Femme Chic

This is a perfume for all Mothers and mature women in Egypt in the 80s and 90s. It is very feminine and nostalgic.. and I am happy because it is still being created at Chabrawichi store in Egypt till now.. 🇪🇬 I want to ask a question, what is the international perfume that "Chabrawishi Femme chic" inspired his perfume from? If anyone knows plz send me a message 📩

Old school 'chic' chypre floral , I think it was created in the 1960's ..Very beautiful and well made .

All Egyptians above 35 will probably visit this page at one point. I was surprised to see a bottle of Femme Chic in a local pharmacy; I thought it was discontinued. I could recognize it by the back and white logo of a woman’s portrait, since the shape of the bottle has changed. I had to have it for nostalgia’s sake. While Chanel no 5 was my grandmother’s signature scent for more official and important occasions, this was her everyday perfume. She even had a small dab on bottle for her purse. If you pay close attention to the notes pyramid you’ll see that 13 out of the 14 notes of Chanel no 5 EDP are here (only ylang is missing). 13 out of the 17 notes of Chanel no 19 edt are there as well. Plus spices and lots of resins as in Chanel’s Coco (which was produced 6 years later by the way!). To my nose it starts more like 19 and ends more like no 5 with hints of Coco! An amazing old school perfume that I will always repurchase to remind me of my granny’s hug. Miss you so much grandma.

A classic chypre ... Hard to pull off if you're not in a mood for vintage perfumes. I love it and love the childhood memories it brings! I still remember that old bottle in my grand ma's vanity table. Still widely sold in Egypt atChabrawichi stores and online too. So it's not discontinued. I used to use Calèche in the past and I don't see the resemblance.
