Bears strong similarities to Tom Ford Tobacco Oud at the start, but not as loud or dirty, and that may or not be a positive depending on personal preference. This feels like a heavy labdanum in the amber and what I assume is the drier qualities of the intensified honey aspect provides a tobacco-like feel, but there is also a slight ambery sweetness from it that is similar in a way with the raisin-esque whiskey note of the TF (that sets it apart from other Tobacco fragrances in my opinion), without actually being sweet overall. Definitely not a big projection, being a parfum, but a great scent and you could draw a genealogical line that connects it with the edt, although the scent itself is a much different feel, and also important to note that it doesn’t smell as similar to the edp from what I recall, which is a plus for me personally. Overall it’s a resinous, slightly smokey amber at the start, that dries down to a more intense smelling but not performing version of the edt.

It’s decent. Quite good actually. Similar in style to the l’heures voyageuses line in terms of style just a tad less finessed and definitely performs better. I get a fossilized amber feeling which is not the typical dry one you get but more syrupy and slightly resinous. Initial projection is strong but once the top notes settle it’s moderate. On skin beautiful. You could wear this in the heat with 2-3 sprays making it all season. Quite nice in the summer heat actually but goes back to your stance on ambers I like ambers in humid weather with mildly hot temperatures because the just feel so right there. Obviously if it gets too hot then it can get cloying if u overspray. I like it a lot but the rating is quite high maybe 4.2 closer to what I feel. Definitely the L’Heures Voyageuses has some gems prettier than this. Oud & Ambre is the closest but definitely better smelling and possibly just a little better performing if you ignore the opening. Solid release but far ML’s greatest work. Value for money though not bad can be found discounted around $70.

Someway, somehow I managed to purchased this at a decent price on eBay. BNIB. Curious and excited to smell how this one compares to the edp (I haven't smelled the EDT). First initial spray had me paused and pondering. To my nose the woody note is very pungent very off putting. Borderline animalic. As it settles the woodiness turns tobacco-ish with the slightest touch of honey and iris. Very different from the EDP. Not as mass appealing as it's EDP counter part. This is more masculine as well. The dry down is a lot more pleasant than the opening. Not a safe blind buy, if you do buy make sure your paying the lowest price possible. I give it a 3.5/5.

This must have been a failed production or release for I haven't seen this anywhere available, nor have I heard about it only yet. (only 7 votes, that tells how limited was the access to this product)
