Nuit d'Oranger

An indulging, comforting composition wrapped in a veil of pleasure. Neroli and orange blossom are smooth, almost creamy. The whole is elegant, feminine, and refined. A beautiful perfume for a lady.

I really like the authentic orange blossom absolute and neroli here. I'm not so keen on the patchouli and vanilla which make it feel a bit heavy and also 'samey'. The vanilla is a little bit 'scented candle' in effect. Truth be told I've yet to find an orange blossom perfume I love, I still prefer the orange blossom water you can find in India stores. That doesn't last on skin though, but it does taste utterly delicious in a white chocolate mousse! Minus patchouli, and with better quality vanilla, this would smell like orange blossom flavoured white chocolate mouse, which would be a very gourmand perfume but probably very 'more-ish'. The vanilla in Nuit d'Oranger also reminds me of Lancome's Soleil Vibrant.

This is quite strong, and a little old-fashioned. It definitely is more of a night time perfume, a spicy floral in an absolutely gorgeous bottle. I don’t know if it is quite my vibe, but it does smell quite nice! I would definitely say it is mostly suited for colder weather and more formal night time occasions. It is elegant and put together. As it dries down the orange blossom shines through, the spicy opening slowly moves to the background while still persisting.

A bold, herbaceous petitgrain against a sweet vanilla and a powdery mate. I agree that this smells vintage - both in scent and in big projection. Beautifully done and very different than what’s out there right now.

Super yummy woody vanilla with a touch of florals. Subtly bitter. Very sweet yet somehow not cloying. Careful though, this is a performer for sure. Very potent, very long lasting, do not overspray.

Very pleasant powdery quality, with amazing longevity. One spray on my hand and the scent hugged me all night long. More feminine. Pleasant scent and excellent quality.

العطر جميل ولكن لاتعتقد بسبب وجود النوتات الحمضية والبتغرين انه منعش العطر بشكل رئيسي عطر عسلي تقليدي، الرائحة اللي تشمها كثيرا بالعطور النسائية خطي تقريبا ولكن فيه تفاصيل كثيرة بهذه الخطية، واضح الجودة العالية باختصار رائحة وردية عسلية عامة مكررة ولكن بجودة عالية وجدته بسعر ١٧٠ دولار لل١٥٠ واعتقد هذا اقصى سعر يستحقه، اللي يحب هالنوع من الروائح هذا خيار ممتاز له بهالسعر ليس سيء، ولكن عادي جدا، لاتحتاجة ٦/١٠ - The fragrance is nice, but don’t assume that because it has citrus and petitgrain notes that it’s refreshing. This is mainly a traditional honeyed fragrance, the kind of scent you smell very often in women’s perfumes. It’s fairly linear, but there are many details within that linearity, and the high quality is obvious. In short, it’s a generic repetitive flowery honey scent, but done with high quality. I found it priced at $170 for 150ml, and I think that’s the absolute maximum it’s worth. If you enjoy this type of scent, then it’s an excellent option at that price. Not bad, but very average, you don’t need it. 6/10

sharp a bit bitter neroli prominent scent. too much neroli, not well balanced.

I got this as a sample and just purchased the 150ml bottle (there’s only 50ml or 150ml?). It is a simple yet gorgeous scent. The profile isn’t groundbreaking but after trying a few scents from this white floral/citrus category, this one is just the perfect balance between summery uplifting hot weather citrus florals to sweetness ratio. The dry down is beautiful. It leans “warm summer night”. There’s no sourness. It’s not very sweet. It’s just right. I think the bitter components are so well integrated that they enhance all the other elements. Lasts and projects for a long time. The scent bubble is balmy vanilla that’s also airy somehow. I’m now interested in trying the other two scents from this collection.

I'm surprised at the notes listed here...I would have said bergamot and orange blossom opening with something sweet like marshmallow but also oud and rosewood and then some vanillin in the far drydown. Kind of like black opium glitter with oud Instead of coffee...I do like it...It seems a "younger" scent to me it's nice eveningy but I wouldn't class it as sophisticated. Price is about right. update...sometimes there is a stage where I get a v intense baby powder... which I don't really like. I think this will get better as it macerates more and different wearings are more consistent..this time I'm not getting any of the oud which was really intense last time...not sure if cold weather has affected it...

Best of the 3 blue bottles, by quite some margin... but I can always be persuaded by orchid fantasy notes and tuberose, so hey I might change my mind. This leans on the strong side- enough to make me feel self conscious having sprayed a liberal amount on my hand before going out into the world. /At least it's not a bad smell I'm blasting out./ I am mainly getting a satisfying hit of an expensive, fatty, and fleshy orange flower, not much pink pepper (thank god), and a welcome earthy-greenness, which, having looked at the notes, I attribute to mate, (I wouldnt have guessed it on my own.) Once again, a competent floral that delivers a luxurious feeling (per its luxurious price). Nice work.

Unexpectedly sweet. A burst of mango jelly cup, then a vanilla & white floral mix. It smells like every designer white floral/vanilla perfume, reminds me of Giorgio Armani My Way Nectar & Sì Fiori. It’s sweet and quite strong, not for me personally.

This is similar to Villa Neroli by BDK for me, but the patchouli note is a bit more rough. I prefer Villa Neroli because it’s brighter and smoother with bourbon vanilla.

This smell like a classy woman who showers with citrus scented soap and applies a similarly scented expensive lotion. It sits close to my skin
