Eternity Flame For Men

So flame is my 2nd most favorite perfume number 1 being ck eternity edp. You may say its cheap and designer and boring and dated and on and on but if you live in dry cool climates you dont get to experience ck the way you get to experience the dna come alive in warm humid climates. And im coming out here in defence of CK because most people who are reviewing have never smelt the same perfumes in opposite weather. And by opposite i dont just mean hot/ cold i mean humid / dry which all perfume reviewers have not even mentioned once on yt. When i lived cold cry weather chanel was a beast performer now i live in a hot humid country and lemme tell you its gone in 10 mins. All of them! I have bought retail packs from the showroom itself so no way all of them have been fake. Ck dna performs like a beast here. So if you dont live in warm climates maybe its not a good idea to get ck. The synthetic notes transform and smell heavenly here. And chanel is a joke here. Versace eros smells like absolutely nothing after dousing oneself in it. So i guess this is the culprit behind performance. Ck flame smells like sweet spiced warm amber with some of the ck edp dna the laveder. Its simple but so intoxicating and just amazing! So if you want to enjoy this one and you live in cold dry air then wear it as a gym scent where your body heats up and you break a sweat and if you get warm and sweaty enough i guarantee you it will perform and fantastically well. Anyway ill end my rambling and just conclude with this - IT SMELLS AMAZING IN THE RIGHT WEATHER IF YOU DONT MIND SYMTHETIC AMBER WHICH I DONT MIND AT ALL. ITS BEAUTIFUL. AT THE END OF THE DAY A PERFUMES PRICE DOSENT DETERMINE IF ITS GOOD. ITS IF THE VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE AROUND YOU LIKE IT THEN ITS BUT OBVIOUS THAT ITS GOOD AND IN THE RIGHT CLIMATE IT JUST STACKS UP THE COMPLIMENTS . THANK YOU FOR THIS ONE CK. I’ve been a fan of eternity since it first came out, I’ve never tried any of the other flankers, but Flame is really nice it opens with a heavy dose of pineapple, and it sticks around for quite a while there’s a fade of it in the background even in the dry down. The dry down is really nice you get the amber and leather together and I will admit it is on the sweeter side. But I have found that most women prefer a sweeter smelling fragrance. Well not being a beast mode fragrance, I get. decent longevity 12+ hours and good projection for at least four hours, I can still smell it on my skin the next morning. Everybody skin is different so longevity and performance may vary but overall I think for most people it’s about average. I would rate it 8/10.

First off, Flame is its own thing. THIS IS NOTHING LIKE STRONGER WITH YOU, OR EROS FLAME, ETERNITY PARFUM, JAZZ CLUB AND DEFINITELY NOT LIKE VERSACE POUR HOMME. Off the rip spicy citrus bursts through. Evolves to an Obsession for Men type vibe for a few minutes, then you get a spicy cinnamon red hot with some leather. Sage is noticeable. It projects moderately, lasts 5 to 6 hours and is just an overall nice spicy cold weather scent. It is a good flanker, i like Aqua, Original, Cologne so far and now this. $30 for 100 ml is worth it to me. I think it is like if CK made Obsession for Men in the 2010s. It does not smell the same at all but it is in the same vein.

Man I don't get the negative reviews on this at all. This stuff is fire or should I say flame 😏 Anyway, I think it has a Dumont Nitro Red DNA, not as strong and absolutely beautiful as red but a similiar DNA. Flame is definitely spicy with the underlying Eternity DNA though, if you don't like Eternity you probably won't like this. I love eternity and every single flanker I have, so nostalgic. I think it could be worn anytime as to me it's a freshy that's a bit spicy, but I definitely could see this thriving in the winter. I think some of the reviewers noses are broken here lol but the great thing about fragrances is that tastes are highly subjective

Ambery warmth + masculine comfort. Very cozy scent. When the weather's cold this fragrance is awesome, but any other weather and it's bad. When brand new it opened with a harsh blast of sweet pineapple that I didn't like, but one year later the pineapple's completely gone and it's much more pleasing. Longevity: 8 hours Projection: 5 hours later I still get whiffs of it when I move. Versatility: Cold weather only. Initially I was going to give it away because of the screechy pineapple note, but now it's a solid keeper.

Absolutely can smell the likeness of the YSL which is my favorite scent in my collection ..It also seems to have the orange blossom note as well....by the way ....Just stumbled upon this at a low price and yes it is a good mimic of the YSL ..It does not have the strength of the YSL and it is about at least 60% similar to the profile of the scent..It's really nice smelling scent which has dropped in price which is still pretty new and I'll have to give it a 7.9 and strengthen longevity a 7.0....Ciao!!

I like this. BMN it smells like someone came up with Eros Flame 'de Cologne. The initial opening is a bit more sophisticated then what i would expect from a cheapie. It's not CH Prive with it's leather ambitions but the general result is better blend depth than a similar priced woody aromatic. By my body chemistry and collection this light leather amber is for spring and summer; 3 sprays. This would never make it in the Oud, leather, and heavy spice winter. Appeal maintainer at least.

Flame is a warm sweet fruity, peppery and spicy perfume with amber. I tried Fuel for Life Spirit once and yes, it is similar although, Fuel was more powerful. Longevity and silage are both good and the silage is attention grabbing. A good winter perfume. Overall, Flame is very nice indeed and it is in the same family as Fan di Fendi Homme *Update* This grows on you.

I came across this cologne yesterday at the department store. After trying this, I must say its scent is between Stronger For You and Mahogany Wood. It is long lasting and has great longevity. Even after a shower, I could smell the scent which is unusual these days. This one is worth trying.

The best in the Eternity line. Eternity Flame affirms classic masculinity with-out the yuck sweetness that modern men yield too. Amber-sweet-leather. Something time-less for those that aren't victim to the current trend.

It’s really not bad. For the price of $20, I think it’s pretty good. Moderate longevity and projection. Suitable for evening night cool weather. Try it.

Calvin Klein is one of those brands whose fragrances I regularly skip when I'm looking to buy one. I think I even wrote somewhere that I'd never buy a CK fragrance. with so many disappointed reviewers and so many pointless flankers + the general "hate" towards the brand and their policy to, even when they actually manage to release a good product, simply reformulate it and destroy it completely... I mean, it's almost impossible to be excited about their products when the first thing you read when you go to check a particular fragrance is "COTY ruined yet another classic" or something similar. I was interested in CK One Shock, Obsession and Dark Obsession, Euphoria and also one of their summer releases, but I can't remember which one. the point is, I gave up as soon as I saw performance charts and countless reviews reporting longevity issues. I'm sorry, but I'm not spending a single penny for water. at this point you're probably wondering how the f..k has Eternity Flame ended on my shelf then. well, first of all, people said this actually performs - and it's true. about 5 hours of moderate projection + it sits close to the skin for another 2 or 3 hours. I'd say it's ok after everything I read before about performance of their other products. second, there are couple of fairly positive reviews on YouTube, from both men and women. third and probably the most important, I was gifted a coupon which could have been used on particular brands and CK was among them. so that's it, I used it on Eternity Flame and got it for good price. does it smell nice? it does. is it a good performer? I'd say it performs adequately. is it unique? not a chance. does it have to be unique? nope. should that 'dislike' bar be so high? not a chance. but the most important question is - is it worth the money? despite everything I wrote, I'd still say no. you see, without that coupon I mentioned, full bottle of this would cost me about 45-50 € including delivery (Notino). now, fragrantica offers me to rate this scent with love, like or dislike, and it's a solid "like" from me because it's simply a nice scent and without a doubt a good release from CK. the problem is, it doesn't really fit anywhere. it's not unique, it's also not something you simply MUST try and because of the price, it doesn't really fit your typical "cheapie" category. so unless you're hardcore CK fan, you can just skip it and be happy with something else just like I'm happy because I have it. it's simply not something you pay full price for and that's why I can't recommend it despite being pleased with this buy.

Calvin Klein Eternity Flame for Men came out during a moment when spicy fragrance flankers came out. Versace produced Eros Flame at the same time and we can easily point to the Sauvage EDP as well. I cannot comment how close Eternity Flame is to Eros Flame. Eternity Flame for Men I got due to my love of the original Eternity for Men as well as my near love for Eternity Summer for Men 2019. Spraying Eternity Flame you will get something slightly different than with Eternity for Men and most of its flankers. You get a spicy blast. I mean there is spice in the original Eternity for Men, but it is in the backseat to the citrus and this is like curry or cajun powder as oppose to lavender giving away to sage. I think the pineapple note also makes it smell spicier. I dare say that the pineapple is Aventus-like spicy, not that the fragrance is like Aventus. If that makes any sense. The mid is rosemary heavy which is where I think the cajun/curry powder smell comes from. The base is a mix of amber sweetness and leather. Eternity Flame for Men is a really nice fragrance for fall and winter at least in Arizona. I could see it working in a more temperate spring climate, but Arizona is more warm so the spice may come off as too much. I can see Eternity Flame working for dates and work settings. I say this as we are indeed talking a Calvin Klein fragrance with Calvin Klein performance. Eternity Flame for Men smells really nice and I must say I feel it got slept on a bit due to the Calvin Klein known performance issues. For this reason, I give Eternity Flame for Men a 7 out of 10.

The original CK Eternity was my signature office scent for years but I don't wear it anymore, just got a small bottle for my collection. To find out more about this flanker, I tested it at JC Penney and I like it but they are selling it for $72 after tax so no way. Instead, I ordered a 3.4 oz from online discounters for just $25 and I am happy. It's a warm fruity amber scent with moderate sillage and projection. I thought it has some similar vibe with other cold weather designer fragrances out there but I wouldn't consider it a generic vibe. This one has its own personality but maybe to some folks, it may smell redundant. To my nose, the opening vibe has a striking similarity with John Varvatos Vintage which I also own. Others may have a totally different experience and my respect to that. I tested them again side by side and I prefer JVV. I will do some full wearing to really dig into this frag. I will let it grow on me further since there is something to it that is quite promising but I will do an update just in case. This fragrance is perfect for the current season till early spring. At that price point, it wouldn't hurt to check this out if you like its scent profile. It's always a good idea to sample before you buy. I'll give this humble juice an 8/10 Update: If you have John Varvatos Vintage, you probably won't need this one unless you really love it. “Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. Smells pleasant but I'm going to have to say it's kind of a basic warm, ambery sweet scent. It even reminds me of Adidas Born and a slightly warmer/sweeter Le Male eau fraiche. i blind bought this but did a quick check on fragrantica before purchase and saw the pineapple top note and was hoping for that. I dont smell even a lick of pineapple. Upon first spray it momentarily smells like its flanker relative Eternity Now. Eternity Now takes a different turn and is more interesting than Flame. I blind bought a 1oz of this for $15 at my local Ross. I'm not too disappointed but I was hoping for something little more interesting.

It ́s nice. Blindbought it. Crazy cheap nowdays €23 for a 50ml. Many cool faces during freshly sprayed and to the last drydown. Pineapple, A bit Oriental, Amber, alot of >Rosemary, Sage but also fruity... clean & fresh. The shirt the day after smells good <3 . It has the original Eternity EDT dna, but spicier, more things going on. Actually well done. Longevity is Great 8++ hours and Sillage over moderate. Smell 7/10 Longevity 7,8/10 Sillage 7,7/10 Versatility 8,8/10 Uniqueness: 7/10 Value and Quality 10/10

This is by far one of the better Eternity fragrances that I have come across. As a fan of all Calvin Klein fragrances I have quite a few in my collection and Flame really does stand out as a unique fragrance for the Eternity line. The pineapple opening is not overpowering, but the dry down to amber and leather truly completes the fragrance experience. I am excited to have picked up this fragrance and will definitely add it to my rotation.

Is this really that bad? I doubt it. I haven't managed to find it in my town (France) so wonder if it's a limited release. I feel people just hate on CK for the sake of it, most of their recent releases have varied from solid (CK All) to superb (Obsessed Intense for men) but go overlooked, often due to limited availability as well as brand preconceptions. If this was a D&G or Bulgari release many people would be hyping it I reckon.

It smells good, actually it smells so good that it is actually annoying because you want this fragrance to stop smelling and projecting after some time, and it still does, even after a shower. Not safe for offices and schools, not safe for a blind buy, good for cold weather hangouts and dates. Longevity and projection beast mode baby probably the most annoying fragrance that you can get from CK but in the best way possible

Opens up with a sweet amber drenched pineaple with a nice subtle dose of a soapy herbal rosemary that adds a sort of green accord to the scent. All this rests on a subtle base of leather. Not a bad scent but nothing groundbreaking. A linear sweet youthful scent with added rosemary and leather. One of my favorite fragrances for under 30$

A very nice sweet fruity, ambery and slightly leathery take on the eternity formula. You also get some slight aromatics or herbaceous notes. For me performance was average but an awesome scent especially for the price. Great for colder months but it’s Still wearable on warmer days too. Cozy and masculine

Put on your black golf trousers and white socks and proceed to apply 'Flame' after consuming a bitter bowl of coffee made by David Lynch. My Jewish nose is hit by the loud aroma of an enamel pan housing burnt sugar. Is it sexy? I don't know. Is it sui generis? It is as much as David Lynch is.

I really like Eternity Flame. It's a very pleasant, smooth, and sweet scent. I think it's the pineapple and Leather combination. You could wear this any time... any place. You can find a good deal on it if you look around. I bought a 1.7oz bottle at Nordstroms Rack for $19.99.

Tried this the other day. It smells very nice compared to the other bitter fragrances in this line up. Smells very sweet, like amber and pineapple, when it dries down you can smell more of the leater and it ends up smelling kind of like varnish. Wouldn't pay over $20 for this.

Just picked this up from ross for $26, I have to say its actually pretty good. It different than the usual eternity line, stands out more. Really like the dry down as well, pretty good blind buy if you ask me.

A nice, simple, cozy cologne for men. It starts out with the typical powdery men’s cologne accords before becoming more powdery. It’s nothing too remarkable, but still pleasant in its own way.

Really good fragrance for the price. Smell is nice, can definitely smell the pineapple. Performance is average and I agree that it's underrated.

I love this fragrance. It has a warm amber and spicy backround. Makes you feel like Christmas.

Amber and pineapple with a sensual leather that is worthy of the name FLAME

My first winter fragrance and an absolute banger for someone on a budget.

#1655 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a sprayette from scentswithsense.com. I wasn’t going to blind buy a full bottle. Calvin Klein has released dozens of “Eternity “ flankers and every one I’ve sampled so far, except “Parfum”, has been a mediocrity for the pharmacy cologne aisle. This isn’t terrible, but with thirty “Eternity" flankers you can’t really expect anything unique, and it isn’t. Anyone ever sniffed Brut “Alaska?” That’s kinda what this is. Honestly, it’s the sort of stuff my sister would get me for my birthday when I was in high school. There are at least a couple hundred pineapple scents out there for men. This isn’t the worst. That would be Edgardo Chilini “Silver Olibanum.” But this wouldn’t be a top fifty either. My top pick would be Valentino “Uomo Born in Roma Yellow Dream” which runs $80 and up. Price-wise this “Eternity Flame” is on the same level as Swiss Arabian “Pure Instinct” and Armaf “Ego the Falcon”, pineapple scents that also go for $25-35 like this stuff, but both of which IMO are much better than this scent. Quality wise this stuff isn’t bad. A little better than moderate silage. Makes it to lunch on the skin. The rosemary is prominent in the opening which gives it a little spiciness. It’s inoffensive, pleasant enough, especially a couple of hours in when it does kinda grow on me, but overall it doesn’t make a strong impression. Won’t be anyone’s signature scent. I’d keep it to casual use in the daytime. Same way I feel about all the “CK” scents I’ve tried. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Received this a 1.2 mL tester years ago from Ulta a few years back, and I'm testing out all my "winter" scents at one per day. As a note, I'm comfortable enough in my gender expression to wear unisex or even straight out "for men" scents, depending on my mood. The opening is really sharp and a bit overpowering, but to be fair, that might be due to the fact that I am a chronic over-sprayer--in a perfect world, I would love to be smelled before I am seen. I realize in the real world this can be insanely obnoxious in shared spaces and I try very hard to be considerate when at work and only spritz 1-2 sprays. Buuuuut I'm not at work, so 6 sprays it is! :D Back to the fragrance--once it dries down, it's nice. It reminds me a lot of my grandfather in his woodshop. I'm not sure what his signature fragrance was, but it shares a lot of DNA with this. It's not groundbreaking, but warm and paternal. A lot of the reviews say "sweet", but I'm starting to think the definition of a "sweet" fragrance for men is very different from the sugarbombs that are "sweet" for women. Perhaps my nose isn't sophisticated enough to pick out all the notes, but by far the most dominant is the rosemary, for me at least. I don't detect the pineapple per se, but there's definitely some citrus behind the herb...orange, maybe? I didn't know you could get name brand fragrances for those kind of prices at Ross--thanks for the tip, @mikestro. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $25 max for this.

First CK frag I ever tried. My girlfriend wearing CK Women and I really liked it, so I was like let me give CK a shot. I found CK Eternity Flame on good price on fragrance direct and bought it because of the good reviews and because it has one of my fav notes - Leather! Well... It is not what I expected. The opening is very fruity and sweet, ambery sort of sweet warmth. Leather is barely noticeable, but still there. So far is alright. Nothing special, but decent smell though. The dry down... Here is the part that kills my desire to wear this fragrance. It's soapy, and on the top of it old school kind of soapy. Really not enjoyable dry down for a modern man who wants to smell bold, safisticated and daring. I love the dry down of the perfumes, and for me personally the dry down is the game changer in every frag, as this is the smell which is going to stay on you, not the opening. Unfortunately from a very pleasant smell this one evolves to a 45+ men sort of smell. Something that I can't afford. This is why I've got this from may be a month and I worn it just once.

This scent is nice but I have to put it on my no repeat list. Super mild fruit and spice but so pale in comparison to the womens version. I had blind bought flame for women at a discount store and was blown away by the quality and longevity especially given the price. It’s become a total go to for times when I can’t assess my fragrance mood. With that success and the fact that I love one of the 2019 mens summer flankers from CK too, I had to get a sample of this. Too bad it didn’t go my way... just disappeared quickly and wasn’t interesting enough.

50ML for $31 on Fragrancenet makes this a pretty great value, but it's pretty uninteresting. The opening was a bit fruity but a nice combo, however it stayed too fruity for too long and lacked refinement and balance. If you have a $30 budget and want a winter or fall fragrance, you could do worse, but I'd rather pay up to get something better. It's an early fall evening scent, but I just don't see why someone would grab it. At discounters, Man In Red by Ferrari is better and does similar things but better.

I really like this. Someone said that it's a poorly performing version of Eros Flame. I disagree. I see it as a work-friendly version. Not too cloyingly sweet either. You could call the opening a little harsh, but that doesn't last long, and the dry down is just right. Doesn't project spectacularly, but a skin scent for most of the day. Any day of the year.

PhonePotato is spot on. The opening is nice and reminded me a little bit of Coach Platinum. After 1 hour it's not even a comparison: Coach Platinum is a better blended and higher quality scent than Eternity Flame. They even share some notes but the difference in quality is noticeable. If you enjoyed this, get Coach Platinum instead.

If you think about the listed notes, you can smell them -- a synthetic, genericized version of them. A very meh wood-citrus fragrance. Inoffensive. I could still smell it faintly on my forearm almost two days later, so if you like this, at least it'll stick around.

It's alright. I like the leather notes. I'm not too much of a fan of how spicy it is. Seems like an OK fragrance to wear around the holidays with family.

I went back for New Years Day sale and smelled this again. this is a safe crowd pleaser. Smells great but nothing new or unique here you have smelled it before in some form. I am not an expert by any means but I would say this is in the realm of Eternity->Aventis->Eros combo clone. Since it is nothing new I will wait a couple months and grab it for $35 online. Will work year round but in the summer the least. The pineapple note is fruity, sharp, synthetic, and a little darker so it will work in the summer the least in my opinion. I can't comment on longevity since I have only smelled it on the test card. It lasted well over a day on the card however that I had from the day before. If you are a eternity fan and like the flankers you will like this. In my opinion Eternity Now was the best flanker so far, just has poor performance. This seems like it will have moderate performance and be a versatile fragrance for work, play, and out. Update: I went to mall with wife and tried this on my skin this time. It smelled better on the test card than on my skin. And this being said, upfront my nose isn't as sensitive as others so I miss subtle notes. With this I really got the rosemary and a dark synthetic pineapple. Just doesn't work for me. Performance wise I would say it is moderate to a little better than moderate on longevity. Sillage is moderate. To me this frag is taking a lot from modern pop scents Yves SL "Y", Eros Flame, and then you have the pineapple. On paper it should work but not for me. Not pleasant enough, kind of dark powdery harsh dry down. I don't get leather at all.

The scent is not bad. Sometimes CK had special Summer versions, and this one could easily be called the Winter edition. For me, it is the scent of the pre-Christmas season, Christmas parties on a cold day at the bar. The problem is longevity and performance. For me this is the second worst longevity after CK Air from all of the designers bottles, which I ever tried. Up to 20 minute, and it ́s gone. I tried it also from friend (he bought it in the store, me online) - no difference.

Eternity Flame is not terrible but it's a pass for me. It has decent performance while the Eternity Air flanker did not. It's lost in the pack of sweet fragrances for me though. There are a lot of similar offerings out there, like Coach for men, that I prefer and are cheaper. I am really liking the new Eternity edp release but not Flame unfortunately.

Don't be deceived by the word 'flame' in here. There's nothing fiery or whatever at all in this fragrance. I remember disliking it from the first sniff. It felt like an unbalanced perfume that didn't know which type or direction it wanted to take. I'm surprised that Laurent le Guernec is the perfumer of this one since his Marc Jacobs Rain is one of my favourite fragrances ever period. Maybe he cooked this up on a bad day. I don't know what was off with this. Too much amber? Weird combination and lack of balance between amber and leather? Lack of the original Eternity DNA? I'm not sure what's the culprit here but the result is very off and unbalanced. Not recommended.

Not safe blind buy. Smells like a weird spicy cucumber, Calvin Klein has good clothes but I can’t say the same about their fragrances, 2/10

To my nose this is Juliette Has Gun Not a Perfume + Leather. Since I don't like either of those notes this is a scrubber for me.

I long since gave up trying to aquire all of the Eternity flankers, it would be an almost impossible task, and I take the point that most of them are poor, they are. Sometimes, as with Now, they get it right, and sometimes with Night, they get it wrong. Flame is somewhere in the middle, first off, performance is excellent, not something you always associate with Calvin Klein, but this clings to the skin. The opening is the best part, you get that fresh pineapple, and mellow spice, that stays for a good few minutes, then comes the dry down, another warm Amber, so many fragrances dry down to a warm Amber, it's becoming repetitive. It is a crowd pleaser, and people will like it, I just want something a little different, which is what Now did. I get the similarities to YSL's l'homme, but in fairness to this Eternity, it lasts way better. It's a good, solid fragrance, a year from now and you'll have forgotten it.

Hadn’t worn this in a little while, but I notice there’s a good third gone from my bottle so I must have been really into it at one time and then probably put it away with the change of seasons and forgotten about it. Revisiting it now, I think it’s only crimes are being called ‘Flame’ and being coloured dark orange (although obviously I do get the amber reference) ‘Flame’ might lead you to believe there are warmer spices in this, but there just aren’t. What you get are the notes above which create a sweetish, slightly herbal, tame leather, bit soapy, fairly long lasting (on me), ‘Eternity-esque’ scent. If the juice was grey and it had a different name, CK really would have had a winner here, but they let their marketing guys lead them and it backfired. I still like it though. And I thank the sales guy for steering me away from Eternity Air, which I intended to purchase that day.
