Gabrielle Chanel Hair Mist

The opening is nondescript fruity-floral. Lighter and less floral than the eau de parfum. Spray is a very gentle mist, well-dispersed. Indeed notes of grapefruit and black currant are detectable, and a floral heart of tuberose. The bottle is a little gem, too. It is great for people, who find parfums too strong.

Enjoyed this one when is was first launched light and airy pretty scent, gentle and can wear through spring summer months just easy and light sits really well still have a bottle nearly finishing might just get another for the coming of spring ;))

I received this as a gift and after trying it once (spraying it over my hair) but being relatively unimpressed, I wondered how this could actually be Chanel. I have long hair and kept smelling my hair throughout the day to see how the fragrance lasted, but I could barely smell it. HOWEVER, everything changed when recently I have had to attend some very early morning meetings where it feels "overdressed" or inappropriate to wear anything with a distinct perfume. I found myself reaching for this as a compromise and discovered, to my surprise, that I really enjoyed it. It's perfume without being perfume, which doesn't make much sense, I know. It's just enough scent to be pretty, fresh, delicate and classy without screaming "I'm wearing perfume." I enjoy wearing this now! For me, the secret is that you have to wear it when you only want a hint of scent. No one is ever going to ask you what you're wearing when you wear this, but you will radiate a typical Chanel prettiness and feel so polished. If I had bought this for myself I might have expected more for its price tag, since it is essentially something that mostly goes unnoticed, but as a gift it is a hair mist luxury that I am very grateful for. It is making my painfully early morning meetings more bearable and I look forward to spraying it on in the morning!

It's a light perfume, feels good

Bought this at a Chanel Christmas event and was floored by the scent, even more so when I sprayed this version into my hair and realised how nice it was as a hair mist. I think it does really well as a hair mist because the scent lasts longer and leaves more of a trail this way, every time I put it on I smell my hair throughout the day and it always smells somewhat different, the residual scent it leaves in my hair is so deep and woody with a slight pear smell. its more similar smelling to the original Chanel Gabrielle than the Gabrielle Intense to me but I love it either way, it's so classy and confident.

I love using hair mist especially if I am going out. I will definitely add this one to my collection in 2020
