Born Dreamer

This is my bedtime scent, it is the most coziest and warm fragrance I've ever smelt. Good dreams guaranteed! It's gone so far as to make me sleepy whenever I spray it, ha ha, so I only spray in the evening. It opens a bit harsh for the first 5 seconds with an alcoholic note mixed with green pear and sugar. I remember when I first smelt it, I was not familiar that fragrances need to rest especially if they have traveled in cold weather, so I was met with a not so pleasant smell - something metallic - and I was so sad, about to throw it out, thankfully I did not. (I want to share in case anyone else experiences this situation and comes here for guidance) Already on the next day it changed completely and became one of my favorite fragrances since. The dry-down is especially pleasant! That sweet and savory powdery musk! I think this is what clouds in heaven smell like. Regarding similarity to "Cloud" and "God is a woman", I guess you can group them together but they are different, I own all 3 of them so I am speaking from my experience when I say "Cloud" is much sweeter and fluffier - better for daytime wear and sweater-weather but "God is a woman" is more boozy and juicy - perfect for date-nights.

My signature scent! I think I've been wearing this ever since it came out, and ever since I've gotten compliments about how it's unique and smelling something similar reminds them of me. I loveee this fragrance, so sad it's getting discontinued (I think?). In my experience, it's a long lasting eau de toilette that lasts for 8-16 hours - if I'm lucky. The bottle is also very durable! I've had it in school bags which have been thrown around, and it's even fallen down the stairs and isn't shattered. The smell is a fruity musk, which kind of reminds me of winter going over into spring, probably because of the mix of pear and orange as top notes. If you ask me, everyone should snatch it up while they can, because for the price you pay it's a beautiful staple.

Note: I’m still in the test phase for this so I’ll update this as I go. On me in moderate weather this is a soft snuggly pear-jasmine musk which makes unique for my collection and very easily wearable! this starts out with the fruity ness of pear and a hint (very minimal) of citrus. The sugar creeps through quickly but doesn’t go syrupy and softens the jasmine. If you normally have problems with white florals being screechy or soapy this is a jasmine scent that does not do that at all. I don’t get wood in the dry down but I do get the musk, cashmere, and a bit of amber (this part is very minimal on me). Overall this is good anytime of day and seems to fit moderate spring and fall weather best, though it seems like it should handle heat decently.

It's been a long time since I've blind bought a "cheapie" from Marshall's that has worked out so well. I was beyond happy when this turned out to be a very lovely sweet pear with warm, cozy musky undertones. I enjoy a pear note in fragrances, and I have tried some of these that are said to be similar and with the exception of BR 540 and BBW In the Stars which both smell terrible on me, I really like the rest of them, but this is different from them as well. It's much fluffier, it has a more tender quality, less juicy, the texture is more soft and fuzzy. It's truly delightful, I love this little fragrance, and for the price it's one of my best easy reach bargains of the year so far.

Like Cloud, like a less expensive BR, very light and even a bit of sweetness akin to Burberry Her EDT not EDP. Just like all of those perfumes (except BH EDT), it’s the ambroxan that has the staying power, so they all smell the same at dry down. I have a love hate relationship with ambroxan. It’s nice but like pooey too. I LOVE it in Afnan Mystique Bouquet but in BR dupes it always feels a bit cheaper. Nonetheless, I got this perfume for £12 including two travel bottles too, which is insanely cheap. It’s also a really nice work perfume and I reckon I’ll buy a few of my friends a bottle too because it’ll be a universally loved perfume. Perfect for spring and day time.
