Déclaration Eau de Parfum

This is GORGEOUS and instantly went to the top of my to-buy list. I love fragrances with spices but sometimes they can be a bit too strong and overbearing. But this is a marvelous, spicy blend with this beautiful tea note and an almost watercolor sort of vibe. The cardamom note is so realistic - it smells exactly like pounding cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle. The cinnamon is definitely there (and I am happy that it is) but I feel like the cardamom is just as strong, as well as the ginger. The oversoul of the Declaration line emerges in the drydown, but for most of the life of the fragrance it's fairly linear and is basically a lovely, airy spicy delight. Seriously, if you're into spices this is a no-brainer. I'd sort of describe it as like a chai without milk. My gf's first reaction was, "It smells like an Indian businessman" which made me very sad but there is a maturity to the scent which just comes with the territory for Cartier. But I feel like it feels wise, almost ascetic. I sort of imagine it's what the Buddha would have smelled like or something. I'd definitely wear this to a temple or for a period of contemplation in a desert. Not a "fun" scent and definitely not sexy but it is just so beautiful.

Quiet but not shy. This is calming and cool. This doesn’t shout or smell like you’re trying too hard. If you want to smell good, this is it. Tea takes center stage on my skin. I get this mellow feeling from this note that I hadn’t expected to find here. You may encounter mentions of common candies and liquors that have cinnamon in them when you read up on this fragrance. I think this is more because these are some of the few places that people’ve encountered cinnamon and less because this fragrance matches the olfactory profile of those things. Cinnamon is done exceptionally well here. Not cinnamon roll, not flavored whiskey. Cinnamon. The kind of fragrance that makes people slow down and take an extra little breath when you’re around. I’d wear this day or night and all year round. Can’t get enough.

Very nice scent. Kind of builds for the first hour and the cinnamon dissipates, making way for a solid incensed black tea note and spices, but not overpowering spices. People are making too much of a deal about the cinnamon; it isn't that bad after the initial spritz. The dry down is a little sweet to me. Reminds me of Lalique Homme Equus or Armani Eau de Cedre. I wasn't impressed at first, but it became a little addictive after a few minutes passed. Kept putting nose to wrist to figure out where this was headed next. The scent seems fitted well for warm weather as much as cold. Performance (longevity and projection) are inline with others from the Déclaration line. Wow, just amazing. First of all people need to understand that cardamom and cinnamon are two different spices, and even though this has both, it is the best rendition of cardamom note in a designer scent, and not a cinnamon stick thrown into the perfume bottle like some of the comments suggest. If you want realistic cinnamon go try Eyes Closed by Byredo. It has been so long since I was impressed with a designer, because everything smells faint or like a room freshener or strait up alcohol, but not this. if you ever had the opportunity to grind the cardamom seeds in a pestle and then smell the spice it will smell exactly like the opening of Declaration and for that realistic approach I applaud the perfumer

Wonderful take on the classic Déclaration. It is indeed quite spicy; cinnamon, cardamom and ginger are very noticeable. To me, this is very much in line with the Déclaration line, undeniably so. The cumin is even more toned down than in the Parfum version but it’s still quite present. This perfume gives me so much joy. It’s a clear representation that great perfume can still be made by large houses at reasonable prices. This line is to me, a very good example of how good flankers are done. Each new flanker brings a different and unique facet to the original creation. This has probably become my favorite Déclaration and I am looking forward to trying the new Essence as well. I am a huge declaration fan and receive this as a Christmas giDeclaration fan. I received this as a Christmas gift, and I am in love with it. It’s very unique, spicy, smoky woodland, with a strong tea note different from the original and perfume. It may not be for everybody, but it’s very unique.

Adding ginger to the spices make Declaration EDP becomes so good for summer in Asia. It starts with fresh and a bit citrus notes, and end with gentle spice as Declaration should be. While the performance is way better than the EDT version. I'll add this to my collection for sure.

A surprising fragrance for me... the combination of tea and cinnamon created an artistic dimension. Perfect as a personal signature scent. I’ve fallen in love with it — my rating: 8.5/10.

In my opinion this’s the most versatile and mature flanker of the line. Less citrusy and more spicy, the combination with tea is outstanding! it’s really good.

Big like, declaration soul, bolder, when the cardamom and smoked tea tries to jump on your face, cinnamon take them under its wings in a dark and wet place.

Honest review. Great notes , it's a solid linear fragrance. In my opinion one of the stronger offerings from cartier. Not the greatest longevity and more of a skin scent esp after a couple hours. Still quite pleasant. Also fairly unisex. I think my favorite tea frag ATM is still jo malone orange blossom. Though I would like to get my nose on armani yulong as I've heard it's slightly similar in a way to LV imagination. (Imagination for me suffers from lack of longevity, like many other citris heavy frags, also the price is a point of contention) Could consider adding this fragrance to my collection at some point but it's still pretty low on my list. I have to really love a frag to add it these days , and this is to me a solid 7/10

Déclaration Eau de Parfum Cartier: The Spiced Tea This is essentially a beautiful tea fragrance mixed with a variety of spices. The cardamom is the most dominant to my nose, but you can feel all the other spices working in the background. It reminds me exactly of a special tea I make with white and green tea, cinnamon, and lots of cardamom. It is masterfully blended with high-quality materials. Since it has both refreshing tea and warm spices, it’s perfect for all seasons and feels perfectly unisex. Rating: 7.5/10

I really laugh when I see the “this perfume reminds me of” what a misleading info. This Déclaration eau de parfum had nothing to do with the original and the parfum one! Not either similar to Voyage d’Hermes parfum. It’s a cloves & cardamon spicy fragrance, a spicy tea one!!!

Beautiful spicy version of Déclaration! Very comforting and soothing for winter and cold weather. Cloves and ginger are dominant here. No citrus top notes as this fragrance opens up with a spices scent as the ones in the chai latte. I really like it!

'Warm Spicy' is my thing... but holy coumarin batman, this is an absolute cinnamon BOMB. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and more cinnamon. Smells nothing like the EDT or Parfum. Closer to Tonka Cola or Ambre Nuit Esprit, but lacking nuance. Straight up Churro absolute!

Expected orange, apparently the formulation is completely different to the EDT. Solely spicy profile, did not feel fresh which is what i was looking for. Guess it’s for someone, just not me.

To my nose, this smells like what it was trying to accomplish, just mixed with urine and pickle juice. Truly not for me.

چای ارل گری با عطر هل کارتیه در جدیدترین اثر خود از لاین دکلاریشن ادکلنی معرفی کرده در قالب دکلاریشن ادوپارفوم . محصولی که تاکید بسیار ویژه بر دو نت اصلی این ادکلن یعنی چای و هل داره و دیگر نت ها مخصوصا در نسخه اصلی ملموس نیست . ادکلن از اون حالت کمپلکس خارج شده و تاکید خاصی به بوی هل داره .این شدید ترین و عجیب ترین و یا شاید زیبا ترین اور دوز ازنت هل باشه . بوی ی قوری چینی چای سرد شده که توش چندتا هل بوده . یا بوی باقلوای های یزدی که توشون خیلی هل داره ... ادویه های دیگه هم بسیار زیاد قابل احساسه دارچین زنجبیل . فلفل سیاه. زیره ولی هل سبز حرف اول و آخر رو میزنه . خیلی جالبه که چقدر زیبا با آکورد سبز و با حس چای این نت گرم و خشک مهار شده . من چندبار این ادکلن زیبا رو با دقت تست کردم اولا که فراز و فرود و تغییر ملموس در رایحه ایجاد نمیکنه .یعنی همون حالت بوی چای ارل گری تقویت شده با برگاموت و هل و اکورداسپایسی از شروع تا پایین وجود داره فقط ملایم میشه . تو قلب ادکلن وقتی از استارت ادکلن دور میشی اون حس قوی و شدید هل کم میشه و به دکلاریشن اصلی شبیه تر میشه و حالت موسکی به خودش میگیره. فضای این نسخه دکلاریشن شبیه عطرهای نیش و آرتیستیک شده یعنی ی نت خیلی بالا معرفی می‌کنه که اینجا هل سبز هست . من خیلی خیلی دوستش دارم .شاید بشه تو روزهای سرد سال ازش بهترین نتیجه رو گرفت . کیفیت عالیه برخلاف نسخه پارفوم این نسخه ادوپارفوم واقعا عالی از آب در اومده . نت هل بسیار قوی زیبا و رئال از کار در اومده . پرفرومنس هم بسیار قابل قبوله . اگه مثل من عاشق بوی هل هستید این ادکلن جذاب رو از دست ندید ...

Declaration Eau de Parfum is a woody and spicy fragrance. At first, you can feel the DNA of the Declaration line, but it lasts for a maximum of 5 minutes before turning into a very spicy fragrance. I had read that it was a cinnamon bomb, and that's partially true, because more than cinnamon, this literally smells like a tea I've occasionally had called Chai tea, which has a high concentration of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and pepper. There's even a slight green accord. But overall, this smells like that tea, which gives me mixed feelings, since I like the tea and its aroma. However, I don't know if I'd like to smell like that. Because of the spicy notes, this is a fragrance more suitable for fall and winter, although cool spring days or even a night out could also be an option. Based on my perception and experience with chai tea, I have a hard time imagining what situations it could be used in—perhaps casual outings, outdoors, etc. Regarding its longevity on me, it was very good, lasting over 8 hours and with a regular sillage, noticeable at least from a meter away. In my opinion, I liked it less than other fragrances in the Declaration line, but I don't want to discourage anyone from trying it and forming their own opinion of the perfume.

I agree with the user who called it a warm chai. It is quite comforting and sweet. Spice melange of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg to my nose. The ginger does serve to brighten it up in comparison to the deeper/darker parfum. I almost get a spiced ginger candy facet. Probably best for a 30+ audience but not nearly as scary as some reviews would have you believe. A fall scent for sure. 8.0/10

Declaration EDP is what you get if you take the EDT and spilled it in a jar of Cinnamon. The Cinnamon takes over the entire DNA that you might enjoy in the original. You have to be a really a cinnamon lover to enjoy this. Its so realistic and authentic cinnamon but I cant think of a single occasion where I would wear over the original EDT (warmer weather) or the Parfum (colder weather)

Haven't been a Déclaration fan (although I do like the Haute Fraiche and d'Un Soir flankers). I may be convinced, however, to pick up a bottle of this. It's definitely got the Déclaration DNA. Perfect for spring or autumn. None of that vanilla/bubblegum business going on here. This is a grown-up's fragrance. Smells like money. Money and cinnamon.

Declaration original is a great male fragrance. My favorite frag for man is L' home ideal from Guerlain, I would say second spot is Declaration. Let's see this version, from the notes sounds great.

Dislike. Very singular cinnamon-ginger experience. Does nothing to inspire anything interesting other than gingerbread cookies...and later some cedar
