Les Exclusifs de Chanel 1932 Parfum

Beautiful, beautiful. Another love from Chanel in the parfum line. Chanel 1932 parfum opens with lovely sparkling aldehydes and soft jasmine. It makes me swoon when I put it on, it's so gorgeous. Then orris root comes in with a cool dry step, followed by softer lilac. The rose and vanilla sneak in as well, but they blend in quietly. About a half hour to an hour later the fragrance takes a turn towards a very slightly animalic, smells like real skin only better, scent with coumarin, stronger vetiver and a soupcon of incense entering and taking over the party for about a half hour. Then all the lovely notes mesh and stay on the skin with the lilac, orris and jasmine becoming drier for the next 3 or 4 hours. It never goes to a dusty powder, though, which is good. After 4 hours I can no longer smell 1932 on my skin, which is sad, but if you put it on clothing it does last longer on fabrics. I think the 1932 parfum edition is 100% better than the 1932 EDT edition, but unfortunately it suffers from the fate of all the new Chanels, it doesn't last. I am going to layer the 1932 parfum with the Chanel body cream that goes with the Exclusifs line and that should take care of the longevity problem.

I tell you again ... I d called "COCO COLOGNE" ... in the Coco classique style, but in a light, volatile, sparkling and littly fresh and bit spicy way ... but Coco finally ... Amazing fragance!

Nostalgic feeling about this... Sits close to the skin, but it's really charming ...a trail of the passing epoch of good perfumery!
