L'Inizio Pour Homme

***Update*** So yeah, Carlo Corinto L'Inizio is one of those wierd fragrances where you MUST spray some out and let it "Maturate" for atleast 3 weeks to a month for it to bloom and have any smell at all. Its honestly kinda CA-RAAAZY how much this juice has changed over-time! Its become quite strong and very Powdery, and ambery with some freshness from the Sage and Citrus notes. The Vanilla is NOT a Gourmand Vanilla and just adds to the amber back-bone of the fragrance. Its also quite "Retro/Classic", I think its bc of that "Powdery accord" which Im surprised others haven't mentioned here bc its pretty hard to miss! Theres also this SUUUPER pleasant, Sharp/Freshness that peeks through the powdery amber base which really has me quite intrigued and is very addictive, and so I find myself spraying a bit on my arm sometimes even when I have something else on as my SOTD just so I can sniff my arm and enjoy it throughoutthe day. It now has pretty good performance lasting on skin a good 7 to 8 hours and much longer on clothes with moderate projection. And YES! The review beneath me is very accurate as Im sure that @Roman86 initially sprayed his brand-new bottle and so he got ATROCIOUS performance and even about ZERO smell at all. Im hoping that @Roman86 below me kept his bottle and gave it another shot later on down the road bc Im sure he would be truley pleasantly surprised at how much the fragrance has changed since hed first sprayed his new bottle. ----‐------------------------------------------------ So, what little I can smell seems nice (I think) but it wears so damn weak, weak, WEAK! like I can barely smell it at all! And then it's completly gone after 2 hours! Seriously tho, this is just to faint to be normal! 😅, I applied 3 sprays on the same spot on the back of my hand, yet STILL could barely smell it at all.. That is crazy! Id first seen L'Inizio on Amazon, a 1 oz for $17. I almost pulled the trigger many times, but then I found the same bottle for $10 so I got 2 of them. And lemme say that even at $10 its a total rip-off! LMAO! SO YEEEP! There goes that DAMNED Reformulation Goblin (AGAIN) Jackin' our fragrances up! 👺 whatta JERK!

I blind ordered this a few years ago because I saw others had said it reminded them of Minotaur and Nicole Miller. Minotaur was one I wore to death back in it’s day but the newer reformulation is a faint reminder of what it once gave the world. L’Inizio smelled weak and seemed to fade super fast when I bought it so I tossed it in a drawer filled with blind disappointments. Coincidentally I found a bottle of Nicole Miller at Macy’s Backstage for like $10 last summer and it was still closer to Minotaur than the version I have now which barely lasts 20 mins. I was digging in the drawer of lost dreams not long ago, saw this and sprayed it on. Holy crap! 🤩 I really aged like top shelf champagne. It was loud, bombastic and lasted almost all day on my skin like Minotaur used to. Sprayed them on each arm and other than L’Inizio overpowering it in every way possible they are almost identical scent wise. It made me start trying others by CC like Rouge which is almost a ringer for the OG formulation of Cool Water before it became so watered down. HIGHLY recommend L’Inizio if Minotaur and Nicole were once your groove and you’re trying like Stella to get it back. Just don’t forget to shelter it (or Rouge) in the cool darkness a good long while before you truly judge it.

This is a great little woody gem! Although I haven't tried Roma or Minotaur, I can say that this fragrance is fantastic and unique on its own. My skin really loves this scent, and I get excellent performance from it—over 10 hours on my skin and several days on my clothes. I bought it blind, and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. However, I do have one small complaint, but it doesn’t concern the fragrance itself. The black plastic ring around the sprayer feels a bit flimsy and loose. Other than that, I consider it to be a solid fragrance, and I would definitely recommend checking it out. Just a note: the black plastic collar is not part of the cap and is not meant to be removed; only the small orange top is supposed to come off.

Beautiful scent!!! Kinda Polo Romance Silver but miles away in quality and projection. A underated vintage gem!! If you have the cosmic lucky, shoot it!!

It is hard to exactly describe this one. It is like a lemon sherbet with a woody amber. It starts off with a fairly zesty sort of a citrus with sweet woods in the background and after a while as the citrus fades, there is the woody amber. It is not overly strong but hangs in quite well in terms of longevity. All in all it is not a remarkable fragrance, but it certainly is good.
