Infini (2021)

It is a very lovely scent! So aquatic with natural soft sweetness! It doesn’t sound like niche or something extraordinary, you may also find lots of alternatives for the Infini. For me it is very similar to Si Passione/ Armani, but less intense, less sweet. Highly recommend to test if you love soft floral composition. Ps: Black currant is not loud here and almost invisible, same as smoky notes, promised by Caron. Infini is super feminine, super delicate and may pass to any occasion. It is the safest fragrance as a blind buy or a gift. It is definitely my Caron’s favorite.

This opens with a lovely pear note. I really enjoy the opening. After that I get a soft, sweet and slightly soapy jasmine scent with a creamy vanilla base. I enjoy the scent but find it a little generic and overpriced. If I saw it at a discounter I would pick up a full bottle though.

What happened to Caron? I owned a few of their perfumes years ago and loved them. Then the department store that sold them went out business and I wasn't able to buy their perfumes anymore. This is a shadow fragrance. Weak, Weak, Weak! It reminds me of God is a Woman by AG. There is pear but it is weak and watered down. I can smell all the notes in this fragrance, but they are very faint and have a cheap plastic smell. Glad I only got a sample. A once great house is now just like so many others destroyed by IFRA.

Definitely not a single concoction from the cuisinier. Shame on the heads of the former house noses.

Soft, aquatic pear and black currant scent. Very pretty and likable but also somewhat generic. I am not familiar with the vintage formula but I don't imagine it being this bland...now I would like to order a little vintage bottle.
