Rose Ivoire de Caron (2021)

The more I wear this, the more I like it. It's like emerging from a luxurious bath using expensive rose soap that lingers all day. It's topped with a powdery light freshness that's balanced with sheer muskiness. Roses shine throughout in the most delicious way. I'm obsessed.

Like a subtle “expensive rose soap” as idkyoutellme has said. I would agree that this is a classy and understated rose rather than a cheap overpowering one. A little uninspired perhaps, but sometimes that is what you need.

Ohhhh, so much aldehydes! The first that come to my minds after I sprayed it was- retro, powder...! I guess everyone tried once to use a soap with pure scent of roses (bitter red rose and nothing else)- that is what I feel. Rose Ivoire sounds very simple, loud and unfortunately not interesting. Rose+ Iris that’s all!

Musk and rose dream duo .. Powdery iris and warm ambrette giving a vintage like base (just like the rest of caron DNA) to this super feminine combo .. Caron is one of the houses that perform drastically different on different surfaces as if its completely different perfume although all coming from same bottle .. on testing paper the musk is invisible which is a main charachter missing making u think its all powdered rose fragrance .. on clothes/fabric the musk shows unapologetically in a very indolic form .. while the best scenario is on skin , it radiates all of the notes in a very balanced way like they intent to be .. This perfumes is in same category of lancome peut etre .. which is also soft rose musk .. if like that u will definitely like this

This reminds me of a cross between Frederic Malle's Lipstick Rose and L'Eau D'Hiver. I really like it, it's sophisticated, pretty, and easy to wear. I've been impressed with all the new Caron releases that I've tried, and the releases are very good renditions of the previous vintages.

Soft powdery rose, soapy and creamy all at the same time. Innocent and very feminine, smooth, classic without smelling old. Imagine a spring bride wearing soft white chiffon dress. This scent would fit very well. I think I will order a bottle.

Asked the lady at the perfumery to give me st with pink pepper she gave me this. I'm a 40yo male, not butch but man enough I like to think. Someone gifts me this baby I'd wear it np
