Allure Homme Sport Cologne

One of mine grabs when I need to wear a refresher scent for the hottest weather in the day or a gym/workout reach. I live and I am active in the Beverly Hills area where it gets really hot in the summer and too heated for me to wear the usually suspects even such as a: Bleu EDT, Creed Aventus, or a Sauvage EDT. --- This is one of my favorite fresh/sport scents (with Aventus Cologne, Viking Cologne, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme, and Allure Sport/Allure Sport Eau Extreme). I am not the biggest citrus fan at times, but the quality you get from Allure Homme Sport Cologne Chanel is top-notch and this fragrance handles the heat so well. --- Yes, I do agree it has a citrus harsh opening, but that is what I love about this fragrance. I even get a bit of barbershop, Creed Viking vibe from it at times in the extreme heat I think because of the vanilla dry-down. --- Overall, it is a quality and classy citrus-sport scent that impresses people if you can pull it off in the summer. I usually wear it when I am active, going to the gym, or running an errand. Plus the bottle will get you attention, I pull it out of my gym bag and people are impressed with the way it looks. Not game changing, but a good roster spot if you're playing the fragrance game in depth and want to flex a good collection. --- Pros: classy gym scent, very smooth vanilla dry-down, citrus blast to wake you up, price (for a Chanel it is not badly expensive), bottle (one of the best looking bottles behind the Bleu line, so slick and cool) , brand (you are wearing a Chanel), and peace of mind (freshie that will always be liked). --- However, if you need something with more depth and power but still in a sport style than you might want to look into the Allure Sport or Allure Eau Extreme lines. --- (If you want to bump of your cologne taste even higher than you can try the Exclusifs one from Chanel but it is very expensive).

I've tried so many niche and designer perfumes, yet this remains my favorite for hot weather. First of all, this is one of the few perfumes that cannot be oversprayed. Not that I'd recommend overspraying, less is more, but this goes to show how pleasant this fragrance is. It's unambiguously mass compatible and pleasant. The main accord is a well-blended citrus mixture with bergamot as the dominant note and some fruitier citrus like mandarin mixed in to tame down the acidity. AHSC has the exceptionally airy feel typical for many Chanel fragrances and is surprisingly long-lasting. The higher the line in the thermometer climbs, the more light breezes of bergamot you get over the day. Silage is low to moderate, though. Why do I like it so much and why is it my summer go to fragrance? I've looked for "more interesting" substitutes and a bit of variation, but there is no substitute as easy going and flawless as this one. Dior Homme Cologne is wholly different and feels less natural. Many other high heat fragrances are either aquatics or their citrus evaporates too quickly and the return to a woody base. In contrast, AHSC somehow manages to keep its citrus accord dominant until the end, the rest just kind of rounds it up. The downside to this fragrance is perhaps that it is very linear and can become kind of boring. It's not something that will surprise someone, it just lifts the spirit of anyone who smells it. On a side note, I consider AHSC unisex if not leaning slightly towards feminine, and recommend it to women. It's a bit weird that it's marketed uniquely towards men.

I actually enjoy the fact that this is being auto-gatekeeped for some reason. No youtubers are reviewing it nowadays and it somehow makes me feel like I’m wearing a hidden gem. I spent like 3hrs in the shopping mall trying to decide whether Egoiste Platinum or Allure Cologne, while drinking a beer and watching baseball at the sports bar just to test the dry-down. Egoiste Platinum, phew—tough last option, but it turned out too formal or mature, loved it tho. Allure Sport EDT was also under the radar, but i'm a Superleggera owner so it was a bit redundant. I'd say Allure Cologne is 60% noble-realistic mandarin/orange, 20% lemon/bergamot and 30% Chanel's good stuff. Dry-down isn't going into any unwanted territories, just straight-fwd citrus. I've finally found my perfect gym scent! BUT it also works perfectly on a date OR an outdoors formal event OR basically any other occasion. Finally—a citrus with great quality and longevity! I like Dior Sport but it dries too woodsy for the gym. LV Afternoon Swim is nice and so is Dior Cologne, but I think they faint too soon and they don't go beyond that lemon squeeze. Hermes Eau Givree is perfect, just a bit challenging for this environment tho (pulling the trigger soon... or maybe Tom Ford Grey Vetiver hehe). Just wanted a simple, straight forward citrus scent that could work for the gym and this one did it! Bleu EDT is also a good option and part of my collection, but dries down a bit cosmetic-ish for the occasion. 7 word summary: New Money Realistic Citrus, classic Chanel quality. 10/10

Mmmmboy, I really like this one. I have Allure Homme, and Allure Homme Sport EDT and love them both. This one is also an EDT, even though it's called cologne, so I initially thought it was an EDC. Kind of confusing. I also thought it would smell too much like one or the other that I own, but it doesn't at all. This one has a really nice bold fresh citrus pop at first, which lasts for a short while. Then it mellows down and smells so great. The dry down is where I thought it might be redundant or too similar to one of the others, but it really isn't like either. Kind of its own thing. The Allure Homme and the AH Sport have noticeably similar DNA, but are definitely not the same. I actually like the AH Sport better than the Eau Extreme version, which I know is often times not the popular opinion, but it's more in my lane scent profile wise. This Cologne version though is much more of a fresh one even after the incredible creamy, soft woody, mildly spicy dry down (not much citrus to my nose later on but still fresh).. So even though I'd wear the other two in any season, this one is perhaps more of a warm weather leaning one. It's still versatile though, especially in a work/indoor scenario. Not sure yet on the performance/projection on myself quite yet in the real world, I only had the spray on my arm which seemed to last for a good while. I bought it shortly after my skin test run after walking around in the mall. I'm really happy I got this, it's a must have for any Chanel lover out there.

I see this as Jacques Polge's and Chanel's more modern take on Dior's Eau Sauvage, made more appropriate for hot summer days. Like Eau Sauvage, it serves the purpose of a gentlemanly, brisk and energizing scent, very photorealistically citrusy and green. This slept under my radar for far too long (I'm a big fan of Polge's timeless work), but I finally decided to give it a try recently and bought the 150 ml bottle almost instantly upon trying it, based on its beautiful opening alone. This will be absolutely perfect for the portuguese hot summer days we're in right now. Brisk, bright, fresh, effervescent, colorful, uplifting, both gentlemanly and sporty. Even though this feels more casual than most of the rest in the Allure line, it still retains that classy touch which is ever present in almost all of Polge's repertoire. Similarly to something like Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée, it's got no real dense backbone, nor do I feel it was meant to, as it would undoubtedly take away from it very fresh and airy nature. This is an eau de toilette that serves its purpose for a few hours as you run errands on hot summer days, go shopping, sightseeing, a walk on a beach, or even a working day in the office when you want to avoid offending those sensitive noses (we all know they exist). It stays clean and subtle as it dries down, and it still lingers, albeit faintly, into the 6-7 hour range. Enjoy it for what it is and you won't be dissappointed!

A burst of fresh lemons on the initial spray, then I smelled something herbaceous like celery or parsley which bothered me a bit. So I checked the note breakdown and only saw "spices", then read a note from Chanel — ..."A generous citrus freshness is subtly heightened by spicy Lovage and Elemi notes and set against a backdrop of Cedar and White Musk."... So it is LOVAGE, w/c smells similar to celery, that I am smelling strongly, wrestling with lemons here. Knowing these made me appreciated the scent more. I really thought I got a bad batch, cos everyone only seemed to point out lemons. This is really not just lemons. The scent is very Chanel — simple yet complex. The aldéhydes present on my Chanel no. 5 eau de toilette is moderately present here as well. A cologne that lasts on me for 7-8 hours sometimes longer (on the box it says Eau de toilette btw). I enjoy the drydown a lot. Fresh and spicy accompanied by light florals too. Projection is not beast mode but you have a beautiful scent bubble around you for many hours, which I actually prefer more. I have the 100 ml 2016 batch, "cologne" version. The juice is mostly clear with a slightly yellow tinge. I also have the Dior Homme Cologne and honestly, they don't smell the same. I prefer Chanel over Dior for this cologne.

A beautiful, effervescent citrus opening which quickly turns into a slightly green, tangerine type scent. The dry down really does have this wonderful watery quality which makes it incredibly refreshing. I love to wear this in the high heat and it’s one of only a few fragrances I’d consider wearing to the gym. It’s definitely not going to offend anyone and yet it has quite a unique scent profile that will stand out from the crowd. Every time I smell this on myself i get a mental image of a crystal clear jug of spring water that is filled with mandarin pieces, slices of lemon and something slightly green. Performance on this is really quite good and I believe it is an EDT despite having cologne in the name. I get whiffs throughout the whole day and it projects well for the first couple of hours particularly in high heat. In terms of how it compares to Dior Homme Cologne. To my nose this is far superior. DHC is completely linear and to me it smells so much like Sprite/7-up I almost feel like I’ve spilled a sugary drink on my skin. On the hand, this develops much more and the dry down is much more interesting and refreshing to my nose.

Absolute love this scent. Spicy, fresh, citrusy. On my skin the notes I get the most are the lemon (lots of lemon), bergamot (ton of that too) and that signature orange note from all of the Allure Homme Sport fragrances (all the flankers have pretty dominant orange notes if I’m not mistaken). I also get a little bit of spice in there with the pepper and a touch of green feeling. Uplifting scent I’m using for this quarantine time. Got quite a few compliments from my few wearings last year too. Only bad things would be the price and the performance. There are many fragrances that does the same thing, in the same style of fragrance that cost half the price of this and still smells good. The poor performance doesn’t help it either. Lasted around 5-6 hours on me, and by the 5h mark only you can smell you (unless other people hug you or burry their noses on your skin) on clothes I could get 7-8h, but with absolutely no projection after an hour. It does project well on skin for around 1.5 - 2 hours, but after that it’s a skin scent. Overall 7.5/10. The scent itself would get 9/10, but the performance and the price drags it down by a lot

Extremely light and refreshing. Opens with realistic zesty, tangy, tart lemon grapefruit and other citruses, accompanied by fresh spicy and woody notes and some aldehyde. Neroli gives it a slightly soapy quality. This smells very similar to Dior Homme Cologne, both great scents, to me the Chanel feels less powdery, more soapy, a little deeper and more complex. Excellent fresh out of shower vibes that will instantly refresh and uplift your mood, but very classy and elegant at the same time. Unfortunately the performance is lackluster, super close to the skin projection, 2-3 sprays on the same spot, barely detectable after 2 hours. But that’s to be expected for a fragrance of this scent profile. Extremely enjoyable while it lasts tho, IMO this is something you wear more for yourself to feel refreshed as opposed to for others. Allure Homme Sport Cologne is a typical Chanel, airy and aldehydic. It's super fresh, ideal for hot summer days or into the gym. This fragrance typically gets praised for a very sharp and fresh citrus opening. Can we please get more appreciation for the drydown? The spices, fir resin and musk are absolutely beautiful and a very pleasant surprise after the initial citrus fizzes out. I find the performance to be very dependent on the temperature and humidity. The hotter the better. When the outside temperatures get over 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees F), this is an absolute killer with enormous sillage, however, the longevity is no better than average, as one would probably expect from a summer fragrance. I wouldn't do more than 3-5 sprays, unless you're planning to spend the day outdoors. I very much prefer this over the rest of the Allure Homme line. Personally, I don't get any associations to citrus detergents, this is very inoffensive and could totally be worn as unisex.

It's very frustrating that I spent hundreds, maybe a couple of thousands of euros to find my holy grail of lemon citrus frags. And then, soo close in my favourite department store, I discover Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne. A masterpiece made by my favourite perfumer Jacques Polge. I always thought it was a flat watery short lasting sports cologne. But this one is so refreshing, elegant and balanced that I really wonder why my olfactory system didn't pick this one up sooner. The best citrus opening ever. So fresh, tart and inviting. The balsam fir is blended into perfection with all the other notes. This one over classes my Dior Homme Cologne, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, Simone Andreoli Zest di Sorrento and even my Xerjoff Casamorati Fiero. Dior Homme Cologne is in the opening very close but goes wrong with that dirty water musk in the dry down. And the performance of the Chanel AHSC is very acceptable if you spray generously. So I have to get the 150 ml ASAP!

I went to the Chanel boutique today to try out their mens fragrances. I tried this and, man this is so good. The freshest out of the Allure Homme line and probably my favorite. Starts off very citrusy, woody, fresh and aromatic with this fresh spicy feel. Drys down to a more woody fragrance. Lets talk about performance. I got around 5-6 hours with a soft to medium projection leaning masculine. This is absolutely perfect for the spring and summer in the high heat. Go heavy on the sprays because this isn't too strong or long lasting like its flankers. This is definitely my next pick-up. Lastly, is it a safe blind buy? Hell yeah it is. Im sure all age groups would love this stuff since its so fresh and matches all age groups. 10/10 masterpiece by Chanel. In conclusion: Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 6/10 Projection: 6/10 Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne: 9/10 Edit: I just copped this and it smelt even better on my skin than on a test strip 🔥

As a long-time admirer of Dior Homme Cologne (DHC), I recently decided to test Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne (CAHSC) to see if it could earn a spot among my top scents. To my surprise, CAHSC is criminally underrated and despite its outstanding qualities, it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. The opening is a refreshing burst of citruses—lemon, bergamot, and citron—that interplay beautifully with sweet, tart, and bitter nuances. This invigorating start is both clean and almost thirst-quenching. As it dries down, the fragrance mellows with a blend of white musk and tonka bean, yet the bright citrus notes remain prominent. This as well as DHC have become two of my favorite summer fragrances. The drydown is among the best I have ever encountered for a hot weather option. I'd prefer DHC over CAHSC if I had to choose one but you cannot go wrong with either. Dior is just my favorite house.

One of my go-to's for warmer weather. The way the citrus opens — bright, clean, and effortless — followed by smooth neroli and that soft, airy woodiness, feels timeless and sophisticated. It carries that unmistakable Chanel elegance: well-balanced, refined, and never trying too hard. It often gets compared to Dior Homme Cologne, and honestly, I really enjoy both. Dior has that crisp, ice-cold lemonade freshness that’s perfect for scorching days when you want something bright and energizing. But for me, Allure Homme Sport feels a little more complete. It’s brighter in the opening, smoother in transition, and the dry down has a creamy, clean quality that just wears beautifully in the heat. Both have their place, but if I had to choose one to keep in my rotation, it would be this. One of the best citrus-neroli based scents out there — clean, versatile, and quietly confident.

Really fantastic. Smells like Lemonade!! Changes your mood. Just the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. I have Terre Hermes Eau Givree which I love and consider to have one of the best openings in the frag game. If the Terre Hermes is the sour Grapefruit; then AHS cologne is like the lemon version of that great opening. Light, tart, clean uplifting. Most lemon frags smell synthetic, not this one. The bad news is that It only lasts about hour or so before it settles to a very faint woody neroli. That hangs on for 3-4 hrs. So You have to respray this thing every hour. And it only projects maybe a foot or so. Normally I wont buy freshies that dont last or at least fill a room with projection. But this is the exception because its exceptional- it just invigorates you. puts you in a good mood. It makes me feel like I smell naturally amazing. 10/10. Bottle worthy.

This is either described as a hidden gem OR it gets a bad rap for being too lemony citrus. I now see why. I blind bought this and love it -- for it's special purpose of hot weather or sports/gym. It's a cologne, so mostly intended to be uplifting for the wearer. Smelling the sprayer cap, trying it on a tester strip or on your arm at the store is guaranteed to give the wrong (bad) impression. First, this takes a few minutes for the strong citrus/lemon opening to settle down. Second, this is a fragrance that you need to let come to you rather than close sniffing. Third, the dry down is subtle and superb in the heat with resins, lovage and vetiver. Wearing this outdoors or to the gym results in about 4 hours of nice wafts of mild citrus with those mid/base notes. Keeps me motivated at the gym. Wakes me up in the morning. Could even be worn to the office in the summer.

Elite citrus fragrance. Opening is a realistic lemon, grapefruit, bergamot and sweet orange medley. Simply fantastic if you like citrus. Towards the mid it's pretty much a lightly sweet orange and grapefruit with clean musk and clean neroli. Also a gentle breeze of green with the citrus. More complex and interesting than Dior Homme Cologne and light years better than Jimmy Choo Man Ice. This also reminds me of a higher quality Banana Republic Vintage Green with better and more variety of citruses and less of the herbal feel I get from VG. Scent 9.8/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Overall: 9.5/10 I'm more about experiencing the scent, not always about making sure everyone in the room smells me all day, I have other options for that. This is invigorating. Does perform much better than Dior Homme Cologne.

Finally got around to buying a new a bottle of this a couple of months ago. Beautiful. And a real workhorse of the genre in terms of performance. I respect it enormously. As is typical with Chanel, the formulation has held up extremely well over the years. I get a touch of cumin in the opening blast of the new one that I don't recall from before. But it dissipates, leaving an almost identical scent, with the newer one being perhaps not quite as soft in the late dry-down (less musk, more cedar?). My original bottle, circa 2009, was the larger 150 ml size with that cool quadrant graphic on the back. The constant references to Dior Homme Cologne are overdone. They're really not that much alike. But I fully understand the natural temptation to compare offerings from these two great houses.

This is amazing! Amongst my 60+ niche perfumes and at least 20 freshies for the summer this keeps one of the best, why? Cuz it’s simple and perfectly blended! Chanel does know how to blend things, specially the allure line, airy yet elegant. Fresh opening of lemon, mandarin and neroli is what I get and bit after the grapefruit pops up with some vetiver and Tonka to balance the vetiver so you just smell a citrus kind of vibe! This is piece of art and definitely is a cologne.. it’s refreshing, citrusy and still versatile and very elegant. Longevity don’t know why people complain maybe it’s skin chemistry but with hot summer I get easily 8+ hours with few hours of good projection. With discounters I got my 100ML for 75€ and that’s decent for this even perfect balanced in price as well

Chanel must have tweaked the formulation for this within the last couple of years because that annoying “celery” note is gone! It smells so much better now and more like a true cologne flanker of AHS. I would rank this right alongside Edition Blanche, similar quality, and slightly longer lasting on my skin. This stuff doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Beautiful and elegant citruses with some spice and musk. A bit more complex to my nose than Dior Homme Cologne. I personally can’t really smell any tonka bean. This is one you don’t have to hunt down an older batch for as the newer ones are much more pleasant in my opinion. I would still overspray it as the performance is typical of an eau de cologne or even eau fraiche. A very classy “go to” summer scent for the hottest of days.

Allure Homme Sport Cologne is a citrusy, aromatic and herbal fragrance. It has a great citrus opening, which is also enriched with some herbal and spicy notes. As the minutes go by it becomes more musky and woody. The aroma changes slightly from the Allure Sport, giving more presence to the fresh notes and taking away the sweet or creamy notes of that fragrance. It is an ideal perfume for warm days, in spring and summer, casual outings, etc. It's a pretty nice fragrance. In performance, it remained close to 6 hours, with a low wake. I have a fragrance that has a slightly similar aroma which is Citrus Cedro by Adolfo Dominguez, and at a quarter of the price of the Chanel fragrance, so it is an excellent alternative, maybe with a little less quality, but much cheaper.

This is not so much of a review, more of a comparison. I have Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne that says Cologne Sport on the bottom of the bottle, 150 ml/5 oz. I have not tried the newer version that says only Cologne. The older version does not remind me that much of Dior Homme Cologne from the start. CAHSC (Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne) is way more spicy and full bodied while DHC (Dior Homme Cologne) is so much brighter. When CAHSC begins to drydown they are more similar. DHC doesn’t change that much. So even if I own CAHSC I bought the DHC 2022 version because I don’t think it’s redundant to have both in my collection. For me Chanel is more upscale 👔 while Dior is a blast of fresh citrus, best worn on a hot summer day 🍋 ☀️ Love em both!

I am in love with this one. Allure Homme Sport Cologne is my favorite flanker of this line that I have tried thus far. Only ones I still need to try are original AHS and Edition Blanche. This has a perfect burst of fresh, zesty citrus but it's balanced with a light peppery spiciness. It projects a reasonable distance and "lifts" off of your skin. Very clean and beautiful dry down, which is very similar to the original Allure Homme but a bit more peppery on my skin. Performance is mediocre at 1-2 hours projection and 3-6 hours on my skin, and that's if I moisturize and overspray. Faint skin scent after that until roughly 8 hours. Best bet would likely be to layer this on top of something else or use moisturizing oils on your skin before applying.

From a Chanel (kind of) hater to a glazer. I randomly stumbled across this fragrance while searching for a different fragrance for my father. One single bottle, standing on the far right of the shelf, placed haphazardly. And I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this 150ML bottle. To my nose this formulation sort of combines the citrusy aspect from Edition Blanche and the musky aspect from Superleggera. And yes I know these two came out WAY after this cologne variant. It's classy, sophisticated, timeless. It's elegant, it's inviting, and it's blended beautifully. Despite being a citrus forward fragrance, I can see this being an excellent year-round fragrance, I prefer this to Bleu De Chanel Parfum for example.

Best summer cologne imo. This has a little more depth than Dior Homme Cologne (another summer beauty), probably because of his woodsy base notes, when DHC is more about the citrus and musks, this one is citrus, some green undertone it and nice woods. I had always bad performance with all Chanels that I own (only OG Egoiste performs for a long time, the rest after 4-5 hours are just skin scents), but with this one just works amazing on my skin, I get whiffs from this cologne after 9-10 hours (I put something between 12 to 15 sprays with this one). For me is just my summer staple, and I feel this one goes under the radar from other people, and I love it, my underrated summer passion ♥️

Quick take: Chanel is one of my favorite houses. I own a lot of their scents and thus far none have disappointed. They really didn’t do this one any favors as far as where it stands in the Allure line. The more I wear it the more I realize that if Chanel were to take their amazing Chance fragrances for women and make a men’s version it would be this. Chanel Chance Cologne for men. I love this stuff! It performs well and the citrus is clean and fresh. A spring and summer scent for sure but doesn’t fall flat in the fall or winter. 7.9/10 - Love the scent. Even though the bottle is aesthetically my favorite from the line I wish they’d have abandoned the Allure title from this one.

After testing side by side with Dior homme cologne, I find that dhc is more specific, simple, and carefree, whereas the Chanel is more complex with spices and the aldehydic touch. I would say the Chanel comes across a bit dirtier actually due to these differences. Both great frags, and the Chanel is what I’d call better overall, more versatile, can be worn in cooler weather, more projection. I’m still gonna buy the Dior though, bc I’m looking for a summer only frag that works in high heat (both do this well), and have others for office/cooler weather or which are quite spicy that I’d go for before either of these. Very much depends on use imo, and for me the Dior fits better.

I think this is a major slept on fragrance by Chanel. Maybe it's the reformulation done in 2016. Whatever it is, I'm glad not everyone is walking around with this. Not to keep it a secret, but it's nice to wear something not everyone is familiar with. It's a clean, non-polarizing and fresh scent. Very pleasant. 10/10 in my book. And perfect as a signature scent. After it settles down it's just smooth and clean. Looking for reviews of this formulation, and generally tests of it on YouTube, leads almost nowhere. If you find anything it's usually for the older cologne sport version, which from what I can tell was less smooth, and less liked, though it was still well received.

I just got this 5fl.oz. 150ml for 66€ - plus it’s got the Cologne Sport which to my understanding is an older batch the juice is semi yellow I pulled the trigger online and was a little scared it’s a fake but once I sprayed it the quality of it put me at ease...roll on hot days! Since I’ve been giving some wearing this is way better performer on me than AHSEE, maybe skin chemistry IDK, another reason to always sample before buying. And no, I won’t play the snob by wearing this to gym, I have cheapies that cover that. This deserves way more respect of wearing to go out for drinks,lunch etc. Think I’ll repurchase. I’m really pleased by this, simple yet invigorating.

I picked this one up in a trade. I wasn't much of a fan at first and would just use it as a gym scent. I find the spices and for in the opening a little off putting. I do get that celery smell in the opening as well, which is also odd. However in the dry down is where I really love this stuff. I get a light citrus with a strong wood smell. It reminds me a little of Dior homme 2020, not the Dior homme cologne which is more citrus and floral. It lasts about 8 hours on me and projects decently. I still like to use it for the gym, but I find it works great as an office and daytime scent. Honestly it's too refined for the gym, but I enjoy it all the same. Great stuff!

It's surprising this doesn't get more props....it's almost a little secret, which is kind of shocking considering this is the interpretation of the Cologne genre from the world's best perfumer ,Master Perfumer Jacques Polge. Did you think he wasn't going to create something incredible?? lol, no when the GOAT releases something it's going to be a banger! I think it's the best citrus cologne out there, its a shame people are complaining now about poor performance because my 150ml bottle is from 2013 and it's still wonderful and lasts a long time, more than 6 hours which for a cologne is fantastic......I feel bad for Royalmagic below.

**Reviewing "Cologne Sport" bottle produced in 2012** Most realistic lemon opening. Straight up crushed lemon. Fresh, juicy, delectable citric, bitter, sour, zesty, a tiny bit sweet all at the same time. Mouthwatering. Sparkling and bright. It quickly develops into a spicy peppery resinous lemon with attitude, character and depth. Sharp, manly, and elegant. Airy and natural. Lemon is the main player from beginning till end. Faint woody musky base shines through as it dries. Ideal for hot outdoors weather, versatile. Appropriate for casual or office wear. 6 to 7 hours longevity on skin with moderate projection. 5-7 sprays. 8/10

It does it’s job. I love using this when I’m out and about running my day to day errands, to the super market, post office or to the thrift shops. It works wonders at the gym as well. Could see myself using this for a day at the beach or the river. It’s light, citrusy, invigorating almost like a cold Capri sun. As the day goes on, the base begins to shine and that beautiful tonka sets in. This is gold! Non synthetic, and lasts between 7-8 hours on my skin. Mind you, I have a 5oz “cologne sport” bottle from 2014. Haven’t had a chance to smell the newer batch, but I imagine the olfactory hasn’t changed? Try this and get it!

I have THOUSANDS of dollars worth of fragrances, but I underestimated this gem and never even tested it. I can very easily see me being able to layer this with almost every fragrance I own. After I purchase Coco Noir, this will be my next Chanel fragrance without a doubt. I have not loved or wanted a “clean and fresh” fragrance like this in FOREVER. The opening sparkles like Chanel N°5 Eau Premier due to the fizzy aldehydes and and the twist of various citrus notes and bergamot. This is like a crispy, fizzy soda but for your nose. This will be my first 5 ounce fragrance purchase ever, and I can’t wait😋

This fragrance is very nice!! I wore CAHSC to church today and the projection and performance was amazing on my skin. But most importantly the scent profile is incredible to my nose!! The citrus 🍋🍊 is absolutely stunning and the dry down is extremely pleasant!! What I'm learning in my fragrance journey is to not listen to anyone else and try the fragrance out myself and make my own judgement. And I recommend that we all do the same!! However I do recommend to try this fragrance for yourself on skin and come to your own conclusion. 10/10 for me and a perfect fragrance for the hot weather 🌡️🌞.

This fragrance really smells good on skin and clothing in the summer time and it's one of the best citrus 🍋🍊 fragrances that money can buy. On my skin I get good longevity and projection that last 8 to 7 hours which is phenomenal for a freshie. I know that this fragrance isn't cheap but luckily I bought this fragrance last summer on my cruise ship and I paid around 125.00 at the duty free shop so I was able to save a few bucks. I live in California so I'm able to wear this fragrance year round and this fragrance can be worn in any setting and you won't offend anyone around you at all.

Definitely the best of the entire Allure line. It's an excellent citrus 'cologne' (cologne in style, it is in fact an EDT-says on the bottom of the bottle), with a surprising solid performance, better than most EDT (I find it can easily last for 8-9 hours). There is something off about the pyramid on here: I don't think there is any grapefruit or aldehydes, pepper is a heart note together with elemi (according to official website), and base is that typical Chanel combo of cedar and musk which comes off very luxurious (unlike other musks). Ideal for summer.

This Fragrance could be better but as a Cologne concentrate I can’t expect anything less. You get a strong burst of lemon as soon as you spray it. For me this fragrance lasts longer on clothes and easily fades away on skin. I just really wished this fragrance performed better for the 120 dollar price point. Would I recommend this fragrance to anyone? Maybe if you’re a collector and plan to try out all the allure line. This one is probably the weakest one of the allure fragrances so be careful with this one. I would recommend trying a sample first.

I love the fresh lemon opening! It reminds me of lemon heads candy for a moment until the aldehydes kick in. This is an awesome fragrance that I wish would last a tad longer. Dior Homme Cologne is a little longer lasting fragrance, but isn’t as good as this in my opinion. If Chanel would make this more affordable, they wouldn’t ever be able to keep it on the shelves through the spring and summer months. I get around 6 hours working outdoors in the heat, profusely sweating, so I believe it handles the task for such a freshie. Two thumbs-up👍👍

Hm... I want to give my opinion too, but actually, I don't know how I feel about it. Yes, I wore it for the whole last summer and I was actually happy about it. I'm a guy wich normally takes complex fragrances and this one is not that type, but its simplicity is a definite advantage of it. This fragrance is a clean classy summer fragrance. Even if you're not in some summer destination, its projection will give you this feeling of walking the beach in a classy subtle summer outfit. It's really nice creation, 8/10 from me!

@fragranceguy222 why are you letting the secret out??? 😛 This stuff is terrible smelling with bad performance & overpriced & hard to find and the sprayer sucks... /S This stuff slaps. Fresh sparkling lemon opening as real and juicy as any ADP frag. Mid of lemon/orange, spice, celery & clean flowers with warm base of fir tonka & musk. Citrus holds up a good while & fragrance has very Chanel like performance. Projects well for 1-2 hours, 2-4 sprays lasts all day & will project a little if your skin heats up for 6-8 hours.

The glory in a bottle. Allure Cologne Sport makes me believe in "sport" or "cologne" versions. One of the 3 fragances that I bought inmediatly of test in the shop s doors. Natural lemon juice coming on at first sniff, lemon-wood and lime. Homemade lemonade with tea and herbs. A luxury cologne with very force and imprint. Only for summer days and nights. Smells like an expensive yacht or boating club. Remainds me the vintage colognes before a bath. Invigoranting, optimistic, and cozy. Male-cousin of Eau de Rochas femme.

Who can find fault in this divine creation from Master Perfumer Jacques Polge? It's perfection for its genre. Great performance too, what's not to like? I think it's the King of citrus frags, I've heard others say it's the truest representation of fresh cut lemons in perfume,....I believe them. While not listed I smelled a faint hint of mugler cologne or 4711, it must be the neroli they all share, but this Chanel has some woods and pepper to add depth to this magnificent offering I give it a 10/10, why not eh?

It's super fresh, clean and elegant. It opens up with zesty lemon then dry down is musky. A refreshing balance of lively citrus notes combined with musk and a woodier base , but still retains a touch of that familiar sweetness of the tonka bean. This cologne reminds me of Dior Homme Cologne but it launched before Dior Homme Cologne! I love Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne. It's good for spring and summer. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection. Highly Recommended. Two Thumbs Up. Rating : 8.5/10

White tee shirt on a hot summer 🏝️🌞 day is what this fragrance was made for. I purchased this fragrance while on my vacation 10th anniversary cruise for 124.00 no sales tax and while still pricey I'm happy to save any amount of money for a Chanel fragrance. Beautiful scent, Lemon 🍋 mandarin orange 🍊, spices, neroli ❤️, woods and tonka bean and I don't mind that it doesn't last long because I love the scent and it works really well in the high heat. Not all fragrances need to be beast mode.

My most versatile high-heat fragrance hands down. Citrus, musk, woods and a little spice. Sharp, bright and vibrant top, then slightly herbal finally tapering off into a smooth somewhat-woody musk with a citric tinge and dash of sweetness. I love such aromatic fragrances. Never cloying, overbearing or too much of anything one thing except the citrus on initial application. Excellent longevity with moderate to slightly above average projection throughout. Timeless classic and FB worthy.

The current reformulation is 100% Dior Homme Cologne.I prefer the vintage version which had a very sour, bitter orange type of vibe. Many people have argued, and said that it hasn't been reformulated. I believe it has. The reformulated version has been updated to fit in more with the toxic masculinity is evil type of crowd. For those of you that prefer the former, check out Cartier Declaration Essence. CDE fits in the same family as a great bitter summer type of fragrance.

The only frag from the allure line that works on my skin which is very odd.... This stuff is amazing. I love it, I tried Dior Cologne, this is similar but better in the dry down, the opening is a little more harsh with the Chanel but I wouldn't have it any other way. Its also got a very slight shower gel/soapy vibe but a really high quality one, the Dior doesn't go that far. A solid 10/10 BTW you could absolutely pull this off in the winter, it just depends how dry it is

I’ve tested it a few times while I was looking for a perfect freshy summer cologne for hot and humid days. I ended up narrowing it down to this and Dior Homme Cologne, and although I loved this one, it was a bit too much citrusy and bitter for my taste. The performance of Chanel was better, but DHC is more fresh and breezy. To be fair, I found both of them to be masterpieces in their own right and perfect for summer, so I don’t think you can go wrong any way you choose.

Now that the temperature has reached 30 degrees in my city I have brought my bottle of Allure Homme Sport Cologne Sport out of storage. For me, this is the smell of summer. This one really has to be experienced on skin. It can smell a bit harsh right at the opening, especially on a test strip, but after a couple minutes it becomes a beautiful musky/citrusy fragrance that lasts a surprisingly long time. Simply perfect for those hot humid summer days.
