Vivo Elixir

I was already a fan of the original Vivo, but Vivo Elixir takes it to another level. The opening has a vibrant mix of pink pepper, nutmeg and lavandin that feels energetic and modern, then settles into a smooth, warm heart of saffron, vanilla and suede that smells effortlessly sophisticated without being heavy or cloying. The drydown is where it really shines for me: the oud, amber and cedarwood create a soft smoky‐ambery trail that lasts all day and feels much more expensive than it is. I’ve tried most of the big ‘Elixir’ fragrances from Carolina Herrera, Rabanne and YSL, and this is the best quality Elixir‐style scent I’ve found so far. It’s a versatile woody‐aromatic that works just as well with a t‐shirt as it does with a blazer, and it’s easily one of the best Elixir releases I’ve tried recently, and it lasts long too.

Tried this at the perfume shop I wasn’t sure at first but as it settles on my skin it smells amazing and lasts hours and hours like about 12 hours or more really good lasting power and the scent is really nice. At first spray it’s quite strong like spicy then the dry down it’s quite sweet and still spicy but not as strong at the start it’s very different from when I first sprayed I love it definitely recommend it.

This fragrance has a spicy, peppery opening, with a hint of vanilla and suede. I got this for my boyfriend and find it very addictive with great projection. Fragrances don’t usually last long on his skin but I could still smell it in the evening. Dry down is woody with a slight smokiness from oud. This fragrance is deep, well blended and absolutely beautiful.

Such an improvement over the original, which is a sweet, fruity bubble gum scent. Pretty basic and annoying. This keeps the DNA, but it's deeper, more mature, laced with a nice dusty nutmeg and saffron duo, and a creamy tonka-vanilla accord. Oud is light, not animalistic at all, just gives depth and a slight caramelized feel. It's slightly woody and spicy, with some gourmand edges. Very, very nice ! Will be very affordable soon, so even better.

6/10 Terriblement basique et sans intérêt, un parfum bleu masculin classique, pas trop chimique ça sent bon mais rien d'intéressant, et surtout je ne sens pas la moindre trace d'Oud, ni de labdanum, ni de cuir.
