Born Dreamer

This is my bedtime scent, it is the most coziest and warm fragrance I've ever smelt. Good dreams guaranteed! It's gone so far as to make me sleepy whenever I spray it, ha ha, so I only spray in the evening. It opens a bit harsh for the first 5 seconds with an alcoholic note mixed with green pear and sugar. I remember when I first smelt it, I was not familiar that fragrances need to rest especially if they have traveled in cold weather, so I was met with a not so pleasant smell - something metallic - and I was so sad, about to throw it out, thankfully I did not. (I want to share in case anyone else experiences this situation and comes here for guidance) Already on the next day it changed completely and became one of my favorite fragrances since. The dry-down is especially pleasant! That sweet and savory powdery musk! I think this is what clouds in heaven smell like. Regarding similarity to "Cloud" and "God is a woman", I guess you can group them together but they are different, I own all 3 of them so I am speaking from my experience when I say "Cloud" is much sweeter and fluffier - better for daytime wear and sweater-weather but "God is a woman" is more boozy and juicy - perfect for date-nights.

My signature scent! I think I've been wearing this ever since it came out, and ever since I've gotten compliments about how it's unique and smelling something similar reminds them of me. I loveee this fragrance, so sad it's getting discontinued (I think?). In my experience, it's a long lasting eau de toilette that lasts for 8-16 hours - if I'm lucky. The bottle is also very durable! I've had it in school bags which have been thrown around, and it's even fallen down the stairs and isn't shattered. The smell is a fruity musk, which kind of reminds me of winter going over into spring, probably because of the mix of pear and orange as top notes. If you ask me, everyone should snatch it up while they can, because for the price you pay it's a beautiful staple.

Note: I’m still in the test phase for this so I’ll update this as I go. On me in moderate weather this is a soft snuggly pear-jasmine musk which makes unique for my collection and very easily wearable! this starts out with the fruity ness of pear and a hint (very minimal) of citrus. The sugar creeps through quickly but doesn’t go syrupy and softens the jasmine. If you normally have problems with white florals being screechy or soapy this is a jasmine scent that does not do that at all. I don’t get wood in the dry down but I do get the musk, cashmere, and a bit of amber (this part is very minimal on me). Overall this is good anytime of day and seems to fit moderate spring and fall weather best, though it seems like it should handle heat decently.

It's been a long time since I've blind bought a "cheapie" from Marshall's that has worked out so well. I was beyond happy when this turned out to be a very lovely sweet pear with warm, cozy musky undertones. I enjoy a pear note in fragrances, and I have tried some of these that are said to be similar and with the exception of BR 540 and BBW In the Stars which both smell terrible on me, I really like the rest of them, but this is different from them as well. It's much fluffier, it has a more tender quality, less juicy, the texture is more soft and fuzzy. It's truly delightful, I love this little fragrance, and for the price it's one of my best easy reach bargains of the year so far.

Like Cloud, like a less expensive BR, very light and even a bit of sweetness akin to Burberry Her EDT not EDP. Just like all of those perfumes (except BH EDT), it’s the ambroxan that has the staying power, so they all smell the same at dry down. I have a love hate relationship with ambroxan. It’s nice but like pooey too. I LOVE it in Afnan Mystique Bouquet but in BR dupes it always feels a bit cheaper. Nonetheless, I got this perfume for £12 including two travel bottles too, which is insanely cheap. It’s also a really nice work perfume and I reckon I’ll buy a few of my friends a bottle too because it’ll be a universally loved perfume. Perfect for spring and day time.

Immediately it’s pear. Juicy pear; and smells incredibly similar to GIAW by ariana grande. Blind bought this, and very happy! It’s a nice simple bottle too, and fits in a bag with minimal space taken to be honest. As others have said, it is definitely very GIAW but with Cloud, yet im not getting cloud personally. It’s fresh, not so sure on musky, as I haven’t really experienced musky perfumes yet. Easy to pick up and definitely inoffensive, like walking out of a shower and you could put it on. Again, lasts quite a long time for me personally, and people around me loved it! Especially my mum, surprisingly. A lovely perfume though, especially for its cheap price.

So I finally bought Born Dreamer, now this is amazing, yes it's similar to other perfumes, but this right here is everything I want and the price is right, I just wish this was an EDP instead of an EDT, and offered in 100ml as well, I know there is the refillable. I really adore the opening of this perfume with the Juicy pear, I wish it stayed around longer. I actually like this more than Cloud, but this can't replace my love for In The Stars. I love Born Dreamer regardless and because of that I will wear these more than the 3 perfumes these are similar to, and the last one this is similar to is Tease Creme Cloud.

This is honestly a nice twist to Cloud & God is a Woman. I love Cloud- but I'm not a huge fan of the beginning (plastic smell) but the dry down is pure whipped cream. I dislike God Is A Woman bc it's too sharp and sour in the beginning (I hate sour scents) This is a happy medium of the two blended together imo I still have to test it on my skin fully. I found it at Marshall's for $17 and honestly would not pay no more than that. I seen it was online for $30+ so I figured I'd buy it while I could for such a low price. Overall it's a nice scent and I'm pleasantly surprised!

The ambroxin and musk in this scent almost gives it an aquatic pear feeling. The initial spray can be off-putting as the musk comes across very strong in the opening. Nothing I will repurchase but definitely a good scent for the affordable price. Update: Likely just not for my nose I got compliments from a coworker while wearing it and asked by my guy friends why I don't wear this one all the time. If you like colder musk scents this one would definitely fall into that category.

Better perfume than God is a woman. Pear here is sweet and juicy and present from the beginning to the end. The other notes creates clean and attractive feeling. This is very feminine and simple modern scent but it still has cool girl vibe. That simplicity makes that perfume even more cute and wearable. It’s also great scent for layering. I like that the bottle is refillable and that looks cute without trying too hard. Great job Charli !

i didn’t like this fragrance at first but i went to ulta and smelled it again and fell in love!! for being an edt it performs pretty good and lasts a long time on clothing. $48 for 1.7 oz isn’t bad so overspraying isn’t a big deal (and i believe the refill bottle is around $35?) i don’t smell any orange but the pear, sugar, and musks are well blended. it’s a very cozy scent! someone said this is like pink sugar and cloud and i’d agree!!

it is nice and i like it and i would wear it. not much else to say though lol edit smelled this on my clothes the next day and... i really liked it! almost smelled a little caramel-y but i'm sure it's the sugar and cashmere woods doing that. i've been kind of wanting a musky but sweet and light pear scent and this might actually hit the mark edit may 2023: so yummy. still love. i think the pear is really photorealistic and juicy

i've had this for a few months and i am extremely impressed with it! even though it's just an edt, i can smell it on my skin and clothes for hours. even my high end perfumes don't project as much as this! it's a juicy pear scent that isn't too sweet, despite having straight up sugar in the notes. if you're into musky scents and want something cheap but unique, this one is great. and the packaging is adorable!!

I’ve been wanting a perfume that smells like the Viori Hidden Waterfalls shampoo bar and this scent is it! I enjoy the pear note it is juicy and fresh and the sweet musk in the dry down is exactly like the shampoos. I found it pretty cheap at Marshall’s so I definitely got lucky. The smell is juicy, fresh, and sweet, with a slight woodiness to it. I will be enjoying this for a good while.

Surprisingly a big love for me, it's sweet and fresh and smells like watermelon bubblegum mixed with AG Cloud and a juicy pear top note. Gorgeous. It's being discontinued unfortunately so grab it (and a refill while you're at it if you can) while you can because it's perfection for spring. Keep your eye out @ TJ Maxx for it tho, don't pay Ulta prices, unless it's on significant sale.

Does anyone else not smell the jasmine very well? I guess you would say it’s well blended then. It’s a cute fresh and sweet fragrance. It’s enjoyable but it’s almost too musky on the dry down for my liking. Almost smells like Barbie dolls and shampoo. I definitely will repurchase a refill after I'm done this bottle. I wore this to pick strawberries this summer.

I love this so so much I can’t believe it’s discontinued just when I found my signature scent. to me the only similarities with god is a woman & cloud is the heavy ambroxan because the pear notes are not comparable of any Ariana Grande perfumes. The pear note 🍐 is juicy and crisp. I don’t get the hate, she is a unique effervescent pick me up perfume!

Guilty pleasure ngl. Sweet, fruity, musky blast up top before it dries down to a softer, clean musky, floral scent. It does have that synthetic celebrity perfume aspect to it, but its easily bearable compared to others in this category. Overall pleasant fragrance to smell and wear for most occasions and a wide audience for a decent price.

Amazing!!! After spraying it at 1st and wearing it on 3 separate occasions it just smelt like cloud, but weaker. After letting this sit for about a year, it's a love. I get sweet strawberry with a hit of Baccarat or Cloud. Masterpiece. Note: You may need to let this one sit (Macerate). I will pair this with eos strawberry next wear.

Perfect sugary jasmine for everyday wear! 🤍 Deliciously musky without smelling too skinlike. Not too juvinile either, unlike Cloud for some noses. The orange zest note is sooo beautiful in this and ties the scent together perfectly! 🍊 One of the best influencer/celebrity fragrances out there. The bottle is so cute aswell! 🫶🏻

I ADORE IT. Its pure. white. clean. sugar. Just white sugar and that’s it. No more words needed, it’s unique and one of my favourite perfume. The bottle is amazing. Edit: after I worn it a few times I can perceive it a bit differently.. more like slices of pear coated with white, crisp sugar. I find it a bit unbalanced

I blind bought this after quite a few people said it reminded them of GIAW and also Cloud! I really love it! It literally is 70% GIAW 30% cloud. It's so pretty and lasts quite well which is perfect cos I found that GIAW lasted like 5 mins on me haha. I recommend it if you like GIAW/Cloud or anything with pear!

You had me at pear, sugar, & ambroxan! This lasted longer than I expected for a celebrity scent. It's young & trendy but beautiful & slightly addictive at the same time. Similar to others on the market, but still worth a try. I think it can easily be layered with other fragrances as well.

I love the fresh fruity opening of the pear and then it settles into a sweet smell to then a musky smell. I was skeptical about the sugar smell since I'm not the biggest fan of anything smelling sickly sweet or too gourmand but this very fresh yet sweet smell, very youthful.

It is so good and likeable. It smells like a baby doll in a way. The fragrance is a skin-scent but I smelled a cloud of it after I sprayed it. Definitely a safe blind buy to gift to your teenage daughter 🙂

I really like this perfume its a skin scent, I think it's great during the day.Similar to god is a women by AG. overall if you like a feminine, skin scent, and with a pear smell you will like this one.

I really love this perfume. It reminds me of God is a woman by Ariana Grande or Liis Studied. But boy mine went bad so quick! I think I owned it about six months and then it turned.

I’m someone who doesn’t think Cloud smells anything like BR-540. And yet - this perfume reminds me of both of them. But it’s toned-down, softer, musky. I absolutely love this.

hi, this is my all time fave. but i accidentally found a dupe in a room spray, it’s called rhubarb and sweet cream by boho & glow. almost exactly the same.

I love this so much. Picked it up at marshals for $14.99 not expecting much but it's actually really nice. It's cozy & musky. Very pretty.

Smells exactly like Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla

A really soft and sweet fragrance that reminds me of Ariana Grande's Cloud and God Is A Woman. I think that it is a really simple fragrance that also is simple to describe, but that doesn't mean that it is boring. It's a juicy and sweet Anjou Pear surrounded by the softness of the different variations of Musk and the Jasmine, made sweeter with the Sugar note and brighter with the Orange. Then you have a nice base of Ambroxan and Cedar, making it a tad more intense, but doesn't change the sweet, soft and subtle roots that this fragrance has. It has a slight sillage but it doesn't project far, it sits close to the skin and clothes, can last up to 3 hours but I never went further than that. And for me, it concludes that this fragrance can be a really easy to wear signature scent if you rather wear something discreet and sweet, or a really nice fragrance for the warmer months. It has that versatility in my opinion. The design is really spot on with this opaque glass and the little star, it's casual and cute, lovely and sweet, reflects the vibe perfectly. The atomizer isn't really spraying far, it kinda mists the scent, so you have to do multiple sprays if you want this fragrance to be a bit more noticeable. So to be more precise on my point of view concerning this perfume, it is lovely and I'm glad I got my hands on Born Dreamer and Born Dreamer Happy Place while visiting a flea market. I will reach towards it when the weather is going to be warmer in France and will wear it if I still want to smell sweet in summer without causing intense headaches with other of my more intense and sweeter perfumes. I am a huge Pear fan, could consume and buy (and already does) every thing that includes Pear within the taste or design, so this fragrance adds itself to my Pear perfumes collection, and I love that this Pear is softer and not as extremely sweet or juicy as in my other scents. This is a pointed 7/10 just wished it lasted longer and that the atomizer would diffuse more perfume onto the skin.

This scent really surprised me! It's so pleasant! I am another one who found this delight at TJ Maxx for $16.99 and figured I would grab it since it's discontinued, and I had heard nice things about it. This is such a sweet, crisp, fresh, fruity fragrance that is just so lovely with every breath. The pear, sugar, and Jasmine are blended together in the most perfect way, so that no one note overpowers the others; all the notes in this fragrance work together in harmony. The dry down is a sweet, pleasant white musk, and it's the good kind of sweet better-than-skin musk. I honestly don't know how I would classify this scent; it's fresh, it's floral, but it's also sweet and fruity, as well as powdery musky. Regardless, I am really enjoying it and will have to stock up since it's no longer being made! My husband said he could smell the perfume as soon as I sprayed myself, and he was about 8-10 feet away at the time. I will have to do an update on the longevity as this is my first time wearing it on my skin. **Update** Perfume lasted for about 5-6 hours on my skin and became a close skin scent. Really great if you don't want to commit to a super strong fragrance all day and you just want to smell fresh and good. I enjoy it so much that I went to TJ Maxx and bought another bottle as a backup since I know this fragrance is discontinued (which is a shame!).

I think this perfume is adorable. Quite literally *cute*. "Anjou pear"...who knows? But if it's a fruit note, it's a soft note. Like warm, fuzzy, washed out fruits (which might sound weird, or gross, but I mean this is a positive way). It bears similarities with Cloud, but if Cloud is 1/2 of BR540, this is 1/4 of it (if that). It shares that sweet, airy *lift* though. This has more of the effect Moonlight from Ariana Grande does though, it's pillowy and bed-time-y. This absolutely, absolutely would pass as an A.G fragrance by every measure. If I was blindfolded, I'd immediately guess it was something from her line. A very Gen-Z, sweet, gently musky, molecular fragrance. I'm surprised that this isn't more popular with younger women or teens. It has an exceptionally approachable aura about it, and it's sweet, but not overly simple. The musk is compelling.

a sweet musky pear! this fragrance surprised me a little. with young celebrity perfumes its usually a hit or a miss, and i think this was a (soft) hit. it feels like it was made for her audience (which is young preteens/teens) but can definitely be worn outside of that. its projection is pretty poor, but its longevity gets a surprising 5hrs on my skin, a very easy reach for me going to work. the only complaint i have is the price point, as it is around 50$ originally. i was able to pick it up at marshals for 16$ which i think is a more fair price for what it is. i likely wouldn't repurchase unless i can find it discounted. id instead opt for a pear body spray from VS or BBW. but all in all im pleasantly surprised.

I bought it from Ulta during a sale for about $25 when it was still widely available. Now you can find it for around $17 at various discount stores (TJ Maxx/Marshalls/etc). I think this is a clean, sweet, and inoffensive scent. The fruity notes really set it apart from other fragrances targeted towards young girls like Cloud. If I just want to smell good but not like anything in particular I will spray this on my skin. I think it would be a good work fragrance and is great for the price. One thing I do not like about this is that it seems to last forever if I spray it on my clothes, to the point of becoming headache-inducing. Something to keep in mind if you want to try this, lol

It smelled like pure candy on my skin! Like a refreshing pear juice made with super sweet sugarcane. It actually somewhat reminded me of Victoria's Secret Tease if you replaced the gardenia note with the jasmine here. I looove this. The only downside is the longevity is awful, but seeing as it's an affordable EDT, I feel less guilty about over-spraying. It's giving me "clean girl" aesthetic vibes, at home in a soft lounge-wear set, while getting cozy in her bedroom adorned with colorful fairy lights getting ready to play a couple hours of Animal Crossing (or any other relaxing game of choice). She's sweet, a bit of a daydreamer, and really values her self-care time.

Upon application, orangey sugar. The top notes are juicy and sweet. Alluring. I can see the comparison with some Ariana Grande perfumes. While I don't enjoy G-d Is A Woman or Cloud, I really like Born Dreamer. The fruity opening disappears within 40 minutes. I am not as big of a fan of the musky ambroxan base. The musk is a little too uncomplicated, and the ambroxan feels rough without the fruity top notes to round it out. For that reason, I would spray it lightly. It may be useful as a base to layer perfumes over. The frosted bottle is super cute!

i got this for £4 from home bargains and i definitely don't regret it. it lasts for a day or two on my clothes sometimes. it also smells a bit synthetic, but it's a sweet and refreshing scent nevertheless. i smell pear and musk from this for the most part. it's my current daily driver and i have finished half of the bottle. i think this is a good "clean girl" scent (if that's still a thing) overall, i think this is quite a good scent, especially for the price (i also think the design of the bottle is quite cute lol) i give it an 8/10 :)

I got two little travel sizes of this for like $6.99 each at TJ Maxx. The scent profile is done to death, but it’s such a dumb reach for summer I’m not mad about it. In The Stars from B&BW is Born Dreamer’s twin sister. It’s trying, like many others, to be a Baccarat copycat. It’s not spot-on obviously, but if you have BR540 and you don’t want to put a dent in your expensive bottle but still want that vibe, this is great. Quite youthful, fruity, and musky. Juicy and sugary. Great for summer and hot weather. Simple and effective. 6/10

It’s very close to Ariana Grande Cloud to me which I was interested in, but I found this at Marshall’s for 14$ and I think it’s a great value, it’s sweet and musky just like cloud. I am not going to buy cloud anymore because this smells very similar to me and it’s fantastic. I’m glad I grabbed it while I saw it. I think it’s a safe inoffensive scent (as someone sensitive to certain scents). I’m happy I got the scent that I wanted for such a good deal!

Love this perfume! It’s very warm musky without smelling animalic, sweet but not too sugary sickly sweet, and I don’t smell any floral notes, which I love about this one. It’s not powdery but has some citrus bright sweetness that I really love. Didn’t last long imo so I feel like I need to keep applying it every hour or so, but sits very close to home/low spillage. A very personal scene, I mix it with Versace purple diamond and it’s a perfect match!

Very light. I'm not getting much of thr AG cloud vibe out of the juice because it is not lactonic at all. The perfume itself is very Anjou pear and sugar predominant - it reminds me of one of the Avon 'Ice series' (Ice Sheer). It is overall very fresh and inoffensive. I purchased a refill bottle 75ml for $9.99. Longevity and projection are both on the weak side. Overall it is a pleasant summer perfume, suitable for school-aged folks. 6.5/10

Blind bought the travel size for 10 dollars at ulta. It’s surprisingly better than I thought it would be, the pear note is juicy and noticeable and the dry down is cozy and sweet. Kinda like a combo of cloud with GIAW, which individually I wasn’t wowed by but I think that those prominent notes together make a good combo. Seems like a good fit for warmer weather, probably a safe blind buy as well unless you’re sensitive to ambroxan.

Got this for $10 at Marshalls (like all my perfumes) and OH MY LORD I really enjoy it!! It has such a warm cuddly scent once it dries down and when you first spray it, it smells like pear candy! My only negative is there's a weird area where it smells a little off but its only for like a minute after the top notes come out, also the top notes don't last super long... But overall 7.75/10!

I was able to find this at Marshall’s for $17! I can see the similarities between Cloud and God is a woman, but I wouldn’t say it’s the exact same. To me, this smells very very similar to In the Stars from bath and body works! Lasts maybe a couple hours at most. It’s a very girly and inoffensive scent IMO. Not my favorite, but for the price I paid for it I can’t be upset

LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE IT! If baccarat rouge had a younger sister and was meant for teenagers it would be born dreamer. It resembles baccarat a lot in the opening however it gets sweeter in the dry down. It smells soooo nice and fresh! I don’t think anyone would dislike it. it’s also a great compliment getter
