Pasha de Cartier Edition Noire Sport

I really like this house, they have some great masculine fragrances, there's always a great unique touch and elegance to it. I'm not overly crazy about the Pasha edition noir, but this one hit the spot, a more youthful vibe but not for the younger crowd, I would say 25+ up. For the people who think this is overly classic fragrance, the bottle although beautiful indeed make us think that, but it's not the case here. It starts with a very fresh and juice citrus, but a very unique citrus, I believe I haven't smelled a citrus like this one, is not lemon, nor bergamot, nor orange, it's like a mix of citrus fruits which give a vibe of a very fresh citrus melon type (it's not exactly sweet nor sour, perfectly balanced). The top last quite a bit, that wonderful citrus note, maybe 2 hours at least, then it starts to develop into an even more manly scent (here's when the resembles of the Pasha noir starts to take place) a bit of a sour but creamy sandalwood and cedar, I believe the amber gives it more deep to it but's not very noticeable. In all this it has some water nuances, not overly aquatic (I don't really like aquatics very much) that gives it a more fresh and summer vibe. A really wonderful composition, and that bottle? A Masterpiece! The performance is what expected, but much better then most fresh fragrances out there, I get about 4 to 6 hours, although I have got passed the 6 hour mark, probably depending on the heat (right now, it's very hot summer days so the longevity it's a bit less) To me it an overall 8 out of 10 The only negative thing I have to say is, why not sell a 50ml bottle also? I would much rather buy a 50ml then a 100ml of this juice.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It usually takes me a good while to put a dent in a cologne but this one is definitely getting its use. I could not disagree more with the review below . It's a solid evening sport fragrance. The base notes are just enough to carry water and sea notes through the entire life of the fragrance . You smell the mid and top notes just as much as the base so it keeps that fresh scent through out with the zip or the citrus. At first you get a cloud of the citrus . It's like a bowl of different types or fresh and dry oranges. The water is light before the sea notes really blend with the citrus and create that sport scent. It meets the noir phase when the woods come in. But what I really love is that the base notes are very subtle. You know they are there but the top and mid notes are what stay singing for the longevity of the fragrance . The citrus does change to more of a dark semi dry citrus. To me this is more of an evening fragrance that can be worn year round. But honestly it can be worn almost any time . Sillage , with a normal amount of sprays 4-5 you're getting about 3 to 4 ft . It does go down after about an hour. Longevity on the skin it's about 5 to 6 hours . On clothing I've been able to smell it the following morning. Overall this is exactly what it says it is, a solid evening sport fragrance. It's modern its fresh it has warmness . Pasha sport could be one of the best designer aquatic/citrus on the market. It is truly elegant and a refreshing scent. It opens very fruity/citrus and with a sea note that is so cooling for the summer months. i have been wearing this for the last two weeks. The scent has good projection and very good lasting power. It still has pasha noir in the background but with added freshness. This can work as a classy aquatic scent for going out during spring/summer days and night. Also this scent does not have a heavy synthetic blast in the opening compared to other fresh aquatics on the market, so the quality is very good. The scent is very well blended. There is a subtle watermelon/berry vibe which is amazing. the bottle design is a work of art with this scent. sprayer is very generous so no more than 3 sprays are required with this. If you are a fan of high quality aquatics look no further. If you already own pasha noir edition, this can still work as a day time alternative or for warmer days. i have both of these side by side at work at the perfume section and often test the two to see the difference and they are almost the same but the sport is much more fresher out of the two and the noir edition is more woody also a great scent. edit lasting power 7-10 hours give or take with 4 sprays

Really, really, really, like it!! Is it similar to others?... yes. Is it lacking performance?... sadly, yes. Should it be in a red bottle and called “noire”?... definitely not!!! But is it a really good fragrance?... YES IT IS!!! The Citruses are delicious, not bitter, not too sweet, not tart... just delicious!! The Watery and Sea notes are amazingly done... somehow powdery and very refreshing. The Cedar and Sandal create a manly aura behind the scent... and finally, the Amber, not very present and certainly not enough to label this perfume as “Noire”, but enough to make it a very cozy fresh scent. Very reminiscent of the original Perry Ellis For Men from the nineties, just without the extreme aromatic sweetened note that Perry Ellis had, which gave me headaches. Mass pleasing, clean smelling... in fact, expensive clean smelling... and a real surprise!! Can be worn in any weather, day or night... and even being slightly geared towards men, it could easily pass as unisex. Performance is not good, you will need constant reapplying throughout the day in order to last, but honestly, I have very expensive perfumes that last as much, if not less... so, for the price is a very good buy... ...and besides... I love how it smells!!

The opening is very bland and generic, in all honesty. I blind bought it and in the first 5 minutes i felt like i wasted money. Until the mid hit after about 10 minutes, then i got hooked. Very classy take on a "sporty" frag. Cartier frags always smell high end and this is no different. It's fresh, but also warm and kinda spicy, but also floral. Yeah, all over the place, but it works, There's a subtle powdery factor here too but just enough so it doesn't get cloying or unwearable during the summer. If i could compare this to something it would be Prada Luna Rossa Ocean. Not the scent itself, but the idea and feeling behind it: take a generic genre and make it smell different and lux. Just wait for the mid and drydown before you dismiss this one. EDIT: i don't know about other people's skin but i can vouch for 9 hours on this fragrance on my skin. It mutes after a couple of hours but if i start to sweat or my body heats up a little bit it "comes alive" again very noticeably. I have the same "issue" with Varvatos' XX, Kenzos and Bvlgari fragrances.

I love this fragrance. Sure it's not the craziest or most unique scent but it's extremely easy to like. The sweet citruses and watery notes give it a nice freshness making it great for hotter days. This is a masculine fragrance that's slightly more mature. This sport fragrance has high versatility and could be worn at day and night imo. I don't see it listed here but I do get some kind of juicy apple or melon note and it's fire. Performance is pretty avg. I did 5 sprays and it projected for an hour and lasted about 5 hours as a skin scent (maybe 6 if I sniffed hard enough). I can see this being a great gym or dinner out scent. Overall it's definitely worth the sniff. You can find it at most Bloomingdales and Nordstroms. The performance is bit of a bummer but for a sport fragrance I didn't expect it to be a beast plus, you can always overspray or reapply.

I initially didn't think much of this frag, but after having it sit on my counter for months without use, I decided to give it another try (or five). I actually really, really like it now! Not mind blowing by any means, but it's a very nice citrus aromatic fresh scent that exudes high quality. Perfect for short errands like shopping or the gym as the longevity isn't the best. Can't really go wrong with this one. It's really pleasant, safe and guaranteed to make you smell good even if it isn't the most unique scent in the world.

Such lovely scent Pasha de Cartier ENS is. I do love cedar notes, and this one is no different. Cedar is more that just woody note, it is so distinctive and unique. Notes of cedar, amber and sandalwood blend and integrate very well to create a pleasant aroma. Citrus notes are very noticeable and balance the woody notes to create such an elevated fragrance. I love Pasha de Catier ENS, and it is suitable to be worn on morning or nights equally. It is classy and masculine with a neat vibe and character.

Pasha de Cartier, as a line of fragrances, is simply outstanding. Elegant and masculine. Cartier didn’t set out to reinvent the wheel when coming up with Edition Noir Sport, but what they did wildly succeed in doing was make a more casual, sporty fragrance that remains true to the line. It’s probably the most versatile of the Pashas -all seasons, day and night. A few sprays leave me smelling great for hours without a hint of “trying too hard”. A very confidence inspiring fragrance.

Hidden gem. This is one of the best smelling and smoothest citrus colognes in my collection. You get grapefruit, orange, mandarin with beautiful woodsy basenotes. Best citruses/fruity opening that you can get. Catrier Quality. So simple or "generic" in a good way. natural and elegant. One of my most Complements getters. Projection is great and longevity is extremely good on clothes for a fresh scent. The best blind buy in my experience for 38 USD / 100 ml discounted price.

This is a perfect all around staple. I just feel like its the epitome of the color of the bottle. As someone who always liked the red starbursts red fruit snacks and red fruits. I just get fresh deep red berries vibes. It doesn't project or last beastmode but this fragrance is perfect for errands, office, gym or just a casual day or night out if you dont want to be the one rocking the usual suspects. Quality youd expect from Cartier. One of my all time faves.

I only have this because it was cheap, but it's nice, airy, citruisy, albeit, synthetic. The bottle colour is impressive. Useful as a budget beater scent for gym/Summer/after shower if you can get it cheap. Reminds me of Versace Man Eau Fraiche, in that it is just as airy, but while the Versace dilutes to a skin scent immediately, this has a better sillage and smells better.

If you're new to the fraggame like me, then you'll absolutely love this. 1 of those mouthwatering scents. As a beginner i would say this isn't very complexed, but also quite a few miles away from something generic. I'd say this can be my first ever eyeroller scent, coming from a guy who has sniffed Sauvage 10 times, and thinks it's overrated af.

A betterversion of bulgari acqua amara for me, long lasting summer spring scent. I like it and i will try the noir version after this. Luckly i don't need to buy the more knew acqua amara, i like this more. The opening is the same as the drydown. The noire version do not have the same opening and dry down... this version is better for me.

Good free sample of this upon my first sniff I fell in love with it. It took me several months before I pull the trigger and did a full bottle purchase. And when I first sprayed it. A full shot Brought me back memories Of another great fresh scent cologne by Mont blanc legend spirit and days to have a close resemblance.

I like it so much! pleasant classy fresh fragrance. The bottle is cute but the red colour of the bottle reminds something of hot... I never got amazing compliments like this one! My friends told me: wow you smell amazing! What perfume is? Girl said : wow is so sexy! Guys this is amazing!

Very pleasant summer scent. Not very special but totally friendly and easy to wear. Regular but beautifully blended. It starts citrusy, ozonic and bright , and dries down clean woody with faint touch of amber. 4/5 Age:+25 More casual Spring and summer days. Fair lasting and projection.

This is basically Hero EDT but has way more lasting power and better in every way. Super underpopular scent! If you like how natural and clean Hero EDT is, but want something with slightly more oomf and a better price, this is a safe blind buy.

I tried the entire line today at Dillards and this was the best. It’s deeper and richer than the original EDT but still retains the classy DNA. This was my favorite as well as the original EDT.

As a Pasha de Cartier Flankers collector I can tell this is one of the best, I haven't had such much compliments coming out at the same time wearing a cologne in while. To be continued...

Keep circling back to this one getting samplers. I love the fresh smell of it but it sort of reminds me of car-wash soap smell. Not sure that's the smell I want associated with me.

Oh Cartier...I can't help but feel slightly let down by this. It's not bad as such, a clearly modern aquatic, with a citrus opening and evident staying power but I can't say I liked it. There's far better offerings out there for those of us who want this sort of fragrance. I never really liked the Noire version either after finally seeking it out due to how good the original Pasha de Cartier is. This is basically a sport flanker of an inferior flanker in the first place and I hate to be a nay saying, fanboy type but I kinda expect more from Cartier. I'm the first to berate people who say that about Dior or YSL but in Cartier's case they have a smaller more focused line and audience and subsequently less need to release 'filler' I thought? They are at the classier end of the designer spectrum, at least that's my perception. As such they don't feel the need to kowtow to the mooing masses and bang out flankers and fragrances for the sake of it, to compete with 1 Million or Eros. I don't feel that's what Edition Noire Sport is but it doesn't have the unique nature of Declaration or the mainstream, accessible, dignity of Roadster, or any of their flankers to be fair. I just see this as a 'meh' release and maybe I'm over thinking things and should just take it at face value but I was genuinely excited when I saw this cool looking bottle in store, only to be left feeling slightly empty. My advice is to get the original Pasha de Cartier and avoid the flankers because even the current formulation is far better and more interesting than this.

I happened across this at Nordstrom today...it's not on the website but I guess it's starting to pop up in places other than Macy's so take a look if you happen to be there. I really don't mind it. It's not a typical 'sport' version of a fragrance and the citrus is toned down and plays well with the 'noire' aspect of the original flanker (does that make sense?). I think the watery/marine notes play a much larger role than in a lot of other 'sport' flankers...it makes a very refreshing difference. It's subtle after it dries down but the longevity seems pretty decent...I didn't take a sample because I'm a moron. It's noncommittal, but it's nice and definitely safe. UPDATE 1/6/16: This stuff is REALLY NICE! The beginning is really different thanks to the melon/watery notes, taking this out of the realm of the usual 'sport' flanker. I would consider using this as a daily scent during the spring and summer. A sleeper? Probably not but definitely worth your time. Just FYI: if you're on the wire after trying it, wait 6 months and it will be on eBay for a fraction of what it costs in the department stores. It always winds up that way with Cartier.

Cartier Pasha Noire (VS) Carter Pasha Noire Sport Winner: Carter Pasha Noire Reasons: pasha noire has a deeper richness / appreciation of interesting notes; which also allows for it to be worn more year round. pasha noire carries floral, pepper and clove notes: citrus, floral, wood, spice, and 'aqua' notes. whereas the noire sport version provides a respectable 3 tier. but the light hint of spice gives pasha noire the win for a more intriguing fragrance. however, noire sport does seem to have a stronger dose of citrus oils, which allows that citrus scent to linger around a lot longer. + although there are no floral notes listed in noire sport, it still feel as if there are floral notes. Lasting Power: noire sport - below average. 3 hours, with the last 2 hours as being a skin scent. pasha noire - average with 4 hours, last 3 as skin scent. ages: 16+ for males. 18+ for females ps. i totally agree @smellavision. a strong 'like' for scent, but forgettable.

I just don't get the "noire" in the name. Let me start by stating this : I voted "like" for this scent, as I doubt that many people would dislike the smell of freshness. That being said, I find it really hard to make out the notes of this one - I get some blended citrus fruits (can't tell which), some aquatics and some woods, but overall it's like a big potpourri. Smells nice, but very generic and forgettable. In short : a people pleaser that smells more like a deodorant, car freshener or carpet cleaning agent than a perfume. The most fitting environment I could see this being used in would be the gym - that would also be fitting with the name. In the meantime I'll keep looking for the first scent from Cartier that I really enjoy. Meh!

Its good just not a "1 of 1 standout in the room" scent I personally look for. Its great for smelling good all year round to be honest, but def a summer scent. I overspray like 7x per wear as I daily it and I still feel as I don't really smell it but maybe that's just me the silage at peak though is a nice mod area without whole room smelling you - its who you're around. I've gotten only complements with it on so it seems to be a good scent to most people at least not offensive or anything. If you want a scent that is mod and good for spring/summer daily then this is for you. Just FYI for those in hot areas or who sweat a lot I notice it has a bad reaction to even a little moisture but that just my subjective take.

At first spray, all I can remember was how fruity and uplifting this was. It caught me by suprise. It is very smooth and masculine. Definitely aimed at the younger crowd. It starts out with a juicy fruity blast and then the water notes kick in. At the end its quite good with the cedar blending it all in giving it some depth. Bear with me as I say it certainly reminds me Lacoste Red. The difference is the staying power and obviously the quality. I see this fragrance as a favorite among the ladies...hands down. Very juicy/summery/masculine....I like it and will use it a bunch this summer. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Overall: Nothing ground-breaking, but just plain good.

i am not very keen on pasha cartier at first, tried in the morning and didnt like it, was on wardrobe on almost 1 month, tonight, i was finished a work and get home exhausted, after take a bath, i would have something fresh and energise, i looked into a label, noire sport, i tried, and wow... i like it, i would suggest to use this fragrances after gym, around evening, in weekend , not for a date out, but just stay fresh after take a bath, and just watching tv. probably take it before sleep, it is refreshing.. thats why is called noire sport... i just realised that i didnt like it, because this fragrances is not designated for morning, somehow, is just timing that makes differences,

Never smelt the original. For whatever reason I honestly expected some dated smelling juice. But this was really nice....a good fruity/citrus opening over some aquatic and fougere notes with some woods in the base also. Projection was average on me, but longevity was very good on my skin. It's a winner in my opinion. It reminded me of a couple other scents in the drydown.....one was Azzaro Nighttime but can't remember the other off the top of my head.(maybe a little of the reformed Xeryus Rouge?) But a nice, quality fragrance offering with some uniqueness to it as well.

I`m writing this review from a woman`s point of view. This is a really nice aquatic perfume, although I`m not a fan of them, as they usually smell like soap. As every perfume which has `sport` in its name, it`s light, casual, but Pasha has that something that makes it different. It is stronger and lasts longer. It has Pasha Noir vibe ( my hubby also has it), so it`s not so ordinary and boring. I love it on him and it can be also worn at night during summer as it has this elegant trait, unlike most other aquatic fragrances. On the scale of 10, I`d give it 8.

It's actually pretty good as a sport fragrance. On paper it's fairly flat and nondescript sporty, although pretty good quality. On skin, its better - almost floral. For those who have smelled it, this has subtle similarities to mancera tropical wood in the mid. But, TW is too powdery floral woman's vanity for me to wear. This is sharper, more masculine. I understand the hate it gets, but for someone who doesn't really have many "sport" frags in my collection, this scratches that itch well. 8.0

Jury is out on this one....not a terrible scent, but nothing special for me....certainly a hot weather fragrance but is not performing as I expected (sillage and longevity poor for me...but don't go by me...I have fragrance eating skin!). There is something that makes me position this fragrance somewhere between Montblanc Individuel and Azzaro Chrome (the latter something I HATE!)....so...nice summer fragrance but have no reason to add it to my collection...far better products out there...

The bottle, nor the "Noir" does not match the fragrance at all, it literally is the complete opposite. This smells so much like Acqua Di Gio to me. This is an excellent, general wear fragrance that you can't go wrong with and you literally can't offend anyone with. It's nothing exciting or different and again, smells like ADG. It's a good day time fragrance if you are into fresh aquatics, for the Spring & Summer ( I'd lean more into the summer with this one )

Très bon parfum pour toutes les saisons hors l'hiver, il a un coté très frais, je suppose que se sont les notes aquatique, il a également un coté citronnée mélanger avec du bois de cèdre, ce qui le rend plus spécial que le Pasha classique que personnellement, je ne suis pas trop fan. La bouteille aussi est très bien étudier avec la touche de rouge introduite en dégradé... c'est un parfum qui tient facilement entre 3 et 5h et qui donne une projection modérée.

Got this one as a gift. It smells nice and unique actually. The performance isn't anything to boast about sadly. Lasts about 4 hours on me and only projects for about 45 minutes. And this is with 5-6 sprays mind you. Considering all the pros and cons, this is a solid 7/10 for me Edit: had this one for a few weeks now. Yeah just spray more to make up for performance. Liking this scent even more now 7.8/10

Definitely not a "Noire" fragrance, as other reviewers have said. It's very sharp and crisp and smells like the original Perry Ellis 360 to me; like that fragrance, this one can get cloying quickly if sprayed too much. I don't have a problem with these types of fragrances, it's just a major departure from the usual Cartier elegance. This one leans much more towards youthful wearers.

Surprisingly really good stuff! It's sporty with nice ocean vibe. The dry down smells very fresh and clean, like dryer sheets in a way. Too expensive but if discounted it's a good scent.

Weak performance but unique smell.

It's not a bad aquatic scent, but it's not going to blow your mind if you've smelled a few. A bit of juice from Pasha edt mixed with something like Invictus Aqua is the simplest way I can think of to describe it. Works in any situation where you'd wear an aquatic, usually in summer or warm weather. Performance is moderate. This is the third one I've tried from this line. Pasha EDT and Parfum are "loves" for me while this one is a "like."

This is so weak in compare to anything else I have from Cartier. If lucky it would last maybe 2 hours but most cases 1 hour top. It smells good but you have to drain yourself in it so you get average longevity and silage. There is nothing special about it and in my opinion it is very forgettable. Do not buy it with any mindset about the original or the Parfum versions. I think most people can safely ignore this one.

Just got this one in so this is a first impression. First the presentation is awesome very classy as always with Cartier. The quality of the fragrance is good but I can tell this is not gonna be nothing ground breaking. The performance will probably be mid as well. It’s not your typical sport fragrance there is something that separates it from that but overall this is a meh for me as of now. 3/5.

Pasha Noire Sport is pretty much a woody/aquatic fragrance. Scent is unique and would make for a nice summer fragrance. One problem though. The performance is very poor. I got about 2 hours out of it and then it was a very intimate skin scent. Hardly any projection. If it had more power behind it, could be really nice. Too bad. The EDT, Parfum and Noir Absolu are the real Pasha winners.

Overall, I find this thing to be really generic. The note breakdown didn’t inspire much confidence, but I figured there’d be a chance that Cartier would lean into some of the more aquatic notes to carve out its own niche in a market that is flooded by perfumes that are cut from the same cloth. Unfortunately, in my opinion, they didn’t. That said, this perfume still has merit. It has a very youthful vibe and would definitely have mass appeal (a euphemism for “generic”, in this case). Bonus points for the fact that it currently only has a little over 400 ratings on Fragrantica, if you enjoy this genre of perfumery and are wanting something that isn’t incredibly ubiquitous (see Bleu de Chanel’s 16k+ ratings or Acqua di Gio Profumo’s 12k+), this might be a suitable alternative. Just to clarify: this does NOT resemble BDC or AGD Profumo in terms of how it actually smells, rather it serves a very similar purpose and demographic. This is a solid option for younger folks (late teens to mid-20s) who are wanting a masculine fresh/clean scent that has wide appeal and can be worn year round. It can be picked up for a pretty reasonable price at discounters (got my bottle for <$30), making it a pretty easy choice for anyone who is wanting something to pop on for work/school/existing near others, that isn’t likely to offend and adds a pleasant scent to their presence. This is NOT a good choice if you’re looking for something that is unique or mature or both. Real talk: Axe vibes. Sprayed this on some paper and was unimpressed. Then, being as naive as I apparently am, I thought “I should give it a fair shake” and sprayed it on my arm. Big mistake. I smelled like I was back in jr. high all day. This stuff has shockingly brutal longevity when you don’t want it to. Completely regretted my decision as I continued to catch wafts of it throughout the day. TL;DR: Great for young folks. Mass appeal and reasonably priced. I can’t stand it, but take that with a grain of salt; I have multiple perfumes that kinda smell like piss that I absolutely adore, so me not digging something ought not deter you.

I seriously don't get the point of this fragrance. An uninspired citrus and aquatic opening that dries down to woods. Surprised there isn't any musk in this, because that would make it an exact clone of the gazillions of Axe-type bodysprays that sit in every gym bag out there. Terrible.. cloyingly synthetic... if you've smelled any generic deodorant you've smelled this.

I was expecting more from Cartier and from this line. Generally it's pleasant aquatic but it's a super generic and boring scent, a safe choice for present and crowd pleaser. It could be a release from any super cheap hoouse, a tasteless scent. Same vibe as many cheap fragrances in a super market. Moderate performance at its best. Not for me. BTW beautiful bottle!

Not a fan of this one. The opening was nice and so things seemed promising but the dry down has a slightly off-putting scent which I think must be caused by whatever is used for the 'watery notes', at least it's not strong.

REVIEW - Pasha De Cartier Noir Sports What does it smell like? A high quality citrus aromatic with a retro Pasha twist. Perfumer - Mathilde Laurent ( Nose behind Declaration and Oud Santal) Release Year - 2015 Top Notes - Pasha Sports Edition starts with a burst of high quality citruses along with Aquatic sea notes. It hits you like a wave of fresh air. Very refreshing. The citruses of are very high quality and the Aquatic notes are not salty marine but rather calm and cool type Middle - The middle has pretty much the same feeling except it gets to feel a bit more clean and sophisticated and less fresher. Thanks to the Cedarwood note which is of a slight soapy variety. The cedarwood provides the composition with some amped dryness and a more natural and airy feel. Drydown - This scent has one of the most evident transformations I've witnessed. If you apply this and smell the top and then you forget which scent you applied in the morning and smell the drydown or even middle, you'd not be able to imagine it's the same scent. Sandalwood and Amber are the most prominent notes here providing the classic Pasha vibes. Very less fresh, very less sophisticated comparatively,it takes a total turn and is more sweeter and has a beautiful retro vibe that feels very very nostalgic to my nose. All in all a solid designer freshie that is not mind blowing but deserves much more respect and appraisal for it's high quality and and it's continuity with the retro Pasha vibe Performance - 7-8 Hours on my skin Good projection for initial hour. Then sits close but it's uniqueness and variations makes it noticable and has a very good scent bubble around you. Feelings - Very positive.. happy and vibrant.
