Eternity Air For Men

I think this is superb - and I'm certainly not the only one either, because I only just managed to get it at half-price at SuperdrugTM just before it sold-out. So it has that seaweed note in it, does it!? Now what is the other well-known fragrance that has that note in it!? Oh yes! That's it! (and I am familiar with it!) - the notorious Sécretions Magnifique ! Now this does not smell like it; but I was constantly watching out for a reminder of it ... and I don't think it was my imagination that I was getting occasional whiffs reminiscent of it! After all, that one, forall it's being unspeakably ghastly, does have some pleasant notes in it (which, I think, kind of paradoxically augment the ghastliness - like the sweet & innocent background music in a horror-scene in a movie! But I'm not of course reviewing that fragrance here). But this is a very pleasant fragrance - plenty of amber, robust, tenacious - altogether pleasant, and well-avoiding being generic. I think CK have done well here - perhaps it's part of this big push I hear they're making under their new director.

A shocking few seconds blast of alcohol passes into a very sharp ozone with a juniper/citrus undercurrent. A fumey mix of apple and violet then becomes prominent (but more on clothes vs on skin). The excellent Sea note seems more prominent at this stage than initially. From there it's a salty, slightly camphorous ocean smell. Can't say for sure that I get any patchouli but I'm okay with that. Also, at no point is it ever anything close to sweet (on me) and that's just fine too. All in all the fragrance is quite good because it's different. Lack of longevity is what kills it: freely overapply because longevity indeed is nil. Go in expecting it to have all the strength of a middling aftershave or deodorant and I bet you'll like it. +++ Having let it sit almost a month after the initial sprays, I've edited my review to a full Smiley. It's very good.

A refreshing summer fragrance, aquatic, light, cool, and universally acceptable, from the Eternity fragrance series, but in a light blue form. It is most likely classified as a blue marine fragrance. When you wear this fragrance, you feel the following notes at first glance: Sea Water, Ozonic Notes, and Juniper Berry, and the fragrance relies entirely on these notes. The performance is somewhat weak; it may last for two hours at most and then remains close to the skin. The bottle design comes in the traditional shape of the Eternity fragrance series but in an attractive, slightly light blue color. The price is also reasonable and not exaggerated. Conclusion: Regardless of the fragrance's performance, the scent is acceptable to everyone, even though it does not offer anything new.

Eternity Air smells very nice, and could easily be a guy's daily summer cologne, as it doesn't have the generic "blue", "fresh" or "aquatic" vibe. Eternity Air's composition of spices, citruses and aquatics are top notch and well formulated. To my noise the composition smells like refresh, "aquatic grapefruit". Definitely get your noise on this cologne for a few days, if you're looking for another nice spring/summer cologne to add to your rotation! I put this under Aromatic Essence for Men ! 🙄 ... & it was there for a while ... but I've got it in the right place, now. Seems more marine than airy, to me (slightly skanky marine - evoking a muddy beach after the tide's gone out, sorto'thing) ... like the kind of fragrance that would be expected to be in a dark green bottle rather than a light blue one. But it's a pretty fine instance of that genre, ImO: I'm quite satisfied with it.

Good scent, Its a 100% clone of Lynx/Axe Apollo. but seriously, it is pretty much just lynx Apollo in a bottle labelled ''CK Eternity Air'' can not believe I paid $60AUD for this. Performance is terrible, on par with body spray honestly one of my most regrettable blind buys just because of the sheer price tag. This is definitely should not be sold for anything over $10 Scent: 8/10 Projection 3/10 Longevity: 3/10 (3hrs if your lucky)

Ah this fragrance is so beautifully blended with patchouli, ambergris and green apple. dry down is so smooth that you cant resist to smell it again and again on your skin. 🌿🧊 I will suggest this perfume if you are below 30 because this is so modern and versatile at the same time. Only cons is its longivity is upto 3hr after that its too close to skin. For the price its a good blind buy fragrance.

I love Eternity Air , I can't understand all the hate and criticism saying that doesn't last long , this is nonsense, it's a lovely strong smell and the dry down is similar to Dior Savage but not as sickly sweet, I get about 3 hours on my clothes and 2 on my skin . Perfect scent to be worn in Summer , Autumn maybe on a winter night , Air is much better than Eternity Aqua which I think is weaker .

On its own it is an interesting, average ambergris type of scent.... but used as a base with another type of your favorite scent that you would spray on top of it... it is an excellent booster !! Blend away...it seems that this AIR mixes well with other fragrance IMO.....the scent 8.2/10....strength/longevity...7.0/10 im happy with it !! Ciao !!

Pretty good scent for the summer, has a classic blue fragrance that I usually like. Doesn't last as long as I would like but for $20 its still a pretty good fragrance to pick up. Nice and subtle, I could see this being a signature scent for the summer days.

I tried this at Macy’s today and it’s very good (I love fresh scents). The name really says it all a it’s light and airy but I found that it did last on my skin, I may pick this up full price for the upcoming heat in Southern California!

One of my favourite aquatics! Great for spring/summer day and even night time! If you like Bulgari Aqua Marine or Aqua Atlantique you’ll like this! It last around 5-6 hours but it’s worth the money. Definitely recommend!

This actually lasted over 10 hours on my skin with just 3 sprays. The dry down is quite lovely, as is the ozonic, aquatic opening. The violet here stands out until the dry down. Overall pleasant scent

I bought this for my man when we first started dating when we were 18. We’re 29 now. I love this on him. So fresh and clean! It’ll be his wedding cologne.

Calvin Klein Eternity Air opens with a very soft projection of citrus and azonic notes. The mandarin orange and apple are noticeable, but faint, with a touch of sweetness; the juniper berries join a moment after the initial application, but they are also very faint, slightly sweet and woody. The sea notes and ozonic notes combine creating an airy and aquatic accord that feels fresh. The opening is very soft, the notes come up faint with a very low projection. The rest of the notes join gradually but each one of them is very soft and almost indistinguishable from others. Ultimately the fragrance seems to project groups of notes rather than individuals ones. The noticeable ones are the juniper berries, ozonic/air notes, and a touch of lavender. From the opening to the dry-down, the mandarin orange dissipates almost entirely and the projection goes from low to very low. The fragrance fades away very fast. Once Calvin Klein Eternity Air has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very soft projection, juniper berries, and ozonic (fresh air-like) fragrance with very faint citrus and floral accords. The fragrance feels airy, clean, diurnal, faint, very light, marine, modern, sporty, and pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020 WOW RATING: 3/10. This is a pleasant but extremely faint fragrance. DISLIKE RATING: 0/10. This fragrance does not contain offensive notes. UNIQUENESS: 2/10. Aquatic (also known as ozonic) fragrances are very common. MASS APPEAL: 8/10. The combination of notes will come up as pleasant to most people. PROJECTION: 0/10. None, this is a skin scent. SILLAGE: 0/10. None. APPLICATION: Six atomizations or more atomization, spray your clothes to improve performance. LONGEVITY: 1/10. Low, it lasts for less than 1 hour. Longevity and performance are extremely poor. SEASONS: Spring and summer. The fragrance is too weak for winter or fall. OCCASIONS: Outdoor gatherings, business, casual. This is an office-friendly fragrance. VERSATILITY: 6/10. Good, it could be better if its notes would have a basic performance. GENDER: Masculine. The wood and spicy notes lean it to the masculine side but not for much. AGES: Any. RECOMMENDATION: The fragrance comes in an EDT concentration however it is so weak that it appears to be 1/3 EDT compared to other brands that provide fragrances in the same concentration. Its performance is very low and disappointing. Not worth buying it. BLIND-BUY: Yes. However, consider its poor performance. SIMILAR: If you are looking for a marine fragrance Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Atlantiqve EDT which is aquatic, marine, citrus and it has better performance; if you are after a more tropical fragrance, there is Creed Virgin Island Water EDP which features aquatic, marine, citrus, coconut, and lime, but it is pricey. Creed Virgin Island Water has two fantastic clones and more reasonably priced, Dua Fragrances – Caribbean Water and Parfums Vintage – Isla Tropical Prive. SUMMARY: A very soft projection (almost none), juniper berries, and ozonic (fresh air-like) fragrance with very faint citrus and floral accords. The fragrance feels airy, clean, diurnal, faint, very light, marine, modern, sporty, and pleasant.

First impression of CK Eternity Air is this stuff is BRILLIANT. As in mainstream brilliant, if not totally unique (but what is?). If you wait it out, you will witness no less than three distinct phases in this fragrance, which is practically unheard of in the CK line (or much of anything at this price point). Through these phases, I sense not only a thread of continuity to the Eternity line, but also some other familiar yet different accords that simply work at every level. Upon spraying, I get a heavy hit of alcohol and some of its lighter elements - what seems to me like sharp grapefruit (probably orange/juniper combo) and an ozonic, slightly aquatic spin on the original Eternity. I have to say that there are many, MANY fragrances that are ruined by this aquatic note, but not this one. All in all, I find it nicely balanced and uplifting without being too... well, anything. I also draw a bit of a connection to D&G Light Blue in this phase, just to put it in perspective. Light, optimistic and very agreeable. As some of the more volatile aromatics burn off, Air moves into a different direction - bringing a layer of sweeter, fruitier elements that bring a shadow of the likes of Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique, but also something of a barbershop vibe, reminding me of other lavender-forward scents like Ferragamo F Black or Mont Blanc Presence. And yes, there is also that slightly bitter seaweed note keeping it all in balance. IMO, it's here where some might suspect it's gone due to anosmia or olfactory fatigue, hence some of the criticism I've read about it. Finally, after an hour or more, Air enters its third life (at least on me) - woody, a bit sweet and vanillic to my nose. It reminds me in some ways of CK Obsessed or Antonio Banderas Secret Temptation (which I believe is criminally underrated). How a fragrance can begin its life as a work-friendly aquatic and somehow morph itself into something so date night worthy is beyond me. Air does all of that and more. On initial wearing, it seems to check all the boxes for me. Bear in mind the name: Air. This is not a name that would be given some club banger scent. It's light, of modest reach and moderate longevity - par for the course for modern designer fragrances. You may need to reapply during the day, but a scent like this makes it feel very worthwhile. No one will hate this, many will love it. It's honestly like wearing three different crowd pleasers, one after another. What's not to like about that? Thumbs up and a strong "like" from me.

I tested this fragrance while out-and-about shopping at a Calvin Klein outlet store the other day and, surprisingly, I really, really enjoyed this scent. Eternity Air is a very nice aquatic fragrance that smells even better than Eternity Aqua - more airy, aromatic and aquatic to my nose...and with a fair dose of ambroxan to keep up with today's popular colognes. Many aquatics come across as smelling like cucumber salad when they blend with my skin chemistry. Regardless, I enjoyed Eternity Aqua since first putting my nose on back in 2013, and purchasing a bottle a short while later. Although cucumber is listed as the primary note, to me it's just a very nice fresh-aquatic fragrance with just a pinch of that Eternity DNA. To be honest, I thought that I would apply a few sprays of what I though was Eternity Aqua since most of my fragrance had disappeared in the heat of a hot Summer day. The bottles looks very similar if you're not playing attention. Initially, I suspected Eternity Aqua had been reformulated before realize the source of my mistake. Based on my wearing, I actually prefer the scent of Air over that of Eternity Aqua - it's a very nice Summertime aquatic fragrance. Sadly, it did not perform very well in that it lasted around 3-4 hours and was largely a skin scent after the first few minutes. Sad, but true! In the end, due to performance issues I am sticking with Eternity Aqua and CK One Summer since for aforementioned performs much better, and the later is a better/cheaper alternative for the really hot Summer days. It's a shame CK released a castrated fragrance because Eternity Air is really is a very, very pleasant smelling Summertime freshie. I hope this one performs better on your skin. Cheers.

Sampled this way back 2019 while I was at duty-free. I did not like it then. Now, 2022, I got it because it's the best deal that I can get for a voucher. I still do not like it. Same sentiments from 2019. Now I can see where the negativities are coming from. On first spray, it reminded me of several fragrances. So already, there goes your uniqueness. After a few minutes, I can barely smell it, literally. I don't know if I'm just being anosmic though. At this point, it's safe to say that longevity and sillage are both lacking. If there is a note that dominates this, it's mandarin orange. That mandarin orange reminds me of the one in Coolwater Aquaman. Only with Aquaman, the mandarin orange is quite more pronounced. That's too bad since a bit of oomph can make this better than it is right now. Solution is to overspray. Overall, Aqua is still the better choice. UPDATE 11/14/22: Ok, so I've given this several wearings since I got this and, TBH, this has grown on me. The scent is so pleasant and inoffensive that any regrets that I had before are now gone. Mandarin orange is still the dominant note to my nose but what amazes me is the transformation of this scent. It actually goes through phases. Citrusy up top, fruity apple at the mids and finally, the ambergris at the base. Longevity still sucks but at this price point I cannot complain. This is as typical as department store fragrances go but that does not mean that it's bad.

Makes you smell like a sea monster from a 1930s horror film. This is technically a reluctant new contender in the getting-played-out "Blue" fragrance category that does not base heavily on woods, but rather a sweet, salty seaweed/ambergris. Great concept, though misnamed, this is an ocean water scent that does something authentic finally. I can explain: My whole life I have scoffed at "ocean breeze" scents because they smelled nothing like it. I love the real smell of the ocean: Standing on the edge of Biscayne bay, sea foam blowing past you - it's bitter, sort of pungent, like dirt. The ocean, after all, is not always regarded but should be one of the "earthy" scents. CK also somehow manages to capture the always fresh quality with the use of its "Sky of Sky" accord, paired nicely with an ocean accord at the top. Followed by a reliable heart of violet leaf, lavender, and green apple skin - AIR is a true ocean breeze. With that being said, it can be a dividing scent.
