Jasmin Moghol

This scent is not for those who look for complexity. This is very simple and built around two notes - jasmine and sandalwood, but executed with such precision, which is inherent only in the works of a true Master.. Incredibly realistic jasmine and equally realistic sandalwood. It's the first scent I came across where jasmine is really dark, deep, and mysterious without being sweet. Yes, I agree, to me too it has a royal medieval Indian vibe. I too don't notice any rose, or at least not the usual garden roses I am used to. There is a bit more jasmine in the opening and a bit more sandalwood in the base, but otherwise it's more or less linear, and yet very mysterious and captivating. To me this degree of realism and this kind of simplicity make the scent absolutely exquisite and expensive smelling. Update: When I smell this fragrance not my nose to my wrist, but from some distance, an unexpected note appears. Something warm and earthy. Something that reminds me of rosehip seed oil.

My favorite jasmine perfume I’ve ever tried. All my male friends swoon over it, it’s sexy and deep. Imagine lying on an emerald green velvet chaise, draped in delicate cream colored silk and dripping in decadent gold jewelry. That’s what this perfume feels like. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long on me as I would like.

Hat's off to Alberto for creating an exceptional example of a perfect balance between 2 elements, here jasmine and rose. I would strongly recommend a sniff to anyone who can't get themselves to wear rose but keeps an open mind. The jasmine kept up by the tuberose is also of course sublime.

Yes! Smells like Chinese Jasmine indeed! But I can smell something lauric, musky, but the spiciness of sandalwood and lil bit of roses are here! But to me it is a Chinese Jasmine indeed! Fresh, light, but has a depth too!

The roses and the sandalwood create a creamy, slighty fresh base on top of which there is this semi-animalic (super-)natural jasmin (I swear I sense a neroli too!). Words, why have you forsaken me?
