Caprice de Jeanne

Basically it's fruity floral on an ambery- woody base. The begginng of this fragrance could be really faimiar from any member of the caprice collection. It opens with a bright and sparklin' fruity accord. These bright notes are different at every member, but they contain the same vibe. In this perfume its some fresh tart-sweet fruits just like mandarine orange with liche, and these fruits are twisted and sprinkled-sparkled up with pinkpepper. But Jeanne, the new member of the caprice family is the most complex, and most seductive one from all of them. Because as the times go by, and as the fragrance heart starts to open and bloom. This fragrance, what was so freshly sweet, sparkly, uplifting and joyful at the begging, is slowly becoming such a sensual creation, when the flirty, riped smashed raspberries, the sensual cashmere wood and the rose comes into the picture. And when the lush and juicy dark cherry join into the composition and smoothly smeard on the "Chabaud fingerprinted" deep and alluringly dark, but soo sooo mellow and mild oud. This is a Chabaud type of oud interpretation so it feels meltingly mellow but also balmy & carnal. The drydown is unexpectedly erotic from the chabaud caprice line. Because the drydown is just mostly the mix of the previously mentioned lush and luscious cherry ( toned by some overriped smashed raspberry nuances )and mixed with one of the most delicate, mild an balsamic oud which deepness and carnal-animalic facet is supported by amber, musk and that type of patchouly which has chocolat-ish edge. So at the drydown the final result is an intoxating, tempting and seductive potion. It's a fragrance for a woman with a lively, openminded, openhearted and illuminating personality who is chasing joy, delights and adventures at daytime and at the night she ingludes in delightful carnal pleasures also...

This is pretty much the same as Kate Spade sparkle when tested on seperate arms. So if you like this then Sparkle is much cheaper. I love Chabaud scents but this is just OK.

Its nice, but it smells a bit too generic once it dries down. The opening is sweet and fruity.

FIRST IMPRESSION: surprisingly, it smells a bit masculine, i'd say it resembles a bit of hermes h24, with its sort of metallic sharp notes. it is also some kind of fruity and sweet, which doesnt make sense to me in a metallic abrasive scent, making it cheap and messy imo. slightly reminds me of gentle fluidity silver, but definitely nowhere near the level of refinement, it smells like a bad mix between that one and some generic female fruity perfume. FEW HOURS LATER... this one is not enjoyable at all, i dont like smelling it even in the air, let alone on myself. it is very confusing whether it is masc leaning or fem leaning, clashing signals between the metalic dry notes of it and the fruity nauseating notes. overall it is not a good scent. 32/100

This one is just cacophony. It's very loud and attention-seeking, but contributes nothing of value. I know types like "Jeanne," and I run the other way from them.
