Aimez - Moi

I can't help but love this perfume, it is the perfume in which I met my husband, and in which I married him a year later. It is the perfume that they confused a little in the new reformulation and that's because they sweetened it and it wasn't the case. It's true that the name leads you to the idea of love, but it is the love of a strong woman for her partner, not of an ordinary woman, is sincere and uninteresting love, it is the passionate love in the shadows but dignified in public, it is the love of soul mates, not a rule of society to marry. It was perfect as it was, slightly sober but enveloping, fine, elegant, a fragrance that freezes and enclosures at the same time.That smell is a mentholated, spicy floral. Quite uniformly, the menthol floral base is a concrete one but during the evolution a spiciness appears, in different quantities, towards the end it feels a note of wet forest.Wonderfull perfume, I even wear it in the new version but unfortunately my husband can't stand the idea of wearing it out of his presence, it seems to him a perfume that it mean to wear only for him If I think about it, it's the only thing that ever aroused my husband's jealousy sooo I can't wear it, for the emotional good of my love, as much as I would like, but I think all the strong women on the planet should try it at least once in their lives, but be careful that you might insert it in some special moments and later your partner will have the same feelings as mine and you won't enjoy it so often either 🙃. It is not entirely an office perfume, but neither one like Cinnabar Estée meant for seduction it's a hybrid, a strong woman cold scent but with something that say: your mine come to me, it's like a love spell which is triggered only by the person who makes your heart beat like a runaway horse.

A fragrance fit for the Fairy queen herself. This is such a jewel of a perfume. It is a diamond in the rough. The smell is sparkly and bright. It goes through a continuous evolution for hours and hours of wear, constantly evolving into a different variation of the same notes...amazing. A Violet, Anise, Mint & Cardamom flavored gourmet confection. I get lots of slightly sweet and candy like violets. Anise and Mint make this as sparkly as diamond dust. Amber, Cardamom, Heliotrope and Tonka in the drydown sweeten this tea time dessert up. It is the most refreshing sweet smell I have ever smelled, yet it is not citrus-y, nor is it like powdery, or soapy. It truly makes me feel like I am covered in jewels and diamonds. It is so refreshing, juicy, and sensually edible. It dries down to this Magical, Enchanting scent of amber and heliotrope, all the while the anise, mint and violet are peaking through, and it constantly feels like you are smelling a new scent. I swear every hour or so, I say to myself "what IS that beautiful smell?" and realize...that it is Moi, evolving yet again. Truly Magical Summer night and Spring day scent. This is mysterious, but not in a domineering or intimidating way; it is an inviting mystery, like a hidden secret garden. You get whiffs of it every time there is a light breeze, and every time it is just DELICIOUS. I will always keep this one around for as long as I can.

My bottle does not match the image above. I bought a vintage Aimez-Moi off eBay and my immediate regret is that I didn’t buy a larger size. Several months ago I read a “best of” anise article here on Fragrantica. I read John Biebel’s summary and my interest was piqued. I approached with caution (because John had led me astray in the past) but the price was within my give-it-a-shot range: $30 for one ounce. Anyway, it has taken me a few wearings to figure it out. Anise and mint are a part of the structure, but there’s a creaminess present that pulls Amiez-Moi into an amber direction. There’s so many contrasts in this composition that it feels daring even by todays standards: a wide range of florals mixed with fruit sitting on a layer of musk and vanilla. It’s aromatic, gourmand, and a fruity floral scent all in one perfume. This complicated recipe is not usually my thing. I’ve been wearing this beauty in warm weather and I can’t wait for the temps to lower as we approach Fall. It’s the perfect perfume to cozy up with a warm beverage next to a fireplace. I think this is an acquired taste, but if you get a chance to sample don’t pass it up. Or, take a chance on a vintage sealed bottle like I did (I have no idea if the newer version is good).

A beautiful violet, unveiling a spiciness I attribute to the anise, and given a refreshing lift by the mint. Mine is a splash on in the bottle pictured above. I like it more than Caron's other big violet, Violette Precieuse, which has leans slightly vegetal on my skin. I have never sampled Apres l'Ondee so I can't compare, but AlO has often been described as melancholic and Aimez Moi is joyful. There is a similarity to Lolita Lempicka due to the anise, but this is more delicate. The Caron catalog is so vast that I hesitate to say that I find it boring and underwhelming, because there are so many classics I have never experienced, but based on what I own, this one ranks among my favorites. It is also one of my favorite violets period. It has a subtle but noticeable projection, and though I can see it being easily worn in the springtime, it is deep enough that I think it can be worn in any season. All in all, a successful blind buy. I have no idea how the reformulation compares, but given Caron's disastrous handling of many of their classic reformulations, I would suggest seeking out the older version. Bonus points for the bottle! EDIT - Put some in an atomizer and sprayed on lavishly!! I am in violet heaven!!

If anyone is familiar with Anis de Flavigny violet-flavored pastilles, coated with the delicate flavor of violet with an anise center, the opening here is its olfactory equivalent (agreeing with smellylorenny's observation). Soon thereafter, there is a sheer current of mint leaves, not dissimilar to that of the beautiful Annick Goutal Nuit Etoilee, that contrasts with the peachy-powdered vanillic amber core, allowing a good amount of "levitation" and sillage to Aimez-Moi. Also contributing to this lift is a camphorous, warm cardamom that melds famously into this sweeter, resinous base. The resulting effect is a kaleidoscope, slowly rotating so that it isn't dizzying, just mesmerizing. The elements play this delightful game of 'round robin' through the heart, with moments where changing hands reveal interesting contrasts. I love fragrances that are capable of this: monolithic fragrances can be lovely too, but ones with choreography can captivate throughout their development. Dominique Ropion seems to have a knack for this, and Aimez-Moi wouldn't have been out of place as an early Frederic Malle release in the turn of the 21st century.

This is one gal that is hard to get to know. At first I found her way to stuffy. (Thats the problem I have with coco) She is very reserved and unfriendly. But, I have been going back to my sample here and there, and the last two times I am slowly getting to know her better, my inital hate has went to a like. I love the very beginning the most, I wish that part lasted longer. I get a rush of spice...a nice equal mix of cardamom and anise. I get the violet, but it is very light to me,as the spice is very dominate to my nose. A little later, the violet comes forward a bit more, the woods and fruit settle in, mingle with the spices, and stays that way for a good 6-8 hours. I never got as much mint as I would have liked, a bit in the beginning, giving a wonderful freshness (would have loved it to last longer) But overall, Aimez Moi is really growing on me. She is no Insolence, but very beautiful once you get to know her. Powder n' spice, and everything nice. Update...LOVE this! I understand the beauty and full spectrum rainbow of notes in this perfume and we are best friends... Unique classic!

I've been looking for a violet scent for a while. I have a decant of this that I ordered from a website. And I think I've found my scent! What I like about it is that the other notes keep the violet from being overpowering. When I read that this was a Ropion creation, I was kind of surprised that I liked it so much. I often find his fragrances to be too sweet for my taste. But not this one! It reminds me of something, but I haven't been able to figure out what. All of that said, I don't think this is one I'd wear in the hottest part of the summer where I live. I think it might be overwhelming for me in really hot, humid weather. But in the spring, fall, and winter, bring it on! One other note...this is Caron, so of course it's expensive. I'm considering buying a miniature on eBay, or possibly getting a bigger decant. I'd love to get a full bottle, but the smallest one is 30 ml for 150 euros, and shipping is 60 euros. At current exchange rates, that's $237.90!! Way, way, WAY out of my price range.

Aimez Moi is what Insolence dreams about being once it is released from the asylum! Indeed Aimez Moi is a very, very sweet, gourmand variety of violet with a strong anise flavour in the background. Violet flavoured liquoice. I found myself in the unaccountable position of desiring to cannibalise my own limbs! It is the opening and heart which is most addictive. They are very sweet but never overwhelming and I find them balanced quite nicely with floral elements, anise and the freshness of mint working in the background. The woody drydown however turns anemic and bitter on my skin, which is so very disappointing. Of course, I have the new EDT version in the cystic noduled bottle and I am unsure if the naf domed bottle holds a different flavour of treasure? In the interim, I will simply need to 'refresh' my candy cravings with a renewed spray whenever the lame woody drydown becomes too disheartening.

I have smelled a fair share of violet scents, and while not a fan of anise I thought I had some idea of what to expect when I first opened my vintage splash bottle. Yet after a slightly mentholated opening, on me this remains the foil of a freshly opened pack of ladies cigarettes (as noted by one of the editors here, and a reviewer below). Not the tar-filled, heavy “tobacco” note of today, but certainly not something I understand. I keep hoping the violet will reveal itself! Ended up with a large vintage flacon anyway because there’s something energetic that pulls me back - “love me!” it commands. It feels like more of an old soul than a 21st century creation. A safe blind buy only for the intrepid. Sillage and longevity of the vintage edition: strong and lasting enough for me. (noting the most recent reviews, I wonder if the current formulation is a tamer, more violet-y version....)

Aimez Moi is a most unusual scent. On me, the mint is VERY strong from beginning through the drydown. Mint mixed with the liquorice flavor of star anise, and soft spices gives this frag a sweet aspect. It ranges from a fresh minty opening blast to a not too sweet tasty candy heart that doesn't last long on my skin. Then the drydown envelopes mint with softly blended incense spices. There are violets, but on my skin this is not a flowery floral scent at all. It's more minty, fresh, softly spiced and dry. I've never tried anything like Aimez Moi before. The long lasting drydown reminds me of spicy mint chai tea....emphasis on MINT. Aimez Moi lasts a good 12 hours on my skin, and wears close to skin after the first 10 minutes. I'll use Aimez Moi when I feel like wearing something "very very different." People of all ages who like truly unique fragrances, would enjoy wearing Aimez Moi.

It is lovely! A really feminine fragrance, revealing an interplay between violets and anise, on the verge of becoming gourmand, but the final feeling is more floral wood. I cannot discern the stated bergamot, maybe just a little at the end of the whiff's tail, adding to the complexity of the composition. On me, and to my liking, the violets are a bit more prominent, rendering it sweet, dry and feminine, and the shy wood deepens it, contributing to a soft and yet mysterious dry down- but still very pretty! It smells indeed like Apres L'Ondee, which I also adore, but Aimez moi is darker and woodier, less fragile, with more persistent sillage, whereas ALO captivates with its ethereal pastel watercolours. It means love me, and I love it not just because it says so, but because it smells so! (EDT review)

There is a certain perfect balance in this scent. It could easily have been too girly and sweet or too powdery and mature, but it ends up being neither of these. It is at once candy-like and medicinal, yet never overbearing. The sweetness is attenuated with some bitter masculine notes to give it a kind of unexpected depth. At the same time, the fragrance never feels overly complex - it is very focused and balanced. I can't imagine these notes being interpreted in a better way. EDIT: And, while wearing (vintage) L'Heure Bleue, suddenly this fragrance's inspiration becomes apparent. It offers a modern, non-perfumey interpretation of this amazing classic confectionary fragrance. Violet pastilles, licorice, marzipan, and spice drops set your mouth watering.

oh Aimez-moi, comme je vous aime :-) This is a fragrance that would have made an iconic 70s-80s power b-b-b-bomb (apologies, have seen too many times Flying High). Guess what: I cannot stand the taste of anise (except in fennel) as I cannot stand the taste of mint, or ginger, or licorice. And there you go: I do love this one, so go figure. Indeed add the violet, the iris, the amber, the vanilla, the peach, the jasmine: what a grand combo! If the former notes put you off but are interested how they miraculously mix in with the latter, do still give it a sniff or three and see if it does the same for you. Because yeah, I was confused when it came out and I am still confused now. But ooooh boy, do I continue to love this.

This is an amazing perfume. It was on my wish list, and when I see it on the shelf I immediately bought it without testing..While I was waiting in the line to pay, sprayed a little and WOW, although I was sure that I would love it, but this much, I did not expect. Some fragranticans created an idiom as "love at first sniff", YES this is it for me..opens as a blast of creamy anise/liquorice combo, a little sweet (but not girly), I get some spices at the beginning but fades away quickly, then it is creamy violets all through. Very warm and young (but not girly, again), a little powdery..Longevity is sooo good, like all day long, and sillage is 7-8 out of 10. Makes me happy and I feel like I can never get enough of it :)

Aimez-Moi has always reminded me of Amelie: sweet, french, all innocent and fragile, yet full of dreams and energy. The opening is scathingly sweet, like a whiplash, yet oddly refreshing. Then I get the impression of (violet?) gummy bears for a while. Once that impression goes away, I'm left with a creamy, woody, powdery, intensely violet heart that just fades away slowly with time. The sweetness hangs over the composition throughout but it's not as tooth-achingly sweet as in the first hour. Despite the woods, spices and sweets, this feels clean and cooling. The lasting power is also really good, I can always smell the last whispers of it at the next shower.

Like others, the opening is the very best part of this scent. A touch of anise drowned in violets, peaches, rose, and touched with cardamom. As it dries the mint comes forward with the violet which gives a bit of a toothpaste vibe if you smell too close, but a very nice violet floral cloud at an arms length. About an hour later that too dies back leaving a sweet better than skin violet-musk dry down scent. At this point it makes me think of the smell of a person leaving the bathroom freshly washed, lotioned, and brushed and wrapped in a fluffy towel in a soothing low lit white hotel room..

Though it has a lot of other florals in it, Aimez Moi is my all-time favorite violet perfume. This is so stunningly beautiful and a real treat to wear. The anise, mint and cardamon add the most wonderful aromatic coolness that lifts the violets and accentuates their beauty without overshadowing them while the iris adds a slight powdery dryness. No excessive fruitiness. No tooth achingly sweet notes. No heavy earthy or woody notes. Just a cool, dry, airy violet, that smells wonderful on this hot day. Aimez - Moi means Love Me, and I certainly do love this beautiful perfume!

The Anise notes in this perfume are just fabulous!! mixed with soft notes of violets and mint, making a perfect combination to create a soft and elegant fragrance. Aimez Moi can be the girlfriend of Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin both two work so well the violet and anise. This fragrance is a sweet and not so strong scent (like others Oriental floral), with a beautiful combination of Violet, Anise(Dominant note),and Mint. Aimez Moi dry down is divine! I highly recommend this unusual and beauty scent.

An interesting scent..opening is tart Jolly Rancher apple violet hard candy. Sillage is a shy violet, and it only lasts a few hours. I find it more interesting than violette-menthe by JCB.....probably because Caron fragrances typically consist of several chapters; rarely are they a short story. This review is for a recent EDT. I would love to smell the pure parfum or it's predecessor, N'aimez que moi. Lovely easy to wear fragrance with some intrigue. Violet lovers MUST try this one.

A gorgeous perfume. Divine violet, iris, cardamon, amber and star anise. A lovely delectable delight of a perfume. Beautiful sandalwood, soft smooth amber, vanilla, gorgeous rose, lovely mint, bergamot; all sorts of divine aromas. Says around for hours and hours, and never fades!!! It's my husband's favourite. Very romantic fragrance, and everywhere I go I get swooned over! People stop me in the street, and shops, to ask what I'm wearing. It's heavenly!! Gorgeous!!!!!

Very sharp and a little harsh at first- top-notes remind me of my initial yikes reaction to L'Heure Bleue- but in my opinion, it has more appealing mid and base-notes, and this makes me want to try it again- like a person that you meet and immediately clash with, yet you feel compelled to seek them out- there's more beneath the surface- or like a fruit that is prickly on the outside but is soft, sweet and mellow within-

Lovely, delicate, feminine fragrance for spring. Fresh and floral but with hidden complexities: not a "linear" violet but a wonderful evolution from a fresh start to a more powdery heart. My only complain is that it's quite weak... but despite the tiny sillage, longevity isn't too bad. I've tried the older edition in the original bottle.... and know that this has been (sadly) pretty much reformulated.

Love at first sniff:) Powdery violets, sweetness of anise, hints of minty freshness wrapped with blooming spring flowers. Such an amazing scent. I'm so glad I ordered a sample, soon to own the real deal:) It smells better than I would've imagined. The best part part is that it smells super awesome from beginning to end, some 5-6 hours later. Definitely do love it for what it is:)

Aimez - Moi. What a beautiful name ! There are few fragrances out there that really put a smile on my face and this is one of time ! I feel joy, happiness and melancholy in the same time. A burst of spicy minty violet-anise and fresh notes. Candied violets, heliotrope, iris and magnolia. Fells powdery-sweet and floral. Chic, elegant and pretty. Well done, Monsieur Ropion !

Aimez-Moi is in a league of its own. It is, if not the most unique and incredible scent profile I have ever come across, certainly near the top. The way it masterfully blends those sharp, aromatic herbal notes with the delicate, powdery violet is unlike anything else in my collection. It is a true standout and honestly a work of art. I'll always want to have a bottle.

This is a truly masterpiece. It's so pretty and addictive. At the beginning I get mint, lots of it, then the flowers hit in I get such a bubbly, champagne like smell that makes me want to smell my wrists all the time. It's not sweet, nor spicy, nor citrus. I feel champagne on my wrists and I'm loving it. I've never smelt any perfume like this. Gorgeous.

I don't like most powdery notes and don't love violet. Yet by some sorcery, Ropion has melded them into a truly lovely fragrance for Winter going into Spring. The anise and mint play well with cardamom and jasmine on my skin. It lasts all day with moderate sillage making it office friendly.

I am sampling Aimez-Moi this week, and it is really resonating with me- all of the initial sharpness I sensed from initially sniffing it from the bottle is gone- what I'm mainly picking up on my skin are violets and roses, with a soft dry-down- very appealing!

Wow!! I received a sample and immediately had to add a full bottle to my Christmas list! This is Really beautiful! I Hate mint in perfume, well so I thought. The mint makes this perfume:-)

Very chic and elegant representation of Iris and Violets. Sophisticated yet effortless. It has a 4-dimensional effect that you can only get it from true niche perfumery.

Very dry scent of anise, violets and mint. I like it a lot and I'm thinking to get a bottle, very fresh, tea-like scent. Reminds me of a rainy day.

Violets and mint. It's a love for me.

I adore the scent of candied violet pastilles. I had a tin as a child, so the scent is firmly attached to certain places and times. Unfortunately, many violet scents give me a headache. I tried and failed to find a violet-dominant scent early in my scent journey, so I gave up for many years. It's been 20 or so years since then, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered a bunch of testers of scents containing violet notes, and there were two standouts: Guerlain's Apres l'Ondee and Caron's Aimez Moi. Aimez Moi is not a tin of violet pastilles, not to my nose, anyway. It's richer, more complex. My husband thinks it smells like raisins in a good way, and I get that. I also can understand why another reviewer below smells a freshly opened pack of cigarettes, as those tend to have a raisiny smell, especially when the tobacco isn't too dried out. To me, though, it's a rich, raisiny, gently anise-y, slightly powdery violet scent that dries down to woody, musky base notes after a few hours (this phase is more generic but thankfully also relatively faint). If I had encountered Aimez Moi way back when I was first searching, I likely wouldn't have appreciated it. I wasn't a fan of powdery notes back then. But over time, I've come to appreciate the way notes intermingle and now even enjoy certain powdery perfumes (Keiko Mecheri's Loukhoum Parfum du Soir and Etro's short-lived Heliotrope are among my faves). I share because if you aren't a fan of powder, this scent may not be for you. I think I might really like Aimez Moi, so much so that I just ordered a bottle (I tried a sample first). It's a violet that feels elevated and wearable and, thankfully, isn't headache-inducing.

I have been longing to try this after all the beautiful reviews written. Finally got my bottle thanks to JazzBirdSinger!! I didn't like it at first sniff but I have learnt to give scents a chance and I am thoroughly glad that I have. It's gentle spices of cardamom and anise that are very obvious, with citrus and the violet leaf a little muted but still noticeable. I can't seem to find the violet flower in this but it doesn't matter as this is a truly beautiful scent. It does turn slightly sweeter in its drydown but not sugary sweet for those who abhore such scents. The version I have is the EDT and although I usually dislike them for being weaker, I have to say this formulation is strong enough to hold its own throughout the day. It stays close to the skin on me but a few more spritzes should take care of the projection I believe. This is worth a sample and since it's discontinued and hard to find, I would recommend snapping this up if you find it anywhere. It's worth a study and time. I can't rate it as one of my favorites but I can see why many people have. It's quality in a bottle and then some. I can't think of anything that quite smells like it. I have to add that every time I sniff this I am reminded of old spice stores that have almost completely gone to the ground in my country that is keen to modernize every inch of itself. My mom used to take me marketing for spices for cooking and this really takes me back there.

This is my first Caron.If Aiméz-Moi represents a certain "Caron-ness", I now declare myself a collector! It opens with very distinct anise/liqorice (I thought I didn't like liqorice, but maybe I should reconsider that). It quickly becomes slightly bitter and very spicy. Lots of violets, but I don't find it overall very floral, more aromatic. It turns sweeter quite fast, but it seems like a transparent sweetness that shifts with the spicy bitterness. The best way I can explain it is that it's like when I sniff my wrist, it's a very dramatic spiceyness, I breathe once more, and there's the sweet, romantic overlay. Next time the same happens. I don't find it girly, but mystrious, dramatic and very unique. I just love it. Really. edit: I must have been born under a lucky star. Every single time I bought a perfume blind, I've never been disappointed. Or maybe it's the reviews pages that do the trick... Edit again: The lasting power is incredible! 12 hours and more. That's unususal on my skin. I believe it would last 2 days on other people! Best thing is that the drydown stays spicy.

Thanks doctormod for the carded sample! I've been curious about this one for a while now :) Now that I have it, it was everything I expected. Anise and violet. If you don't like either of those notes, you'll need to look somewhere else. The begining is a whiplash of spices (anise, cardamom, and mint) with no citrusy bergamont to my nose. And of course violet. The overall impression is very unique and unusual; it's definitely a smell you would remember. I find that the anise and violet from the top notes stick around all the way down to the base. Along that fragrant journey down the rabbit-hole, you meet Mrs. Rose and (I swear it's there) Dame Carnation. Say hello briefly, wave goodbye, oh HELLO Mr. Sandalwood! And his good friends, Amber and Moss! This perfume is not my type (I dislike anise AND violet), but it is beautifully crafted and just adorable! I feel like it tells a story, an oriental fairytale full of spiced lands and magic carpets in the distance. An enjoyable voyage from the mundane. Now excuse me - I really need to go wash this off. :)

Oh, ok... this is Dominique Ropion, the king of flowers! I should have known! This is relatively new because 1996 is not the Middle Age! It gets me mad how perfumes from 80-90 are now considered "vintage" especially if reformulated! I have no idea if they still sell it and if it's unreformulated (i doubt so). I have a small splash bottle from 1996 and I find it lovely. It's a daring perfume, very romantic yet different with star anise and mint in the opening, it gives an initial brisk soon enveloped in beautiful flower heart. There is something dreamy and deeply romantic in this perfume, but not too much for the faint at heart. In spite of initial minty note the blend is lusciously floral in the best DR's way (think of Amarige, different but still floral-opulent). Violet is very prominent and linked to mint. I like this one. It has sillage and longevity. Also the bottle is interesting, but the jus inside is the jewel.

I do like the name, even if it sounds a bit desperate. ;) On second thought, I don't take it as desperate, just appealing. There is an innocence to Aimez-Moi. It performs as something light, unobtrusive, both sweet (violet candy) and bitter (iris, and maybe one facet of the cardamom). I love everything she is offering though. Reminds me of the way a child does not discriminate or judge her impressions, just registers all with neutrality and curiosity. If Aimez-moi has an attitude, it is happy acceptance, and she also asks to be accepted but she isn't going to force the matter! You cannot feel lonely with this perfume. I really would love to have this perfume. Beautiful. Not large sillage, but I don't have the spray, just a decant sample from Surrender to Chance. Thank you for that chance to try this perfume! Not long lasting on my skin, just a couple hours. But very nice all the while.

Hmm... I didn't think that I would like this one but I DOOOO! Star anise, mint and violets sounded like a diasterous combination and I was also afraid that the violet would dissapear somewhere in between these potent herbs. But instead it is enhanced by the anis and made fresh by the mint. Also, since I've been sampling Lolita Lempicka so much I no longer worry about licorice notes. Instead I find them quite fascinating. But this is not a gourmand, it's a slightly spiced up violet on a powdery soft flower pillow. It is very delightful. And I do love Carons way of making the basenotes so delicate and well balanced. Well done Caron, I just wish that it would last longer on my skin.

It opens with this oddly beautiful minty note mixed with a hint of licorice, which may not sound great but smells fantastic. I get quite a bit of powdery iris and magnolia for quite a while after spraying this one and it is lovely because it is not too overpowering or sickeningly sweet. The perfume has a very subtle note in the drydown and is quite faint in the traces it leaves on the skin. I can detect soft hints of what must be heliotrope still mixed in with a subtle minty fragrance 8 hours after I applied it. Lovely and yet sexy. I completely agree with others who describe this scent as romantic.

I can't make up my mind if I want Aimez Moi or not. I'm not very found of the opening of the edt. Too much of everything and actually a bit headache inducing. But then, after about an hour it developes into a beautiful fairytale fragrance. A pixie's scent :). At this stage i love it, and I think it resembles Lolita Lempicka a lot BUT it smells much better, more varying from the touch of both citrus and mint. During the next stage it starts to fade and I'm not very pleased with either the projection or the duration of this scent. But the heartnotes, which lasts a couple of hours, are to die for.

I'm pretty desperate to try this one , I am loving the descriptions by other members :) I have a thing for VIOLET at the moment , and I'm intrigued by JazzBird's comment of "finally, a violet perfume that isn't completely bitterly green or overloaded with sugar!". Im having great difficulty finding this in the UK. Of course i could order online from 1 of the big international fume sites ,but as its been described as a "weirdo " i need to test first. Im also very keen to try - Apres L'Ondee. Please if anyone has any tester vials to swap or sell , PM me !!

Lovely Iris scent by Caron. Ive tested this in the summer fall and winter and performs better for me in winter. If you want to get a handle on a true iris scent, this is a great one when the heart opens up. I dont understnad why this isnt more popular.I find it better quality than Guerlain. Caron isnt easily available or visible in the market anymore. Shame their game isnt modernized with these great classics they have in their inventory. Definately a great buy for iris lovers.

I didnt expect to like it because I have tried some of Caron`s frags before and they smelled kinda old-fashioned to my nose.I know that they are old classic,but i didnt liked them.I risked and i got it blind..and I fell in love from the first sniff!I RELLY LOVE IT!Very fresh and anise opening,sparkling,bright and sofisticated.Then it settles down to a nice lil powdery violet+heliotrope scent which lasts and lasts and make me feel so dam happy!:)love it!

this smells like peachy violets with star anise. an interesting combination, that i never would've thought would work but it does. at first this smells very 90s to me. it definitely reminds me of tresor, and the anise is similar to the one in lolita lempicka...kind of if those scents had a baby, with an amber-vanilla background. after 30 minutes plus this gets really gorgeous, mostly a peachy vanilla amber. love it.

Actually, I think you should try this especially if you don't get along with violets. They are mostly to sweet for my skin, but there is something with this composition and pairing with the anis and cardamon that brings out the depth of the color purple. Rich, full, classic in character but still original and one of a kind in its personality.

I have two bottles of this. i love Caron. I hate this. Ick. Tobacco bitter wood in the top like an old vintage frag gone off. Florals that are sharp in the middle and that tobacco scent in the base. I love tobacco but this is uncured tobacco leaves. Anyone who has smelled them or smoked them will know how ugh they are.

OMG what a Beautifull and sweet daytime scent this is !! Soft, alluring, sweet but not candy like sweetness. Totally unrated imho. Very good with quality, long lasting.. wow. Very beautifull floral, did not notice oriental part, this is that soft and well balanced. Definitely I would recommend to try this Gem.
