The ozonic leather opening of this is simply gorgeous. It does become just the tiniest bit aldehydic as it dries down, which is totally fine with me. Once dry, the saffron and other general spiciness comes forward and balances that fresh note and the leather. I truly adore saffron and, in my opinion, this is saffron done right. You can distinctly pick out the saffron, as it's not masked by other strong, spicy notes like patchouli or cinnamon or here, the mate, which would otherwise make it unrecognizable. The write up on the Carner Barcelona website suggests this has a prominent metallic note. But, to be clear, I passionately hate metallic notes in general, and I adore this fragrance. The leather is not overly animalic, but somewhat softer instead. And, for a leather fragrance, the projection and overall power isn't overwhelming. Perhaps it is the ozonic notes and fresher cedar/violet aspects that keep it from being too heavy and dark. But the mature scent has great lasting power and stays on my skin all day. This was an immediate bottle buy for me, personally. And while I have a variety of leather scents within my collection, this will be a very uniquely beautiful fragrance to wear in winter. It appears this is only available for purchase on the Carner Barcelona website, for those of us in North America. But because this fragrance is so lovely, that, plus the 15% off coupon I had, made it pretty reasonable to buy and ship.

Yes, I agree, the saffron note is prominent, and the overall composition is gorgeous. One of the best Carners in my experience. Currently overlooked, probably rather than overlooked – undiscovered. Still a novelty? From my subjective point of view, it's ozonic, violet, saffron, cedar. Airy, fresh and light, meets a soft, gently warm, spicy-woody cedar-leather base. I love this contrast. Attractive clash of notes. Personally, I don't get the leather a lot, perhaps because it's very integrated in the overall composition. My impression is unisex. A bit surprised this has been voted so masculine. A very nice, uplifting and modern addition to the Carner lineup. Perfect for spring daytime wear.

Maybe not a revolution, but it is the best leather fragrance I’ve smelled. This is not a heavy or dark big muscle scent. It is smooth and elegant, light and clean. Like walking into a high quality leather bag store in a Mediterranean area. Leather fragrances are not my favourite mostly, but this is an exception. So a little revolutionary for me at least..

sweet and spicy leather that projects and doesn't smell, as my wife says, like a wet handbag. This and Tom Ford Eua de Ombre leather are the best and most wearable and versatile leather frags Ive come across. This brand seems like theyre on a roll. Im impressed

Great summer leather. Lasts a decent amount of time. Smells unique to other things I've smelled, kind of like a metallic summer version of ombre leather. Recommended.

Starts off ozonic forward with orange blossom, but quickly turns to the saffron-assisted, rather plain and muted leather. It’s a leather that you’d find on a couch...it’s new, but it’s more of a muted whiff and certainly not one you’d find in Leatherize by DSD, but probably one that was meant to show up in Tom Ford OL/TL’s perfumes, but I personally never got. You can make out the woodsy accords here, but they’re so muted, I would say it just rounds the profile off to help paint this picture. Now I can see why people would complain about this type of leather in OL/TL—it’s pretty simple and unremarkable—but at least it’s there (as opposed to being saffron heavy). It gets points for balancing the notes right, but personally, this isn’t FBW for me, since it certainly could accentuate the leather a bit more, and maybe add a butting character because as it stands, it’s pretty simple as a frag.

Saffron, saffron, saffron. This is saffron sprinkled all over a leather jacket, in a positive way. The ozonic note is definitely there as well. The saffron is the most prominent, but manages not to be overpowering. It’s a smooth, almost round scent, very ”sit in front of fire place”-y, while still having a bit of a soft draft from the window keeping the temperature just perfect thanks to the flower notes.

It is good aromatic leather scent. Basically clean spicy leather. Performance and projection are good but not monster. It will work well in fall but not cold winter. I like the packaging and the bottle.

Not really a revolution, another leather saffron violet leaf - it’s just this one is new and one of the most ozonic.

fresh, clean, summery leather. really interesting scent. unfortunately, the performance is just not there. projection and longevity are both practically non-existent. too bad, too, because otherwise this would be a real winner.

I have tried this so far only during a cold European winter, and it doesn’t work. I can’t distinguish ozonic and leather notes individually. Instead, they blend into something that resembles rubber, like a smell of new car tyres. I might try it again during the summer, but it’s not a safe blind buy. But it lasts for half a day in my skin and clothes.

I don't like it. I like leather fragrances, but the combination with ozone notes is definitely not my cup of tea. It also seems to me that it is not very durable and has a poor projection for a leather fragrance.

Dear god, I can't see why someone would want to wear this, as much as I love Carner barcelona, this is by far the worst thing I have ever smelt. Perfume? Rather a means for mass destruction, a cough pastille covered in gunpowder and manure - not something I can swallow. Thyme + leather is a hideous combo. When to wear? Never, ever, please if you have any mercy for humankind.

Omg 🤩 isn’t it one of the best effortless, elegant and addictive ozonic suede fragrances? Yes it is!!! If you love anything with ozonic vibe, you will love this fragrance. 10/10 recommendation, money well spent if you invest into this signature worthy masterpiece. Sexy yet elegant on men, sensual and grown up on women. Especially perfect during a rainy spring day or on chilly summer nights

In my opinion Revolucion is inspired by leather expressed as 'suede', already felt in the perfect and unattainable TF White Suede, and replicated in Evody Cuir Blanc and Nishane Suede et Safran. Already smelled, a missed opportunity to make a step forward into this direction. Not bad, not special

I still don't understand how people like leather fragrances. Why would you smell like leather of a car of couch. This ain't it
