Soleil des Vignes

I smelt this perfume in stores and nearly bought it, but it's only the size and pricing that stopped me from purchasing this. In stores, the sizes available are up to around 50ml I think for around 50$. This smells similar to Vagues D'Été by Yves Rocher, except that they have a 100ml for 50$. A good generic coconut perfume for summer except for the nice kick of petitgrain that makes this unique.

This smells sooo good! I smell vanilla the most out of the fragrance pyramid, but also another flower and a hint of coconut. I don't really smell the oranges, but the first spray kinda smells a little woody to me. A very warm, calm scent that reminds me of sunscreen a little bit. Only flaw it that it doesn't last long, but for the price it has a good value.

I was gifted the oil and I was surprised by the perfume trail on clothing. I didn't like the original oils perfume,i enjoyed the affect on skin. Soleil de vignes is spot on summer, not beach vibe but fresh green elegant and smooth. Try layering with the oil!!

Soleil Des Vignes has the DNA of every Caudalie product. A sort of green/subtle herbal signature. But it stands different than the other perfumes that they made. This perfume is vacation in a bottle, it’s a really fresh light and airy scent. But yet once it dries down, the Citruses seems to chill down and let place to a creamy sweet and lactonic facet with notes such as Coconut, Jasmine and Vanilla. But this green touch gave by the Petitgrain still stays afterwards the opening of the perfume. It gives an interesting touch to a « typical » tropical creamy coconut. If you don’t like green fragrances, the opening is going to be hell for you... Petitgrain isn’t a strong intoxicatingly screechy green/herbal note but it is omnipresent in the blend even if it settles down in the dry down. It is fresh still, even with that creamy touch, but it’s not a freshie that lasts, the goal behind that fragrance is to be light, airy, fresh for the summertime. It doesn’t last more than 2hrs~ for me (on sunscreen and body lotion), I think it isn’t like a fragrance mist, neither an Eau de Cologne. I think it leans more towards an EDT that is fleeting faster than the others. So you definitely need to reapply here and there, now and then. But for the quality & price point it’s okay. That’ll be a 7/10 because I still don’t know if I fully like that opening. It reminds me of my holidays with my family in the South West of France 🫶🏻

I’ve got the scented oil, and I love it: first some green delicious petitgrain, teasing you tongue with its very irreverent bitterness, awakening your senses, than polished by the languid exotic monoï and some pacific vanilla coconut cream to support it. This unexpected alliance, the harsh greenness with the fleshy sexual flower, slowly licking its nutty ice-cream, is true summer subversion; when I use it at work not even my stressful boss can prevent the fact that it’s holidays in my heart and in my mind.

In the very opening I could swear I detect tiaré flower. I can also detect the citrus elements, bitter orange being the most unexpected note. However, this impression goes away in 30 minutes and we are left with the most gorgeous aquatic vanilla that lingers on skin. I guess the aquatic impression is imparted by the petigrain. The coconut is noticeable throughout the wear. Vanilla is beautiful and really lingers. This is very summery, truly lovely.

A perfect great value beach fragrance. Coconut, vanilla and orange, you are on holidays, during hot days, etc. Perfect for the beach, very easy to find in France. For suntan lotion lovers, 100% unisex. An atmosphere? Sunset at the beach... 7/10 (not for open space and not so original, but the job is done!)

extremely sour, although only smells gross in the beginning. then it picks up the pace and smells like the beach and vanilla immediately after, just use it responsibly i beg

I bought it for my mom but I recently started to use it. From the bottle it smells like honey. It has a nice sweet powdery smell and reminds me of an orange creamsicle.

Green coconut in the opening, drydown is more floral and vanilla. It's nice, airy, does not last long, but for the price, I don't mind reaplying it.

If you can get past the opening of an earthy combo: stupidly bitter orange and the white floral, you'll be left with a wonderfully nostalgic scent. Think walking towards the beach on a on holiday, sunscreen on you and everyone around you. A mix of the smell of the bushes and hedge you walk past and the hotel lobby you just walked out of. Whilst perfume shouldn't have an age this does remind me of something a woman in her 40s or 50s would've worn in the summer when I was growing up, a very sweet sophisticated lady mind you! I do not find this perfume to be sweet at all, just a creamy and inoffensive summer scent. The coconut is quiet and certainly not tropical or in your face. It's less a ripe,sweet and juicy coconut, but rather an emulsion of the creamy white meat and the coconut water inside. The vanilla is so well blended it's almost indetectable, the only way it makes its presences known is by grounding the other notes that seem inclined to flee from each other into a mellow orbit around itself. I've found myself reaching for this perfume as a layering tool, as the simplicity of it's notes and composition once dried down mean it instantly elevate any perfume it shares 2 or more notes with. Not that groundbreaking but much more bearable and complex than other sunscreen adjacent scents. 6/10

Tanning lotion, dry and bitter orange.

I used to have “Soleil des Vignes” but I didn’t like it at all. Unfortunately, It was wayyyy too BITTER for my taste. All I could smell was the “Bitter Orange” and nothing else .... It was so bitter.... I could not stand it, so eventually I gave it away... Definitely not a safe blind buy!! Smell it first!! UPDATE. Ok I smelled it again and I get some coconut and some vanilla, but this bitter smell just doesn’t go away unfortunately .......Still a no for me...

I hate the bitter orange in this makes it smell like burnt plastic, both the perfume and the shower gel, I wanted to enjoy it but that note makes it smell like it is expired LOL! Very similar to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc.

I bought this on a good review thinking it sounded great. Nope! Not for me I'm afraid. It almost smells earthy on first spray and very strong. It lingers with a dusty sort of smell and does settle into that sun tan oil smell but still smells a bit coconutty/earthy. Not a sweet coconut either. I don't like it. If I want to smell like sun lotion I'll put sun tan lotion on. This is quite strong and it's one of those smells that makes me feel nauseous after a while and you just want a shower. It's not particularly attractive or feminine either. It reminds me of Nuxe Prodigieux which is another headache inducing smell.

This offering from Tom Ford (aka Estée Lauder) works for me. I blend it with organic Lemon & Tangerine essential oil’s into atomizers. Have been experimenting also by adding more Bergamot with solid results. Body prep after shower's cold water rinse I press in Nubian’s Coconut papaya body lotion along with a dollop of my homemade organic Coconut (body n face) butter then spritz Tom Ford eau de Soleil Blanc🌞 Living in Southern California my skin soaks all this loveliness up well 🧜🏼♀️✨

This is summer in a bottle! I get a very gourmand coconut, almost like coconut ice cream. Everything smells very natural and relaxing. It’s pleasant, sensual and sophisticated. A great choice for lazy summer afternoons. Great value!

I have the body oil, and I love it from the opening with its petitgrain almost neroli smelling initial burs, to its drydown with those tiarè/ monoi smelling notes. GORGEOUS
