Joyphoria

I do have a soft spot for tuberose, coconut, ylang ylang and vanilla. A great sweet, creamy, warm, lush white floral plus tropical floral scent always gets me. And I definitely adore Joyphoria. It’s a wonderful white floral forward perfume with sweet vanilla, creamy ylang ylang, delicious coconut water and fresh, green petit grain/neroli flower. Plus a heady jasmine and some soft touches of powderiness from cashmeran. It’s gorgeous and totally to my surprise, because it’s a floral scent, seems to perform better on my skin than Cosmic Power. I feel very tempted to get a bottle of this even though I just purchased a week ago something very expensive but similar to this scent profile. But I am waiting for a good sale for sure, if I decide to get a full size bottle! This is your classic tropical/white floral with a beautiful powdery, musky, warm vanilla base. Similar to some extent to Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, which I already have, but that smells more luxurious and elevated than CT’s Joyphoria. Similar to Sol de Janeiro’s Rio Radiance but that’s more sweet on me. More similar from my experience to Alien Goddess range, especially the original Goddess, but with a green, slightly bitter twist added by neroli and petit grain combo. Somewhere in the middle of all mentioned above, between all these classic summertime scents but with some small spins to smell a bit different. Perfect summer holidays or beach scent. To sum it up, from the four ones I’ve tested, Joyphoria is hands down the best of Charlotte Tilbury’s perfumes!

Oh damn. I was mindlessly wandering around Sephora spraying everything in sight and I came across this one. The opening was super floral and summery- i said okay, meh, not bad but not amazing. But then i got home and oh my gosh, the drydown. Sexy, sexy, sexy. This reminds me of an evolved version of Jean Paul Gautier- the classic one from years ago that they used to sell as an “aphrodisiac” scent. It’s warm jasmine, creamy ylang ylang, seductive vanilla beautifully blended and sealed with the kiss of a tuberose. I can see the comparisons to Soleil Blanc / Hibiscus Palm only in concept - yes this is tropical, but to me this is what you wear on a date night in warm summer heat whereas SB/HP are daytime summer fragrances. It also reminds me a bit of the discontinued TF Orchid Soleil. A sexy, seductive fragrance. Leans very feminine.

If you hesitate to buy TF Soleil Blanc because of the price/longevity, and you are searching for a similar vibe, search no more. This parfum is so lovely for the summer, energetic, dynamic, long lasting. I find it a lot more vibrant than Soleil Blanc. I bought the 10 ml version to dip my toe in it, and I enjoy it a lot! When I am sick of the cold weather I wear it in the winter as well, it's a great mood booster/pick me up. Sometimes I like to play blind sniffing with my fiance, where I show him a sniff and ask him if he thinks it's niche or designer and he always guesses niche with this one. For me I always guess designer but I think it doesn't really matter, it is lovely as it is. Great balance of price and quality as well. When it will be out I will buy the full size.

Very uplifting :) I got a 10ml travel size I feel like this is a perfect mass apealing scent that is not a gourmand. Floral that even a gen Z that hates florals could love and easely wear. I love ylang-ylang in this, tuberose, jasmine, and the sweetness. It’s a mood boosting fragrance for me and I was craving it during a stressfull and hot weak during my work trip. Anytime I smelled it I felt joy, so I think that the marketing is right on this one, and I feel like marketing is rearelly appropriate when it comes to perfume and it’s notes and overall vibe. It’s funny to me how some dislike it because it’s too dated/mature/retro, and others because it’s to young/carefree/simple-sweet.

My daughter got me this for mother's day. When I saw the parfum collection of CT first a week before mother's day I of course checked the bottles. She asked me which ones I liked from the collection. Insisted couple of times... I thought she was trying to convince me to purchase for her. I should have known better. I said that I liked the red, pink and the gold(rosegold) bottles. And then she presents Joyphoria travel size bottle at Mother's day. It is a cozy warm scent. I love tuberose and she knows. Cashmere is definitely there. Scent is much better after it lasts a short time after you spray.

This fragrance is wonderful. The dry down features a prominent jasmine note that stands out beautifully. Imagine yourself on a breezy summer's day, sitting beneath a fragrant jasmine tree—that's the essence of this scent. I don't detect many of the other listed notes, but if you love jasmine fragrances, you might really enjoy this one.

Sweet and delightfully pleasant white flowers, deliciously spiced with honeyed amber. The overall effect is joyful and enveloping, reminiscent of a golden ray of sunshine. In my opinion, the longevity and sillage are between More Sex and Love Frequency.

I really enjoy this fragrance. It reminds me of coco Fleur by Nette. I think it’s a beautiful solar coconut forward perfume. Would definitely recommend as a beachy vibe type of summer scent that is classy and elegant. When I wear it I feel overJOYed 😄

great longevity and projection. i am a sucker for tuberose, which is very strong in this. quite a tropical scent but still powdery and sweet at the same time.

I love this and it gets better and stronger with age mine is about a year old! Beautiful tropical flowers and hot sand.

I love this scent it’s unique and doesn’t smell like anything I have tried or owned and I owned for 3000 bottles

This is definitely my favorite among the fragrances being sold under the Charlotte Tilbury brand, but I don't think that is anything original or ground-breaking though. It smells like your typical summery white floral scent, with a slightly sunscreeny vibe. Not that there is anything wrong with that, though! I just feel like other fragrances like Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford and Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche by Estée Lauder have done it better. I definitely get the neroli in the top notes and it gives this fragrance a zingy white floral opening from the get go, but it smells more like the orange blossom absolute concentrate than neroli. Maybe that is coming from the coconut water being mixed from the neroli? I also couldn't smell much coconut water, but I was glad coconut didn't smother the other notes unlike some other summery white floral fragrances are won't to do. I couldn't smell any petitgrain either. The tuberose, jasmine and ylang ylang heart was my favorite part of this fragrance and I found it quite lush in its scent profile. The tuberose was definitely the queen of this lush bouquet, but the ylang ylang lends a lot of its banana-tinged buttery sweetness and the jasmine lended a beautiful indolic air as well. It was all slightly too synthetic smelling for my liking, though. Only just a tad. The dry-down was nice with the vanilla and musk, giving a lovely and warm feeling to this perfume and making everything feel all cozy on my skin. I do feel like I am being warmed by the rays of the sun on the beach while wearing this. I wish that the longevity was longer though, since I only got just over 4 hours of this fragrance projecting at arm's length, until its last very intimate hour, before it disspeared off of my skin without a trace. I get a feminine and casual vibe from Joyphoria by Charlotte Tilbury, but it isn't going to win any awards anytime soon and I have smelt fragrances that have been more masterfully blended than this. I'd still give Joyphpria a 7.6/10 though. I am also one of the few to find these bottles pretty and not tacky... they look like cave crystals to me in person! I also think that this is one of the better recent fragrance releases in the last two years or so.

Hopefully I'm not going to be bashed for this review & beaten to de@th with rotten tomatoes haha but hear me out: I feel like the bet was that a hot pot of popular spring/summer notes would inevitably create at least somewhat crowd pleasing fragrance. And in a way it did hence the higher ratings for this scent compared to the other ones in the line. However, this is the most amateur mix of spring/summer notes that I've smelled. Sure, it's fun & sunny & floral, but it smells like a bad grades student cheated & copied the notes from popular "good grade student" fragrances & then just mashed them together not caring about proportions, scent profile, performance, etc. Each note is fighting for my nose's attention, each one is pushed into the mix like passengers into a bus in peak hour creating a total cacophony of scents. I must admit that sniffing it in the store I liked this fragrance the most out of the entire line but it was just the opening & the other frags seemed to be simpler & more linear, uncomplicated whereas here I could smell more notes. However, the more I sniff all of them, the more I don't like how imbalanced this scent is. I feel even without doing the more sophisticated work, if they dropped a few notes & made the scent simpler & more linear, it could at least work as a background scent to be layered with a better performing fragrance. But the way it is now - sorry, it's not for my nose.

The thinking behind Charlotte Tilbury's new perfume line seems to be to take tired tropes that have been done a thousand times before and package them in colourful "magic potion" bottles. The thing is, the bottle design is tacky, and the perfumes within are mediocre, contributing nothing new. Joyphoria is CT's suntan lotion offering, a beachy, coconut-laced white floral, in the manner of many others. It is one of the better CT perfumes, but is overpriced for what it is. Joyphoria is led by its lactonic coconut note, joined quickly by the smooth white floral accord. Creamy and sweet, I get orange blossom up top, thankfully more tropical than syrupy. Tuberose and ylang ylang slowly emerge, forming a predictable heart. It becomes powdery as it develops, with some vanilla keeping things sweet in the base. It becomes a little thin after a time, and the musky accord in the base is quite synthetic - there is a slight harshness as it dries down. It fades to a musky skin scent with vanilla lingering. Sillage and longevity are moderate. It is a feminine summertime day scent. A reasonably pleasant but run-of-the-mill beachy, suntan lotion scent, Joyphoria brings absolutely nothing new to the table, and is a little harsh at the drydown. This would be fine at a lower price point, but even Sol de Janeiro scents don't tend to be harsh. Mediocre. 2/5.

The only Tilbury fragrance I like. A boldly unapologetic 80s beachy white floral. Although not as brash or long lasting as they used to make them then. Reminds me of Cacharel Lou Lou, Mugler Alien, Arden Red Door and Giorgio Beverly Hills (less harsh and smoother than those last two). For once the listed notes are accurate to what I expected to smell. For me the ylang ylang, jasmine, bubblegum-like tuberose, pettigrain, vanilla and powdery notes are all obviously present and nicely blended. I also get subtle musty coconut and spicy carnation? I don't like these in fragrances as they come off dirty and heavy to me, but thankfully these are not strong here. It still has a freshness not skanky. It's got impressive strength, one spray is enough and lasts 3 hours on my skin. This loud beachy white floral is mood boosting and hyper feminine but doesn't cross over to nauseating levels. I wouldn't wear it to work or a crowded dinner indoors unless I knew my associates preferences very well. But casual outside dining, sexy summer nights, beach walks, relaxing in a garden, joyful holiday vibes, yes!

Wearing tiger lily flowerbomb today and Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori Gucci yesterday i, I decided to go give this a smell to finish my thoughts on the line. It's genuinely a lovely summer perfume for floral lovers that prefer something a little musky over outright fresh. It does have the (now classic) sunscreen smell to the product, but it's not as overwhelming as it can be in other scents. I'm perfectly happy to use up my tiger lily and Profumo Di Fiori before I consider this scent, but if I were to get any of the line it's either Joyphoria or Cosmic Power. Costs way too much to be a scent I won't reach for most of the time.

Lovely light scent, it's nice but that's as far as it goes in my ratings as I think if a perfumes costs over £120 it has to project for me, this isn't a groundbreaking scent just the standard sunlotion scent from a brand, that all make one... Projection is light to intimate, at this particular time I'm looking for beast mode but this scent profile this could be applied like a bodyspray even on the beach it's that light for me personally like a sol de janiero spray. That being said its perfect for a light spritz of fragrance thats not too heavy or cloying definately daytime wear.

I enjoyed trying this one on. I generally like fairly fresh, light, white florals, and this felt like a slightly sexier, dirtier version of my usual scent palette. I really liked the effect of the ylang ylang in addition to the white florals. I do get a bit of the sunscreen vibe, which I don't love, but it's definitely not as aggressively sunscreeny as other sunscreen fragrances. This perfume makes me want to try out similar fragrances, because I generally liked it, but I'm not totally sold on it.

This fragrance is in the same family as TF Soleil Blanc - typical sunscreeny, summery scent. Pretty. Light, tropical, a bit creamy, no harsh florals or synthetic coconut. Fades fast, expensive for what you get. But the EMAILS. The sheer amount of “darling” spam I get from CT rivals the relentless friend requests I get from widowed gym-bro military doctors that live overseas. I should have minded my business. I miss the person I was before I ordered this fragrance.

I quite like this. I didn't think I would but I do! It's an uplifting happy scent, I love the way the layers come together, the amount of citrus is perfect, just the right amount of sweetness. I can see myself wearing this one on a warm summer night. There's a note in this i can't quite place but it gives nostalgia and reminds me of a perfume or hair product from the past that smelled really good in my memory! It definitely gives joy and some euphoria. Good stuff.

Floral Brazilian Bum Bum Perfume Dupe💐☀️ This is a nice delicious sweet floral fragrance😋 I would say it's more yellow floral than white floral. Also, I love the combo of jasmine and tuberose that gives that juicy hold to the fragrance🧃 I swear there's a mimosa note in here! It does have a bit of the synthetic feel, but I would say it is definitely for someone bubbly, youthful, and ready to have fun in the sun😁 Zodiac Trio ⬆️Leo☀️Cancer🌛Cancer

I like this! I haven’t smelled the others from the line but this is great if you love perfumes similar to Soleil Blanc or Alien Goddess. Pretty white florals and coconut with some sweetness from the vanilla and cosy with the cashmere wood. Really well blended and summery. I think it’s another nice option but isn’t very unique considering there’s many other perfumes similar to this.

This is a powdery white floral, it’s a clean and comforting scent. I can easily see this being an everyday scent but also it working as a date night scent. Definitely not a safe blind buy if you aren’t a fan of white florals. But I love it, I’ll be adding a full size to my collection as soon as I can!

This is very English, in a good way. It reminds me of the first time I went to London and stayed in a typical London house. A bit old-fashioned, a bit classy, a bit soapy clean. It's very floral, very neroli, tuberose and jasmine, and very joyful! When I smell it, I picture a sunny day in the UK.

I think I like it, but the scent evaporates so quickly that I’m not sure 🤣 Initially it smells like summer and sunscreen, along the line of alien goddess and le soleil blanc. If the silage and projection would be better, I’d definitely buy it. However, it’s by far the best smelling of the line!

I ended up liking this one, the others from the brand are not very¡y good in my opinion. I actually think that it is a very interesting citrusy perfume, I don't often like citruses but this one has a skin like quality to it that I enjoy. A fresh and comfy scent! Not worth the price imo tho

I smelled the entire line and this is the one I like the most. It literally does what it says. Makes you feel good and joyful. I use this at home whenever I want to boost my mood. I will not be repurchasing as I have better perfumes but I don’t have anything bad to say about it

Take Voulez-Vous Coucher Avec Moi By Kilian and add Gorgeous! from Michael Kors - you get the perfume! It is really beautiful but somewhat familiar and yet addictive! I probably won’t repurchase because I have the above mentioned scents and I get that effect already.

Beautiful! Surprisingly beachy. I can smell the tuberose, the coconut and the vanillla the most. I thought ‘love frequency’ was my fave of the lot but I think it might be this one now. Very sweet and feminine in a beachy way.

Out of the six in the collection, this is one of the more likeable ones. The name and bottle suits the fragrance. It is sunny and coconutty with a hint of island flowers. It is pleasant.

This may be the best perfume of this collection. It's a lovely blend of white flowers, but sadly it is not particularly special, nor does it have a great longevity.

Smells like laundry detergent in a good way. Soapy fragrances are up my alley, and this one is quite underrated I think. It reminds me A Drop by IM.

Just like Soleil Blanc, Bronze Goddess, the summer Alien. Typical white floral, slightly sweet suntan lotion scent. Good nonetheless

I recently bought the 10ml of this after smelling it in store. It reminds me so much of Narciso Eau Neroli Ambrée, which I love.

A nice wee summery white floral. Not the best in the world but no complaints. You could probably find better.

A joyful and fancy car freshener smell but in a good way. Not sure if I would spend on a full bottle though.

It's OK. Nothing stands out massively. Reminds me of the Kayalis. I'll use for layering.

I got a travel spray as a gift a while ago, but never got around to reviewing it. This is a solid like to me. It's primarily white florals, and while I can't distinguish the coconut water I do think it adds a little something to make this different than other white florals. This does not smell like sunscreen to me, but it smells like clean, summery, white florals (which a lot of the sunscreen fragrances have, but it's missing that loud coconut note). When my husband smelled this on me, he thought it smelled like I had just gotten out of the shower. It is very warm, and the florals can be almost too heavy. This fragrance is linear; there is no progression as it wears. Longevity is pretty weak. Within 3-4 hours I'd say this is completely gone. With other fragrances that last 3-4 hours, I still get whiffs of it throughout the day even after their peak, but I don't get that with this. Once it's gone, it's gone. Projection is pretty strong at first, but quickly becomes intimate. While I like this because it has a summery floral vibe that I haven't found in other fragrances, I've been unimpressed with the longevity and the projection. I also think this is overpriced for a celebrity makeup artist's perfume. Edit: if you want something similar for less than half the price, just get Gingham Glow from Bath & Body Works. It smells exactly the same, and performance is likely the same as well.

A creamy white floral with a jasmine-coconut-ylang backbone. Gives hints of sunscreen, but not in an overpowering way. The tuberose adds a syrupy sweetness that I really quite enjoy, and there’s an uplifting overall warmth to the base with its combination of cashmere, vanilla, and musk. It’s still too generic to be a memorable scent, but it’s perfectly pleasant. One of the better options from this collection, although let down by the fact that it doesn’t last more than a couple of hours on my skin.

I've gone through 2 samples of this now and I've have come to the conclusion that CT fragrancies are just not for me. I think I have tried all of them at least once and even gave away a set of samples for most of them as I just don't reach for them. I don't get any coconut at all on this just a white floral musk that has the tendency to turn musty on me if it gets too hot. I have also found this to have zero staying power and needed regular top ups to be able to smell, it. Not a keeper for me

Very traditional yellow floral. Reminded me in spirit of the 90’s power bomb of Amarige though not it its profile just that it’s a big hitter floral plus plus in the same style. The nuance of coconut is lost on me, I get big Jasmine first with Ylang Ylang there in the midst and unusually tuberose is the quieter flower. It’s very retro, I know it’s not for me but it is well blended. Lasted 6hrs or so on skin, I didn’t commit it to fabric but imagine it could stick around on a scarf forever.

Close to the skin, this is actually delightful. Sweet and comforting, slightly powdery white florals I could crawl around in. In a fragrance cloud, this is a little nauseating and headache-inducing. 3 spray trial, and after wearing this for an hour and a half, I want a shower and a nap. If this had next to no sillage, it’d be higher rated. For future reference: try one-spray for the back of the neck, worn alongside Soleil Blanc and/or Lust For Sun.

It's okay. Not offensive but literally nothing to write home about. While Love Frequency, Calm Bliss and Magic Energy are generic, they still have assigned notes (rose, aquatic notes and herbal/woody notes respectively). Which isn't the case for Joyphoria. Joyphoria smells like perfume I guess? There's definitely vanilla and jasmine somewhere. Will put it in my "Yeah that's a perfume" category.

I got a free sample and expected to hate it because of the unmitigated disaster that was More Sex by the same house. I actually like it a lot. I love tuberose, and this is a quality tuberose with just a hint of its fleshy aspects, pure and natural. It also has traces of coconut and jasmine. Overall smells like less brilliant Datura Noir by Lutens. Very nice.

this is fine 🤷🏻♀️ it's safe for gifting, because there's nothing off-putting. mostly fruit and tuberose, but not the overly indolic kind. it's a repeat of a million others in every department store, though, so you really only need to be here if you're a brand loyalist or if the bottle is just visually appealing to you.

I tried this and it instantly reminded me a of a bad version of armani code femme. It’s a nice warm floral with touches of jasmine, coconut water and vanilla, but it’s just not very unique. Pretty, but nothing that really stood out on me so I ended up giving it away.

another frangrance following the white floral sunscreeny trend, it it pleasant to smell and i will definetly use my 10mls this summer but its too boring and genering for a full bottle especially at this price point, my mom loooves it tho lol
