Launched in 2014, this scent has, as source of inspiration, imposing and decided people, who can give a touch of elegance, even in the simplest things. The main idea of this fragrance was to use the French lavender, which is a simple and very well accepted material in the Brazilian market. It is considered a floral-woody-spicy and combines the stately side of noble woods with the popularity of coffee. Many people do not understand the origin of its name and I was one of them. I thought that it was an acronym for something from the study area of the perfumer, which led me to search the content of disciplines in the Pharmacy course. In the end, I thought it is something about Analytical Chemistry (Química Analítica, in Portuguese). But, in fact, it is a pun, since the lavender was enriched with nuances of coffee, fig and tobacco, receiving, then, a "special touch" (quê a mais, in Portuguese), reason of its name. QA+ has notes of ginger, cardamom and lavender, in the output; Fig, geranium and tobacco, in the heart; Sandalwood, patchouli and coffee, in the base. On the skin, becomes elegant and well prepared. Of all creations of Charme Essência that I tested, this is the most polished, at least until this moment. It has the traditional French perfumery variables with some innovative touches. Mixing the lavender with the fig was, without doubt, a genius idea! In terms of evolution, the lavender is exquisite. It has silky and sweet nuances that get lost amid the bitter nuances of cardamom. The heart is fruity and creamy. And this contrast makes the scent seem hot and cold, sweet and green, fresh and dense, all at the same time. On my skin, the coffee not excelled, but only the earthy side of patchouli and the milky softness of sandalwood. QA+ was born to pay tribute to the nobility of lavender, bringing the classical French cologne to the present day, thanks to the most modern touch of the Fig and the sweet-smoky side of the tobacco. If you know the scent of The Dreamer (Versace) and like it, then you can try to imagine a combination of layers between its fragrance with an absolute of lavender and a touch of fig, and you will understand how this creation is. It has good projection, but manages to maintain the elegance required for the lavender doesn't seem of poor quality. The lasting, on my skin, is around 8 hours. Apart from the name, which should be improved, I only got compliments on this perfume. Worth knowing!
