Bleu de Chanel

To begin, I must acknowledge that Bleu de Chanel, particularly the EDT, holds a special place in my heart as my all-time favorite fragrance. Consequently, if you seek an objective review that presents both the positive and negative aspects equitably, you may choose to proceed elsewhere. My intention is to share my personal experience and the reasons behind my profound admiration for this fragrance. As the name suggests, Bleu de Chanel is indeed a blue fragrance. I imagine this is what Mr. Jacques Polge pictured what the color blue smells like, as the name literally means ‘Blue of Chanel’ in French. However, it stands out as the blue fragrance that initiated the trend of every brand creating its own blue fragrance, including the immensely popular Dior Sauvage. While it faced initial criticism upon its release, it is quite evident that such criticism has since dissipated. Despite being a blue fragrance, Bleu de Chanel is far from being simplistic or juvenile, in my opinion. In fact, none of the blue fragrances I have encountered approach the level of sophistication and polish achieved by Bleu de Chanel. This fragrance is a must-try for enthusiasts, as it offers a unique and unparalleled experience, allowing one to discern the meticulous chemistry that has gone into its creation. As mentioned, this perfume was crafted by the legendary perfumer Mr. Jacques Polge. The opening of Bleu de Chanel is nothing short of spectacular. The grapefruit note is particularly captivating, surpassing my initial expectations. While the grapefruit is toned down in the EDP, I find it to be an integral component of the original, contributing to my preference of the original over the EDP. Subsequently, as the fragrance evolves, a captivating combination of incense and ISO e super emerges. Notably, the EDP omits the subtle musky undertone. This musky note, off the skin, is the most enduring aspect of the fragrance. The combination of the ISO e super , incense and the underlying musky tone instills a profound sense of confidence whenever I apply the fragrance. As outlined in my review of the EDP, both this fragrance and the EDP are remarkably similar in scent. Without significant wear time on this DNA, it would be virtually impossible to discern which is which. Even now, I find it challenging to identify the subtle differences. While the EDP offers a more secure option based on its scent profile, in my opinion, the original possesses a more distinctive character and does not cater to everyone, which is a quality I appreciate. When it comes to wearability as I stated in my review of the EDP, while some individuals assert that anyone can pull off the Bleu de Chanel DNA, I respectfully disagree. I think it was made with a certain type of individual in mind. It can indeed be worn with casual and/or formal attire and is suitable for most seasons and occasions, but it is worth noting that the Bleu de Chanel DNA possesses a clean yet dark undertone, making it ideal for individuals who exude elegance in their demeanor. It is not suitable for individuals who seek attention or those who are overly extroverted. Dior’s Sauvage is more appropriate for such individuals. In contrast, the Bleu de Chanel DNA exudes a more somber and reserved aura. It does not draw attention and is suitable for individuals who prefer to work in the shadows and maintain a sense of seriousness and class. It conveys an elegant yet enigmatic ambiance, making it ideal for individuals who are more reserved in the way they carry themselves and the company they choose to keep. I believe that individuals over 20 with this kind of personality are who Mr Polge pictured when he masterfully crafted the Bleu de Chanel DNA. The performance of both fragrances on my skin is nuclear, and they both last over 12 hours. The projection level is slightly above moderate, resulting in a pleasant projection within my scent bubble. For reference, the batch on my bottle that I’m reviewing from is 3201. This fragrance holds a special place in my heart beyond its captivating scent. It evokes cherished memories and the individuals associated with them. It has become my signature scent, worn only when I wish to preserve and relive precious moments. I wholeheartedly recommend this fragrance, rating it an exceptional 11/10.

Very debonair scent – pretty much set the modern day standard and yep, it’s a Chanel (with their classic blueprint of creating a fragrance that garners long-term respect over in the moment compliments). ----- Monster opening, and I mean monster with the grapefruit, just ethereal to me (only Allure Eau Extreme and Paco Rabanne 1 million come close to it). The only thing better than the opening is that bottle: coolest and best looking men’s fashion piece out right now, almost art when you place it on a shelf or hear the satisfying click of the magnetic cap (wish the Allure line had it). People see that iconic dark glass square, they know right away (it's up there with the 5 bottle now). ----- Overall, it is an extremely aggressive-crispy EDT, you don’t need that many sprays (people will smell it, I know from experience in the office) and it is pretty complex compared to other EDT’s on the market (it wants you to read some chapters). Not as Bleu as the marketing would appear it to be: think fresher-clean and woody-citrus. Makes you feel like a young and stylish lawyer or investor who just got promoted to partner or a model who just signed a major Hollywood motion picture deal to play a leading man. I also feel Bleu EDT is that bottle you get when you really journey into fragrances and get serious with your collection because the Chanel gate will have to be unlocked at some point. ----- Set the stage for all future Chanel Bleu releases with that dark/mysterious GQ model polish to it. I feel at times it’s too good for what you get, I can’t casual wear it anymore, it’s too elegant of scent (get one of the Allures for daily usage). But man, I love coming back to this scent (reminds me why I love fragrances); it just has a lot of grandeur in its DNA. Bleu EDT is one of those scents that you don’t daily but wear once like every three weeks because you don’t want to burn out on it. Like you will always come back to it and have a roster spot to place it in no matter how long you pause with it. Also it is heavy, I don’t get it on the hot days; yes the opening makes it seem like a cologne-fresh heat absorber, but it gets heavy in the dry down for me. ----- For the price and what you get, it’s a steal: a classy Chanel that will last and work in most situations for like $130-$150 (if you go directly to retail with taxes). Once you get to the EDP and Parfum it does become expensive. And trust me it is more powerful you than you think when you wear it - people can smell Bleu EDT from a distance, and don't wear it to the gym.

Équi que the perfume is mostra sua faceta mais sofisticada e sedutora. Lifespan: Approximately 8 hours, as long as it is not present, it will be invasive. Projection/Rastro: Moderately strong in the first 2 hours, it should be kept in advance but it should be kept in mind, whichever way it turns out and is safe. Bleu de Chanel is a “coringa” fragrance type: combined absolutely with you. If there is no work environment, a romantic encounter, a social event or a formal but formal event, it is never disappointing. This function is in some cases, but it is excellent no problem, first and foremost. Ideal for both daytime and nighttime use, it takes advantage of the day to come, so it should be free and refined. During many years, Bleu de Chanel faith or melhor perfume of my life. A verdadeiro companheiro olfativo, versátil e confiável, que acompanhou me em momentos marcantes. However, even though the new designs were already in the collection and the figure between bones 7 and above, it was a good place to be, as it is a classic that never knows the fashion and never leaves the lembranças with a unique borrifada. Final Rating: 9.7/10 Bleu de Chanel is elegant, timeless, and transmits confidence without effort. After 3 years testing more than 200 fragrances on a lifetime mission to find my signature scent, I have to say this is the King! The most kind and inviting King of them all. First, about the EDT x EDP debate. EDP is a denser and creamer version, it has that cozy vibe and could be a better option when it gets really cold and if you dig so much into bleu's scent that you are willing to pay more for a denser-cozy winter and/or more mature version. It lasts a bit more but it does not project as much. As soon as weather hits really low, I tend to wear spicier frags to warm things up, so EDT for me is the best bang for my buck and my wearings, as i love Bleu as a signature scent not as a ''cold night special event'' frag. EDT is louder, crispier and sporty, but both are versatile. EDP is easily unisex IMO. First time I used it (EDT) I though it was nice but not a 'wow' worthy fragrance, and that was totally a misconception that I had at the time about the proposal of this fragrance. After testing dozens and dozens of other frags, niches included, Bleu was always coming back as an intriguing inviting smell. It's simple but complex in its composition, so much as it was impossible to find this kind of simplicity/quality on other fragrances! ...and believe me, I've tried. The incense fruity vibe, the impeccable vetiver (probably one of the best vetiver uses from this decade), makes this fragrance really hard to replace and duplicate. Young women usually don't like heavy-loaded vetiver male fragrances, it pushes that old uncle vibe, but Bleu's vetiver is precisely crafted to counter attack the fruity/spicy aspects and so it delivers an amazing overall young male vibe! Bleu is the easiest option to please the female audience for some reasons, it's inviting and kind to their noses, it's probably not the most complimented fragrance because it doesn't project as much as some niche fruity frags and some ambroxan bombs out there, but as soon as women fell this scent, they are in heaven! It awesomeness lies on its ingredients and well-balanced composition, it's distinct on the sum of its parts, not on single aspects. Sorry haters, but this is an amazing composition, better than most niche fragrances out there, Coco would've been proud!

An absolute classic of 2010s perfumery this strips away the barber shop woodiness of many fragrances from before it and also the more intense multi-note complicated blends of the past and offers a highly clean, watery vibe. This is what made me fall in love with men's perfume. This is not challenging in the slightest, charming citrus notes that are bright and effervescent in the opening followed by very very light Woods in the base. Bleu de Chanel is the ultimate dumb reach the eau de toilette? Definitely vanishes as is reported and also smells slightly more metallic in its dry down prior to disappearing blue. Additional eau de toilet smells beautiful and is the ultimate gateway into the world of perfumes! It is THE shower gel fragrance and remains a favorite of mine. That said, compared to its subsequent flankers eau de toilette, the more raw materials base that you find in the more expensive blends. It is also" the worst performing" in that it really does vanish after a couple of hours and to truly carry that smell, you would need to spray intensely and still freshen up with additional sprays throughout the day. But if you have been curious about colognes and are looking for something accessible that will not be a Miss for almost anyone. This is the bottle that you've been looking for.

Sophisticated. Classic. Commanding. Timeless. Men know this scent. Step into an Uber, and the driver knows it’s Chanel. I love wearing this - when people ask what I’m wearing, I simply say: "Chanel... because we all need a little Chanel in our lives." For my first blue fragrance, I wanted quality, so I started with Bleu de Chanel - and wow. Fresh, clean, and smooth - no harsh bitterness - just a masterfully blended scent that evolves throughout the day. It opens with a crisp burst of citrus and aldehydes, transitions into a heart of jasmine, vetiver, and pink pepper, and settles into a warm base of ginger, cedar, sandalwood, and amber. A journey worth taking. This stuff lasts, and it projects. While some dismiss Bleu as a mass-market creation, they miss the point - this is the original modern blue fragrance, the one that set the standard. Is it groundbreaking? No. But neither were The Rolling Stones. Compared to the EDT, the EDP leans deeper and darker, with a subtle marine-like nuance in the dry down. The scent exudes confidence and authority, making it perfect for professional settings - or anywhere you want to project dominance. If you’re not ready to own the room, wear something else. Bleu de Chanel: Blue, perfected.

I'm not a fan of their pricing but i must admit that this is a stand out classy scent .. i AM a begginer to scents and i've yet to smell around enough to say for sure .. but i can safely say .. this is likely my fav. Blue scent .. The EDT: is the citrus version of this DNA .. the freshy version, the i just got out the shower but i'm at an expensive hotel so when in rome i'll smell like it .. 😅 Eau de parfum: still captures the essence of the DNA but it's a more mature, warmer and calmer soapy, clean elegance .. Parfum: same DNA but a lot sweeter [don't know if its the pineapple] and i get an odd paint smell in the back that really deters me .. to be fair i smelled this off a strip at a store so i can't really properly assess it .. but i wasn't a big fan. All in all .. for the price i don't know if this line is worth it .. but it is definitely something special .. it's definitely been overhyped online .. but that doesn't mean it's not really good .. it has stood the test of time .. it paved the way for blue scents and it does what it does REALLY WELL. I think it's a classic .. the EDP being my favorite by a hairs breadth from the EDT being my second best .. i could do without the Parfum

I like the EDT most. The only issue of the new formulation for all of its versions is overpowering Patchouli which despite youtubers nonsense and nonexpert ideas, it should smell like mint and pleasant! It is not. The way perfumers execute them in the some perfumes, the smell of non-pleasant burnt vegetable. and it has happened here for beloved classic all year round Bleu de Chanel. I guess some people in social media are afraid to say something different that some clowns in YouTube therefore repeat their opinion. By the way, The original formula's top note was Melon which does not exist anymore. I did not like it either but like patchouli here the nausea effect by it goes away after few minutes. Still this is one the classiest formal occasion (also informal for fans of it) perfumes. I do not understand this strange expression as basic!? I guess this is another toxic effect of non-expert YouTubers. The phrase "basic" does not mean anything in the chemistry of perfumes, specifically about classic fragrances. Maybe dubs or supermarket ones like adidas, Fila and so on could be called basic, not classics like Bleu de Chanel, Terre de Hermes, Aramis, etc.

Many of the reviews here are negative towards BdC, saying that is smells generic, like deodorant, that it's boring, dull, synthetic etc... If you're someone that is seriously in to fragrances, who owns multiple niche bottles and sees fragrances as art then yes - this is incredibly generic. But here's the thing, I own hundreds of frags, niche and designer, some incredibly expensive and made from high quality ingredients but guess what... none of them get more compliments and positive attention from people around me than this, not even close, no Creeds, Amouages, Montales, Tom Fords, Frederic Malles in my collection get the crazy reactions that this does. So, if you wear fragrances to get more attention, if you're not serious about collecting frags, look no further than this. If you own high end niche bottles and are incredibly serious about fragrances then yep this is going to bore you. I can see it from both viewpoints, I love my niche frags and can appreciate them, some of them truly are art. But I'm still going to wear BdC a lot in public not necessarily for my own enjoyment, but because I know it will always be a success.

The negative reviews of Bleu De Chanel EDT are largely a result of "Group-think". If enough reviewers on Youtube say it's so, then it must be so. Bleu De Chanel EDT spawned an entire generation of "Blue" fragrances. It did not do so out of mediocre craftsmanship. This fragrance is singular. Despite the hordes of blue frags still being made today, each pathetic progeny is more heinous than the next. Bleu De Chanel EDT is so different from the rest of the blue fragrances, simply because each successive release added a new element in order to slightly distinguish itself. As a result, none of the later blue frags smell like BDC EDT. Invictus added too much aquatic sweetness, YSL Y EDP added too much fruitiness, Dylan Blue and others added too much shower gel, Sauvauge added too much of everything. Those are the fragrances that compose the "blue" hashtag. BDC EDT spawned the blue, but shares nothing in common with them, besides the name. BDC EDT is a refined, masculine, fresh smelling fragrance that harkens back to a timeless mens "cologne", while adding more modern notes and longevity.

That's the one! • There were other blue fragrances before BdC, but Chanel raised the bar substantially with this one. • This scent marked the beginning of a new era for the "Blue" lane, from "Before BdC" to "After BdC". • The same can be said about JPG's Le Mâle, which marked a transition in the aromatic fougères era of the 1990s. • I wore the Parfum after this one. IMO, it leans toward dressed-up "blue" versatility & elegance, but it's too intimate. • I skipped the EDP because it's honestly nondescript, and not as fresh & incensey as the EDT. • Thus, I always go back to BdC EDT as my go-to reliable BdC bottle, for its outstanding all-year versatility. • If you characterize this as a shower gel, you're repeating contrarian talking points used by influencers to drive clicks. • Lastly, forget about clones of the EDT (and Parfum). None got it right. Just pay up and get the OG. • IMHO, most flankers of SWY EDT and BdC EDT do not do them justice. Only a few are truly amazing.

The most summer/hot weather appropriate one from the entire Bleu de Chanel line! It’s nothing special or groundbreaking but it’s such a beautiful, easy to wear and appealing masculine perfume. It’s heavy on citruses, soft spices, mint and incense, but has a bit of white floral, patchouli, woods and clean musk. It’s a complex note breakdown that creates a beautifully balanced and blended juice. I think no matter what scent profile you would like, you’ll find something in Bleu de Chanel to like, since it’s composed around such a wide variety of notes and accords. I understand that many would not want to purchase this (or any Chanel perfume) because of its high price range. The longevity could be better for the price Chanel charges, but it is what it is... Chanel was never cheap!! Gorgeous, classic, elegant and fairly versatile. It’s one of my husband’s favourite and I love when he wears it. You can’t go wrong with a classic Chanel...

I own Bleu de Chanel EDT, and for me it’s the crispest one out of all—like instantly clean the moment it hits. Not just “fresh fragrance” clean, but proper just-showered, clear head kind of clean. That sharp citrus at the start? That’s what I like most. It wakes you up a bit. As it settles, it doesn’t suddenly turn heavy or sweet or anything. It just smooths out. Still clean, still airy, just with a bit of woody warmth underneath. Nothing complicated, nothing trying too hard. It just... sits right. The dry down is my favourite part though. It stays close, soft, slightly woody, a bit creamy but still fresh. That’s where I feel the most comfortable wearing it—like it blends into me instead of sitting on top. Not loud, not attention-seeking, but if someone’s close, they’ll catch it. Yeah, it’s common. But honestly, I don’t wear it to stand out. I wear it because it makes me feel clean, sharp, and sorted—even on days when I’m not 😅

This my favorite Chanel smell. Been my favorite long time, many years. People always complain say “too many people wear” or “it remind me of someone” or “it too generic” blah blah. But nobody really say it smell bad. Almost never. Because it not bad. This smell classic. Timeless. Better than all flanker they make after and people forget this one. Maybe it generic, okay. But Bleu de Chanel EDT walk so other fragrance can run, like PDM Percival, Prada Paradigme. People say “masterpiece” for everything now. Too much. But this one really masterpiece. Very simple. People saying “too generic” go back review niche perfume you always talk about. There reason you smell this everywhere. There reason this first cologne for many people. DNA crazy good. If you reading this, you smell this before for sure. It been around long time. But if you wear this, you smell very good. Very incredible.

I know, I know. Who writes a review of Bleu de Chanel 15 years after its launch? Well, hear me out: BdC still amazes me every single time I wear it, with the caveat that my skin runs hotter than normal so the musks tend to bloom a little differently. But guys... the drydown is a knockout! Incense, labdanum, sandalwood and nutmeg turn that sparking bitter-ish grapefruit top into an almost jammy-candied citrus in the drydown that just keeps on giving. Never gets old, never lets down, and more importantly, doesn't get discounted at Costco... IYKYK... @KJS88: Your "Khamrah" observation just killed me... 🤣😈👏

Sweet, I got a date! ;P (referencing the last post, haha!) Anyway... Over the past 10 years, I’ve done the fragrance journey, and I went in deep. Niche, luxury, vintage, artisan, one-time releases with the rarest ingredients from the likes of Areej le Dore and Ensar Oud, a carefully curated collection over 300+ bottles (since sold or used), thousands of samples, tens of thousands spent... And I find myself coming back full circle to the designer classics like BdC. I don’t care what the snobs think (I was once one), this is a pleasure to wear! Wear what you like when you like. :) This is good perfumery.

I've smelled and owned a lot of fragrances and BDC is just one of the best of all time in my opinion. It's blended super well, the scent is just the right amount of everything, it lasts long and projects well for an EDT, the bottle is clean and quality, and the scent at this point to me is almost comforting. It really does smell blue. Personally I can't remember the last time I smelled this in the wild. Maybe that's just a result of how I live my life? The point is this is far from overused in my circles. Initially I thought I was too good for BDC but I was fighting against a work of art and I lost.

This ones pricy but what you get is undeniably.. well, blue! This scent oozes quality, like it's been made with quality ingredients. I've had a sample of the EDP and I don't think you can go wrong with either. I've heard the EDT performs better though I've also heard the opposite. I found the EDP to be slightly smoother / soapier smelling on my skin. Note: The bottle is a fingerprint magnet though, so if you're someone who hates that.... keep that in mind. Due to the cost of this line I'd strongly suggest getting some samples first to see how it performs & smells on your skin. Definitely a classic.

I've spent 5 years looking for a better fresh citrus, blue-ish, woody amberwoody signature worthy fragrance than BDC Edt and I failed. After smelling literally thousands of fragrances around Europe, I couldn't find better. This has something about it. They way it is built ... Oh man. The way it develops... What a signature! It is a true signature. I also tried the Edp but ... No. The first creation is the King Blue to me 👑 I also love the Parfum but it is more suited for special occasions and more dressed up situations. I can't stop enjoying it and I will probably switch it as my signature scent.

It smells like the Bleu de Chanel EDP, although fresher. It smells just about identical on the dry-down, but you get more of that lovely aldehyd in the EdT. This is the more sporty Bleu, but it definetly works for office and evenings as well. This is smoother and more sophisticated than Dior Sauvage EdT. As with all of Chanel's men frangrances, it smells way, way better in the sillage. If you want to skip the whole fragrance collection nonsense and own one fragrance, this might seriously be it. You will offend no one and please a lot by wearing Bleu de Chanel EdT.

I love EDT versions because they are usually brighter and fresher and BDC EDT is no exception. A minimal three sprays filled the room with a fresh, uplifting scent. I clocked about 80 minutes until the heart kicked in and it still made its presence known. The floral and ginger are blended well. The base notes became apparent at the 2 hour mark and the three sprays projected with arms length for a total of 6 hours after which it turned into a skin scent which I was able to smell until I fell asleep. For an EDT, performance is well above average. 8.75/10

The original BDC has a special place in my heart. The scent profile always delivered so well in the office. It gets compliments and goes well during warmer seasons. It is also good in the fall. As it gets cold, it's great for wearing indoors, but not so effective outdoors in colder months. I still love it. It depends on where you get it, but I would recommend checking if Macy's has their VIP sale. In my opinion, that's where I would go. Otherwise, it's hard to tell who has an authentic line from BDC.

To me, it’s the "S&P 500" of men’s fragrances. A lot of people try to beat it, but very few actually do. It’s fresh, clean, and very well done. This is the kind of fragrance that works perfectly with a suit, whether it’s a wedding, a corporate meeting, or any formal setting. It’s professional, polished, and easy to wear. Sometimes, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Bleu de Chanel just works. It may not be the most exciting or daring fragrance, but it’s reliable, classy, and always appropriate.

I just tried this for the first time, yesterday (I know, I know. Crazy, right?) I so wanted to not like this. Not cheap, too popular and extremely.overworn. Well...that's because it actually really is that good. It simply not over hyped because the hype is real. I tried this version (EDT), because based on the notes it seemed like the best choice for me. It's a beautiful blue, with a slight chemical incense, but without any of the powder I don't really like. This is definitely a keeper for me.

My Brazilian Review Generic? I Don't think so and i don't care anyway.. It's a great scent, gives me a good dose of confidence, women allways tend to enjoy this one... And they allways make sure to compliment me. * Edit: And they get muuuuuch more nice and friendly to you. (go figure) Fresh, but present. Just the right scent for everything. Versatile enough! Performs decently. Better than average. Gets the job done! 9,5/10.

Modern masterpiece. People say it's common. It's less common than sauvage. It's certainly less common than stinky people. Don't let the naysayers stop you from smelling like the best person you'll meet. It's versatile, classy, it's a no brainer. 1) I like it, 2) people like it 3) those of you who don't like it, I bet your mum does. Super good fragrance, unfortunately Chanel perfumes just don't perform that well. I've had an Allure Homme Sport eau de extreme from Chanel and the story is the same as with Bleu de Chanel - smells absolutely wonderful, but 12 sprays on both clothing and skin after 30 minutes no one can smell it even if they're standing only 15cm away. If you want people to smell this you'll burn through it rapidly.

Ya, the performance is trash, and kinda always has been, but this is the best and classiest "blue" fragrance there has ever been. Y is childishly sweet, Dior screams, "look at me, bro!", and though Dylan Blue is respectable for grown ups, it will never and can never, hold a candle to the OG BDC. Sure, you'll get better performance from BDC flankers, but no blue scent can match the EDT!

This is the greatest fragrance of all time. Even though I don't use it anymore (because I prefer not smelling generic), whenever I have a friend who asks me what fragrance to get, this is always the first one I mention. It's just pure bliss. Classy yet modern. Fresh yet sophisticated. Beautiful yet handsome. It's the best. FYI EDP was too ambery and powdery for me. EDT is perfect.

I have a lot of sentimental value for this smell since it's my boyfriend's signature scent. I've always enjoyed how fresh it smelled, but I could never quite put my finger on what I was smelling. It's very chemicall-y. It says here that it's very citrusy which makes sense as to why I like it, I lovee citrus scents.

Effortlessly delicious, and a true confidence booster. When you smell fresh, you feel fresh. You could unironically wear this year round as a daily-driver and have zero complaints, and I don't think you'd ever get bored of it either. Sure it may be mass-appealing and incredibly mainstream - but it's fucking good.

Masterpiece. and I definitely, in my opinion, think that this is the best Bleu de chanel. Better than the EDP and Parfum. I wore this back in high school, it's become nostalgic, and I love it. and other people loved it on me too. People may call it basic, but It's become basic for a reason- it's really fkn good.

absolute class, crisp and so attractive. smells so fresh and seductive at the same time. i could seriously get used to this forever, it's like it does the basics just right don't even gotta try nothing else. definitely a night time perfume, wouldn't overdo it though - something to be used occasionally for sure.

Can’t remember how many bottles of this one I have bought during my teenage years. This one is a classic blue scent. Simple but does the job: smelling fresh and clean. It won’t fill a room nor will you make a statement with this one, but sometimes that’s all you need.

Incredible abstract scent, kind of fresh, kind of spicy kind of dark, sometimes you will feel wet nature smell. If only it lasted longer, best I got was 2 hours good projection and then 1 hour close projection, then skin scent. Still worth it, plus beautiful bottle

Very bizarre how much fresher this is than the EDP EDP is like a nondescript one dimensional shower gel soup, EDT is more complex and more fresh, notes stand out from one another, just like with the parfum Got all 3 from Chanels website over the years

I loved this perfume but one of my support workers made me dislike wearing it because one day I wore it and he asked me about it, made me look up the name, the price, where he could buy it and worst of all I had to take him to where he could buy it

This is the OG of blue "freshie" fragrances. You can wear this in the office, or a night out, it's that versatile. I get more compliments on this than almost any of the other colognes I wear. The scent is sophisticated, masculine and timeless.

Forget about dupes, nothing I've tried has captured this masterpiece. It's the perfect fresh, blue, airy, clean, masculine fragrance and will never get old to me no matter how many fragrances I've picked up since buying it. Score: 5/5

The G.O.A.T. One of the most complimented perfumes in my collection. Very versatile. Can be worn on any occasion at any time of the day. Certified compliment getter. High quality and nuclear performance. Modern perfumery masterpiece.

Still my Go To fragrance but the newer batches are totally different from the older batches. The old batch was unique and the new one is just another blue fragrance. Still you can’t go wrong with it. Crowd pleaser in a bottle 👍.

Amazing scent. Cannot go wrong with it if you want to be fresh. For me EDP/Parfum have some weird note that make it less cool, some weird sweetness that goes into a weird creamy smell. Parfum feels like a dialed up EDP.

King of the Blues. The OG. Lovely fresh citrus and slight ginger with the perfect amount of spice and incense to it combined with a masculine sexy woody and musky drydown. I haven’t tried the EDP, but this one is GREAT!

I didn't want to like BDC because of how popular it was, but against all odds I really like it. Fresh, clean and modern, while still having a lot of depth with musky tones. I feel it gets better the more you smell it.
