Fantastic green chypre fragrance with wonderfully radiant galbanum-hemp opening, beautiful floral heart and leathery-bitter oakmoss-castoreum base. Very French, very elegant, totally unisex, long lasting and not too loud. You can feel that care and enthusiasm for the subject matter went into this fragrance line. Nothing seems to be sloppy or chumming up to fleeting fashion trends. Of the 7, I admire 2, like 4, and only one leaves me rather indifferent, Vladimir. A good rate I would say - Bravo Mme. Roitfeld! And by the way, no on smokes a joint here, do not worry!

The initial tabacco-like blast (remotely connected to cannabis, but not the true thing) is almost nauseating. But when you get past that, after maybe 10 to 15 minutes, it calms down and soft leathery notes come to the fore. As the scent develops, powdery iris and mellow woods come into play, too. Interesting fragrance - it's like getting to know someone who appears rude and unwelcoming at first but then you realise how kind-hearted they are...

Totally expected to love this, absolutely loathed it. The opening smelt like the morning after a house party, imagine you've just walked into the room where everyone has been sitting smoking and stubbing our their cigs and joints in pot pourri or in half drunk cans of lager. The middle is identical to those cheap jelly blocks of air freshener that came in a flimsy plastic rhomboid and were prevalent in the 1980s..... Perhaps you've just sprayed something to cover up the fag-ash stink before your mum and dad get home. I'm a fan of unconventional perfume and a fan of tobacco as a note I was absolutely not a fan of this.

70s style... Huge doses of galbanum, and oakmoss forming that heat sour era of the 70s. It has as well some earth notes like the one in the plant nursery with touch of green young or baby jasmines. 70s Blend at max. Ok.
