For me this Fragrance is like when the Rain stops from MM but intense version and more focus on rose than marine, but still in the same vein.

A strong rose scent, not quite medicinal but with some cold notes, with a few slightly pungent notes such as geranium and black currant leaf. In fact I find the currant leaf more realistic than the mentioned raspberry. Closer to the skin you can spot pepper, nutmeg, amber. A complicated mix that opens up in waves. Interesting.

FIRST IMPRESSION: i smell a very messy, spicy rose blend. usually i can appreciate rose scents, but this one is too spicy/ ink-y. it has that anoying nutmeg spiciness, and also big part of it smells like zoologist squid/ cdg 2, that inky oceanic note i REALLY dislike. like traces of ambergris, dated oceanic-rose. i cant concentrate on the rose, that ink note is too distracting. it's exhausting to smell. SEVERAL HOURS LATER... i still see too much of a resemblance to zoologist squid. as if i sprayed a generic rose fragrance on the arm i tested squid on earlier. it's sticky heavy scent. 31/100

Opens with a burst of pepper and geranium. The blackcurrant here is more leafy than fruity. There is a weird metallic note detectable, which is quite unpleasant - might be from a mix of nutmeg and the sour fruity notes. Then the rose comes in, but it's a rose-geranium mix more than just pure rose. Quite green and spicy, rather than smooth and sweet. The fruity sourness of raspberries lingers in the background. Ends with patchouli. Quite long lasting, but really not my thing - a mix of spicy and sour which doesn't mesh well with my skin.

This feels like a clear attempt to carve out a wholly new profile for rose. To show rose in a light we haven't seen it in before. I respect the effort, totally, but, on my skin, the result is actually this very intense berry-wood-patchouli melange that isn't for me in the slightest. And I'd agree with what someone said below about there being a faint metallic vibe to it too. It's just ... a lot.

The patchouli and geranium combination doesn’t work well and smells very metallic, which distracts from the rose in the end.
