Saffron Honey. Nuit des Rois (NdR)is straight-up sweet honeyed saffron, with a touch of amber. It becomes rosier and less sweet as it dries down, rendering it more beautiful than its opening minutes. NdR has almost no detectable oud. It gets its Arabic theme from the saffron/rose combo. Of note, the sweetness doesn't have that distinct honey smell you get in something like Zoologist's Bee. Also, as with many saffron/rose combos, there is an incensy nuance to the scent. Sweet, saffrony, rosey, lightly spicy, and a bit ambery. This perfume is complex! Initially, it smells like Initio's Side Effect / Alghabra's Eye of Seven Hills but with a moderate dose of rose. Later in the drydown, it becomes closer to Armani's Rose d'Arabie and Issey Miyake's L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Or Encens sweet rose. Particularly, Or Encense, as they both have a nice incensy accord late in the drydown. This development is quite rich and intriguing. A unisex cool weather wear. Some men might find its sweetness too feminine. It is just too sweet for me to enjoy wearing. "Love"

I'm from the Middle East and it's easy to us to have the chance to smell the real extracted oud oil. Chopard said that they used a rare and natural oud oil here and belive me guys I can smell it! What I smell here is the natural oud oil that my grandfather and my father used before its going very rare and hard to find. I usually not a fan of oud fragrances as most of them using a synthetic oud which can makes you feel sick sometimes. If you don't like oud in fragrances please try this one as this is one of the best oud I ever smelled. (Remember dont smell oud too close, always from a distance or let others tell how u smell and Try before you buy)

A gorgeous and inspirational perfume. Laotian Oud, Neroli, and Bitter Orange add so much warmth, along with the honey, to contrasting florals.

Well defined oud perfume. Classy and formal

Oud/rose/saffron creation with a smooth velvety texture and just enough nose-piercing start to avoid dullness. And there's also one single jolly uplifting note interwoven within this texture - a bright, almost sunny note, a honeyed orange I guess - popping out now and then from the routine nocturnal colors of oud, whispering that it's by no means for kings only (I am not a king anyway). Easy to enjoy.

Nuit Des Rois smells very pleasant. To me it smells smoky, with a honey note similar to miel d’Arabie, woodsy and a faint oud in the way back. It’s very nice a little too strong when you first spray it but once it settles it becomes a nice olfactory experience.

Reminds me of Hermes Galop, but much more sophisticated. Wearable but not groundbreaking.

The perfumer claims that real oud is used in this fragrance as well as in Agar Royal, and I can definitely smell it more distinctively in Agar Royal. That being said, this fragrance is far from being entirely natural, and I can still catch a few synthetic notes in the opening. Regarding the smell, its a french-middle eastern blend, smells nice, but is it worth the price tag ? Absolutely not. I got it on an incredible “discount“ at 127 usd, and still, it's way overpriced. There is something about Alberto Morillas fragrances that I unfortunately don't like, and neither this or the Agar Royal seem to make it on my list. Smell: 6/10 Performances: 5/10 Price: 1/10 Sillage: Not tested Projection: 5/10 Overall, I regret buying this, I don't reach for it a lot in my shelf, and there is something about this and Agar Royal that makes me very uncomfortable when wearing them. A complete mess of a fragrance, but still more refined than Agar Royal ( which smells very good upon first spray, but also dries down into a complete mess)

I am not an oud lover, but Nuit des Rois is a very pleasant scent. The oud here is smooth and very refined. The orange and floral notes are very balanced strong enough to provide sweetness and freshness, the cardamom, saffron and honey notes are noticeable but soft. It is very well mixed, just feels clean, beautiful and elegant. It smells fancy. I think it is perfectly unisex and beautiful on anyone. Full bottle worthy.
