Good Girl Blush Elixir Eau de Parfum

On first couple of sprays, first on test paper, then a spray on each wrist and one to the neck, I got the harshness that others claim as a scent like hairspray or hair remover. After some time, along the dry down, the scent softened and became more pleasant. Still strong and at times a touch cloying. I though I was completely disappointed and about to give up on it, but the next day, I tried it again. This time, as if the first harsh spray was some mix of the juice that was trapped in the small tube and had now gotten to the milder mix, the application was not nearly as harsh nor that hairspray scent. It was not even as potent as that initial spray. It began to take on qualities much like the positive reviews claimed. I felt like I was in a pretty pink powder room filled with flowers all day. Into the evening, it looses a bit of the pretty pink and develops into a more rich vanilla. The target seems to be a gourmand vanilla cake quality, but mixed with the vanilla is a synthetic undertone that is not quite off putting, but has an almost medicinal tone. I think the attempt was to carry the almond scent into the finish, but it does not fully land correctly with my skin. Overall I like it, but had I sampled it first, I would not have paid the money I did for it. It does earn a place on my perfume shelf and I am sure to reach for it again, but doubtful I would buy again; not for the scent, but for the price. The value might be half the going retail. Update: After a few days... I have learned to not spray this fragrance directly on my skin. The odd scent that I said missed the mark, was more of a reaction to my skin chemistry. However, placed on my clothing... this stuff has quickly become my go to fav! Oh and also to avoid the possible cloying at times, Don't apply to the neck or chest but rather areas away from breathing. ei behind the knees, back of the neck, I sprayed it on my little unicorn pillow and after 4 days, the scent is still oh so pleasant!

Wow. I was waiting to love a GG, and now I do. This is BEAUTIFUL. The opening is nice and fresh, but even before drying down thar TONKA DUDE is so PLUSHY. It reveals the trajectory of this perfume journey immediately, you can just *feel* that it will settle into a gorgeously soft, musky, almost poofy drydown and it absolutely does. It's annoying that tonka isn't listed here, because it is with in-store descriptions and it definitely smells like tonka. Everything is really balanced here, and unlike other GG frags, I find that this one smells much better and less sharp at close range. I do love other GGs including the original, but I enjoy their scent trail much more than them on my person. This version is so smooth though, that it's easily just as nice to press your nose into as it is from a distance. The florals are very nice, and it doesn't smell like realistic ylang ylang, but there is a sunny quality to it. But it's a little sensual...like evening sunlight or the golden hour. I'm surprised and impressed by this release! 🌹🌄

What is up with the haters going after this bottle? I love the high heel design! It's fun and sexy, and a nice change of pace from plain boring bottles (I'm looking at you, Le Labo - love the scents, hate the bottles). I smelled all the Good Girls at Macy's, was drawn to the Blush Elixir version, and sprayed it on my jacket before heading home. Three days later, I opened the closet where I hung the jack, and the entire space smelled like Good Girl Blush Elixir. The longevity & sillage are impressive! As for the scent, I can't discern many notes tbh. I get a burst of sweet citrus followed by the tropical aroma of ylang-ylang, then finally the tantalizing base, which is heady and potent and smells kind of cedary. I honestly dig it. It makes me think of 90s perfumes, where the notes blend into something messy & intoxicating, and you wake up the day after pulling an all nighter with a massive hangover but still smelling fu$king amazing.

GGBE is a masterpiece in my eyes. The way the ylang ylang interacts with the vanilla... @olllivia is right, the ylang ylang brings a creaminess with the vanilla that nothing else can. Beautiful. The bergamot and mandarin orange are clearly only depth builders, so don't expect any citrusy transitions- this is a vanilla and ylang ylang bomb. I'd consider the rose a supporting actress to the YY and the vanilla. She's a compliment getter as well...even from my mother who hates vanilla!! I literally gave her a weird look of shock because her compliment threw me off THAT much. Longevity and sillage is amazing, too. GGB is much more youthful, she's girlier. Lighter. Obviously, GGBE is a much deeper take on the DNA. She is GGB's older sister that you have a crush on. She is sexy, she is daring, she commands attention. This is a fragrance for when you want to be a maneater.

Not ground breaking or unique but very very good juice...it has the lovely burst of orange blossom/bergamot opening with the ylang ylang sweet floral coming forward and drying down to soft hints of Rose/Vanilla/ Patchouli...mmm. good projection and longevity. Lasts quite a while! I've paid a LOT more for perfume that doesn't last nearly this long. Men love this one, think it's sexy, which is a plus..it's the vanilla/ patchouli thing. Great for a date. Like I said, it's not earth shattering or overly unique but it is very very good. I got it in a set on sale. Yes the bottle is cute, but I'm not interested in the bottle. Nice to set on a dresser, I guess. I think this is the only "good girl" worth wearing. Not a fan at all of the stiletto heel perfumes, but this one hits the spot, checks all the boxes. I would use an easy hand in the office.

My first CH fragrance and I am torn. While I really love the scent and think it is a beautiful blend I can't help but feel it is overpriced for how it performs. After smelling instore and getting a sampler I decided I wanted the bottle. The bottle is beautiful and the scent is luxurious however, I can't help but feel this doesn't perform on skin up to the $170 price point. I don't think it lasts very long on my skin or clothes. With multiple sprays at 8AM i will only pick up very slight hints of the scent by 12PM. The notes I pick up are fresh yellow floral and cashmere. There is also a recognizable vanilla and patchouli as well. The rose is only detectable after the scent has melted with your skin for a while. This is a nice perfume I just wouldn't pay more than maybe $100 for it if I had it to do over again.

The OG Good Girl has been my signature for many winter now, but this might take her place. It was love at first sniff. People have voted that it’s suitable for summer, but maybe not for the hottest days. It got a bit headache inducing and nauseating, when I sat on a hot bus, but layer it with some fresh rose and you are good to go. Now that I’ve had it for months, the patchouli note is very prominent and when autumn comes, I might start layering it with Bare Vanilla to tone it down a little. I’m very much in love, but I would not blind buy this, because ot the rose and patchouli notes. Also men do not seem to be too attracted to this, but my ex and many women have given compliments. So not for ”male gaze”, if you care about that. 😅 I can’t stop sniffing it, first time in my life I’ve become nose blind.

For anyone looking: this is on my Sephora app today (2/17), but I think all sizes are sold out except for the 2.7. I am SO excited to try this. GGB is one of my all time favorite fragrances! Edit: Shout out to FruityPatchouli! I agree 100% with their comment! I hate to see new frags rated to hell when they’re not fully released yet. Many people count on this website for help choosing a fragrance, and I think it’s important to be honest because I love our community and love that we all have different opinions/tastes/experiences with fragrance. I know people are somewhat tired of the CH GG flankers, but I am still in love with pretty much all of them and I know I’m not the only one. Sorry for getting carried away but FruityPatchouli hit it right on the nose! That’s all. 💖

......my fav from the GG line is the SUPREME ~ and ofcoz im left heart-shattered when CH discontinued it. i tried the every GG flankers and I think NONE of them has similarity to the Supreme. Im also not a fan of the GG Blush, it's just mehhh to me. However, once ive tried the GG Blush Elixir, i was reminded of the Supreme. Supreme has more juicy sparkly berries and flirty notes to it, while Blush Elixir has more depth and creaminess , thanks to the Ylang Ylang. imho, Blush Elixir has the most similarities to the Supreme. Supreme is flirtatious and Blush ELixir is seductive. Love em both! I hope CH will keep this one, and not discontinue another gem like this one!!

This is a masterpiece, in my opinion, and I’m including my critique after a year of wearing GG Blush elixir. An original smell, elegant but subtly seductive, which can be a go-to choice for literally every occasion from office wear to night out, every season of the year (not too sweet, not fruity, not ambery). It’s an ageless, seasonless formula. It has the ability to be noticeable within arm length and lasts a lot, which means that whoever wears it can be related to it but it won’t be overpowering to a room full of people or anyone who cannot bear perfume smells. If your skin chemistry allows it, it’s the perfect choice for signature scent.

Definitely the best hand down perfume i've ever own ( i owned over a 100 perfume ) it is a very sexy night out scent, you smell the patchouli but it isnt like sufacating like in other perfume ( in my own opinion ). It is very very close to the original Blush Good Girl and i am surprised people are chocked by it. Mostly they changed the peony scent in the original for a rose one in the elixir and they added patchouli for longetivity. I went to the club, sweated by ahh off and people still smelled it intact the NEXT MORNING ( put it on at 8pm and stayed until 8 am the morning ). Worth every penny.

Extremely well done, feminine with just enough of a rough edge to tie together a much more interesting package than I'd expected. Hands down my favorite GG and a throwback to more creative Herrera fragrances. I get nostalgic for the days of the great $100 fragrance, but I will bite the bullet like the rest of you if versatility matches likability, and my Wife is enjoying Blush Elixir at a signature scent rate since Christmas Day, indoors and out with temps up to the 70s. I hope this one finds support, plenty of testers out there so give it a chance for an afternoon.

the original ggb never stood out to me, but i'm addicted to ms. elixir. this one still has the powdery, feminine floral touch that characterizes the original blush, but the vanilla takes center stage here. thankfully, my skin barely picks up patchouli. if anything, it just adds the tiniest dash of spice to the scent. I mainly get vanilla with a buttery ylang-ylang. it's the perfect sweet, designer fragrance. so creamy and feminine. the performance is also really good. it lasts way longer than the original and has a strong sillage.

Its very cheerful scent and very feminine 🤍, I feel its full of life. I dont why I dont get people’s vote as it is a winter scent ! For me its more a spring night scent when I am wearing something very feminine and I want to match it with a scent so this one is perfect. Although I bought it on winter & I am really liking it so I am mixing it with more wintery perfumes to make it kinda work on winter. On me I am getting more of sweet rosy notes , less patchouli Also I liked it more than Blush . men really like this scent.

I believe this is one of the best perfume I have wear for the longest time! Is very sensual and strong 3 sprays ,1 spray behind each shoulder and 1 on your chest, that’s should be enough for people to say you smell very good.price point I think is slightly high for many people including me.Is it worth it? Yes you will get complimented all the time.Would I be buying it everything I run out of it? Maybe.But in conclusion I think this is one of the best perfume for a date night!

Listen ladies, this a beautful fragrance and when you take this fragrance and layer this with the Very Good Girl red one , its a stunner combo! Just try it ! I love this fragrance on its own and its amazing. But layering this with the Very Good girl gives both fragrances a beautiful equal blend of a fragrance. It tones down the Very good girl and boosts the creamy vanilla and its a stunner mix. I didnt care for the Original Blush , I feel this version is much better. 10/10

Tested that few days ago in shop and get sprayed even on paper strip, have to say it’s smell very similar to GGB but it’s deeper a bit and definitely long lasting. I could still smell it of that strip I have on my desk second day for fun I prayed the GGB to see if it’s really long lasting and guess what?! next day I can’t smell the original blush but the elixir still strong and there !! so yes it’s beautiful better and long lasting GGB 💗💗love it

very good "college girl" fragrance i feel like, it has the youthfulness of the floral vanilla, the sensuality of the woody notes, and the maturity of the citrus (but not too much where it suits a more older woman). ofc, this scent is for everyone! i just imagine it on a young female adult more than anyone else its pretty soft overall, not *too* complex, but a head-turner nonetheless.

I smelled it for the first time through a tester I got in my package and from the first sniff, I was sold. "This is what I want to smell like everyday" I thought to myself. I immediately ordered the biggest bottle, no regrets. It's gorgeous. Feminine, sexy, elegant, unique. I hate patchouli but it doesn't matter, the combination of scents is perfect. Will forever repurchase!

This is the official IT girl scent. GG blush is fun and flirty for a daytime vibe but this elixir is soooo sexy and addictive. It's a head turner and instant confidence booster. There's nothing basic about it. It's quite strong tho so if you get headaches easily might be a problem in small spaces but perfect scent for date night or a girls night out.

Sexiest perfume i own always get male attention when i wear this it sits beautifully on the skin and the musk really makes it smell like it just radiates off your skin. It lasts forever I put it on for a night out and wake up still with the musk smell on me even on my clothes if they’re not washed the smell stays on. My favourite perfume!

I LOVE this! I like it more than GG Blush since it's more original, the Blush is identical to Montblanc Signature to me, which I also own. GG Blush Elixir's opening is very similar to Blush's, but then it gets sweeter and creamier, and it reminds me of macamadia cookies, I don't know why. I really love the added yellow florals.

Will someone let me know when this gets to Ulta? 😞 I ended up ordering from the CH website, and this is sooo good!! It has the blush dna, but with less citrus, and more creamy vanilla and patchouli. Ok, I love this. It’s warm, sweet, creamy, feminine. I love the vanilla and patchouli. Not young girly, not old lady. Would wear this for brunch with girlfriends or date night. It was a blind buy based on the profile and reviews here, and I am extremely happy I went with it! Could wear this 24/7.

I thought I was done with good girl collections. But after testing this! God, oh God, it's something else. Elegant and classy! And it lasts very well. Sillage is not bad. Let's say: Smell 8.5/10, Long-lasting 8/10, Sillage 8/10. Overall, one of the amazing scents anyone could own.

I could go on but I won’t except to say that I love this scent. This fragrance and it’s projection is very similar to that of Mont Blanc Signature without the sharpness of the clementine note mixing with the creaminess of the vanilla, Amber and florals. Very intoxicating!!

My favourite out the whole good girl line.I love how it’s like a darker version of the good girl blush.Creamy vanilla,patchouli and ylang ylang some of my favourite notes in a perfume.It last very well on my skin and my clothes and overall just a dark feminine perfume

Oh, I love her. I thought I liked Blush, but this one is worlds better for me. So much more grown and sexy than Blush, but still delicate and elegant. I don't think this is screechy at all. It's smooth and almost powdery, but in a creamy floral way, not a sharp way.

literally lasts so long, even after a shower. It’s sort of a powdery vanilla and I like that the vanilla is louder than the florals. Cute bottle but is a little hard to spray, but overall I love this perfume and it’s my favourite good girl scent.

Woody creamy vanilla rose 🌹🍦this is so sexy! I think this is great to wear on a night out or on a date - it’s pretty strong so I’m not sure about daytime or office wear. I haven’t smelt anything like it and I often get compliments

Absolutely love this scent. It is mature but absolutely not old lady. It's sexy and stunning. I sprayed it on my inner elbow in the afternoon and it was still very much there the next morning. I bought a full size already!

I was almost regretting my purchase looking at the notes. It is a bright powdery floral. Very clean and elegant but not in a mature way. Versatile for lots of occasions. Great gift for a young woman, aunt, or even mom.

great perfume i got complemented on it its not overpowering it feels feminine and gives a vibe of youth and life, but at the same time its not like a normal perfume you smell always so it's feminine but not too soft

A heavier version of GG Blush. Imagine Blush but with dominant vanilla and patchouli. I like it but only for colder seasons or evenings, otherwise it's kinda suffocating. The projection and sillage are incredible

I have the OG blush but in a travel it’s just “soft” for me. When I tried the elixir I loved it. Has a more powerful punch than the original but not crazy. The rose note and the y lang note is beautiful together

my coworker told me he jerked off to the smell of my perfume lingering on his jacket when i wore this. in other words, the hoes love it. its creamy and spicy, lasts forever and ever and makes u irresistible.

Someone mentioned that this reminded them of Yara (the pink bottle), and I'd have to agree. To my nose, it does have similarities to Yara. Love at first sniff.
