Very Good Girl Glam

Ok, it's time for a more serious review since my last one wasn't as serious, it was more of like an overall notice of the fragrance in itself if that makes sense. I really love this perfume, it's really special. The cherry isn't sweet and medicinal, like in most cherry perfumes. This perfume ladies and gentlemen is the perfect blend of all the notes listed above. Sour cherries and freshly picked roses with a sweet vanilla-almond base. While bitter almond is listed here, I think it's not as prominent as the bitter almonds in Lost Cherry, aka the royalty of cherry perfumes. It's quite simple, not a complicated scent at all, which while it might be made for a daytime wear throughout all four seasons, I believe it can also be a fun nighttime scent, in warmer weather as well. It's not something extraordinary, but it's not your common cherry scent either. Very simple, I'd say workplace/school/university/whatever appropriate as well if you want it to be. Very versatile and lovely scent. It definitely sits different on every skin type which is also a good reason why you should never just spray it on paper, see how it sits on your skin and decide for yourself. On me personally it lasts for an ungodly amount of time, I'm talking 12 hours and more, but it depends from person to person. It's safe to say, this is probably undeniably one of the best Good Girl flankers.

I totally adore this fragrance. Like with most CH frags, it was love at first whiff. I remember smelling it in Ulta and had a basket full of items and was already at my budget for the trip, but I went and put back a bunch of it so I could grab a bottle of this. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear this. People always ask what I’m wearing and my friends always ask if they can borrow a few spritz while we’re out. It’s intoxicating. The cherry & almond are blended to perfection and the rose is just the right amount that it doesn’t overpower the rest of the fragrance for me. The cherry & almond (thankfully!) stay throughout the entire wear and mix sooooo beautifully with the vanilla on dry down. It’s a love and has been my signature since I purchased it. I have had this bottle for about a year now and it’s got maybe 8mL left (😭) but I still roll my eyes with sheer delight every single time I smell this and/or put it on. I think this is a beautiful cherry almond and vanilla scent. The rose isn’t strong at all so I wouldn’t classify it as a rose scent really.

She is pretty, playful and sensual. The cherry is not your typical syrupy/boozy cherry and it's what I like about her. Don't get me wrong, I love a good syrupy cherry but this is beautifully made. The cherry is supposed to be the main star but it's more of an opener. When you first spray it this is a very tart cherry with hints of rosewater. The rosewater is more like an enhancer so if you're not a rose person, don't be scared to still try this. After about an hour your vanilla bourbon sets in and has nuances of almond around it. It's a very sensual sweet vanilla skin scent that isn't overbearing and super sweet. This is a fragrance I would wear on a nice evening out with my girlfriends. I do find the scent itself to be apt for year round wear but I have found that if it's worn out in extreme heat (I live in north Texas) it evaporates pretty quickly. So I tend to reach for it for summer evenings/nights. The rest of the year, this performs extremely well on my skin.

Do you remember receiving those Barbie makeup sets during your childhood Christmas celebrations? This smells identical to that! I used to own a large, sparkly Barbie case filled with eyeshadows, lipsticks, and blushes, and this fragrance bears an uncanny resemblance to that delightful childhood aroma. Every time I smell this at the store, it fills me with a profound sense of innocence and nostalgia, reminiscent of my carefree days as a little girl. For me, this fragrance carries a touch of kitsch and campiness due to its association with children's makeup. In the best way possible, I feel like a character in a John Waters' film would wear this scent. Although I'm uncertain about purchasing it as a perfume, I believe it would make a perfect candle scent, reminding me of my girlhood with every flicker of the flame.

This is my favorite perfume to smell on my mom out of her collection (although that doesn’t mean anything, this is for any age). It smells like delina exclusif but if she were happier and more sweet. I literally love it and would like to get myself a bottle. I’ve been trying to chase other perfumes that are similar to this like delina, delina exclusif, angel nova, alien pulp or lychee rose by nest to not have the same perfume as my mom but this is undeniably the best lychee rose perfume there is. Perfect for everyday and projects and lasts so well. EDIT: After looking at the notes there’s apparently cherry and no lychee in here which is surprising because I don’t smell the cherry and I definitely smell lychee or a raspberry note?

This has been my favourite perfume for three years. It's perfectly between light and heavy, so can be used for any occasion. Long lasting, vibrant, smells mysterious and sweet. I personally use a lot of light perfume so love to use this one as my evening perfume. Sweet with a claw, love love love :) ୨୧....୨୧ ....୨୧ Stats: Sillage, high (have gotten multiple compliments :) Longevity, great, I haven't experienced a more long lasting perfume. Price, 90$ for 50ml so on the higher edge of cheapies or maybe onto the middle shelf, but definetly worth. Gender, feminine <3 Time, all year round but imo more evening even though I use it for daytime too :) ୨୧....୨୧ ....୨୧ Overall: 9,5/10

this is so so good!! to me it smells like litchi instead of cherry ahah but both are quite similar scents I guess. to me this is a sour, sweet cherry/litchi candy. absolutely amazing, a crowd pleaser for sure and suitable for any occasion. my mom and grandma love this scent too and anytime i spray it they ask me to spray it on them too ahahaha!! also I keep spraying this scent in the air and everywhere bcs I wanna keep smelling it. really good, uplifting, bubbly, girly scent but with a bit of a dark side due to the bitter cherry, almond and vetiver. I think a girl who feigns innocent but actually has a slightly darker side to her with second intentions would wear it. love it

I loved this but I didn’t like it at first snif in the store I then received a sample with an order from another perfume it’s called Etat Libre d’orange protection but when I tried it in store I didn’t like or love any of the good girl fragrances bc it’s was to sweet for my liking anyway back to the sample I got I loved it I tried it on and the opening was very sweet and a little bit of a sour Cherry which disappeared within a few second ( I wish that note lasted a bit longer) but then the dry down I felt like a sugary fairy ( normally I wouldn’t like overly sweet ) but the sweetness of this is more powdery and sophisticated I love it! Overal 7/10 I would buy this!

I'll be honest: I had an irrational hate towards Good Girl and it was a bit unfair. After smelling the original GG, I hated it, and despised the bottle design as well. However, when I put my judgement aside and smelled this, I was pleasantly surprised! To my nose, this is an very likable fruity/floral with a delicious touch of almond and cherry. It's lighter than I expected, which makes it more suitable for the transitional seasons and summer. Longevity was pretty decent, it lasted about 6 hours on my skin with low to moderate projection. I still don't like the odd, impractical bottle, but the scent definitely makes up for it imo :)

This is my favorite out of the Good Girl collection. A very memorable composition that definitely stands out without being too much. I love how harmonious it is and none of the notes overpowers the rest. The cherry and the rose blend so well together that I can’t really perceive them separately in this perfume. There is vanilla but it’s not overly sweet, it stays in the background. I associate rose with vintage perfumes but here the note is derived from rose water which makes all the difference, it is light, fresh and youthful. It’s fun. The scent is balanced and beautiful. Very comforting. Gives me bright and bubbly girl vibe.

A beautiful rose perfume, slightly sweetened by a very subtle vanilla, it does remind me of something, a strong rose based cream/lotion or perfume I must have come across in the past, not sure which one. The opening is quite sharp, I can smell some fleeting sour cherry very briefly which dissapears within 20 minutes, then it's just rose which changes from fresh to sweet. I can't detect almond although it might be there but very subtle. I like it but on my skin it does perform a little too heavy, I need to wear it with caution, in small doses otherwise it will make me sick, definitely not an every day perfume for me.

This is just gorgeous. I can definitely smell the Very Good Girl DNA in here, but the added cherry note really stole the show and grounded the fragrance for me. I loved the opening of Very Good Girl but the dry down was mediocre to me and I wished the litchi note lasted longer. The added cherry note in the Glam adds a juicy tartness to the fragrance and it lasts even in the dry down. I wish I got a 3.4oz bottle... I'm sad that it's limited edition. The only downside is that the performance isn't great and it becomes a skin scent pretty quickly. It lasts well on my clothes thankfully.

the first time I’ve smelled this in Sephora I was absolutely smitten, it’s such a sweet, sexy, elegant and playful scent 💗 now I finally got my hands on it after almost 3 years! I’ll say that it smells a bit soapy, but overall the impression it gives me is sweet, fresh, floral and clean. I smell bitter cherry and almond a lot, it’s also slightly grandma-ish, but not entirely. for me this isn’t an everyday perfume, it’s very seductive, bitter and sweet which I’d use at night or for fancy occasions, this is sure to land a good first impression on your date in my opinion 💘

I love this perfume! However, I think the season in which you wear it makes a big difference. This is definitely a summer perfume for me, very sexy and delicious, like juicy cherries and vanilla. However, now that it is winter, for some reason the smell is super different. The below reviews talk about it smelling medicinal and now I understand why, because without mixing with sweat I guess it looses how juicy and robust it is but instead smells like a powdery rosy cherry. It's still nice but I would only seriously recommend this if you live in somewhere which is HOT.

(I always seem to have bad luck with opening Carolina Herrera bottles: I buy the travel size and they always BREAK ON ME so I have to rebuy!) This is instantly my favorite CH fragrance. I am a lover of seductive, deep, mysterious fragrances, and this is just...SEXY. This is a whole bouquet of rose and lilies. These notes complement each other so well, with the cherry and almond layering that gives it that sultry smell. This lasts for ages. This was also a blind buy after smelling the original Very Good Girl. My Ulta does not carry the travel of VGG.

I'm wearing a sample of this right now and it's so gorgeous! It has the sweetness and slight tartness of VGG mixed with a deeper cherry note and a hint of creamy almond. Those last two make it more appropriate for the winter and nighttime than the original but the VGG DNA is still prominent enough that I think it would work for all seasons. I've seen a couple of reviews saying it didn't last very long but mine has lasted all day! It hasn't been projecting very much but I under sprayed because I don't want to use up my sample (whoops).

This one is glamorous, classy and made for a fancy fun night out. I personally get a more boozy black cherry and Turkish rose scent than an overpowering sweetness. Cherry and rose are a combination which work effortlessly well together. In this instance, the vanilla and almond work independently to emphasise the floral and fruity notes on the dry down. Unfortunately, this fragrance lacks the original DNA of its sister fragrances in the Good Girl line, with the vanilla lacking much similarity to that of the first iteration.

Tested today, I really want this! I didn't think much of the OG GG, but the tart fresh top notes on this had me wanting a FB . It smells like Rhubarb not cherry to me. I haven't tried Delina, BR 540 or Angel Nova so can't comment on them. I did try the new Jimmy Choo that's in the "smells like " section below today though, not that similar to my mind. The JC was pure generic and weak (but my nose could lf got confused at this point I suppose - I will try the JC on its own next time to make sure. ). Really want this ASAP.

The Fragrantica middle and base notes are wrong. The CH page says totally different notes, according to CH the middle notes are Rose and ambrette seeds and the base notes are Rose, ambrette seeds and Tonka Bean. The notes that Fragrantica declare belong to the Very Goog Girl and not to the Glam. Top notes are ok. I love this fragrance. The cherry note is very predominant on my skin, the rose and the tonka bean make an incredibly delicious fusion and it lasts for more than 8 hours.

I first tried this perfume on paper and I absolutely fell in love, it lasted for 1-2 days on the paper so I bought it. It was winter time- I sprayed it and on my skin it lasted for 3-4hours, on clothes around 12hours. To be honest, I was disappointed with the longevity because I really like the perfume. It’s fruity and juicy more raspberry than cherry imo. Fast forward to hot summer I can feel the scent after 16+ hours ON MY SKIN! I guess it is a summer frag for me.

This is a beautiful scent. The fruitiness is subtle and darker than other cherry scents I've tried. The bitter almond adds a lovely complexity to the opening. The floral component is feminine and sexy. The fruitiness lingers throughout and the dry down is addictive. This is a compliment getter. Even though it's not girly or light, it has a freshness to it that's surprising. I wesr this daily right now, and someone always comments on how I smell wonderful.

This is my favorite GG and most complimented perfume, mostly by men but also women. Very sexy, sweet and deep. I absolutely love the rose scent mixed with lilys and slight vanilla and cherry. The bottle is very pretty too. Perfect for a date night or signature scent despise GG being very popular, if you just want something safe that lasts long this is honestly perfect. I layer it with covered in roses by B&BW (also my fave) and it's so good!

I think this would be great for someone who wants to get into rose fragrances but is hesitant. The sour cherry is bright and fruity but the rose is definitely in the forefront. I didn't detect any of the almond and there's a touch of spiciness in the base but not much. Edit: after further testing I'm surprised at how much I like this in comparison to Very Good Girl, which is tart and screechy on me. If that one didn't work for you, try this.

I LovE this perfume! It’s so gorgeous. It’s zingy, tart fresh in the opening, I smell a passionfruit note, even though it’s not listed. It’s sparkling and delicious. Very girly fragrance. I’m not really getting cherry but I smell the vanilla. It’s warm and fresh all at the same time, the bottle is pretty and the colour really matches the fragrance. This lasts for days on clothing! I think it’s sexy and would be nice for date night.

A more cherry based Burberry Her or Delina. I have three perfumes all with these same notes and each one brings a bit of a twist to the profile line up. The bottle caught my attention and the scent was too perfect. Most likely not a winter scent and the cherry and lychee in here are far too sweet. Paired with sun screen this would be intoxicating at the beach. Day or night. This is a highly sweet fruity scent that grabs attention.

One of my favorite perfumes, that lovely and envogorating acid deep cherry that kiss you and warm you up, with the rose used so smartly here its just perfect and so so fun! and just to make it even better and well balanced comes that sweet ending of the vanilla. This perfume gives me a really good mood I strongly recommend. I have niche perfumes and I do not exagerate by saying this could be one.

I love love love this fragrance. So sweet and feminine. None of the notes overpower each other. I don't typically like cherry but the cherry blends so well with everything else. When I smell this, I picture a scene where I'm passing by a girl on the street who just washed her hair. Shampoo-y in the best possible way. This will be my Valentine's Day fragrance this year and for more years to come.

UPDATE: after a few months of staying in my cupboard the scent has now become so much better than it was in the beginning: significantly smoother now, creamier syrupy cherry jam, sweet vanilla and now less but fresh rose in the background. I love it so much more now. Reminds me of Miss Dior Rose n Roses which is one of my favorites. Some fragrances are worth allowing to macerate for longer.

honestly, i dont understand why people hate on this perfume. if you cant smell cherry, then give it more tries. i couldnt really smell it when i tried it in the shop, i thought it was peach, but now after wearing it for more than a week i can clearly smell cherry, its just comes later than other notes. this cherry is not for everyone, but very beautiful. i fell in love with this perfume

Had a tester, at first I love the smell very fruity, I smell strawberry, but I would never buy the perfume. After an hour the fragrance is so weak I can only get a fant smell of fizzy sweets with my noise upto my wrist. Shame this could have been in my top 10 perfumes if it had lasting power. I have the pink star, Muglar fragrance which is very simular but much stronger and last longer.

I absolutely love this, one of my all time favorites. It was love at first smell. The cherry note mixed with the vanilla and rose make this very mass appealing and versatile. I don't have strong feelings about any other fragrances from the Good Girl line, but this blew me away. I cannot stand the fact that it's not in my collection yet but I will be rectifying that in the near future.

This makes my mouth waterrrr! The cherry on this smells so delicious and sharp in a very fun, sparkly way— specially in the opening. However, the almond blends beautifully with the cherry and turns the smell into a creamier scent. In the dry down, the rose notes make a soft appearance that blends absolutely divine with the cherry. Definitely one of my fav scents ever!

Saída verde, consigo sentir uma cereja amarga e um outro amarguinho que deve vir do cacau. Depois aparece a rosa, que não está forte e sinto um atacado gostoso ao fundo. Boa projeção e excelente fixação.

Juicy cherry! To those who say they don’t smell almond , it’s there , that’s the bitter note of dry raw almonds . I wasn’t sure at first about this glam version, but after wearing it for 2 hours, I decided , I LOVE IT! I can see why it’s a flanker of the good girl line , it has some of that white floral dna . Anyways to love it , you gotta wear it

CH did a great job with this flanker - beautiful almond cherry fragrance that isn’t overpoweringly tart or sour, nor too sweet and cloying. Every time I smell it on someone it’s amazing. Very similar to OG good girl but the cherry note is an amazing addition, and in terms of cherry fragrances on the market I’d say this is one of the best just now.

Just got this perfume as a valentine's gift for both my husband and I. He fell in love with this scent immediately after smelling it, especially because of the cherry notes! After 3 hours the cherry note faded a little and its a nice spicy floral with vanilla and lily. This is such a gorgeous perfume and I'm glad we got it! Perfect for valentine's

this is by FAR my favorite carolina herrera perfume from this line and maybe my favorite perfume from my collection. i’m a sucker for anything cherry. it’s sweet but sexy, i always wear it for dinner dates or for going out. however i wish this lasted longer, especially considering how pricey it is. nowadays i mostly just wear this for layering.

Smells similar to Very good girl, just more fruity and tart. I like the original version just a bit more as this leans to a fragrance Id smell as like a body spray or something from Victoria’s Secret. What makes me love this though is longevity. I used two sprays of my tester on my neck and it literally lasted almost 12 hours. I was impressed.

People! Is here anyone who remembers and loved Roccobarocco silver jeans perfume (1995) It had that silver zippo lighter shaped bottle. Lovely. Today I put this on paper in the perfume shop and put it in my pocket. And at home it hit me and brought back memories of that old perfume. So similar. Very feminine, and nice scent. I missed it.

i have come to absolutely adore this fragrance. its powdery strawberry pink cherry clean princess flower bomb. and i'm someone who doesnt typically like floral perfumes. on my skin i dont smell the almond very strong. this is just too complex & beautiful to not like. it makes me feel so pretty. speaking of .. the bottle ! gorgeous

Love the cherry note in this one and wish it would last longer! It’s a lovely cherry almond scent, not artificial at all. This dries down into a floral scent that is nice but very reminiscent of Very Good Girl, so unless you’re really in love with cherry notes or with the Good Girl flankers, you don’t really need this one.

the opening is very sweet and fruity, then the almond hits. it's sensual, romantic, very slightly artificial. takes a few sniffs to distinguish one note from another. perfect for a slow dinner date with a black dress and heels. sophisticated, nuanced, she's kind with a little bit of flirty sass. i might just be in love.

Very Good Girl Glam is an intoxicating warm cherry rose fragrance. The bitter almond comes through and gives it depth. The opening is uplifting and it settles down to a creamy woody rose. It is sexy and I’d wear it in spring and summer. For me it is an evening fragrance. Would love to own a bottle!

This is a beautiful sweet yet sour cherry. I feel many cherry fragrances can come off as medicinal or cloying, but this is blended beautifully. The cherry is pleasantly sharp, contrasting perfectly with the floral notes. A more mature, sexier take on a fresh fruity scent. I absolutely adore this.

This perfume gets an uncessary amount of hate! It's bold and electrifying. It's the embodiment of your best, long-distance girl friend who has the funniest and raunchiest stories to tell you over the phone. I adore the tartness of the cherry. If you like Black Opium you'll be a fan of this.

I fell in love with this scent when I received a sample. I could not wait to buy the full bottle. Very feminine and sweet but not too much. It’s a nice almonds flowery smell that makes peoples head turn and I have gotten many compliments. For me it’s a daily wear in spring or summer.

Okay, after having this for a while, I can confidently say that this is amazing!!! It smells almost EXACTLY like cherry cola, but with more vanilla. It's amazing, and I love it. In terms of longevity, it lasts for 4 hours. Its silage is noticeable on clothes. Overall, 8/10

I’m surprised that people find this to be a summer/spring scent. I only wear this in cold weather. This is really lovely! However I feel like the cherry isn’t SOUR it’s more rich and syrupy. But this is a very glamorous scent, hence the name.

LOVE THIS !! It's very gourmand even though I didn't expect it. It smells just like watermelon bubble tea (pls tell me I'm not the only one) WHERE IS THE CHERRY ALL I SMELL IS WATERMELON and I LOVE IT. it's hot girl certified 💅🍭♀️
