Carla Fracci

This is another noble scent ;o)

Carla Fracci is a pretty and delicate enough white floral fragrance-in parfum. I don't feel like a woman-swan in it, unfortunately. I do feel that it is balanced, sweet, but not as sweet as more popular big white florals... Tuberose is very blended here-the ylang ylang isn't too strong either, although it does its work.I detect freesia making this seem cleaner than a "tropical flower" fragrance. Lily is the strongest note for me-I have decided that I am not a lily-lover. Not bad, I'm wearing it now, and I feel pleasant and feminine-This is noble and soft, but not for everyone. I almost think I would like EDP more-a little bit of sillage, and fading might make this fragrance more dynamic. For now, if I wear it with a bit of Egyptian Musk it works for me.

I like this sweet floral very much but it's way too sheer for me. All I get are the topnotes for 10 minutes or so and then it totally disappears. I've got the EDP so not sure why so weak.

A great white floral fragrance, leaning tropical. I simply love how easy this is to wear. Good performance too.

30. october 2013 Review for EDP version. This is indeed a very lovely floral fragrance, but it doesn ́t last at all on my skin sadly. Jasmine, strong freesia note and musky lilly is all i can smell. I can also detect ylang-ylang in the drydown, but i don ́t smell any tuberose at all. And nothing smoky as well. I also smell the vanilla, but this is not a sweet vanilla of nowdays, this is a bitter raw vanilla, not overpowering at all, just a slightest hint of it. But it doesn ́t last at all! I have tried it several times and hoping it would be longer lasting in colder weather but it is not. Up to 2-3 hrs, sadly. I don ́t know if Parfum version would have stronger sillage and lasting power i would love to try it as well.

A very fine fragrance indeed. Carla Fracci is a bit smoky, sweet fragrance based on a strong vanilla and musk note. A bit powdery, I still consider is quite from being delicate. It is not overpowering, but I know of more subtle fragrances. The fragrance is particularly strong in tuberose and freesia, and as it develops, lily gets more and more to say in it. I love lilies, but the combination of three strong notes like this, plus the sweet base, is a bit of an overkill for me. Too much of a good thing. I thing it is a fragrance I need to be in a right mood in to appreciate- it can be either quite comforting and soothing, but I wish there was this little something to break the sweetness.

I bought my first bottle of Carla Fracci Carla when it was being promoted at Nordstroms in the early 2000’s. I was instantly in love with this perfume. I would love to be able to own another bottle of this but they are hard to find and when you do it is so expensive. Why do they discontinue so many wonderful fragrances like Gucci Envy, Laura Biagiotti’s Venenzia and Prescriptives Calyx (not to be confused with Clinique’s Calyx), Valentino’s Rock n’ Rose and I could go on. My heart breaks every time they take away lovely scents or reformulate. Tresor was my signature scent in the 1990’s but then one year it didn’t smell the same on me. It had changed and I was devastated.

When I’am angry, I use perfume Carla Fracci by Carla Fracci and irritate proceed. It is very woman's, permanent smell. I feel in it sweet, white, tropical flowers. In background unreel delicate musk. CF are noble, brilliant. Piquancies and warm add cinamon - really, I feel cinamon. Using CF I felt a swan from ballet of Tschaykovky - quiet, nice, beautiful. Women-swan can not be angry.

Finally I purchased this fragrance and, I love it! It's a sweet floral but not too sweet. The tinge of oriental notes warm it up to perfection!

Really, very feminine, delicate, classic - modern. It very pleases me floral - oriental lightness. Beautifull!
