Eternity Now For Men

I agree with those who view this as unisex. If you like sweet gourmands I think you'll enjoy the first half hour or so. After that it doesn't seem to be as complex, which isn't uncommon, but I also begin to pick up a "chemical" quality, though it's not that strong (unlike some other recent CK scents I've tried). It comes across as a "synthetic" wood note. I don't understand why some "cheapo" companies can avoid this and yet still have good longevity (for example, Insurrection Wild II or whatever that Pure Havane type scent is called), but CK can't. Do they want this as their "house note" or are they too lazy to formulate properly, or is it just the cheapest way to go? Anyway, it goes in a cherry pipe tobacco direction, but it feels like the sweetness prevents that from ever developing, if that makes sense. A woman who thinks Pure Havane is too masculine might like this one. Perhaps I've just sampled too many of these and my standards have been raised substantially, but it's not a "bad" scent if you are seeking this sort of thing. I am, but I've already got ones I prefer. I'm not sure if I'll keep my 1 ounce bottle or swap it, but I'm leaning towards the latter. Note that I got none of original Eternity for Men here, though of course they share some ingredients, as is the case for 99% of other "masculine" designers. UPDATE: That wood-ish note lasted more than 24 hours, but it's a bit screechy, probably because all the other notes were gone. Again, why load up a scent with such an irritating aroma chemical in a composition like this? I would have liked it without this harsh note - "addition by subtraction" is a lesson they apparently need to learn!

Late to the game, I got this recently on a pretty good deal: $25 for 100ml, which turns out to be just fair. It's a very smooth and enjoyable scent all the way through from the very opening. Tonka, vanilla, coconut is the overall theme with ginger, cedar and patchouli around the edges. I'm not sure I can tell there's star fruit in here, but there's a sort of freshness that tames this otherwise crazy sweet scent along with the help of cedar both in the heart and in the base. I think it's safe to say that the scent itself doesn't evolve much and stays somewhat linear. Longevity and sillage are only slightly better than your average CK due to the amped up sweet notes that push out. This is by no means a formal scent--this is the kind you put on when you're going out for a brunch or meeting friends for a drink. I'd categorize this as a cool-weather scent, so pretty much good to wear anytime in the spring and fall, and fine for cooler summer evenings, but I don't necessarily put this on in the dead heat of the summer as I'd imagine the sweetness would overwhelm me, and others around as much as they can smell this. Lastly, I have to say there's a certain elegance to the ultimately simple bottle presentation. I have a feeling that the round edges mimic the smoothness of the scent itself, and the color of the juice resembles its vibe. All in all, I think it's a worthwhile buy at the heavily discounted price, but will I buy another bottle? Perhaps; I'll see if I can find something better in the same category when this runs out. Also a side note, my bottle is made in the US.

I would consider this a gourmand of sorts because of the warm, sweet milky coconut; the vanilla, tonka bean and the licorice-y spiciness coming from the star anise. i don't really smell any fruitiness from the star fruit as listed in the note breakdown here on fragrantica. I really like this scent, I've never smelled coconut done like this. This to me is not a tropical, bright summery coconut but a darker, lightly spiced coconut whose scent evokes more of a late spring early fall vibe. I can't see this being a dead of summer scent, its too cozy smelling. Another facet of this scent I'm really digging is the subtle but noticeable patchouli in the late drydown; this earthy facet augments the warm spiced feel of this fragrance. Lastly, is the performance. i give this a 6 out of 10. i get decent performance from this, about 6 hrs and probably 2 or 3 good hrs of projection. All the people who are saying the longevity is terrible, i dont know what to say, i have really oily skin to start with and i moisturize the areas i apply fragrance to. I rarely find a fragrance - including the cheapies - that i dont get a minimum of 4 to 5 hours of longevity. I am not wowed by this fragrance but it is a strong like. its great layered with fruity fragrances for a brighter more tropical vibe.

Have you ever smelled a fragrance and thought to yourself, "Now THIS would be MY SIGNATURE scent ... if only I didn't have lots of other fragrances!" That's how I feel about CK Eternity Now. If I didn't have 60 other fragrances, this would be my signature scent. Something about it is so familiar but it's wholly unique for a men's fragrance. It's sweet, uniquely fresh, and clean. When I wear it, I feel confident and approachable. I feel friendly and inviting without being inappropriate or trying too hard. It's very sweet, but it's fresh. It smells like a shampoo or hair conditioner but doesn't smell "soapy" which is a good thing. It's completely linear with this coconut nectar note being the dominating accord. This coconut nectar is the scent of the juice and not the flesh. A woman could easily wear this thing, it's that versatile. It's an every season type of fragrance. The vanilla cuts through arctic air of winter and the coconut nectar keeps things fruity and light in the summer. I highly recommend this. Some days I wish for simpler times when I only had 1 or 2 fragrances. If I still lived in those times, Eternity Now for men would definitely be 1 of those 2 fragrances.

I really like it. It's my favorite Calvin Klein flanker. Coconut and vanilla that thankfully avoids being suntan lotion. It is sweet but my chemistry somehow tones down sweet scents so I can enjoy it but others may not. You know, when to wear it is a good question. It is probably too sweet to wear out in the heat (summer) yet with the coconut that's exactly when it should be worn. So, I'd say wear it in the summer when you expect to be indoors most of the time. Works where I'm at (the South) because as much as we all like to talk about being outside during the summer down here, the truth is many, many Southerners spend the ungodly hot summers in the A/C. If I'm outside I'll be on the jet ski or in the lake and won't bother with fragrance anyways. So there you go. It's an indoors summer scent. Or, a summer night scent depending on the heat.

i fall in love with the scent instantly.. very addictive and great scent.. i love the combination of coconut and vanilla.. brilliant! unfortunately, i just love how it smell.. the projection, longevity and sillage is bad! really 100% bad.. it will stay on your skin and clothes like an hour or less and poof! disappear like a magic! smell nothing after that..like 0% nothing left! why CK, why?? Calvin Klein released a very addictive and great fragrance this time but the performance just sucks.. unbelievable! i would purchase a bottle if it's perform like the brand.. i mean Calvin Klein is such a huge brand.. very let down and disappointed.. i know some people would still buy it just because they love how the perfume smell even it is weaker in performance.. but for me it's not worth it! 10/10 for the scent 0/10 for the projection and longevity

Like "mikestro" skillfully wrote below, here the coconut vanilla blend is warm and spicy. The woody aspect of the scent is subdued but present throughout it's life. I find Eternity Now an innovative but coherent and probably the most successful entry in the Eternity line, considering the likes of Aqua, Air, or the summer editions. I use this fragrance in the spring and summer, day or night, I find it's performance to be astoundingly good, where you get at least 4 hours of moderate projection and at least 12 hours as a skin scent. I also use this perfume during the winter doldrums after the shower as a reminder of the better times to come. I wholeheartedly can recommend this perfume to all those lazy sunbathers who are into coconut fragrances, but desire a warm, woody, manly twist into it.

It doesn't smell at all as the original Eternity..and for my nose it is a very good thing. I don't like Eternity much, but this flanker I love. In fact it's the nicest out of all CK's I've smelled so far (together with Shock). Yes it might be generic, that's not always a bad thing tho'..I think it's fresh easy going and shouldn't offend many ppl. A really nice summer/spring frag for me and I'm a bit surprised that it hasn't recieved more love. My first 30ml bottle is almost done for so I'm currently ordering a new 100ml. For the price I found online I will be paying 300 sek for 100 ml, it's about $32..and for that price this frag is an absolute no brainer in my book! Ok it has not the longevity you would want, (even tho' I've had far worse) but for that price I can live with it.

Gives le Beau a run for the money! Best not to be wearin' this in any situation where you want to be taken seriously, this is not a commanding scent but a calming coconut. They even changed the Eternity bottle for this one and this one only, with a rather unfortunate cheap-feeling plastic cap instead of the ready-to-spray classic open trigger. Side note: This fragrance was used as a part of a pop art exhibit in 2015 - Sylvie Fleury created a large green neon sign "ETERNITY NOW" in the brand's font and everything, to sit atop the Bass Art Museum in Miami. Simple and effective, she claimed it was to evoke the feeling of the two words and not much to do as a promotion of the company. Kind of like Andy Warhol's Campbell's Tomato soup can. You gotta look it up to see what I mean.

Just got this yesterday and I legit don’t understand how some people can call this a “meh” flanker or just overall mediocre. It’s smells smooth and relaxed; it has a great trifecta of sweet, tropical, and creamy but with a manly twist. It’s honestly—now—my go-to for these hot summer days. It makes the day feel and smell like a beach day or a vacation. I’m not much of a “sweet & creamy” scent kinda guy. The only creamy scent I’ve ever liked is the Chanel Allure Homme but THIS, this is creamy tropical coconut magic! I HIGHLY recommend you blind buy this if you fuck with coconut. Scent: 9/10 (the coconut 🤌🏼) Longevity: 4-6 hours Lasts 1-2 hours during a sweaty workout if you’re looking to smell good at the gym and after the gym. Silage is within arms length

I love this scent. It is magical and reminds me of my childhood. It is sweet like cotton candy at first glance, then dries down to a sugary lemon. It is a gourmand frag for sure. There is a drink called a "chocolate cake" where after you take the shot, you bite into a lemon covered in sugar and it tastes almost exactly like chocolate cake. This stuff smells just like the first second you taste the cake in it. The bad side is that it doesn't last for more than 2 hours. I use this as a bedtime frag to cover up the disgusting smell I make from being an alcoholic. 2 sprays and my gal thinks I sprayed on Christian Audiger's 1958 and not sank 1/2 a bottle of rum. Win!

It's 3:34am and your weary self just walked into a 24hr donut shop. The donut guy is in the back baking fresh donuts. Ahhhh the aroma of the entire place! Well, that's what you get with CK's Eternity Now. If you like the smell of hot, fresh baked donuts in the morning, then this fragrance is for you. It smells like vanilla-coconut custard. Not synthetic, not like suntan oil or shampoo or spray. Excellent value and a rare scent among men's fragrances. You can wear it all years long. The sillage is weak, but not too weak and the longevity is low to moderate. Definitely worth having a bottle.

Much more summer edition scent than the Eternity Summer series. Coconut and vanilla scent. I do detect a slight saltiness on my skin and The aqua note is not voted, but to me it smells like the ocean. At the base, Eternity for Men is clearly there, and it hasn't strayed from the series. Like watching distant iridescent clouds on the beach on holiday in a sunny summer. An optimistic scent, I don't think about work at all, all I hear is the warm sun and the sound of the waves. The scent of unpretentious freedom. Recommended for holidays when you don't want to do anything.

Believe it or not, this is not only my cheapest fragrances but also one of my most complimented. The coconut in the opening is excellent and the dry down with vanilla and tonka bean is to die for. Such a smooth, sweet, and somehow both cozy and playful scent that has good projection and decent longevity. I also think this is a very versatile scent that is for both night and day as well as every season except potentially winter depending on your personal preference. I really struggle to find a major flaw in this fragrance especially with the price—would 100% recommend!

My uncle had this years back and I was looking for something cheap, versatile and handsome. I thought of this and bought it at Walmart for 30 bucks. This is heavily slept on, I believe it’s discontinued but you can find it easily. It smells oriental, coconut, mango, vanilla and it has that balsamic vibe. Very pleasant smell, leaning on the masculine side. Very versatile, too weak for winter. Great quality for a cheapie. Solid fragrance, no compliments but I guarantee you’ll smell pleasant

I feel like you have to let this one macerate, as I found out after letting it sit for a about year it's gotten alot more well rounded and smoother not that it was bad when I first got it though. It's a gorgeous powdery tonka bean and coconut scent with subtle sweetness from the vanilla, it's great for most seasons in my opinion. The performance is not terrible, I get moderate to good longevity and projection but I'm also an over sprayer. Eternity Now is a love for me.

amazing/beautiful scent,i get the carambola,coconut,citrus and patch from this.delicious id say, nice bottle too...simplistic, good for summer and both genders but the one big prb is longevity, you gotta respray every two hours, its really nice and fun to wear this on a casual day, good for vacation perhaps.i got a 7ml mini, may be will get the full bottle.they should make an intense version

This does not smell like Axe Fever. I have both and I've reviewed both. Axe Fever has this powdery, dusty "dirt" smell with a topload of citrus. No way similar -- AT ALL -- to Eternity Now for Men. Nothing mainstream market smells like CK EN for Men. The only thing I could say that Eternity Now smells like is a coconutty, vanillic hair conditioner. *See my review below from January 18 2016*

I love the scent. Fresh vanilla and ginger toned down with the coconut water. Just a hint of the original DNA in there. Great quick summer fragrance. It has a nice trail when sprayed fresh. Longevity is weak for me. Moderate sillage. Priced cheap enough to allow for multiple sprays throughout day. My wife enjoys it. I would say it could be unisex but just a hint more masculine.

This is a good one! Powdery tropical coconut with liquored starfruit, vanilla and tonka. Very summery and pleasantly fresh, sticks to the skin and clothes for at least 5hrs. Definite dupe for Le Beau by JPG, and a respectable 'cousin' of Creed's Virgin Island Water. Will definitely have this in the summer rotation.
