Honeysuckle Eau de Toilette

Orange and neroli dominate the opening, but the dry down is almost all honeysuckle. Very realistic and fresh. I love it.

Sometimes all I want is for the perfume to smell exactly as advertised. And this does!! It captures the scent of honeysuckle really nicely. It reminds me of walking around my hometown and catching whiffs of honeysuckle. It's soft, airy, floral, and so good it made me want to keep smelling myself. There's no twist or dramatic evolution. It's just simple and straightforward and nice. Be warned, it doesn't last long and isn't super strong. I sprayed myself like five times after I realized how light it was and it wasn't overwhelming or too much. If you're looking for something more mysterious that changes as you wear it, or for something strong, this isn't it. But if you've ever stopped to smell honeysuckle and wished you could take that smell and carry it around with you for a little while then this is perfect! I really love how this smells.

Is this perfume underrated? I happen to love it, and the bottle is gorgeous. I get the neroli at the opening - so clean. And then a realistic honeysuckle for the remainder of wear time. Longevity is great for an EDT. I get 2+ hrs with projection and then another 3 as a skin scent. I think of it as a spring/summer morning scent. If I I want to reapply for the afternoon, there’s an affordable travel spray. Sometimes after work I spritz it as a refresher (I work outside) for my drive home. I don’t wear it super often but when my honeysuckle vine blooms 2-3x a year I am reminded to reach for this sweet fragrance. I am never disappointed. It is also nice on bleak winter days as a reminder that spring always comes back around.

You’re walking outside at dusk in a velvet gown, barefoot, taking time away from whats troubling you to smell and taste the honeysuckle bush in your backyard. At first you’re encapsulated by the sweet smell, but then a hit of dread returns as you remember your worries. This opens beautiful and soft, but something dirty and musty lurks beneath. The fragrance seems to switch between the two. At one point I even felt disgust as I put my nose into my arm.

An easy wear and lovely honeysuckle replica, perfect for summer days. Takes me back to sticking my face against the honeysuckle vines and breathing in the scent as a child. Fresh, bright, feminine, not cloying. Disappears after under an hour on my skin, though, as honeysuckle scents tend to do. More realistic and rounded honeysuckle than Diptyque Olene but far less longevity.

A straightforward honeysuckle soliflore that is actually a reconstruction, given the real flower's inability to yield anything perfumers can use. This one has detectable accents of neroli and jasmine that are closely wedded to methyl naphthyl ketone (orange blossom, green-grassy), and eventually this all mellows into a warm sweetness, familiar to anyone lucky enough to have honeysuckle in their vicinity. Probably adapted from Poucher's old formula, and in my opinion it occasionally veers a little too far into jasmine territory, but recommended.

such an easy reach. for christmas i was gifted a small travel set with Caswell Massey's lilac, gardenia, and honeysuckle. all are lovely- i've already used up the first two. perfume-y (especially at first), but in a good way. love how they linger on clothes.

opens as an orange neroli, after just a minute it becomes a photorealistic honeysuckle, bright & pretty. lasted half of the day before it turned into an invisible-ish mossy skin scent.
