but too syrupy sweet for my nose

Unbelievable - CK Platinum opens up identical to AB Blue Seduction with just a hint more juicy apple faucet. Around the hour mark is when the fruitiness and juiciness completely dissipates and Platinum becomes a fresh vetiver "woody" scent. I recommend CK Platinum for newbies who don't already own AB Blue Seduction or its cousins Light Blue or Versace Eau Fraiche. The only complaints are the 3-4 hour longetivity, but that's expected with CK fragrances.

I don't know exactly what is the outstanding note in this fragrance but I instantly like it. Is not very long lasting but that opening is very enjoyable. Maybe is the combination of apple, cardamom, pink pepper and aldehydes notes.

Why didn’t I buy it while it was still available and cheap? Certainly because I wanted to refrain from buying each and every fragrance. A bit synthetic but very pleasant. Longevity below average. Apple and aquatic notes.

This unisex scent has notes of cardamom and a heart of pink pepper for a warm and modern blend. EdT
