The Amazing New Bottle Trick Ladies and gents, allow me to introduce the grand spectacle of modern perfumery: the same fragrance, in a different bottle, sold as some groundbreaking new release! Round of applause for marketing! 🎭 I put it to the ultimate sniff test—sprayed the classic 212 VIP Black on one strip, the MTV Edition on another, and just to spice things up, threw in a body spray of the Black as well. And guess what? No one—I repeat, no one—could tell them apart. Some reckoned the MTV one was “different”, said they liked it more... but when asked to pinpoint why, they had nothing. Sprayed them on my arms, same story. Turns out, the real difference is in the eyes, not the nose. What really gets me, though, is seeing people analysing the “layers and nuances” of this scent like they’re dissecting some rare vintage wine. In the shop, for any sales assistant and customer, the story’s dead simple: same fragrance, new bottle, new price, new profit. ➡️DanGreat | Proper mad about fragrances and cracking good stories 📸 @danlobarc.
