Danzatoria

This does not smell like Le Parfum. & I’m glad. I own that also. Le Parfum is a very woody sweet honey jasmine floral. This is not woody or sweet or overtly floral in that way like that ... I did not want a woody note. The patchouli is very well blended here & just adds to the creaminess & overall subtle warmth ... What can I say, this is weird at first ... but let it bloom on your skin. It’s unique. Let the pimento settle down ... Anyway, now it’s my favorite thing in the world currently ... It’s like what I wanted that I didn’t know I wanted. It achieves that elegant creamy waxy lactonic vanilla white floral skin musk scent that’s so elusive in the perfume world to me. I just wanted to smell elegant, clean, fresh, warm, creamy, like a human. This is pretty unisex to me but is not masculine. The artistry of a unisex perfume. The feminine florals pull through at times to push it just enough into a scent which works for me who mostly likes to wear feminine florals ... It’s not like anything I’ve smelled yet. & I couldn’t have guessed it from the notes exactly, so do test. It takes me to like a yacht with elegant cream leather seats, a warm breeze. There’s no leather, and I’m not even all that fond of leather, but it’s like the creaminess gives me nuances of conditioned buttery leather / suede ... like a classic car. It never gets too sweet. I was worried with sweetness being listed up at the top of the notes pyramid. It’s not. Just a touch of warmth, sweetness. I just keep wanting to inhale my wrist. It’s calming but not in a candle, detergent way that so many scents tend to veer towards with vanilla & musk ... It’s expertly blended, so not much individual notes. And that to me smells expensive and classy. It makes me think of luxury: luxury leather bag, a beautiful hand cream in the leather bag, white, cream, buttery. It’s sexy in that way. The pimento makes it a touch fresh, lively, so that it doesn’t just feel old or powdery. It’s creative and smart. And that note is kind of sexy on me. It’s done right here. It dries down overnight into a beautiful soft soapy clean white floral which I love. Lasts on me 12+ hours as a skin scent towards the end. I’ve ordered two more samples from this house. I’m now a fan of the house. Can’t wait to try more. UPDATE: The pimento is “pimento berry” which is allspice. Now understanding the note, it’s warm, spicy & earthy. Agree with reviewer above, although I think it’s a year round perfume. It’s a fall winter perfume for me also. The warm spice will come through in the cold. It’s my daily signature. It’s very unique. Unlike anything else I own. And it’s warm spicy but also makes me feel clean & fresh with a slight unisex masculine edge. Normally I’m into very femme things for myself, however this is so beautiful that it’s perfectly unisex, fresh, modern, clean. I disagree with most other comments here. It’s not old fashioned in least but maybe a nod to the vintages with some of the notes. Spicy Floral is my fave combo. And pretty unusual. To be not too sweet, fresh and warm spicy at same time is masterful.

Not your average white floral! The playful peppery opening (pink pepper and pimento) manages to tingle but not singe your nose hairs, thankfully. It develops into a soft ylang-ylang-LOTV-jasmine-orange blossom blend made more sensual by vanilla, musk and trace amounts of patchouli. Makes you feel like skipping down the street if not dancing. The peppery character keeps it zingy, while the white floral heart keeps it feeling very feminine. Overall this wears like a musky halo. Not choking or beast mode at all. I could imagine this blooming beautifully on a summer night dancing by the beach. Sillage is moderate and longevity is moderate to high.

This is such a sensuous and warm fragrance. The most prominent note is definitely the ylang-ylang, giving it that rubbery sensation (that sounds super weird but I love it). Sprinkled on is the pink pepper and pimento almost giving it a tingling feel to the fragrance. I must say I don’t love it sniffing it up close but the sillage is amazing. The first time I wore it I couldn’t smell it at all but throughout the day got whiffs of something that smelled AMAZING. I started smell everyone around me (as any normal person do 😅) just to discover it was me all along. This will be one of my most worn perfumes this summer for sure!

I love love love this! I recently bought a discovery set from Carner and I am positively surprised by all the scents I have tried so far. Danzatoria feels luxurious, elegant and a tad sexy. It opens warm, floral and has a zing to it. To me it smells very feminine and makes me think of sunshine. It turns softer later but remains on hair & clothes for a long time (12 h)! I wore it to a night out and got compliments and could smell it on my sweater the next day.

On me Danzatoria opens strong with piquant peppery notes softened by a woodsy undercurrent. While I would still describe it as a unisex scent, at this point I find Danzatoria leans a tad masculine. When the peppers slowly dissipate, the white florals round out the scent to turn it into a true unisex dream. The dry down is an elegant musky skinscent with a hint of sweetness that lingers for hours and hours.

Currently obsessed with this fragrance house.I own 2 of their fragrances and I want them all! About Danzatoria...it is soo peppery but not the way some Montale perfumes are...so elegant made I feel so good wearing this.From the white florals I pick up jasmine more and the drydown is patchouli and musk..not vanilla.Lasts 7-8 hours on me and people ask me what I wear (men and women)

The best and I am totally in to this. A zesty perfume but very modest and sensual. Great longlivety too! What’s not to love.

What a cozy, warm, and elegant scent — it makes me feel confident and sassy.

I love how Carner fragrances always smell exactly like the description here, to me at least, but on the other hand they are so well-blended that you need a very good nose to distinguish any stand alone note. I do have trouble with the name though, I can't picture any dancing when I smell it, the website description shows ballet shoes and mentions "flirtatious dances", I don't get that at all. It's not flirty, the brand has others that could go by that name, I see a very confident woman in a white perfectly-fitted dress, sipping a cocktail in an elegant bar near the beach, minding her own business :) The opening is definitely peppery with ylang-ylang, such an interesting combination, though the pepper note fades away as it blends into the skin. I do get a whiff of rubber - not the burnt tyres sort of smell, but rather sweet, very hard to describe and it fades away once it dries so no issue for me. From the middle notes, I only get some very natural jasmin (I have a jasmine on my balcony, it's spot on), not the synthetic type we usually get in so many perfumes these days. Not a lot of vanilla in the dry-down but the white musk is there with just a tint of patchouli. A couple of hours in on the skin and all the notes are still there, they become just more blended and balmy as time passes. The peppery part comes and goes as time passes, I don't know how they do that! This is definitely not a safe blind-buy, I can see why some accords might make people hate it but overall it is quite unique to me, not your average designer fragrance in any way (and I've smelled quite a lot). It does lean more feminine but my husband loved it on himself at first sniff. You have to enjoy sweet spicy perfumes to like this as it has almost nothing fresh in it although the overall impression is that it does smell clean. I picture light colored clothes in a relaxed atmosphere, but it can also work in more formal events. Just like most Carner creations, it's not a bomb when it comes to projection and that is why I like it, it gives you an aura of about half a meter around but will not leave a trail. But it does last long as a skin scent, I sprayed it in the evening after a shower (no lotion added) and in the morning the balmy musk is still there. For sure a good spring scent but also for summer if it is not too hot and you want something different than the usual freshie. I'd test it out in winter too as it might surprise me, I hope I can hold on to my tiny sample until then.

Completely agree with Ms._45's review down below. This is one of the creamiest scents I've ever experienced. Super smooth, round, creamy ylang ylang. Very prominent ylang ylang throughout the entire scent's lifetime, I would say its basically a ylang soliflore. Has spices on the top, vanilla and musk on the bottom, ylang throughout. Not sure what kind of musk Jordi uses, but its a very skillful usage, with a restrained hand so that it never becomes cloying or obtrusive. Seems like a high quality musk, although its obviouisly synthetic. Well blended, all notes merge together into a single accord. Very linear, but the smell is so good that it doesn't matter. Perhaps it can be boring to some, but that's a personal taste thing. A bit reminiscent of spray sunscreen, something like banana boat, which gives this kind of a tropical, beachside vibe. It's interesting though, as this scent is way too dense and creamy to wear in hot weather. It's like a cold weather tropical scent. Definitely has a lotion like quality to it, both in the actual scent profile and in the scent texture. This scent's wearing experience is so smooth its really akin to actually putting on lotion. I swear my skin's more hydrated after spraying this, but obviously that's just in my mind. Highly underrated, blind buy safe. Extremely cheap from discounters, making this an extremely good value proposition. Easy wear, unoffensive, unisex leaning feminine. Big fan of this house. Edit: Got kinda boring over time

This is a perfect summer scent. It’s clean and fresh with a spiciness. I get the white florals and the yellow florals but everything is covered in the pink pepper. Once in dry down I get the musk and everything settles with it coming out with the hints of freshness. Perfect for the late spring and summer as a day scent. I really do like this, it’s different. Carner Barcelona is a wonderful house and I usually like everything they put out. Recommended 9/10 can fade quickly if not lotioned up!

Summer might not be the best season to wear it. I have close to no memories of trying it except the first impression which was: nice but repetitive. A lot of pink pepper, bergamot, pimento. Flowers. A lot to love but it did not bubble me within. I will return to it in autumn.

Smells like a more toned down and lighter (perhaps even summery) TF Oud Wood. Going to try layering these and see what the effect is. Overall beautiful scent.

Much more airy and less sweet Joop homme. Overall not so vulgar and more wearable

Pepper Bomb! It hits you first time you try it and you might enjoy it for a while, soon enough though you get fed up and get headaches 😅 ... after that peppery episode though you get mostly floral note. Not bad but nothing originale though in this crowded fragrance universe!

Oh damn... how do I describe it? Not for me. It’s a bit sweet and fizzy, but then there is this note that I just can’t stand.. washed it away. Gives some old fashioned vibe. The worst from the brand in my opinion..

Another magnificent elixir from this brand that fascinates me more and more, Danzatoria... dance of love between two lovers, well what can I say, for a lover like me of fresh and sensual perfumes at the same time I couldn't help but like it! I love its spicy explosion, freshly spiced at the right point supported by a magnificent and sensual ylang, by a fresh orange flower, a perfect combination, I also see it well on a man, because I also like its spicy vibe on men's skin . I almost feel like I smell a citrus-spiced unisex cologne, fresh and floral at the right point, as it warms up, sweeter, vanilla notes come out, a beautiful olfactory masterpiece for me, I smell more and more of a fresh spring orange blossom, very happy to owning it a new love blossomed!

This is fizzy orange blossom wonderful scent, on my skin it develops a kind of soapiness which character I have found only in the most expensive and luxurious orange blossom soaps, in fact I have been searching for this exact aroma feeling in scents for years. It absolutely came as a surprise. Yes, this would be perfect in the summer days, or the summer nights, whenever you want to feel that particular soapy freshness in a very elegant way. Bonus point, having in mind what are the tipycall fragrances the majority of the people would wear at that period (summer time) this fragrance would make anyone who wears it unique. Obviously, the summer is almost to an end now, I would miss to get a bottle now, but next spring and summer, definitely.

I'm wow'ed by this fragrance house! This is my 4th Carner scent to test and I went into it with a negative bias. Some of the notes in this are ones I do not do well with. (Pimento usually ruins it for me, but not here!) Forward to now: I'm in scent heaven. What has been wafting off on me since the first spray has been an absolute delight. I'm on hour 3 now and the florals are sultry, redolent a bit spicy and utterly seductive. On me it leans feminine, but just a toe over. I can see this as being easily unisex with chemistry. Huge win! Carner is making my wallet weep.

This smells like my Aunt. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but that familiarity is definitely there. Side note: There is a note in this that is very strong. I like that singular note, and it that comes through against the supporting notes. I think it’s Lily-of-the-valley or Jasmine. I’m not trained enough to know, but there’s definitely a prominent note here.

When I smell this, I think Marilyn Monroe, nostalgia, old beauty, blonde hair, strong female energy. White flowers wrapped up in a warm fuzzy cashmere blanket. Powdery, dense. I don't smell much orange blossom, it is more of a tuberose jasmine combination on a musky spicy base. Sillage and longevity are very good. Quite similar to J'adore Infinissime.

I got a sample of this based on one review that said this smells like wearing white linen pants to a dinner date on the beach. Unfortunately this one did not do it for me. Now I like to save this for when I really mean it (because I think it is an overused description for perfumes that people don’t like) but this smells like a grandma.

I want to say I like this, but it barely shows up on my skin except for spiciness and does not last long. Just when I think I can get a whiff of what this perfume has to offer, it's gone. So strange.

It smells classy and a bit unapproachable. Not a summer scent IMO it’s best in spring&early fall. Not an everyday/signature scent material but still nice for some occasions.

I can sniff out the faint white florals but on my skin it's straight up mildew.
