Eternity for Men Summer 2017

Well, I had given up hope that Calvin Klein would ever have another great smelling fragrance. Sure, some of them have been okay. But it has literally been decades since they have had a scent that I really got into. This is surprising since year after year another flanker is released from CK, and every year I yawn. Except this year. I sampled this one today and I will be going back to buy it. I love this one. At first it comes off migraine inducing synthetic but give it a few minutes. I know that sage is listed as a top note but I think it comes out more with the sandlewood after it settles. The sage becomes much more apparent once it settles but man, I love it. I thought it was just okay until I wore it for a while, but it dawned on me after a few hours. No chance of this one getting nauseating. I have to say though, as much as i love this one, it's like an exaggerated version of being stuck in the 90's, but in a good way. Sort of like if Patrick Nagel created artwork in the 90's. It's like you've stepped in a time machine and you know you've gone back but you can't pin point which decade you're in. Finally CK, you have a hit! Too bad I just can't say the same for this years "One"- Summer flanker.

This is the perfume that made me buy a 3 backup bottles from every perfume that i love because at the time i had it i didn’t know perfumes gets discontinued and i didn’t know this is a season release so when i knew that i’m going to miss this one for ever i learned to buy backups. This is one of the best summer perfumes i had.

I really love this. I finished up my first bottle and never had the chance to get another. It is really sweet and I love it so much. It is kind of woody which is the kind of scent I'm into. Woody but sweet but not overly masculine. Probably my favourite to wear at that time

Tested this and ck one summer today, i was almost a bit shocked at how much i enjoyed this scent, i absolutely love it for what it is, after the huge letdown of eternity intense this was a nice suprice, i cant wait to buy it. Beautiful bottle too.

After about an hour it transforms into a fresher and not so deep version of Dylan Blue. Really really good! Even the performance is better than most of the summer CKs.

One of the better Eternity Summer releases that I've tried. It's a bit heavier and woodier than most of the rest of this line; the violet leaf and more prominent base notes give it a bit more oomph. Projection isn't very strong, and longevity won't go beyond three or four hours unless it's really hot out, but that's pretty expected for this kind of fragrance. It's best suited for casual daytime use, and like most of the newer Eternity Summers, it's dirt-cheap online so there's very little room for wearer's remorse.

Whoa this stuff smells good! Very uplifting in the top, the mid is very fresh, and the base is a musk tinged with hay and sandalwood. Smells better than it sounds! If this was bottled at its base as a Musk I'd buy it just for that. I don't get the coconut note, but no matter I'm very happy I picked up a 3.4oz blind at Khols for 37.50. I picked up the female version as well, but honestly for me this is something I would wear or like smelling on my husband so either way I'm happy.

Tried this new release at the macy's counter... light, enjoyable summer offering but very similar to ck2 (which I already own and love). The coconut is not overly sweet here. Not bad at all, but due to light performance in regards to both longevity (about 3-4 hrs on my skin) and projection, I would recommend staying with ck2, which is already available at discounted prices.

Smells like one-part Eternity and two-parts Eternity Aqua. It lasts 3-4 hours and sits very softly on my skin. Not terrible, but not very good...there are just so many better options out there for Summer. Heck, just pick-up a bottle of CK One Summer for under $20. A big, "Meh" from me.

Stepdown from 2016 edition, skip this one maybe next year will be better

An extremely herbal affair, CK Eternity Summer the 2017 edition is very fresh with the violet leaf asserting itself and being given an earthier vibe with the vetiver and sage that I can only describe as coming incredibly close to replicating the smell of clay in the mud quarries I used to visit in art classes on how pottery is made. The sandalwood and coconut give this a bit of smoky sweetness and despite the negative reviews here, I find this somewhat original and more of a risk taking venture than usual for these seasonal CK releases. 4-6 hours has been the norm in warm weather for me and moderate sillage the first 1-2 hours before becoming soft and more subtle. Not a remarkably attractive scent, but different and unusual and deserves your consideration for at least a test in the department store. It won't appeal to everyone because the violet leaf does clash a bit with the sage in the heart for more sensitive noses and the bergamot quickly gives way after the top and allows the violet leaf and vetiver to dominate.

I am not sure if the majority of the people reviewing are actually reviewing the fragrance after testing it on their skin. If you spray this in the air or on a tester strip, i will admit it is not very pleasant, i smelled this on the tester and was not too fond of it, but i bought it because I like to collect the limited edition summer fragrances, i wore this for the first time today in weather that was 80 degrees plus. It was so different on my skin, its been about 3 hours and i can still smell it, and I really enjoy this, its kind of musky and citrusy on my skin.

I just picked this up at Macy's today, i have some hook ups over there who tell me when the new stuff is coming out, and i am proud to say that I am literally the first own a bottle. Too bad its still cold where i live, I wont get the max aroma from this until June-August when it really heats up. It does have woody sandlewood aroma, its kindof sweet and I smell coconuts, I only sprayed some on my wrist to test it out, with it being cold where I live i havent gotten maximum usage out of it.

Smells rather natural and pleasant for a ck release IMO I smell black currant , a tropical feel and an aquatic nuance. Overall this is very nice for someone new to fragrances for 20 dollars or so. Longevity is 2 hours and projection is poor on me. I am sure the ISO-E super hangs in there for a while longer though. However, this does smell slightly feminine to me and cannot find myself wearing it. For the serious or experienced Fragrance lover this is a pass and nothing special.

Because this is a summer release you can bet that the most prominent notes are probably going to be coconut nectar, bergamot, ginger, and maybe the violet leaf. I'd be knocked over with a pin if the vetiver, jasmine, and musk actually came through. Regardless, I'll give it a sniff when it comes out. Calvin Klein's recent summer releases, since 2014, have been better than the years prior.

Smells really good, reminds me of a summer in the caribbean. bright and fresh. main notes that you can smell are lime, coconut and sage.

Why does every new review that I have today has Aventus as "this perfume reminds me of"? What's going on?

No disrespect, but it smelled like a car air freshener to me :(
