CK One Summer 2020

I get a true Mandarin Orange skin right at the start then a fresh cut Ginger, really enjoy that love the smell of fresh Ginger, then it settles down to a citrusy version of CK One, I had CK One at one point but wasn’t a huge fan but it settles to a nice citrusy nostalgic scent for me I actually really love it. Really looking forward to enjoying this the rest of the summer. I’m not good at describing scents at all but I really like this one. Got it for $20 at Ross total Blind Buy win for me!

First blast is citrus bomb, and then settle down sweeter, i guess it is amber, or ginger that makes it sweet n toned down. Kinda reminds me earlier series of CK One, like 2004, 2006, 2010, & 2011 verison. I really like this, finally CK One Summer back to it's root. It took a year later for me to have this one in Indonesia. Now i wish i could get the 2021 version asap. I collect all these bottles from 2004 - 2020.

This smells so good. You'd be hard pressed to find a better smelling summer fragrance. If the performance was better, this would be insanely popular. Even as it is right now, I'm shocked it's not more popular. I know Calvin Klein fragrances get a bad wrap for being synthetic and basic, but this (I'm my opinion) breaks that stereotype.

@lmwimsatt the shades are a sticker. The bottle comes with stickers just like last year's edition. You can decorate it yourself as you see fit. In any case, I really like this year's entry into the CK One Summer Universe. I've just spritzed it, and so far, I get a salty citrus. I will update as it settles on my skin.

This is one of my favourite perfumes. The scent is so citrus and so fresh. It's sour and a little bit of sweet in the same time. Although it's not long lasting just like normal of the CK, but the smell is so great. I wish it could be more long lasting. Such a nice perfume for summer. I love it.

I bought this version of CK Summer during our unbearable hot Summer of 2022..I'm never up to date with the latest edition as they last so long. This one cut through the heat and humidity of the worst days. Fresh, happy, clean and cooling. Still delightful on lighter days. Always a winner...

Got to sample this one today I really like this one very crisp salty citrus I get more of the salt & mandarin on me nice & fresh & beachy, never had a ck one summer but this one got me considering & for the price at my work I just might for a new summer smell + fun bottle color :)

Love the smell! It's almost as good as 2021 CK Summer but still great, blind buy worthy. I see it on discounters so it's still available. Longevity is 2 hours max but performance isn't everything!

Calvin Klein CK One is a commonly summer flanker fragrance. Just like L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme, Tommy and Eternity. I guess you can include Light Blue, but that is not a summer flanker, even if they do releases for summer, they aren't called summer ____. CK One for summer 2020 released this fragrance. Sadly, it HAD to be released during the summer of COVID. CK One Summer 2020 is not super unique, but it is very good. When I first sprayed on CK One Summer 2020, I got Florida Water vibes from it. Now I'm not a total fan of Florida Water, but CK One Summer 2020 is much better. As I stated in my Florida Water review, it is very synthetic. CK One Summer 2020 is a more smoothed out Florida Water. Florida Water needs a few minutes to settle on your skin before it stops burning your nose, CK One Summer 2020 does not have that at all. If you like Florida Water, this is for you. CK One Summer 2020 opens with a mix of orange and salt. There is a bit of a ginger in the open too. The mid has a slight sage. For me the base has a bigger amount of sandalwood compared to amber. That said, often I wear sandalwood beard oil and beard balm so I wonder, is it due to me wearing the sandalwood beard oil that I think I notice it, or is it that I notice it from wearing the oil and balms? The world may never know... Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2020 is unisex. It is not solidly male or female to my nose. Florida Water I got that as well. That said CK One Summer 2020 is a better performer. Florida Water I think is a glorified aftershave splash, even decanted. CK One Summer can be splashed but works much better the spray. I find it lasts about 4 hours but it doesn't project super-strong. For this reason, I would decant it and spray it over and over if you really enjoy it. CK One Summer 2020 is a summer day scent. I do think you can wear it during spring, yes. That said it will work best in summer. I think it will work a bit better in summer from the extra projection of heat, but not much. It works casually and work. I do plan to wear it for my first cruise in two months. CK One Summer 2020 was a fragrance I got after I got a bottle of CK Everyone cheap. I enjoy this more than Everyone and on first smell, I got a back-up bottle of as well as getting bottles of the 2014 and 2019 CK One Summers. Mostly because I know how CK One Summer 2020 does not last. That said, I can only rate this a 7.2 out of 10.

Wow, very nice! This is a citrus blast that would be perfect on the most humid days of summer, right out of the shower. The sea salt and ginger give it a twist and the amber and sandalwood some warmth. It settles into a light skin scent rather quickly but sillage and longevity are not always the best with citrusy scents so no surprise there. Definitely unisex and anyone who likes citrus-fresh scents will love it. I'm not a fan of that genre but I like this one very much. The stickers they give you to decorate the bottle are a fun idea. Sunglasses, palm trees, boat, etc, and that volleyball needs to be called "Wilson".

I only smell lemon and at the drydown woody notes. I smell a bit of something interesting and nice, osmanthus or is that supposed to be the ginger? Mostly lemon and harsh wood. More masculine leaning fragrance, not complex or sophisticated. I wanted more and am now disappointed. The original is still better. I have 100 ml to go though. Will report back. Update: love it, nice simple citrus fresh summer perfume. Use it everyday, hubby loves it on me too. Don't smell the woody notes anymore.

This was a blind buy and I love it! It reminds me of Attelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis and their other citrus fragrances. Must apply generously because the longevity is not good with this one though. I have to agree with the commenters, it's more feminine leaning. Love it and do recommend for citrus lovers. The sage and sandalwood really round it out and give it some ground. Also it is very affordable at around 20 dollars, so I don't mind reapplying at all!

A strong citrus rind opening. The rindy, rindy citrus smells somewhat bitter for about 10 minutes, but not really off-putting. A bite of sage at the heart, that then warms some at the drydown with the amber and sandalwood. I really enjoy the likability, versatility and laid back vibe of these CK Summer offerings. This is an easy reach fragrance all Summer long, but I feel CK One Summer 2020 shines best during a summer evening. Rating 6.5/10

Salty bright citrus zesty zingy - i like it. Not one of a kind BUT definetly a gem for the price. Hold on... i need to reapply so i can finish my review... yes, it doesnt last but for $20, i dont mind reapplying. For some reason this reminds me of Arquiste Sydney Rock Pool. SPLASH~☆ this fragrance scent makes u happy, when u apply, u smile.

For some reason apart from delicate seasalt note (as in L'Eau Par Kenzo), what I get from this perfume is a combo of most tea scents I know - White Tea and Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden, something velvety and aromatic as in I Love Love by Moschino and bits of citrusses. Not a groudbreaker but nice, fresh, not crisp though.

Fresh and quite unisex. Floral note(s) dominates too much for my taste. Overall there is nothing special and I think this is too feminine for most guys. So I rate this 7/10 Doesn't smell like toilet cleaner and If you want to smell like cleaning products I recommend Red Power Ice 3 Ferrari :D

I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I love wearing this when I go in the hot tub. I mean, who wears perfume in a hot tub?! However, a spritz on my shoulders and neck, is so perfect. This salty citrus & sage cologne has the slightest hint of marine. It’s perfect for humid conditions.

First blast is not impressing, feels somehow cheap. But the dry down is excellent, more mature than the previous flankers, more salty and classy. Stays surprisingly longer on fabrics. Unisex but slightly in the masculine side for me. And, lastly - excellent value for money.

I did not appreciate this scent at first, trying it in cold weather. This is a real mandarin orange scent with lots of salt. Together, the notes can come off a bit harsh, allow this to settle down; the value and quality are there but it reminds me too much of Pine-Sol.

Fresh. Citrus. Sea salt & ginger hit you on the opening. Followed by sage & light woodiness. Great for summer casual wear. Not very long lasting. As most ck ones aren't. But for about $20 you really can't go wrong. I recommend for something light & inoffensive. 8/10

This perfume is love baby of David off cool water and Elizabeth Arden white tea. Doesn’t last too long but a good perfume for a sunny warm day. Definitely smells more feminine than unisex . If you like either of the 2 perfumes you’ll like this

Fresh and nice, an inoffensive fragrance for summer. It is nothing original but it is well done and has good sillage and longevity. Good for outdoor activities. On my skin, it is a sunny mix between citrus and light flowers. Final note: 7/10

I swear I can smell gin in this. And juniper (gin) isn't even listed in the notes. It smells just like a Tom Collins cocktail. With a bit of sea salt. Like you're drinking a Tom Collins on a boat out on the ocean. Leans a bit masculine.

Cool and fresh scent, smells like an Avon's shower gel, sorry but i dont know which one :D I only tried on a paper and doesnt feel salty.more like an orange fruit smell.

It couldn't exactly replace a beach getaway, but boy, did it come close! If you happen to stumble upon a bottle, just grab it, and you'll practically feel the sand between your toes. Well, Calvin Klein Summer 2020 captures that feeling and stuffs it right into a bottle. Now, CK One fragrances aren't exactly famous for sticking around all day, but this summer edition is different. I really like the Summer 2019 CK One, and wanted to get this because of the notes, I enjoy Ginger & Amber in frags. I have only sprayed this twice, and I tend to pick up a mostly salty/Sage Soapy vibe. I can't say it is bad, it smells clean, but has a strong soapy smell which seems generic which is not always a bad thing. I also find the drydown to be sharper than expected, and maybe it's my skin, but this one is just an OK for me. I feel it would be redundant to buy this if you have 2019 since it shares a similar vibe, much different than older summer versions, this one is more unisex imo than 2019. If you like the soapy almost floral vibe, then this does it, and it does last longer than expected for a summer frag. Just OK. $20 at rack stores and online, so it is worth the price you pay. I was hoping to get more Ginger and less sage and salt in opening. I really like 2019 summer, that leans more masculine & drydown is spicier which is my preference.

Smells clean unisex (or like window cleaner), leans to feminine like one user wrote. It ́s affordable. But this is rather like cologne. It lasts only about hour, not more. It reminds me Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden, it is also light clean scent (smell isn ́t similar, GT is definitely feminine) which lasts so short and seems to be pretty cheap but it is not cheap when I have to reapply every 1 or 2 hours. I can imagine wearing that after shower before bed. Or after morning shower. Wearing it all day is hard, I would reapply many times and bottle doesn ́t have any cup, co wearing it in bag is tricky. I am not sad about limited edition. I will enjoy it and use up quickly and I won ́t miss it at all. EDIT: Sprayer is hard to use for last 30 ml of juice. Sad and poor quality.

Compré este perfume el verano pasado a ciegas, por las notas que tenía me parecía que valía la pena comprarlo, y lo fue. Sin embargo no es el tipo de perfume que me gusta porque había algo en el que no encajaba con mi personalidad. A pesar de ser un perfume unisex, lo noto bastante masculino y jovial, sobretodo radiante y llamativo como el frasco mismo. Su duración fue prolongada en mi piel ya que sus notas cítricas se sentían durante el calor y al traspirar. Mi empaque venía con unas calcomanías para pegar bien divertidas. La verdad no repetiría esta fragancia, y definitivamente compraré otras de la misma marca.

Very bright, uplifting, fresh, citrusy, lemony sweet perfume. I enjoy wearing this whenever I'm going out in hot summer morning but it's not more than 1-2 hours job as this perfume fades very very quickly. Only downside is this longevity. Works little longer when staying in Airconditioned environment. Not very suitable for office though, more like a stay-at-home-and-enjoy-reading-a-book-while-sniffing-this-perfume- fragrance. Reapply every couple of hours for best enjoyment. P.S.- my wife loves this perfume on me 😁👍

Opens with an overpowering synthetic orange blast, and I mean BLAST!!!. Within 5 minutes you're left with an orange, ginger and amber dry down, it's too synthetic for purists but what do you expect from the CK lines? I got 100ml for $25 and I'd say I'm relatively happy with my purchase, not ecstatic but no regrets. It lasts a fair amount of time in the humid weather where I live as well which is good.

The opening citrus and aromatic notes resemble a fresher D&G Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Femme. As it dries down, it goes on a different route, and the sandalwood becomes more prominent. Overall, it is a decent and affordable fresh summer scent.

My dudes, if you're drawn to the dark green bottle, thinking this is virility, manly, or even unisex, good luck! I got this today...love the price, longevity, no it doesn't smell like CK One thankfully, but it's embarrassingly female...like whomever here said Elizabeth Arden called this one's number. It smells like a senior citizen woman IMHO. Sunflowers for dudes pretty much. The orange comes off peachy kinda..so peach posies, pal! Hey, I'm no stranger to enjoying unisex scents...mugler cologne, gaultier2, and even the "men's" lol fleur de male also by JPG, but this is boomer broad in a bottle aha(I like alliteration). That being sad, it's kinda pretty for an older woman...but it's something I personally am too bashful to wear in public, as I almost wonder if whomever mixed up a vat or something...it's just that effeminate! If you're thinking you'll get this for your hubby and you'll share it, that's probably doubtful. Will probably just use this for when I go to bed since it's a long fresh smell in my cocoon lol. But yeah, their marketing will be questionable...as this doesn't scream office or beach day...or even mild summer spray.

CK One Summer was king of fresh summer scents at one point. The latest releases do not contain the classic Ck Summer formula. I don't recognize them anymore. Personally, it's sad but if you've been in the game long enough, you know that you can't ever expect something to stay good. You can't really put your trust in a certain brand or line. I actually ordered some alternatives. I'm hoping Azzaro Chrome Aqua is better.

I can’t ignore the fact that the lemon smell reminds me of cleaning products used to clean kitchens or bathrooms. It smells just like a toilet cleaner. The fragrance isn’t bad or so but the resemblance to the smell of a cleaned bathroom is imminent.

This one suffers the same faith as the eternity summer flanker, it doesn't smell like summer to me, if you wan't something fresh buy the new ck Everyone or the 2019 ck collectors edt, they are both better and more suited for summer imop.

I wanted to like this fragrance as I am a fan of the CK One line. But this just smells straight up like candy. It was near-headache inducing for me so I sold it. If you are a fan of super sweet sea fragrances then you will like this one.

Smells like sunblock whenever you go to the beach for a swim and you put it on your skin, I don't recommend buying this one as it is also very salty. Reminds me of summer outings as a kid again. 2/10

I own and love the 2008 version, it's very youthful and yes I suppose a bit sweet and rather tropical but it's just a gorgeous scent. Very different to this 2020 version! This isn't a youthful fragrance, it has very little sweetness. Upon initial spray it reminded me of something I can't quite put my finger on it yet. Perhaps it's Trudie Sport by Kelsey Berwin, I think it may well be. Can no longer compare as I sold that one, this one is nicer to be fair. I smell lemongrass and there's a bit of a tea vibe going on here, even a nod to some retro summer eaux de colognes. I have a feeling this might last and project more on clothing (wishful thinking?), on my skin after 30 mins it seemingly became a close scent yet weirdly I seem to get whiffs of it in the air, it is very fresh. I wonder if it has similaries to Memoire d'une Odeur by Gucci? Similar kind of performance from when I tried that one anyway though this isn't quite that light. Try before you buy as it's not the usual CK One Summer flanker, some will find it better due to this fact, others will be disappointed ;) Edit: Longevity pretty good on my skin for such a light scent.

This juice is gorgeous. Salty oranges, aromatic sage and sparkly ginger. Not too sweet and not disgustingly cloying like lets say Lucky (Sorry). It's sort of candy like but without the creamy note, nor overdose of sugar. Like a mix of a salty ocean breeze and sweet mandarin oranges out of a can. This reminds me of the juice that marinates in the fruit for months. Sprayed this on my arm over 6 hours ago and its still going strong. Leans more masculine in my opinion. Its earthy over being floral and frilly. Daytime casual fragrance for sure- wouldn't bother wearing this for anything else but casual days. Stupid bottle color though! This definitely should have been a vibrant or creamy orange. Like an orange bottle with purplish gray lettering and a matching purple gray cap. The turquoise really throws off the scent experience and makes a slight disconnect when trying to figure out the fragrance & the notes.

Apart from pleasant citrus-floral start, it is almost exactly similar to Sun Java by frank Oliver, which I have and I love, so I love this one too. I mostly get mandarin and amber with hints of ginger and floral notes. The longevity and sillage cant compete unfortunately. It is almost a safe unisex buy with cute flacon. با درود. به جز استارت گلی-مرکباتی، تقریبا به سان جاوا فرانک آلیورشباهت داره ، که از عطرهای مورد علاقم هست و این رو هم طبیعتاً دوست دارم. من بیشتر پرتقال و امبر رو میگیرم، به همراه مقداری زنجبیل و نتهای گلی. باید توجه داشت که از نظر مونگاری و پخش به سان جاوا نمیرسه. به نظرم با درنظر گرفتن برندش وقیمت نسبتاً خوبش میتونه یه خرید مطمئن و یه کادو لاکچری باشه هم برای آقایان و خانما. شیشه جذابی هم داره.

Lemon and rough wood dominate. Fragrance that is more manly in nature, rather than complicated or nuanced. I really like it, it's a good uncomplicated citrus fresh summer perfume. The first blast is a citrus explosion, followed by a sweeter finish. This smells amazing, with a citrus burst that would be wonderful immediately out of the shower on the hottest summer days. The sea salt and ginger add a twist, while the amber and sandalwood add warmth. It rapidly settles into a mild skin smell, although sillage and duration are mediocre. It's worth a shot!

To be honest, this pretty much for me is citric but smells like a lime, literally, the smell is not that bad it is kinda refreshing but for me it lasts like 15 minutes and I just use it whenever I just think my room is hot and just use so it can smell like lemons, so the fragrance is basically lemon with slight freshness that for me lasts like 15 minutes so you can use when you just go to a friends pool and smell fresh,
