Eternity For Men Summer 2019

Wore this today for the first time out of the shower. And you know what, it's actually not bad at all. I am not easily impressed by fragrances much anymore due to my massive collection, but this one gave me a genuine "Well now, that is surprisingly nice" impression. Nothing absolutely ground breaking of course, but it smells well blended and put-together. And it absolutely shouts "Summertime!" at the top of it's lungs. I could easily see this fragrance being a perfect scent to wear while on a vacation trip, especially if you are near the beach or somewhere tropical. Heck, any summertime activity this would be a great fit for, as it is such a happy and upbeat smell which will blossom in the high heat. Initial blast has a similarity in scent profile (though not identical by any means) to Lacoste L'Homme Intense with a tiny bit of Nautica Voyage in there as well (just a pinch of the Voyage melon vibe). Initial smell is surprisingly pleasant, makes me picture a nice high quality mens fruity shampoo smell (which is not a bad thing IMO). Nothing comes across as sharp or astringent to my nose, and as this drys down it gets a bit of a salty touch to it like the 2017 version did. Nothing extreme at all in regards to the salt, but just just enough to be pleasantly noticed (it's nowhere near as salty as something like D&G Light Blue Eau Intense, so don't worry about that). And from the mid-base it really doesn't change much and basically has a light aquatic salty smell with a touch of fruitiness (Lacoste L'Homme Intense style of fruitiness). Gotta say, the last two summer Eternity flankers (2017 and this one) from CK have been surprisingly decent. Both kinda have that tropical-herbal-beach vibe to them that I seem to enjoy a lot. And they smell different enough to separate themselves from the norm (which is quite rare these days). The 2019 version is far less herbal than the 2017 version, but it is certainly more fruity and still very pleasant. Also note that while I am making comparisons with the 2017 version, these are two totally different fragrances and are in no way redundant to each other (like other brands often do with their summer releases, ie Issey Miyake). I'd recommend checking this one out if you can. Neither the 2017 or the 2019 are performance beasts by any means, but they do smell surprisingly good for being cheap CK fragrances. And as we all know, a lot of the recent CK releases (ie Ck One Summer flankers: 2017, 2018, and 2019) have been major letdowns. So spray liberally and enjoy the smell while it is noticeable. The 2019 version really does feel like the perfect summertime vacation fragrance to make memories with.

Not bad for a Summer frag! The initial blast from a brand new bottle was quite "loud", but it dries down from that within minutes. As it dries down further, I had to keep giving it a couple of whiffs as it reminded me of something... Then, BAM!, it hit me! This is like a much lighter, less cloying version of Versace Blue Jeans. I had to go check it out (love to challenge the nose!) and sure enough, the majority of the notes in EfM2019 are notes present within Blue Jeans. So if you are blind buying, I can confidently say that if you have smelled Blue Jeans, this is SIMILAR with its notes. The "vibe" is just lighter and I would think you can still tell the difference between the two. I even think the Salt and Lime might be one of the things helping this stand apart, gives it that Nautica Voyage "air" about it that someone else mentioned. It has decent longevity and same with the sillage. Nothing over the top, balanced all around except that very initial opening.

The person who commented before me needs a nostril job and a quick IT training how not to post a review 3 times. Also, the content of his review is totally misleading the reader. This fragrance is actually stunning. Another perfect summer release from the Eternity line which almost each year manages to produce an outstanding quality summer fragrance. This is one of the best so far. Not too sweet rather dry an has some sort of a great herbal character to it which makes it interesting and standout. It manages not to push the aquatic theme, rather make it smell like an exotic landscape. Sort of a deserted, hot, sandy countryside with some vegetation. Like from a Western movie. Very good performance also. Utter love from me.

Smells almost exactly like Tommy Bahama St. Barts with better performance! I love St. Barts except the performance is terrible so for me this is great!

Eternity for Men Summer 2019 is a really good smelling CK Eternity for Men summer limited release. Is it original, no. Is it a great performer, no, just an OK which given it is par for the course for Calvins. Eternity for Men Summer 2019 is really good and I think it is similar in quality to the CK One Summer editions. Eternity for Men Summer 2019 is pretty much what you get with Love & Luck with some Tommy Summer 2016. This is the main knock on it, but it does it pretty well. In the open, you do get the bergamot and the lime mixing as well as the sea salt. The sea salt being the most differing note for Eternity to Love & Luck. These three notes are the strongest with the sea salt being the most prominent. In the mid, sage mixes in with the sea salt. All three base notes (amber, musk and cedar) are there, but all are just there as the scent is a skin scent by this point. I want to say there is some driftwood accord in there too. I do not however really notice basil or corriander. Eternity for Men Summer 2019 is not a strong fragrance nor does it perform that great. I mean it is a Calvin and we all know that besides Reveal and Euphoria flankers, most CK fragrances don't have great performance. That said it is a pretty good summer getaway/summer vacation scent that you can refresh on throughout the day. I wore it a few times in Disney World two weeks ago and it worked for me and I am pretty sure I will wear it on my cruise next year. But I can also wear it to work and causally as well too. Overall Eternity for Men Summer 2019 is the best Eternity for Men flanker I have come across. I haven't smelt the Cologne or Parfum which sound like contenders. That said, I think this can be a summer must wear. Would I go out and get it, yes but only if you do not own Love & Luck or a similar fragrance to it already. Had I known that, maybe I wouldn't have bought it. For this, I rate Eternity for Men Summer 2019 a 7 out of 10.

Eternity summer 2019: very very nice. First full bottle I've ever blind bought (only cuz I consulted--I was reading everyone's reviews here while shopping in Marshalls.) Cheap fresh scent? Yes. Something you put on and forget it all day? No. I had to keep sniffing. I really like the balance of the salt, bergamot/lime, and the cedar. And coriander can REALLY send me running away, but here it behaves well. I didn’t really get musk but most of the other notes seem to be present and all working together as team players. I love wearing this as a female, but would really enjoy it on men too. Too bad my man is not a scent guy!

2019 Summer Eternity blasts an electric summery top that I adore. The top experience is unique and generously rewards the buyer. It's just short of "too much" and you can't say that about many summer frags.

Absolut Summer. For my best summer fragrance. :-)

Not a review as such .......... Does anyone know why this (Eternity Summer 2019) has exactly the same packaging as the 2015 version ?? I'm aware that the presented notes are supposedly different, but if anyone has both, are they in fact the same fragrance simply reissued ... & more importantly, how on earth is one supposed to distinguish between the 2 if buying online (or in-store for that matter), when the boxes look identical and CK never add a visible date to the summer releases anyway !? Yours .... confused ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update ! I can now confirm that the 2015 & the 2019 editions ARE in fact 2 different fragrances (despite the confusing almost identical packaging) ! Here's how to know which version you are looking at / thinking of buying or indeed, smelling ! If you look carefully at the packaging, although the graphics look identical on first impressions, you will see that the font for the word summer is in upper case (SUMMER) on one box. This is the 2019 version .. & in lower case (summer) on the 2015 version. Also, the Calvin Klein logo is in upper case (CALVIN KLEIN) & below the 'eau de toilette spray' wording, on the 2019 version .... & in lower case, save for the initials (Calvin Klein) & above the 'eau de toilette spray' wording, on the 2015 version. So there you have it ... now you know which version you're looking at, though goodness only knows why CK decided to use the same colour graphics / illustration on both versions ... perhaps they printed too many boxes for the 2015 version minus the lettering !

This one is a little hard to describe. Basically from the top I can only say “beach” - but not literally. Opens really freshly in a non-citrus way. It smells like the colors of the beach approaching sunset - a peachy-pink airy scent - peaches and vanilla cream mixed with faint herbs - salt is perhaps there too, keeping it fresh and preventing the herbs from taking over completely. This dries down into a more herbally grounded (young sage, cedar making its way thru) yet still light scent as the notes transition to amber. Without this, I think the fragrance would be more of a unisex scent and actually it would probably float away in 30 minutes. Eventually in the end it comes together and all notes come in and go out to paint a picture of a cedar tree on a cliff overlooking a sandy beach, bathed in amber sunlight just before a sunset begins. This picture would probably on the west coast USA - like Southern California. It is an optimistic yet grounded fragrance that simply works in its portrayal of summer. Average silage and average longevity

I’m greatly disappointed with this one. I sprayed 8 sprays on my body and it was gone after 10 minutes? Am I missing something?I’m not even joking around here. It’s also 90$...Why would I spend so much for something that’s gone within minutes. I can’t even give this a 1 out of 10. It’s hard to give an honest rating when you can’t smell it after 10 minutes. And don’t give me that nonsense about only 10 minutes on my skin bs, and that it will last longer on someone else’s. I sprayed this on my GF and best friend that was with me, and gone within 10 minutes on all 3 of us. Unless it was a bad bottle, but I don’t think a Calvin Klein factory outlet that sells their own product, sells bad bottles.. Buyer beware..From what I smelled, it was good, but gone in 10 minutes, remember that.

I'm grateful to JonesyBrum for clearing up the packaging question, I didn't buy it in store because I was adamant this was the 2015 release, it baffles me why they thought it would be a good idea to package them identically. This is a really very, very good fragrance, I'm not always struck by the Eternity Summer releases, but this one I loved, this is aquatic and herbal, the salt note is excellent, on my skin I got a fruity note, not exactly what I'd class as citrus, less sharp. Longevity was pretty good, sillage was moderate. All in all, very good.
