Oud Couture

I wanted an Oud and Rose perfume and I bought Burning Rose (without Oud) but Also this one. I did not know which one to choose. It could be this one or Oud Royal from Armani, but armani didnt worked well on my skin and It had a lot of sandalwood and I already had many perfumes with sandalwood. I wanted something differente. This is a very good option for me. I can still use one warm and hot day (my city is by the beach) and it doesn ́t results cloying. It projects well and is long lasting. But you have to remember that this is an eau de parfum so it work better with skin heat and tends also to stay closer to skin so you will have to apply a little bit more and you can control easily the intensity you desire. The same for burning Rose. Another thing I have to mention is that this one has a little melt chocolate like odor effect on my skin after certain period of time and I love that. I have 3 5ml replicas of this ones, Burning Rose and Herrera Tuberose...

I read about it, then I tried 2 puffs in the airport df. Then I decided to buy it because : its musculine, literally for men, although it contains rose, but the agarwood is very obvious. The perfume is heavy, for cold weather, preferably on the daytime, oriental, sexy and moderate sillage, lasting more than D&G desert oud. But less than Oud Ispahan for dior.. عطر راقي جدا جربته في مطار الملكة علياء الدولي. يدوم لفترة طويلة و انتشار مقبول.. يفضل للنهار و للرجال و لوقت الشتاء. يشبه عطر كيرلان لكنه أجمل.. يدوم اطول من دولش اند گابانا عود ديزيرت و لكن اقل ثباتا مقارنة بعود اصفهان لديور

Omg!!! Ok, this is mostly rose and cloves and I LOVE it even more for that! You can notice the oud only in the opening it’s medicinal but not skanky at all, it only lasts about a minute and after that it turns into a gorgeous rose and clove fragrance with a slight woody nuance in the back

This is a gorgeous fragrance. This entire line is amazing! Don’t judge this scent in the first 2 minutes. Give it 5 minutes to dry down. It is a beautiful rose and oud combination that is not offensive. Just draws you in! Lovely!

So so beautiful oud and rose combo, I can't stop sniffing myself when I was wearing it, the sweetness is very well blended and not overbearing, I am in love with this fragrance Oud Couture is 8.5/10

Delicious! I would have sworn there were plum and cinnamon in this.

The first time I smelled Oud Couture, I thought hell no! And I like oud fragrances but stay with me here. My initial reaction was limited to the opening where I was hit with a very strong blast of medicinal oud and something that was sharp to my nose, maybe neroli? I like a well done jasmine note that is supposedly in the opening but my nose cannot identify there. The opening lasts for about a minute and when the fragrance has had time to sit on your skin and calm down for a bit, it turns into a beautiful rosey oud. Granted, it's not the most original but I think what sets it apart is that I get a very beautiful smoky incense note when the medicinal oud has lost some of it potency, Don't get me wrong the oud is there throughout mixed with a beautiful rose but the smokiness from the incense elevates it into something more interesting to me. There is also a hint of a balsamic sweetness, just a hint mind you (not at all like oud bouquet) because of which it's unisex and maybe even a touch masculine, to me anyway. Sometimes, when the scent has settled, I catch a very elusive whiff of the jasmine which is very soft and somewhat lost in the blend of the other power players in this composition. Overall, this is a strong like for me once I get past that opening and definitely not a safe blind buy imho.

It's nice, but the oud lasts nothing and the dry down is almost only rose and spices. It's not worth the price at all. Incredibly expensive for what you get. You can buy a better perfomer with better ingredients from many middle eastern houses at half of the price.

This is definitely NOT like Cafe Rose, instead closer to Lancome (The rosiness of Oud Bouquet mixed with the sharp dryness of L'Autre Oud). It's nice but nothing out of the ordinary. *There are also clove & cedarwood in it, which are both detectable.

A nice, simple everyday oud. Nothing complex. Not too fecal and not sweet. Good balance between Rose and oud. Oud here is medicinal and there's a powdery facet. Wish sillage and longevity were better.

purposely logged in to leave my comment Seriously! It smells of moscito repellent! And in an hour or so it calms to a spoiled rose petals' jam I feel weird but keep sniffing it from my wrist

wayyyy over priced for the scent you get , i like oud but there is something that smells like a pharmacy here , i don't like it

A medicinal, cloying rose with oud. Not the biggest fan

Gorgeous Oud! This is a classic oud/rose scent, very Arabic, but with a dominant oud note; a welcomed change from an occidental house, who usually favor the rose over oud. The oud here is the most obvious note. It's woody oud and soft roses. The oud with Taif rose in particular gives it a very Arabic theme. Hours later at the dry down, the rose takes the driver seat but the oud never fades, just settles down for the rose to lead. Woody, oudy, and soft Arabic roses. Really good, really beautiful, really expensive. At discounters, this goes for ~$200 per bottle. The performance is very good, like most of this line from CH. A cool weather, mature, unisex, formal scent. I "Love" it!

واااااي عاااالي،يه تركيب فوقالاده و منحصر به فرد ،ادم مست ميشه از بوش موندكاريش يه هفته رو لباش همسرم،بالبته اصلا سكسي نيت فقط براي روز و حس ارامش، به نظر من وقتي اينو بزني بايد يه بنز اس داشته باشي يا يه ماشين كلاسيك،حس نشاط و لطافت و سنكيني و باكي ميده،اين 3نوت تا اخر بو همراه ةهم هستن به هر كدوم فكر كني همونو اشتشمام ميكني The aroma is wonderful and very refreshing and pleasant, very special for the day, Benz s classic ride and hit the perfumery, or a classic American car, very together mach :-)

A tip. If around 2018 you were smart and purchased CH Men Insignia, do not buy Carolina Herrera Oud Couture. They will be, let's say, 95% similar. Same perfumer (Pierre Constantin Gueros) involved, practically a reinterpretation of the 2018 fragrance that cost me 1/3 of the price charged for Oud Couture. Classic combination of soft western Oud and roses. Both are wonderful.

"Oud Couture" is a sweet European style oud that is balanced with peony, & Taif rose. I'm not sure i can detect Damask roses, but def Taif rose and it is kind of reminds me of "Taif Oud" by Roja, the one that is exclusive for Fortnum & Mason. Good.

If you like this, there is a gorgeous dupe by Maison Alhambra called Exclusif Oud. It's beautifully blended & well balanced & it's about $50 AUD. Lasts forever!

LANCOME OUD BOUQUET IS NOWHERE CLOSE TO THIS. This is dirty animalic OuD - Rose perfume .... People write stupid things without even trying . I love it ..

warm, seductive, classy, mysterious, it combines the magic of the oriental style together with the elegance of the European style ....10/10
