Ed Hardy Hearts & Daggers for Her

I tested this at the store for the first time yesterday, and although my nose might have been a little effected by the other smells I was sampling (lol!) :) What I could predominately smell were fruits... i.e. watermelon. (I asked another shopper in case I wasn't smelling it right, and she also thought it smelled like watermelon.) Very summer! :) Juicy and light. So I think it's really interesting that it's not a note listed here? Perhaps some of the fruits mixed with apple/ apple blossom makes it smell like watermelon? It reminded me of being young and getting watermelon candy at summer camp or some fruity Victoria's Secret bath and body spray. Mmm so delicious! It is almost sweet and nostalgic enough to remind you of candy! But interestingly enough not cloying at all. I can't wait to go back and test it again! :D I think I might have to get one of the tiny bottles of it. I am excited that it is one of the few fragrances that you can buy a mini of! 15 bucks! You can't go wrong with that! ;) Love it! :) <3 <3 <3 It seems like a very feminine and flirty scent. Definitely perfect for spring and summer. I do sense some florals but they are very soft and not overpowering. The sweet is light and a pleasure not cloying or icky at all. And the base notes are also almost not noticeable but enough to balance it out nicely. This is a beautiful scent! It is hard to buy a fruity one that isn't too strong in any direction (cloying, too tart, too sweet, too floral, too something..) This is a pleasure. Very young and happy. But also not 12. Girly-girls, you will love this one! :D

This is harder to find now so it must be discontinued. If you want to know what it's like, just buy SJP NYC (edp), as it's EXACTLY the same, yet stronger. Out of all the fragrance comparisons I've made, Hearts & Daggers and NYC are the most similar the whole way through. Only difference besides the stronger opening in NYC is that H&D has a subtle creamier drydown (making it like a delicious strawberry and cream scent) but by that point it's already a skin scent, so unless you want to keep sniffing your skin, you won't actually get it at all. This was well worth a try, but I am SO glad I have NYC and that it's also one of the most affordable fragrances out there. If you don't know NYC, this Hearts and Daggers is basically an apple-fresh fruity scent, and even a bit shampoo-like. It becomes very soft and slightly creamy after an hour. Nothing but a soft sweet skin scent after about 3 hours, barely detectable. Inoffensive and would be work safe if not oversprayed. Originally, I wanted to see how this compared to the women's Ed Hardy EDP, and they're not similar at all. Even the mango note doesn't make them similar. I'd say overall, H&D is my favourite of the two. EH gets muskier and more smoky from the tonka bean, but has more lasting power because of this (on clothes, that is). But still, both are good for fruity lovers who like a bit of fresh citrus too. Neither are overly sweet.

Great summer sunshine type, sweet, fresh fruity but not syrupy. A very happy, ubiquitous scent which is fabulous for running errands! Ok so I realized that this is maybe the most common fragrance scent I smell on people in my city. Why? I don’t know. On first sniff it wasn’t boring at all, just very familiar. Like when someone walks in and you think “where do I know you from?” But I like it. Bright, sweet, and juicy. I find that this lasts all day when it rubs off on your clothes. I know I won’t be wearing something that offends, but I’ll enjoy it too. It’s just a casual crowd pleaser. It’s not a beast. Lasts through a work shift, then fades off so I can wear something else when I have me time. I love the fuscia bottle. It’s fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. PS: there is a great shampoo and conditioner that smells very similar called Kenra “sugar beach” sweet soft texture. It is an amaaaazzzzing combo with this fragrance for a layered effect!

This was/is my signature scent! It's fruity but not at all like Escada fruity. This perfume is a tropical fruity floral done right! Escada sometimes has a sourness to their fruit notes and can sometimes smell too sweet or like a fruit bowl. THIS is the perfect blend of fruit, musk and sweetness. It's young, fun and sexy. Age range 16-30. I smell grenadine (Shirley temple cherry) along with the other notes, even though it's not listed. Its just perfect to me and I'm surprised it's Ed Hardy! I don't like any other of his scents except this one. This perfume works really well with my chemistry I guess. My ex boyfriend was obsessed with this scent and said he'll never forget it. I love it and have bought 3 bottles of it so far which is a first for me. As much as I love it I am growing up so I must give it up as my signature scent,which makes me sad, but I will always wear it from time to time and keep a bottle stashed away.

LOVE this one!!! Soooo fruity and yummy! This so far is my favorite from the Ed Hardy line, to be honest it smells like a shampoo I love....so basically my wrist smells like yummy shampoo, fruity, a tad floral, a bit of vanilla, just yummy! Wallymart has small bottles of most of the Ed Hardy line (missing Villian, but that's very new) and I've been scooping them up, this one is going to be used much more than the others which I liked at first but then didn't like so much after a few days (plus the husband didn't really like them). They are keepers though because I love tiny bottles and the bottles are very well decorated and cute. This one seems to last a bit longer than the other Ed Hardy perfumes on me. My favorite perfume from Christian Audigier is his debut perfume (his namesake), that is big bottle worthy, but the little bottles of the Ed Hardy perfumes are nice too. :0)

I lucked out and got a free sample of this at Shoppers drug mart, and omg does it ever smell amazing on me. I won't buy perfume until I've tested it on myself and worn it for a few days (because it can smell amazing in a bottle an amazing on someone else, and be the worst thing to exist on your skin) but I will be buying this one asap! I've used my little sample bottle for a few days now and I'm already scared of running out. The mango and apple really mix well together on my skin, and the scent made me want to bite my arm (not really but you get it). Wishing I would have found this sooner! If I remember too I'll update this once I purchase a bottle for myself!

I received a sample of this perfume and couldn't stop smelling my wrists, I HAD to have it and now I actually have 2 huge bottles. I can see the similarities to Sjp Nyc and it kind of smells like Escada's Ocean Lounge...I guess because all 3 share the strawberry note. However, Escada's OL has a fizzy strawberry champagne smell and Sjp Nyc has a stronger strawberry note, Ed hardy has strawberry and some more fruits and is sugary sweeeeet and very fruity, like candy. I absolutely love it! I wish it lasted longer and was stronger which is why I have 2 bottles so I can spray myself as much as I want. Definitely a new favorite in my stash!

hint: one of the things my ex comes back to me and tells me is "you smelled amazing your scent drove me nuts"(in a good way) and that was 3 yrs ago and he still remembers it! The queen of sweet and fresh fruity floral perfumes. My hot date kind of perfume - I don't wear it casually as I wanna link it only to sexy or exciting memories lol. Not a huge fan of the rest of Ed Hardy's perfumes but this one is such good quality. Lasts hours on me and smells like a garden in paradise would smell like. Youthful, feminine, intoxicating.

I blind bought this fragrance because I’ve been loving Y2K scents lately so nostalgic! Ok so this reminds me of a Victoria’s Secret body spray. Fruity, apple, mango, remind me of 2008/2009 where everyone was messy. But like in the best way possible. I do like it but I feel like I like the original one more, maybe. First time testing so will come back to update but for the price for summer it’s cute! I do like it it’s nice easy grab for summer not too overpowering. Good for out of the shower or the beach

I found this fragrance at my local Ross for $19.99. A great value for a nostalgic brand! This is totally juicy at first, then comes the hints of floral after it settles. In my opinion it is a very soft sweet feminine fragrance. I live in the south so it’s tropical year round, so this easily became my everyday fragrance. The bottle is slender & cool like a flask so it fits in my purses easily. I constantly re-spritz myself throughout the day just because so I’m not sure of the staying power. I love it!

I started wearing this perfume about two years ago, and I love it. The combination of woodsy notes and fruity notes make this a real winner. It is light and not overpowering at all. On my skin it picks the deeper woodsy notes, with a slight hint of orange and mango. I have gotten lots of compliments while wearing it. Defiantly one of my go to scents. The only flaw I find with this perfume is that it doesn't last all day, so I have respray it every 6 to 8 hours, but otherwise a great perfume.

I ADORE this perfume!!!! It is so incredibly fruity and fun!! If you love fruity scents, then this perfume is a must! It is pleasant and smells like an Escada scent, but like one which is extra delightful! Like Escada's Ibiza Hippie or something. The florals are quite subdued which is perfect for someone like me, who finds floral scents nasty. Beautiful, just a beautiful pleasant scent overall. I can't say enough good things about it. What a pleasure to wear!

This was the first perfume that i bought outside of Bath and Body Works when I was in my twenties. I bought it soley because of the artwork on the bottle. I fell in love with it and went through several bottles of it during highschool. Fast forward 15 years, im almost 40 and bought a bottle of this again along with the original Ed Hardy EDP. The nostalgia is strong! I still love the fruity, fresh, floral scent. I will never be to old for this idc.

one of my first perfumes, still one of my favourites! this one is so, SO good! it's a nice balance of fruity and tropical notes! you can really smell the apple and mango the first few minutes of putting it on, and the notes fade from top to base nicely! this one isn't overwhelming to wear either (unless you spray obviously too much!), but not too light that you can barely smell it! highly recommend this fragrance to tropical lovers :P

Update this is yummy but on me it only lasts a few hours but I do like it! It’s fresh and fruity like I said good for out of the shower or when you’re at home. Running errands, gym, etc. It’s not overpowering which I appreciate. Some fragrances can be too much literally! To me this is the perfect balance fruity, fresh, floral and most importantly let’s not forget Y2K Classy ok lol. It’s a happy fragrance.

These notes usually aren’t my favorite..And I have tried a lot of the similar scents to see how my skin responded to them with disappointment. This one has been ONE exception. The dry down is absolutely amazing and long lasting..People stop me and ask. Pleasant surprise. Inexpensive gem.

I absolutely love this scent! It's different, fun, fruity-amazing! The problem is 30 minutes after I put it on you can't smell it anymore! Maybe it's my body chemistry. Very disappointed when it's one of the best scents I've ever smelled! ;-(

A classic, nostalgic fragrance from the 2000s. It was a signature scent at the time and I can still smell it on some older, un touched clothes. I've kept the bottle since it was so iconic The amber and apple blossom notes really come through

My signature scent - other reviews slate it for being 'too young' or 'too fruity' but I find this is just sweet enough without being overdone. It's a pleasant surprise for someone once they get close to you, it doesn't overpower your space.

My mom passed me down her bottle since I was just a wee kiddo when this released. It's smell remained fantastic however, very intense but not in an overwhelming sense. I've since run out of it however, used it all up in highschool!
