Eternity for Men Reflections

Eternity Summer's new release certainly does not disappoint. A surprising woody aromatic with a bitter and strange top note that is completely new to my nose. Once you are fixated on the mystery of the top notes, the chocolate comes through out of nowhere and settles into a place where it should be - not too strong, with just enough roasted earthiness to add depth that lends a rich gourmand feeling that fades off. I got stonefruits over moss and sandalwood a few hours later. It should be noted the chocolate does not stick around, and is more of an Andes mint. I love the direction Calvin Klein is taking their Eternity line, which seems to be releasing these flankers for all of Eternity. I personally do not mind, especially with how forward their last releases have been: a coconut spice bomb, followed by a minty watermelon classic, and now a decidedly-male absinth mint chocolate that really wears elegantly. There is a classiness in the blend here: the chocolate note, which often comes off as juvenile, comes across as really stylish due to the earthy supporting base. This is really a classic mossy cologne with an unexpected first act. The real trick? Can you wait for REFLECTIONS to show up at discount retailers for half price?

Just love the absinthe in it and how good it blends with oakmoss and dark chocolate/cacao notes. Very well balanced and surprisingly good!

Smells very similar to the new Bad Boy Extreme but fresher and better blended. Its very nice!!!

Rating: 8.0/10 Eternity Reflections by Calvin Klein was a blind buy for me, and honestly, to me, it smells nothing like the original Eternity fragrance, but in a good way. I picked it up at Ross for about $30, and at that price point, it was definitely worth it. The scent opens with a refreshing minty vibe that’s light, sweet and smooth, with subtle hints of chocolate. It reminds me of a creamy Mojito. Maybe it’s the color of the bottle influencing my mind, which btw, is a beautiful mint green bottle. But that cool, crisp, minty freshness really stands out. Performance isn’t its strongest point; projection and longevity are moderate at best. You’ll probably want to reapply every 3–4 hours. With that said, it’s an easy, relaxing scent, perfect for casual days at home or when you want something refreshing but not overpowering. What I appreciate most about Eternity Reflections is its uniqueness. It doesn’t smell like anything else in my collection, and that makes it special. If you come across it at a discount store like Ross, TJ Maxx, or Burlington, I’d say it’s definitely worth a shot.

Minty aniseed on the skin, creamy mint chocolate in the scent trail. It's fresh, bright and playful. After about half an hour, subtle oakmoss and woody sandalwood are noticable under the 'absinthe' and pull the fragrance back into a somewhat more grown up territory. Unisex. Moderate to intimate projection. The mint chocolate follows a half step behind you and turns some heads during the first few hours of wear. 6 to 8 hours longevity, it's just an oakmossy skin scent by hour 6 though. Edit: Topping up with a spritz every few hours throughout the day, has me smelling like a mint Aero by 6pm. This is good for moral.

This smells wonderful. Chocolatey with a hint of mint. Different from anything else I own. Typical CK problem, it doesn't last. Fine for running errands or meeting a friend for lunch. Could easily be unisex but I wouldn't call it feminine. More gourmand. Don't expect it to be noticeable more than two hours. I don't regret my purchase, but probably won't restock when empty. Smells like those after dinner chocolates you get at Olive Garden.

Got this from superdrug in the UK for £17. And for that I think this is a rather wonderful scent. That doesn't appear to get a lot of love in the fragrance community. Interesting how fresh it is considering the note breakdown that wouldn't generally suggest it leans this way

This smells like a refined version of CK Shock Street Edition for Him to me. Minty Alcoholic Floral Chocolate with a nice Woody Oakmoss base. Not bad.

Good, if picked up on discount. Drydown smells like a very mild version of Defy Parfum; cacao or coco powder like.

It purely smells like soap/body wash, i get no hint of chocolate or absinthe, yet I am sure I do not have a fake.

I like it. Very interesting scent for sure. Chocolate note is very interesting.

Opens fresh; is clean, minty, airy and light. It's aromatic and a little citrussy, this is followed by clean musk. After a while on the skin it becomes spicier and has some light woody notes. It smells (to me) a little like "Polo - mints," and is reminiscent of the original in as much as it has a cool, "90's" profile. This scent is good for all ages and has moderate performance; ok projection for the first hour and lasting as a skin scent for 6-8hrs. Would probably suit spring and summer best, and is more of a daytime scent. Perfectly acceptable at the office too. (I didn't pick up on any chocolate aromas, and so was suprised when I saw it listed. At a push you could say there is a sprinkling of coco powder. This, probably coming from a mixture of woods alongside some light patchouli notes?)

This is a typical limited edition summer Eternity thru and thru. Technically a milk-chocolate accord plus wormwood EO lightened by lots of linalool/DHM, allowed to shine and stay by huge doses of IES and white musks. The end result is an airy, fresh, dry and relatively short lived skin scent with a soft sandalwood base. Some people smell moss in here but I don't. The base notes are weak compared to the top/mid so it doesn't last long, in pair with the rest of the Eternity summer editions.

Wins my vote for the most generic, non-descript and characterless creation in the entire Eternity line. Kudos to CK for achieving ever dropping heights of success! :D

It's a THUMBS DOWN from me. Don't try CK Reflections unless you have had about 8 shots of absinthe!!! When I smelt this before buying I thought to myself... Are they serious! There is something abnormal about this fragrance. It is only now after having looked at the notes that I see chocolate mixed with oakmoss mixed with absinthe on top. An experiment gone wrong worse than Frankenstein!! It's no surprise that CK Reflections has not been attributed to any perfumer.

The opening is very citrusy and a bit too sour for me. As it dries down however I get some pretty pleasant sandalwood, that's not too strong but smells clean and pleasant. The drydown reminds me a bit of Zara Vibrant Leather Oud. The note breakdown of absinthe+chocolate+sandalwood might give the impression of a dense arome but the opposite is true, this is very much a classic Calvin Klein in that it is airy, fresh and kind of "thin". Overall I guess I like it, thumbs slightly up because of the drydown that but I don't care much for the rest of the scent and the performance is meh. I won't be buying this and I'd say neither should you, at least before it drops to some silly low prices in 6 months.

It makes a clean impression. It smells familiar, similar to Eternity Air. I like them both. Additional Notes: I agree with the above comment that it has a "thin" development. The musk like quality sticks around long after the other notes have evaporated which is especially noticeable on clothing, it's not a complaint, but it is what Eternity Air has in common. I am wearing this in Autumn so I am curious about how it will develop in the warmer months.

Picked it up hoping for a kryptomint dupe and instead got a minty bad boy extreme. It isn’t bad, if anything i wish there was more mint because the chocolate and sandalwood mix is very prominent. Probably too sweet for the heatwave we’ve been having so i can’t wait to try in the early stages of fall

CK Eternity Reflections takes the cacao note from JPG Kokorico and blends it with a familiar "men's fresh n sporty" DNA we are familiar with. Different, but not groundbreaking or anything I feel someone should go out of their way testing/sampling.

Ok, now THAT's a complete kick in the nads! It's green! And chocolatey! For St Pat's?????? I'm joking but absolutely determined to get my nose on it.
