Tea Service

Tea Service has earned a spot in my very small full bottle collection. If you find yourself wanting more from photorealistic tea fragrances like those by One Day, I would suggest giving the Chasing Scents line a chance. They are highly true to the earthy, slightly bitter scent of both dry and freshly brewed and steeped tea, but lean sweeter and more complex. I find Tea Service and Rain Tea are a bit like sisters, with the former pulling more bitter and dry. This ultimately makes it a bit more realistic of tea scent to my nose, but there is an undeniable sweet and lactonic quality here as well, even if it's not listed in the accords. Despite tea scents being notorious for having less-than-ideal longevity, I find that I can still smell this ages after I spray. It clings particularly strong to clothing. The other day, I put on a jacket that I had worn the week prior when I sprayed Tea Service, and could still distinctly smell it lingering on the cuff. Average-to-strong sillage. I don't get much jasmine on my skin, and the osmanthus is the more dominant of the white florals in Tea Service's composition. The peach here is not ripe, sweet, or jammy, but rather somewhat green and bitter in tandem with the oolong. The sweetness is coming from something that I can't entirely place... if you like the smell of Taiwanese milk tea or boba, that is definitely present in this. Tea Service is a delicious blend. I hope to see Ms. Sandy Wong release 100ml bottles sometime in the future!

This scent is mind blowing, as a scent that is. As a fragrance I’m less sure about it. Chasing Scents did a perfect job with Tea Service, it reminds me exactly of walking into a tea shop or opening a fresh tea cake. I really enjoy that scent profile but I’m not sure if it’s a fragrance I would want to wear very often. This feels more like an enjoyable scent to smell rather than to wear. Performance wise Tea Service is exactly what I would suspect from a fragrance like this. It’s lasts between 4 and 5 hours on my skin and less on my clothes, maybe about 3 hours. A 8/10 for longevity. The projection is also right in line with what I feel like a fragrance like this should have, it projects nicely but well within my arms length. It’s not quite a skin scent but it’s very close. A 7/10 here. Tea Service is the scent for you if you want to smell like tea. I love the way it smells and the fact that it perfectly replicates the rush of air from a tea house when you open the door. An 8/10 for me! I’m just not sure how often I would wear this fragrance, I think this is closer to art then it is daily wear fragrance. That said it is inoffensive and pleasent in the best ways.

I love tea and grew up drinking Taiwanese oolong and jasmine green. Tea Service fully captures the delicate beauty of those teas - bright, floral, and a bit green. There's also a touch of osmanthus in here - more osmanthus tea than the flower. Musks are a hit or miss for me, as I find a lot of them grating or I'm anosmic to them. In this composition, the musks get along harmoniously with all the other notes. The scent also has surprisingly good projection and longevity on me, I got a bit on my clothes and can still smell it the next day. This is also absolutely the most true-to-life tea notes I've ever encountered in a fragrance. The perfumer apparently makes her own tea extract (she documents the process on her Instagram), and it totally pays off in her creations. I got all the available Chasing Scents samples at Luckyscent, and so far they've all been pretty amazing. Very impressed with this house! Edit: Has enough backbone and versatile enough to be layered with other frags. Fantastic with a dab of Nishane’s Ani for extra freshness/greenery.

Tea Service is meant to represent oolong tea, not green tea. The strong presence of jasmine and the scent of tea in general can make this swing either direction, oolong or green... but when you objectively compare, Tea Service is perfectly expressive of oolong jasmine, as shown in the notes. (I'm emphasizing this because Tea Service keeps getting recommended as a "green jasmine tea" in the forums... a tea connoisseur may detect otherwise, so be careful selling it to someone as a "green tea" because they might know better.) The oolong is what makes this a little earthy, deeper than a green tea, and gives it a honey-like nuttiness at the base, with beautiful jasmine petals strewn over it. I agree with others, it gives the smell of a boba tea shop. It's phenomenal. If you want realistic jasmine oolong, this is it! But if you want realistic GREEN jasmine tea, go for One Day's Jasmine Tea.

Absolutely beautiful. As many have already said, the jasmine and oolong combine to capture an extremely realistic tea accord. For me, I'm instantly transported to sipping on an extra large iced jasmine tea on one of the first days of spring, when you're just getting bold enough to wear shorts and walk in the park. The peach and goji berry cut some of the dryness from the florals without being overly sweet. Like all of the perfumes from this house, I find the projection and longevity to be very good, especially for something that is so delicate and soft. If you are at all into tea fragrances, a Chasing Scents discovery set is kind of a must buy - Sandy Wong captures tea in a way I've never smelled before. Will definitely be adding a FB of this and Rain Tea to my collection.

This scent is absolutely delicious. Immediately hits you with sweet florals and white musk, with a juicy fruitiness that just makes your mouth water. The jasmine and osmanthus balance out the fruit notes well, giving some sophistication that keeps it from leaning too far into gourmand, while still being sweet and playful. Tea Service feels like a spring picnic on a sunny hill. It utterly invokes enjoying green tea and honeyed fruits, while watching the clouds and smelling wildflowers on the breeze.

Gorgeous scent. If tea to you only means english breakfast, earl grey, or chamomile, you would not call this a tea scent. But if you've ever stepped foot in a Chinese tea store, you'll be met with beautiful oolong and pu'erh notes. It's a deep, dark roasted tea scent with a sharp sweetness akin to that of jasmine. The bittersweet nature of the scent really creates an incredibly photorealistic scent that I now call my signature

I put this on maybe 15 minutes ago but I really really really love it already, Im a huge tea drinker and I just adore this so much, it feels like I took a whiff of my fav loose leaf jasmine green tea I keep in my tea cabinet. The frag also captures the light bitterness and astringency of a freshly steeped cup of tea, and the white peach note completely balances it, I keep smiling because of how giddy it makes me feel :)

Very authentic tea scent. Not something I have smelt before in the European fragrance house tea scent. As a Chinese this just reminds me of home 😌 Longevity is however not good on me (<3 hrs). My poor body chemistry, a lot of fragrance don't last in me. The brand is now selling in luckyscent in the US. This is where I sampled this. Looking forward to try the other teas!

Oh my goodness it’s like being in a cloud of peach jasmine oolong goodness! This was the first one I tried out of their discovery set and it left such a good impression! The tea scent was realistic with the fruitiness making it smell exactly like something I would order from a bubble tea place. I was in pure bliss while it lasted, if only it wasn’t so fleeting!

Perhaps my favourite scent, a truly realistic, juicy, bitter black tea scent with a round / full mouthfeel. Bitter without being green, gourmand without being sweet. Perfect for autumn/winter but lovely in summer as more of the jasmine notes pick up in the heat. I love this for layering with sweeter or more one-dimensional perfumes to add a bitter note.

First time I smell it in a summer weather in Sydney, I hated it and headache, bitter! And now I am in Melbourne, obviously colder weather, smell different somehow, less cloying and very refreshing Oolong tea. Stays longer in my clothes, I do smell honey a bit, less sticky tho. Goji Berry and Peach enhance feminine oriental energy. In Love!

Personally I think what sets this tea fragrance apart from other tea fragrances like Nishane WLC and Killian imperial tea is the fact that it smells like dried tea leaves instead of fresh tea leaves, bringing out that richness of that oolong making it feel nice and warm instead of cool and chill like the two aforementioned fragrances.

I have been searching for this essence all my life. I feel complete with Tea Service, as a human. Edit: I am in America and initially ordered the sample. I now know how it smells and would like the big bottle. I can't get it due to shipping :( I will forever wait till it is available to me. I understand they are a fairly new house.

Smells exactly like what you would expect, reminds me of walking into a tea shop. The jasmine and oolong are both there but it is definitely very sweet and you get the peach. If you have ever had peach jasmine green tea at a boba place... that's exactly what this is. I love it but I don't know if I would buy it as a full bottle.

a warm and dear scent. reminiscent of the tea served to you at a dimsum restaurant, cozy and nostalgic. very realistic. leaning more towards grandma's oolong cabinet than something you could get from a bay area bubble tea shop for $15.99. you manage to wow me again, chasing scents. thanks for this heartwarming masterpiece

I quite literally said WOW when I first smelled this. The literal and accurate representation of tea is top notch with this fragrance. For those that are yearning for a bit of sweetness to go along with this tea, layer it with Tihota by Indult. It smells so delectable like a lightly sweetened jasmine green tea.

This is soo delightful, so comforting. The jasmine tea is photorealistic more so than oolong. There’s a tarty medicinal tang about 10min in that might be the goji berry note? which fades into a yummy smoky sweet tea musk. Fem leaning. Lasted ages on me even with scrubbing my wrist in the shower. Love!

The best tea scent of 2022, solid green tea with jasmine. As a fan of tea scent, I am quite satisfied with the quality of authentic tea in this perfume. Big thumb up for anyone who want a nice, welcoming tea scent. Definitely a 9/10 Lasted 12 hours on my skin, how crazy is that???

Love at first sniff, purchased it instantly. Literally was not walking out of the store without it. I was intoxicated. Currently drinking some jasmine green tea with some Osmanthus honey syrup I made and it’s the perfect accompaniment to this fragrance. I’m just obsessed.

I definitely smell a lot of Osmanthus and a bit of sweetness to it, almost like a peach. I do love the smell, it's just that the osmanthus make it quite unisex/masculine side and I was looking for more unisex towards feminine. I think this would smell great on a man.

The scent is very realistic jasmine tea. My first thought when applied is that it smells like the 玉蘭花 that they sell roadside when I lived in taiwan. Then it goes into tea and it's an amazing blend. It's very realistic and a nostalgic scent for me.

It was hard to not buy this the second I got my sample. Tea Service is a realistic jasmine green tea scent. It's comforting and beautiful. If you need a scent for spring or summer and love the smell of jasmine green tea, this one's for you.

I really like the scent but it only last on my skin for an hour and pretty much disappears except for a slight sweet smell. But it stays on my clothes for a week and the oolong tea scent does not go away so i suppose that's fine

This makes me feel like 😎😎 The way that the tea keeps its bitter earthiness throughout the wear but balances it out with honeyed sweetness. Definitely a hot weather perfume - feels like it's cooling me down just by wearing it.

This is a realistic jasmine tea with honey scent. To my nose, it has just a touch of smokiness from the oolong tea note. The peach is there supporting the jasmine and it's absolute stunning! Next I'm going to buy Rain Tea.

Hyperrealistic! My go-to drink during the summer is jasmine bubble tea so whenever I smell this I'm instantly transported to warm summer days while sipping on cool jasmine tea. It's a sensory journey worth checking out!

A divine, photorealistic jasmine tea from an Asian perspective. Love the tea scent and airy jasmine scent. an excellent tea perfume tea lovers must try. if the longevity can be improved, I will give this 100/100.

a super refreshing scent feels like drinking an iced peach oolong tea! the dry down is very peach and a bit of musk...theres something else in there...i cant put my finger on it but its...undeniably chinese..

This is literally high-quality oolong tea from your favourite local tea dispensaries. Floral, fruity and nuanced. Dense, heady. Makes me yearn to go into the city and buy some tea. Savour the experience.

Starts out to be a very chinese tea herbal medicinal packed tea scent, then it becomes my most favorite smooth cozy relaxing sweet, but still oriental tea, smelling scent. I am truly in love. <3

This is the most realistic tea scent I have tried. It very much smells like milk tea boba. Sweet, milky and with prominant oolong.

Boba and medicine shops are good reads on this, but primarily in the earlier stages where the honey is stronger, the oolong has not fully blended into the jasmine, and before the peach appears. A light and bright sweetness to this at first, the honey goes a long way, standing above the rest of the notes and starting the momentum of the scent's sweetness that never fully fades. Oolong, honey, jasmine - exactly what it says on the tin, picture-perfect. For what a jasmine! Three hours in and this is Loy Krathong in a bottle. Flower garlands and raw sugarcane, the sweetness of this scent turns into a deep warm night. Jasmine, jasmine, beloved jasmine - for all the power scent has as a backbone of how the brain processes memory, beyond any other of the senses, I don't know if anything has the power to punch me back to childhood like jasmine does. Tea Service is a strong and beautiful oolong but an absolutely potent jasmine, and a love song written to the flower that borders on a complemented soliflore. But the tea is absolutely crucial to this scent; the exact rising fragrance you get from real rustling oolong is an integral part of how the jasmine here behaves. As this scent develops it solidifies - the jasmine draws the other components even further into itself, the heavy honey sweetness slowly yields to the late-revealed peach, a nectarlike and shy peach which remains unobtrusive while still doing wonders at developing that creaminess in the jasmine. The oolong also becomes less distinguishable from the flower, never disappearing but perhaps tinting the whiteness a bit darker, the plant more green. A sillage that never lets you go and an easy full-day wear on me, twelve hours no question, to the point where this is one of the few scents I've had to underspray. I am a big fan of this one, but it's also the first scent that's actually given me a headache reaction, owing entirely to my own one-more-spritz hubris hahaha. Not a beast by any means, but keep a light touch with this one. Even once the physical scent wears off, I've found this sticking in my mind through wears of other scents, trying to find Tea Service's echos in every floral shadow - I'm not yet sure if this is a full bottle buy for me, but it's a strong recommend for any jasmine lover. This may be The One for you.

Sorry to be the party pooper 💩 but I'm also an avid tea drinker and this isn't as close to the real deal as people say—I mean, first of all you don't mix jasmine & osmanthus in tea, not to mention neither flower is that distinguishable here; secondly, just because it's made "with" natural extracts doesn't mean it's not saturated with chemical fillers. It's like a mix of Demeter's Baihao Yinzhen Tea and Imperial Tea by Kilian, which are both top-notch tea fragrances, but consider how cheap Demeter is and how sharp the opening of this fragrance is, I wonder if it's worth it...I was expecting this to break the mold of Western (construct of) tea tbh 😕

Got a sample. Very honeyed, old, wooden. Definitely an old Japanese tea house that is in need of a little repair, but is more homely than anything else. Outside, it's spring turning to summer, and a bead of sweat drips down your neck. You're thirsty, and there's nothing around except this tea house for miles. A very beautiful scent, sweet, sophisticated and syrupy with a citrus, wooden undertone. If you like cleaner, fresh scents, I'd stay away from this one. I like it, just not for me.

After reading through a bunch of reviews, I feel like I'm going crazy. I haven't seen anyone mention it but I get a very strong honey note in this perfume and it overpowers all other notes. I still like to wear it on the days I want to feel cozy and sweet, especially in colder weather but instead of predominantly oolong or jasmine tea, I get a nondescript green tea that someone put way too much honey in. I really want to love it but it can get too cloying.

Gives Asian medecine store, not in a bad way, but in a nostalgic way. Takes me back to visiting these kinds of stores when I was younger. The tea is certainly there as well as the jasmine softening the scent profile, unfortunatley i dont get much of the Peach note. Overall I would describe this scent as a dry tea with soft florals and I agree with @IamSosh, there is certainly a honey type accord buried in there somewhere, its subtle, but its there.

Even though it’s a tea fragrance, I didn’t expect it to smell as realistic. It’s also cozier (vs. uplifting like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea) than I had expected. I definitely catch the jasmine at first whiff, then the oolong settles in, which is reminiscent of drinking tea at an asian restaurant. Dry down is like being inside a bubble tea shop. It smells like jasmine milk tea with the scent of tapioca pearls and brown sugar syrup infused in the air.

On my skin, a sweetened jasmine tea scent that is not so much refreshing but rather more soothing. Although not overly sweet, it gives off a rather syrupy texture, almost ambery. Quite linear but the warm calming feeling keeps you hooked. This fragrance really projects, and lasts long, enjoying it non stop! What it lacks in complexity is made up for by its performance, kudos to Sandy Wong! Longevity 10hrs. Projection 9/10. Overall 8/10

Tea, honey, sweet, flowery. It has a warm, enveloping, cozy aura. It is light enough for warmer weather, but cozy enough to be worn in autumn. It feels like someone took jasmine tea and brewed a cup and poured a teaspoon of honey in. But there is an additional complexity to this scent, osmanthus and peach that brings in green and fruit elements. It is all very well rounded, unisex.

If rain tea is too sweet for you then tea service is the one for you. This smells like jasmine green tea to me without any heavy honey notes but with a slight sweetness from either the osmanthus or the peach. Even the jasmine note is very soft and not as strong as something like Still by JL. Realistic jasmine green tea. Will be wearing this out more often.

i was hoping for a sweet peach oolong tea, but this is just a photorealistic oolong with a hint of osmanthus and jasmine. im actually really impressed with how realistic it smells, like its ever so slightly sweetened with honey. brings back a lot of nostalgic memories, but i think i would actually wear/enjoy this more if i could smell the peach at all.

this is like a better version of rain tea, the honey scent is much less aggressive, reminiscent of brown sugar boba. surprisingly the osmanthus and goji berries really comes through, as they are quite delicate notes, reminding me of a chinese dessert (tang yuan). florals are stronger than the tea notes on this. 9/10

Oh my, what a realistic tea scent! I'm getting jasmine tea, osmanthus and smoky oolong tea. All sweetened with sugar syrup. I can taste the tannins at the back of my throat when smelling this - sweet, bitter tannins and very fragrant! If I close my eyes, I'm transported to a bubble tea shop lol. Delicious!
