Old Leather

Opens faintly tarty-citrus bias melon, but then it dries down to a citrus bias leather. The citrus is rather mellow, dry, and not overbearing, and yes, you definitely can make out the attribution of “old leather” with this frag, but honestly it can be interpreted from the lens of No Rules by Jusbox/cyber-sex by Filippo Sorcinelli, but it’s not a full purview, but it’s a noticeable introduction. This facet is here to stay...and really this smells like what a cleaned leather smells like, in its raw form. Obviously, the search doesn’t end as I like to keep a minimum of frags in rotation, but it’s definitely an underrated clean leather frag. Strangely, but unassumingly addicting. Imagine the smell of your leather/synthetic rubber slides after showering, but after putting on a No Rules-esque cologne (this is rather faint) and no stench of mildew. This is reminiscent of that scenario. This is easily layerable to drive into a dirty bias if you wished. +1 * Leather [100/100] FBW. Note the longevity will be somewhat less than that of an oil-based perfume as this is a waterborne perfume.

Excellent for layering with other fragrances. I never wear it alone, but it is the perfect way to bring a masculine, somber tone to more playful fragrances. Especially in the fall and winter, if I apply a light layer of CB Old Leather, I find I can wear some of my spring/summer scents.
