Bitter Melon Lemon Tea

tested in a 2ml sample and wow , it smells like those chinese lemon oolong ice tea drinks . the bitter melon note acts as a background making the tea note more realistic this could be a summer staple in many South Asia countries

Light, fresh, cool cucumber/melon vibe with subtle tea and a hint of citrus oil. Dries down very ozonic and “wet”, and lasts many hours. Refreshing!

The name and note list got me Very excited. And, it somewhat lives up to the expectations. A bit too aldehydic/ozonic molecule-like in the opening for my taste, but otherwise Very pleasant. Clean, refreshing, elegant, and floral fragrance, with an unsweetened lemon green tea, vetiver, and jasmine scent. It has strong projection, from opening, past the mid, and well into the dry-down. Opens with Cucumber peal and lemon, with a load of aldehydic/ozonic molecules. Did irritate and tightened up my throat, making breathing a bit difficult (something that certain ingredients does). In the mid, i do get the melon note. But mostly, i get a Gorgeous jasmine, backed up with "green tea with a squeeze of lemon in it". Refreshing, relaxing, elegant, and clean smelling. The cucumber only lasted for 30 ish minutes on me before fading away under all the other notes. The vetiver turns it a little "earthy green" towards the dry-down. When it hits dry-down, the vetiver has taken over, and jasmine is also easily detectable, with that lemon in green tea accord lingering in the background. Where: Casual, semi-casual, semi-formal wear. You can easily dress this up or down. Elegant and clean will always be a nice dressed up scent. Also, the lemon green tea gives it a relaxing and casual tone. Not for weddings and nights out, imo. But for a social event, it would work well. When: Spring and summer. Day time. There is nothing that makes me think night time or winter/autumn. It's a refreshing warm weather feel to me. Who: Any age. Unisex, leaning feminine on my skin. If you like the idea of a refreshing and clean fragrance, that's floral and ozonic, with a green and earthy touch. It's something you should check out. Personal score: 7.75/10. I love it, but i can't wear it. It closes up my throat, so obviously it's not going to be something i can wear. Also, it is a little bit feminine. Not so much as i can't/won't wear it. But enough that i'd rather wear other tea fragrances for this use.

It’s bitter melon, not cucumber — truly bitter melon. It really is a lemon tea scent, but with the addition of bitter melon, it somehow feels a bit watery. It’s interesting and unusual, but not something I’d wear. As the bitter melon note fades away, what’s left is citrusy lemon tea, which is actually more pleasant

Lovely fragrance, but I think I'd prefer it in a body wash or soap. The cucumber and bitter melon notes are very prominent on my skin throughout the wear of the perfume. And while I find those scents to be very refreshing, I find I don't really want to smell like them for hours.

Strong jasmine and cucumber scent. Very airy and watery at the same time. I like it but it's not that unique tbh.

So glad I bought a sample, love all the notes together..and the opening was fresh, bitter melon, tea and jasmine exactly and distinctly noted.. Unfortunately, after 30 mins this strange note came through and smelled like you'd walked past someone who had not washed in several days. So awful my roommates commented. My body chemistry didn't vibe with this one. Whatever base note or formulation brought out the duck poo part. I'm a little sad bc it's a very fresh, tea forward and actually had longevity with these more typically lighter scents..I even tried layering.. Make sure you test first!

At the top, it has an aquatic, synthetic rind bitterness that immediately feels off. The citrus reads more like lemon‐rind concentrate than natural peel, giving the fragrance a sharp, plasticky edge. The attempt to mimic bitter melon through this citrus rind structure creates a green‐bitter, watery sharpness that doesn’t settle into harmony. The tea note stays faint, offering no balance. The overall effect is an aquatic, synthetic rind bitter citrus green accord that comes across unpleasant.

This one is bad. A real scrubber. Not in a "I don't personally like it" way, but in a "I think this objectively smells putrid" kind of way. Like rotten vegetables but someone tried to cover it up with a cheap synthetic melon scented aerosol cleaner. It's really bad. I'm wondering if my sample went off or something. How are these other reviews so positive?!

This is the very first perfume that I’ve ever viscerally reacted to. I am being literal when I say that it made me gag each time I smelled it on my skin, and I have an ironclad gag reflex. To me it smells unpleasantly sour and bitter- quite like human bile in a hospital NG tube suction canister. I could not wash it off quickly enough.

Fresh and crisp! Admittedly, I am not familiar with bitter melon. But I do get a nice iced melon/ cucumber tea note that I can't wait to try out in the warmer months. I wouldn't consider this particularly sharp or bitter, moreso smooth and refreshing. The tea notes come out more in the dry down, without any dusty qualities. I enjoy the "icy" or ozonic notes that keep this an uplifting and summery. I'd recommend trying this for anyone who was a former lover of the 90's BBW cucumber melon body spray. This is a nice grown-up version in the same vein. Edit: First time trying it in properly warm weather. The florals really come out, almost overpowering the melon. I'm still getting the summery tea vibes here with also a lot of jasmine. I've lost some of the ozonic notes SO strong! Two sprays and I could smell it on me the following morning.

Tried at LORE the other day. Light and uplifting, no astringency at all rather a realistic citrus scent with some melon - like a cantaloupe-esque type - some cucumber (not salty or pickley at all) and a moderately present tea note that isn't overbearing. Different from the rest of their line, this one you could totally get away with in the extreme heat - unlike rain tea and most others. Didn't try on skin so no clue about longevity or sillage. Unique release from the house, from scent alone a light 8/10.

Ooph.. not for me at all but it's crafted well. Smells really green to me, name fits it perfect. Also though it smells mildly like cow farm though so idk. Reccomend sample first. Really strong, leaves a scent trail.

While this certainly smells like the iced drink from famous Chinese franchise Jo's Cha that it takes inspiration from, this is not a wearable scent. Would be great as a room spray though!

smells exactly like the ice lemon tea with the sugar syrup you get at cafe de coral (in Hong Kong). unbelievably photorealistic

I remember the first time I bought a can of bitter melon tea at an asian supermarket. I’m assuming it smelled just like this!

I can’t imagine this being very wearable. Very bitter , green and sharp
