Intenso di Ginestra

Omg this is so special. Got it as sample together with the other two of the Intenso line of this house. I'm a great admirer of this house. But this one hit me of my chair. I even can start to describe the sensation it gives. The perfume opens immediately with a herbal spicy flower note. Not used to broom but I smell the jasmine comes in it. If broom is a bit honey-sweet it is also in there. Then is changes to a bit citric-bitter-sweet tone. Then it changes to a more woody-musky vanilla hint. The silage is moderate and longevity too. But it is such a beautiful composition. I guess it is more for summertime.

I am not sure if it's my general dislike towards jasmine but this perfume gives me a headache. I do believe it might be related to my skin not tolerating the notes. I get a lot of jasmine, a bit of broom, a scent of wheat in summer. The dry down is sweet but sticky, reminds me of lemon candy my grandma used to love. With that, it has this vintage, nostalgic, old vibe which might suit some profiles.

Its cute - albeit the neroli keeps it a bit vintage. Definitely comfy but would need a touch of something pulpy to ballance the vibe. Maybe thhe house thought not to add sweetness so it could be seen as completely unisex, which it is, but the overall effect could have been elevated. 6.8/10
