Thé Des Vignes

This is sexy. Fresh. Alluring and did I say sexy. It is so gentle that it does sometimes feel like it evaporates into thin air as quickly as it’s been sprayed. Then I’ll catch a little whiff. Though frustratingly I think the fact that it is an eau Fraiche is part of its charm and naturalness as it’s more watery and fresh like this. I think if it was an extrait and Parfum we’d still appreciate its aroma, but it would feel more dense and heavy and lose that dewy clean and freshly misted feeling like walking through a very gentle rain. I have opened my 50 ml today properly after spraying it a couple of times when I bought it two months ago and I’ve already made a dent in it by keep spritzing myself today and that’s only this evening. I can’t see it lasting very long. I’ll add I’m not one to get through my fragrances quickly either, as my fragrance moods change often. I think it’s definitely wise to upgrade to the 100ml for home and 50ml for travel. It’s a slim bottle. Mine also came with a rollerball, this smelled more synthetic. I’m contemplating also buying the body milk but I don’t know if I can justify another lotion even if it’ll help the smell last as it costs as much as the fragrance and I’ve got so many lotions to get through and my perfume addicted self is already like I could put that money towards xyz perfume on my list. You get my drift. Anyway, yes I definitely do recommend this fragrance even though it’s light. I’d say buy the lotion too if you can to help the smell last, this au Fraiche is made for summer weather. It’s a special addictive kind of smell. Don’t want to get overly excited but I think it’s going to be one of my favourite smells. Absolutely GORGEOUS. Edit: I’m laying here it’s gone 1 in the morning, can’t sleep. Got Des vignes on my side table. Reaching out to sniff it occasionally. This smell to me epitomises the most beautiful woman in her mid 20s. Like a flower that has fully bloomed and its beauty has been realised. It’s not blooming but it’s at its peak. It’s radiant and complete. She is a beauty and emits that something you have at no other time in your life cycle. That glorious and magnetic height of womanhood. Edit: I still love this, there’s nothing not to like. It’s linear though. Not complex in the slightest. Fresh but not exquisite in an expensive way. I feel this is more for someone under 25 but I tend to like sniffing this from the bottle and spraying it with slight abandon after a bath. It’s refreshing. But i can get fragrance fatigue. Still a beautiful smell but I need to be careful to not grow weary of its blatant beauty. I need some mystery and intrigue.

This is possibly my favorite fragrance. It's perfect in all weather. In summer it's cool and refreshing and great to spritz on after a trip to the beach or to freshen up throughout the day in hot weather. It's sun-safe, which is a huge plus! In winter, the cold temperature brings out the warmth and coziness from the ginger, musk, and honey. The ginger to me is most prominent. It's zingy, fresh and very natural. I don't get much grape but I do get something slightly herbal (likely it's the tea and woodsy notes.) It's slightly sweet and at times it reminds me of fizzy ginger ale- which I love. It's a light fragrance, but it is incredibly versatile and surprising in its complexity. I never get tired of it and when I wear other fragrances and am away from this one for a period of time, I always miss it. It's also never cloying or headache-inducing. As others have noted, it's not a very strong fragrance, which is fine because I like to carry a small atomizer with me and top up during the day for a refreshing spa moment. This is also my most complimented fragrance. Even when I think it's worn off, people have stopped me in passing to comment on how good I smell! So its longevity might be better than it seems. As this is such a light fragrance, I wish it was sold in larger volumes. It would also be great if it was to be sold with a refillable option. I'm also a fan of Nuxe's Huile Prodigieuse. They've recently launched a neroli scented dry oil, which I find is a perfect base for Thé Des Vignes.

This is one of my all-time favorite scents. I’ve been wearing it for almost a decade I think. In my 30s it was my signature scent. Now I wear it after a nighttime shower, to bed, and as a room and linen spray. I’ve also used the shower gel (loved and would repurchase) and body milk (liked and might repurchase). It’s linear and uncomplicated, but mysterious at the same time. I think it’s because there’s nothing else that really smells like it. Big “Clean Girl Aesthetic” vibes. One of my most complimented fragrances ever. It’s a total sleeper in the frag community imo. It’s the original JHAG Not a Perfume, Glossier You, Molecule 1, etc. it’s clean, light, watery, aromatic, memorable, and unique. Even though I compare it to those above they don’t smell the same. I’d say they’re categorically the same though. Fantastic alone or layered. Hard to say how long it lasts because even after I think it’s gone people will still comment on it. Moderate projection for about a hour then it becomes a skin scent. Personally I think it’s a safe blind buy. Especially since it’s not super pricey. I’ll probably repurchase this forever.

Hi to all my smell-sensitive friends ! Caudalie is a great choice for you if you want to smell clean, fresh, and not get a headache or worse. AND they're always cheap ! This one in particular is my new favorite. I keep switching between this one and "Fleur de vigne". "Thé des vignes" smells like a sunset in a South of France vineyard (and I grew up there :), it is nice and warmer than Fleur de vignes, you can smell the tea, the musky notes and the grapefruit with a little woody note. I'm always scared of warm musky smells as I am very sensitive to it. I usually always go for the citrus fresh fragrance, but this one really is amazing ! And you can put a lot, don't worry, it is never too strong and it won't last very long (but longer than Fleur de vigne) I really hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do, it's also the perfect fragrance for a girl or teenage girl if you want them to avoid the extremely sweet and artificial smells. PS: I even spray it on my clean sheets sometimes before going to bed (weird, I know, but try it !)

I don't really like perfumes typically relegated to summertime. But where I live it's been absolutely horribly humid. Like Caribbean tropics humid. For a month straight. Soon, all the pine trees will be replaced by palm trees. THAT humid. Most of my perfumes are too heavy for it, even my poor Stella McCartney doesn't like this weather. So I wanted something that was light as air, refreshing, but still has a heartiness to it. So yesterday, to avoid the soupy air on a long walk, I ducked into a shop that sells caudalie...I casually picked up this bottle, as I've never sniffed any of the vignes perfumes. Behold. Love at first sniff. I really loved this on my skin under the hot waxiness of the July air quality in my city. I don't expect this "refreshing water" to have great longevity. I just want to smell fresh and lovely when it's near impossible to smell like anything but hot sticky sweat. I love the mix of the florals with this tea note, held together by a smooth wispy non-oppressive musk. Perfection.....

I've had this for a while and I honestly can't even remember how I came across it online. My guess it because neroli, orange flower, and jasmine. I have favorite notes that I'll look for in perfumes, so that's my guess. (Blind buy.) So here's the spill. This is honestly amazing. To me it does not have that white floral scent that I love, but what it does have is a fresh, right out of the shower clean, wearing a white gauzy shirt on a spring day, sipping mimosas, on a rooftop lounge. I feel like it could belong to the Philosophy family. I do slightly detect the tea note but it's very soft. I love a good tea note, especially in Nest's Indigo & Killian's Princess. I always forget to grab this one as I have so many other favorites. But don't underestimate this little hidden gem. It's so fresh and so clean. I feel like it could be sprayed as a body spray, as it's not very strong. Delicate and fresh! Veeeerrrry soft flowers. I'm putting this one in the bathroom to start spritzing after showers.

This perfume transports me back to living in Paris. How beautiful. I stumbled upon this while I was doing my French pharmacy haul and I am so happy I did. I needed a perfume to wear to dinner for that night, and chose this. Funny enough, this would be the scent I wore when I got engaged. This perfume smells like the epitome of clean. It smells light and airy, yet sophisticated and refined. It reminds me of a woman with a neutral, capsule wardrobe who drinks a lot of Diet Coke and goes to 5am Pilates. It’s simply a cool girl scent. A woman that’s effortlessly sexy and sophisticated. Confident. It’s very palatable. It smells like aldehydes and unbrewed tea. Very musky, airy, clean, tame, yet very soapy. I love this. I spray this all day. During the day, before the gym, after the gym, before bed, etc. I love this stuff. Not only does it leave behind a beautiful trail of nostalgia for me, it also smells inoffensive and fantastic. I feel like cool French girls love Thé Des Vignes.

I purchased this last autumn in a gift set of spray, rollerball & shower gel. I then realized it is a scented water fragrance & set it aside for use in summer. The notes I detect are primarily neroli & white musk. I enjoyed spraying this liberally to refresh in the heat. I did not find the rollerball or shower gel deposited much scent. The longevity & sillage were minimal. Although I really liked the scent, I likely won't repurchase it since the price point is a little high to use it like a body mist. Edit: I discovered that this fragrance is smelled by others when I can no longer detect it. I use 6-8 sprays because it is so light. I've received so many compliments on this one that it is now a "love". I can no longer find it at Shoppers Drug Mart online in Canada. I will have to find another site to repurchase it since I think it suits my skin chemistry very well.

The scent is indescribable to me, but the vibe is the woman who looks like she has her life together. When you see those women and think ‘she looks like she smells so good’, this is how she smells. This is absolutely a need for all women it’s just beautiful. GET THIS. Also, for me... this fragrance is the EPITOME of the situation where you’re walking past someone and thinking ‘wow they smelt so good’ as they leave ah amazing trail and not recognising the scent and it just always being a mystery. It’s not super distinct or crazy complex but that in a way lends to it being so good, because it is unique enough that it has a distinct loveliness that you just pick up, without being able to pick out any of the notes or something specific, but it’s complex and beautiful enough that it lingers in your mind and makes you want to have it for yourself.

This is by far my favourite perfume and I tested many. I really like a lowkey fresh out of the shower smell! This perfume is a whole experience to me and I find it to smell like a luxury spa. Every single caudalie product feels really luxe and like you are treating yourself. However I tried the other caudalie perfumes and none of them top this one. Most of them smell too « womanly » if I make sense. This one is a bit more unisex according to me eventhough it is marketed towards a feminine audience I can totally see a man wearing this as well. I can see why people might think there is nothing really special about it but I think it’s simplicity is what makes it so unique. I can’t see anyone not liking it to be honest. This is my biggest compliment getter, it is really classy, not at all obnoxious or migraine inducing AND not expensive.

I don’t remember how I found this scent but I am so glad I did! It is not strong and long lasting, but it is ok for the price point and quality of the scent. It is a beautiful mix for lovers of fresh perfumes like Chanel Chance, Lanvin Eclat or Green Tea Elizabeth Arden. As soon as I tested it I knew it was something familiar, but couldn’t figure it out. What perfume does it remind me of? It’s really beautiful. It was haunting me all day so I tried searching by most pronouced notes and started with ginger. And right away, that was it - Lancome Miracle. That was the perfume my friend’s mother used to wear a lot when we were kids back in ‘00s. I am sure that original fragrance has been reformulated 10 times already, so I am glad to have found The Des Vignes to enjoy now

I was at the pharmacy a week ago and I saw all these fragrances by Caudalie and I smelled them all but as soon as I smelled this one I fell in love. So I sprayed it on my wrist to see how it developed during the rest of the day. I could smell it all day long and it was a lovely smell of neroli and musk that lingered until I went to bed. The reviews I read after trying it they all stated longevity issues... although it’s an Eau Fraiche we are talking about, and I don’t expect it to last more than 2 hours honestly! But after a couple of days I could still smell it on a hair tie that I had on my wrist that day and I went to buy a big bottle straight away because I do love it. Somehow this fragrance sticks on my skin and I am really happy about it.

I adore this fragrance, so much so that when I saw it was limited I emailed Caudalie begging them not to, it may have worked, well me and a fair few other fans... It is such a light beautiful floral, perfect in summer and also a delicious layering fragrance. In summer on its own and at other times over the top of my HG perfume Safari it is my most complimented fragrance ever. Understated elegance, forgettable is a harsh word from an earlier review as I do not think it is, a perfume for those who maybe don't like invasive overpowering fragrances maybe and for someone who wishes to smell beautiful effortlessly.

The Des Vignes .. Have you ever fallen for something for its simplicity? Yes. That would be me, talking about this lightly scented sparkling vineyard tea. Its modestly inviting aroma is quite beautiful. Like a young girl on her first date, she is shy and lovely. Naturally blushed cheeks and rosy lips suggests she is pure and tempting in every possible way. Yes. The Des Vignes is that attractive to me. The tea is fresh, ginger sparklingly sweet, and soft creamy musk lovely. Another demure skin scent I stumbled upon and fell for head over heels .. A scent of a girl in love .. beautiful without even trying.

Love this one! It's a very pretty and clean daytime scent that's light yet sophisticated- the tea, grape, and ginger cut through the white florals and give it a bit of an edge. This is my go-to for work meetings and more casual, daytime activities- it smells clean without being overpowering and doesn't bother people I know who are scent sensitive. All-in-all a great addition to the collection. I bought a large bottle when I was in France where it was much cheaper than what's available outside the EU, I'm not sure if the import fees make this worth it because it's an eau fraiche at the end of the day.

Whoever has been familiar with this fragrance for a long time, was it always so citrusy? I might be wrong and I might be smelling lots of neroli but nonetheless, I feel like it was more grape forward back in the day and less of this inyourface freshness. don't get me wrong though. I love this perfume. the lasting power is weak but people really love it and I really love it too. I recommend it especially, if you're perfume-sensitive or get headaches. Again, I think the oil/body cream have more grape-like scent that the fragrance. if anyone is familiar with this I'd like to hear your opinion.

I happened upon this fragrance yesterday and tried it on the back of my hand. It's light and fresh, but some combination of the accords really delights me and is evocative of Halston 101. One day later, I can still smell the remnant of this on the back of my hand, and this is a pleasant association. Ultimately intensive musk and wood accords, with a nice balance of florals to soften the edge. The Des Vignes seems more complex to me than a straight-up floral. This is a very nice way to remember what I liked so much about Halston 101, actually. I am adding this to my "want" list.

I came across this trio of scents yesterday whilst browsing in the perfume section of a department store and decided to stop and test them all. This one was my favorite with Fleur des Vignes a close second. The Des Vignes is a lovely light, fresh, clean fruity floral with a bit of depth due to the musk. It lasted quite a few hours on my skin so the staying power's not bad. It's an ideal perfume to wear daily and to work, etc, because it's very pleasant and inoffensive and not a powerhouse, suffocating perfume. I like it!

I have to edit my old review. This is a pretty smell. But I went off it almost straight away. I think it’s the grapes. I also bought libre intense a while back loved it and once bought poof turned right off. I think it’s nice to smell on someone else but not have to continuously smell. As it’s so linear and not complex. I don’t think it’s going to be one I fancy at a later point or if the mood takes me. It’s not worth selling and will suit someone young. Simple and pretty but annoyingly annoying in a sweet way.

OMG I love this! Just got a sample at Sephora yesterday and am hooked. Soft and musky but not overpowering or too cottony/dryer sheet. The tea really comes through but is also not too much. Then there is the grape/floral combo that is dancing around in all of it. Overall, very beautiful fragrance for year round, daily use. Could be worn in any temperature or climate. It's the kind of scent that people would say "ooh, you smell good" and not "i like your perfume"

This is a VERY unique scent, yet so simple. It smells fresh but not in a Light Blue by D&G way, fresh like you're in Italy with your girl besties in a wine yard in Tuscany, sipping your wine and living your best live. That ginger and honey really makes it so special. One thing though : it really doesn't last on my skin at all, maybe one hour tops. So I would consider this a body spray.

My favorite of the caudalie fragrances. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ve had this one in my collection for well over a decade. The only problem with it is there is zero longevity. It disappears pretty much as soon as you spray it. At least that’s the experience that I have with it. If anyone knows of a good Arabic dupe of this or any dupe that’s reasonably priced, please hit me up.

This is my favorite fragrance! I bought it multiple times. I can’t really describe what is smells like, I smell the grapes a little, the tea, some flowers, and a musky/woody base. It’s not sweet at all, I would say that this perfume is pretty much unisex. IT’S SOOO GOOD TRUST 🤞🏼it girl perfume fr😍 Only bad thing it’s not as long lasting, but at least it doesn’t break the bank 🏦

Creamy, clean and fresh-musky. Lovely to spray all over right after showering or as a little pick me up during the day. Not the loudest sillage but quite good lasting power actually. It envelops you in a little cloud and stays a little longer on clothes. Great for layering also and a steal for the price! Perfect for any season or occasion IMHO.

This is a floral woody musk, not a straight floral. Tea, clean musk, cedar. While this combo may not be original, I am a definite fan of this version. It's light, refreshing and not overpowering in summer heat. I think it would do best with a base layer of the lotion to give it some longevity. Another one from Jacques that I really like.

I once got a sample of Bvlgari's au the vert and this fragrance smells exactly like it! Also smells similar to some of the fragrances from Elizabeth Arden's affordable green tea collection. I'm a little sad because this perfume feels a lot less special now that I've made the connection. Packaging is beautiful though, especially the tin.

Though it's not very strong scent with weak longevity, its composition is just heaven. It changes on the skin and clothes (initial breeze is like Light Blue by D&G, but it changes completely after a moment) into something so classy that people do ask about it. A couple of ladies have already bought a bottle after sniffing me.

I adore this fragrance. It is the closest scent I've come to a Lebanese soap I once used and tried to find again without luck. It's soft, warm, safe, romantic yet surprising. I agree with others before me that calls it unique, the composition is lovely and just right. I just purchased another one. Love the shower gel too!

France, pharmacie, Caudalie, this scent... oh, this fragrance, makes me feel very feminine and light. Every time I wear it I constantly get a lot of compliments. They go like: Oh dear, you smell delllllllicioussssss!!! And I do!! Musk is very warm and sexy on my skin. Absolutely in love with this one. Merci, Caudalie!!

It's beautiful, herby, warm and feminine. I can smell the hot jasmine tea and vineyards. I love it. It's true that it doesn't last long, about 2 hrs on me and I think its probably best in summer and sprayed on clothes not skin.

It's a breezy morning on an empty beach, the sky is blue and white clouds run thru the sky. I am wrapped in this beautiful delicate and elegant fragrance. I feel so carefree and fulfilled. I'm in love with my life!

I first smelled this as I think a shower gel that my mother gave as a gift and loved it. Bought the fragrance and forgot about it for a long time. I like it but I feel kind of torn about it. I have been wearing it as an everyday fragrance for a little while now. Can't say too much about the notes since I'm a total novice, but to me this is a very grown up smell. Too ladylike for my liking, but that's subjective of course. At first it was almost grandma-y to me which I guess is the underlying musk. The first spray is pretty bold and forward, almost sharp, very feminine and ladylike, definitely more of a fall kind of smell to me, though could be worn in other seasons. Very floral, little herby, some fruity and a tiny bit sweet. I softened the edge with some vanilla usually (not perfect to balance but I have little options), but since I ran out I started feeling ambivalent about only this on me, but I guess that's also personal preference. This is still a solid everyday choice, does not last long however. Leaves a pretty smell on clothes for a while. I feel you really need to test this for some time to find out it this is for you. Could definitely see this as a room or linen spray. Definitely not a playful and young smell to me.

It’s incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The scent feels wonderful right after spraying — light, clean, and uplifting. However, it lasts about 30mins on my skin. I think that is the only downside, but I was expecting it since it’s not an EDT so if you are planning to buy, know that you’d need to reapply throughout the day. This is a comforting and effortlessly chic tea scent with soft, musky white florals. Absolutely perfect for a daily refresh or when you simply want to smell nice without overdoing it.

+ super affordable + refreshing all year round scent + fantastic tea-grapey notes drying down to a soft musky scent +quiet decent longevity for an eau fraiche + work / office appropriate + classic easy grab and go scent - not really that special - it is def something you have smelled before - crowd pleaser, not offending - which is good but you will not stand out with this since it is so affordable I think it is really worth your money. Give it a try!

For me this is a close to the skin, 'cuddler' type of scent. It stays ever so close to the skin, apparent to those who are within your personal space but it does not stray much farther past that point. Tea, musk, ginger and woodsy...perhaps a bit of the honey as well. Starts off 'sharp' (which is probably the ginger) but mellows out into a 'skin' smell which is quite pleasant.

I just got a sample of this and I'm glad. I would not have tried it ever on my own. It's very light and very clean. It's fairly linear. I see it as a great daytime scent, and probably easily wearable year round. Considering getting a bottle. I see some people liken it to light blue, which I understand, I happen to like this better. It just seems more.... sophisticated.

This perfume smells very different from person to person, I suspect some of the musks it contains can explain this. I smelled it on someone and it was powdery and elegant, in somebody else it was very fruity, in me the tea note is very prominent. It doesn't last long, but it projects really well. I find it very uplifting and clean, I really like it.

This is a nice scent for those days where I just want to freshen up a little bit. There is a very light refined clean quality to it with a very faint touch of musk. Good for someone in an office because it's not overpowering. Lasts for most of the day but stays really close to the skin.

This is a unique, uplifting, but elusive fragrance that fades within 1-2 hours. I'm fond of this fragrance. Glad to have made the acquaintance. Bottle: The stylish cylindrical bottle is understated elegance with its purple juice and grapes embossed on one side. Charmed.

It's very fresh yet sweet fragrance. Perfect for everyday, non-special days. It's quite unique for a clean fragrance and it's inexpensive. But I hate it in summer, because it gets very sweet, IMO. 7/10

Soft, relaxing and fresh with a hint of spice. Aquatic and a bit creamy at the same time. A great choice if you are looking for something that smells natural and inoffensive.

This just doesn't last on me, initial spray and poof it's gone. Which is a shame as it's a nice tea, grape skin, orange blossom and ginger scent: very fresh with a slight spice from the ginger. I wouldn't say it was good value for money, at £30 odd for what essentially is a body spray on me is not the one. Lasts slightly longer sprayed on clothes. I love the bottle though, simple, clean lines and the embossed grapes are cute. 8/5/24: update. Think this might do better in warmer weather. I can detect the sliiightest essence here and there now the summer is coming. Plus my work colleague has commented a couple of times that she can smell it and it smells lovely. Will persevere!

It's a beautiful clean yet sugary fragrance that smells nostalgic, but the longevity is non-existent and fades within minutes. I personally wouldn't recommend

i really dont get the tea note , its a citrus-y grape bomb. I do love the musky , almost unisex drydown on my skin

Its only for warmer weather and for layering with other perfumes, good scent but nothing special .

Woody musky, fresh inofensive. A hint of tea and flowers. Fresh and cosy. 5/10
