Tobacco Memories

Beautiful... Marvelous creation, in my opinion. On my skin it developed beautifully giving the sensation of a sweet delicious liquor poured on me. Afrodisiac, intoxicating, narcotic, addictive. This fragrance is warm like a hug. The tobacco note is delicate, warm, like submerging the leaf in liquor and then given to me to smell it and rub it on my skin. The saffron is incredible aromatic, slightly bitter at the beginning but when it mixes with the heart notes everything changes giving you a cherry fragrance different from others on the market. I did not feel the oakmoss note. The incience is subtle on my skin giving just a tiny bit of smokiness for depth. The vanilla is there to make things better, sweet and pretty. Longevity 10/10. Sillage 8/10 Autumn/Winter. Night. The perfume is oily when sprayed on the skin. Avoid spraying on clothes since you can damage or stain the fabric. An interesting and beautiful addition to a perfume collection.

The first and only thing I could think of is this smells like marzipan - i.e. - like sweet almond paste. I was surprised almonds were not actually officially listed as a scent and I guess what I'm smelling is the cherries + vanilla? (it *is* mentioned though in some other websites?) anyway, this is VERY sweet and addictive - but NOT to the point of gourmand (i think). Interestingly - I either don't get the tobacco so much, or it's swallowed-in and too blended with the other stuff. Compared to some BDK cherry scented stuff (rouge?) I got to test right after - they are way more abstract, this is more realistic fruity/foody. It's not a cherry pie or liquor per se - it's the sweet memory of them, from your last trip. Just randomly smelled it at the store and couldn't stop myself from buying it. It seems to me like this could be very unisex and versatile - but maybe that's just my wishful thinking.

Oh man, I love this scent so much. I love the opening. During most of the time I smell the cherry, and a very nice and mild tobacco in the background that balances things out. I really get the name of the scent, I feel something very nostalgic about this one that is difficult to explain. This has become one of my favorite scents since I first smelled it. It really is beautiful, so I understand why has won prices. Performance is solid and projects well. I hope more people get to enjoy this beautiful scent.

This scent starts with gentle saffron playing along the surface, moments later you fall into deep dark cherries. Just miles and miles of rich red juicy cherry notes which somehow manage to never go overtly sweet on my skin. Just when you think it will never end the scent settles down into a more subtle cherry with musky powdery notes from the orris. The smoke from tobacco and incense provide a rich final note with a subtle closing depth of vanilla and oakmoss. All in all for me, this is a masterpiece.

I love this one so much. It is a beautiful scent and gets lots of compliments. The opening is consistent with the dry down so it is fairly linear, but because the smell is so gorgeous I don't mind it for this one. I think it is pretty unisex based on body chemistry. It doesn't smell masculine to me on paper or on me, but I have not smelled it on a man. Really gorgeous scent that I cannot wait to add to my collection,

This scent is totally unique in my collection. I am surprised by how much I love it but shouldn’t be because I love almost everything from this house! The top notes in this are tad much for me - almost medicinal. I find it tolerable because they are extremely fleeting and the dry down is incredible. Warm and sensual, without being overpowering.

Warm, smoky-sweet, cozy, nostalgic and elegant — a soft tobacco wrapped in little cherry,smooth iris, incense and vanilla, with a cozy feel. Truly great parfume. Unisex with great projection.

Beautiful creamy tobacco scnet, quite special, I like it a lot.

The composition opens with tobacco notes, softened by a touch of sweetness that lends them a feminine nuance. It conjures the image of a strong woman in a Saint Laurent tuxedo. Gradually, however, the fragrance grows bolder and more masculine, evolving in the dry-down into a powerful, almost austere blend, decidedly masculine in character. Both projection and sillage are exceptionally strong. On fabric, even after an entire day, its presence remains so vivid it can be overwhelming.

VERY potent tobacco & saffron. The cherry is delicious, syrupy sweet, like a maraschino cherry, offsetting the spice really well. This is one of the only scents where I truly mean it when I say 1-2 sprays is more than enough.

The beautiful bottle aside, I wasn't particularly impressed. It resembles L'Homme Idéal in the opening, but quickly heads in a different direction. The tobacco in the drydown comes across as very ashy, bordering on acrid and it's frankly a little bit boring.

Starts out with WOW VERY MUCH CHERRY, but it’s good, I like it. I also get a bit of a lipsticky Iris and incense. This is the spicy older sister of 7Virtues Cherry Ambition. The cherry pulls back after a bit and a softer, sweet almond note comes through. The oak moss and incense hang around, giving it a bit of an earthy tickle in my nose. This is a fragrance for a night out at a cool, grungy bar in an effortlessly chic leather jacket. My skin pulls every fragrance extremely sweet, so on me, this leans slightly feminine - but this would easily work on a man, too.

A blast of cherry, saffron and vanilla. I dont really feel tobacco as prominently here. Its more warm/ gourmand/ fruity type of smell. But I understand the popularity of this scent. Accordingly to their website, this one collected some trophy at international fragrance awards. Cherry and saffron notes are to thank for that. They are very trendy for past two years. But will we remember this fragrance as years pass? im not sure

My skin always brings out saffron to the nth degree, and it didn't calm down and get better for me until 3.5-4 hours in. I'm not sure I smelled cherry, but it was fruity. I didn't get any tobacco either, and I happen to love tobacco perfumes, but that could just be because the saffron was overwhelming every other note. This is not at all what I thought it would smell like, so glad I didn't blind buy.

I’ve had this for a few weeks and it has grown in me. At first it was artificial and the name didn’t make sense to me at all, but I love it for its story. I smell absolutely no tobacco, and that’s ok. Instead it’s a cherry, almond slightly artificial but dries down to possibly a cherry stem? Maybe that’s the tobacco. I get no incense. Lovely nostalgic scent, makes me think of almond cookies

Maraschino cherries (used for cocktails) often have oil of bitter almond added to the syrup. This smells like tobacco smothered in maraschino cherry syrup. Wish it wasn't quite so sweet and they had reduced the cherry syrup by 70%, to give the tobacco, incence and oakmoss a chance to shine. The cherry is too overpowering for my taste, but gourmand lovers will probably love this.

Spicy, almost cinnamon-y cherry. I think oak moss and saffron create a cinnamon accord in the fragrance. Smells like Big Red gum, but in the best way possible with cherry and fine tobacco. This will be a classic. Unisex and addictive. Not your typical cherry chapstick, cough syrup, amaretto, same cherry done over and every type fragrance, this is different.

Definately getting the cherry scent almost like a sweet Maraschino version. Really dominates the opening for me, not a lot of strong tobacco here despite the name. Maybe the artist is thinking of cherry pipe tobacco as I do not get the earthy, dark notes I typically expect from a scent with tobacco in the name.

Absolutely beautiful (although not not-seen-before). I agree with some people, that the name can be misleading since the cherry is so dominant, but definitely try this, it is truly wonderful
