Ed Hardy Love Is...

Smelled this in the store and had to have it. If you don't like fruity, sweet/sour, or light fragrances, this is not for you. However, if you do, this is a neat one to add to your collection. I smell a slightly peachy-strawberry combination in the fruity note. The floral aspect is soft and understated...I can't quite detect what the specific flower scent is. This is all well-rounded by the musky aspect. I got this on discount and have worn it nearly every day. It is perfect for work and inoffensive. I do have to spray at least 2 spritzes on my wrist for it to have some lasting power. There is an oily aspect to this when it hits your skin. I'm assuming that oil is used for the dual color effect. Do shake it up before you use it as it combines the separated ingredients. I really like this fragrance.

A website I buy fragrance from sells this three piece gift set for $12.99 , it’s cheaper than there shipping cost for cryin out loud! I won’t complain because I absolutely LOVE this stuff! It’s been out for 12 years now and I’ve been in love ever since! It smells kind of like raspberries is what I think of it as. It’s so tropical, fruity, sweet, girly, summer time vibes. This is one of my favourites for sure! The liquid itself is different it’s almost like a body oil that you would use for moisturizing, not sure if that’s what it’s like that for ....tou also have to shake it first, it is literally like oil and water. Smells so good though! I love this perfume! If you’re into fruity sweets than buy this....

Just received this today and it is very very good! Its very bright, very fruity, tart and musky. I smell a whole orchard of fresh fruit but what stands out to me is nectarine, very juicy nectarine and strawberries. When I first saw the liquid I was afraid it was going to be very oily and when first sprayed on skin there is a slight sheen but it is quickly absorbed and your left with only this gorgeous scent. happy to run across this great find, I have a TON of fruity scents but this stands out among them for sure!! BTW to me this smells nothing like Ralph by Ralph Lauren .

I just got this today and It's amazing! The bottle is cute, but the scent is truly gorgeous! It's sweet, like his other scents, but this kind of reminds me of the Beauty Rush fragrances from Victoria Secret only much longer lasting. It also kinda reminds me of an Avon scent that you shake before spraying and I think it's called Scentini Plum Twist. This is slightly similar, but it has longer lasting power. I am happy that I finally got this!

Smells amazing and the best part is it smells like nothing I own (and I own a lot of perfume). I actually wore it to the chiropractor and one of the girls kept asking me what I was wearing because she said it smelled so good.

I just got this today 02/28/13 from Macys online. It doesn't smell anything like Justin Bieber's The Key. Love is... is a typical Ed Hardy scent fruity floarl. You can smell all the notes listed. It's like a flowery fruit punch. You have to shake the perfume before you spray, it's very interesting never had that before. I feel like this is a mix between Skull & Roses, and Villian. I'm a big Ed Hardy fan not just of perfumes I love the style he puts out. I love his shoe designs. I think Love is.. is a Summer scent meant for daytime. The liquid of the perfume is so cool something like a lava lamp. I'm really glad I took the gamble and bought this online for $82 after tax, I do think it's a little pricy, but this one you are going to want, and not just for the smell just because of how cool it is. Overall I give this perfume a 8/10.

I'm not sure why the notes aren't listed, because there are concrete notes for this perfume.. Apple soufflé, Blackberry, Bergamot, Jasmine, Freesia, Raspberry Blossom, Vanilla, Amber and Blackberry Musk As far as my personal "scent pyramid' (in order from most detectable to least detectable): -Apple souffle -Raspberry blossom -Blackberry musk -Jasmine -Freesia -Blackberry -Bergamot -Vanilla -Amber An easy and fun fragrance that will be crowd pleasing and a great casual choice for any season, really. It smells like a body spray on steroids. Gummy candy and fancy shampoo. Not bad. Unique? Yea, sure. I have never smelled anything that comparable. The shake and spray thing is gimmicky, but I like it. It is fun to watch the liquids separate.

Fruity, sweet, fizzy, smells great. However, the lasting power is absolutely terrible. It faded quickly after about 10 minutes and was just a distant memory by the time half an hour came around. While it does smell good, it's not unique. Also, for those of you who don't know.. this perfume is oil based. Remember the Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Double Body Mists? The ones where you had to shake up before you used them? That's what this perfume is... when i sprayed it on my skin it was so oily and shiny.. it had looked as if i had rubbed Vaseline on my skin. Definitely do not recommend, although i LOVE the idea for this.. it's very poor quality and not worth the money.

Just found this at Marshalls. $10 for a 3.4oz bottle with hair perfume, score. It opens with strong fruit mostly strawberry, blackberry, apple. It is very sweet and lovely it dries down to mostly blackberry (which I love), vanilla and I get a woody note. Really sweet and easy to wear. I like it a lot. Doesnt last long though.

Does anyone remember Hawaiian Punch drink? This has all the fruits! I really enjoy its fruity power. Wish it lasted longer but it does pretty well. Two hours after application it was a soft skin scent of fruity shampoo. This one is fun! 🍒🍐🍊

So addicting! Not exactly unique, but just plain delicious. Smells like strawberry/fruity shampoo on steroids with an ungoldly amount of sugar. Long-lasting. Won't kill your wallet. Very yummy.

This is amazing i own a couple of bottles, but sadly think is discontinued by now and very hard to find. And if u find some they are super pricey. To me smell like a fruity soda drink/ beverage of some sort, but on steroids. lol. Is like tart candy. Like a fruit punch very juicy. Like a gum when u bite it has juice inside, and that juice is very tutti fruity sugary like. is addicting and mouth watering. Funny stories. My mom & sister find out about this perfume through me. They fell in love with it and they wanted to stole it from me. lol. On skin it last enough time at least to me, BUT on clothes it stays like crazy. The other day i went to my dentist appoitment and i was in my chair ready for them to start cleaning my teeth. And i hear 2 workers behind me talking. And 1 was asking the other (where is that smell coming from, is it u?). And the other said (i dont know, i do smell it but no is not me). so the girl went and ask me: (jonathan can i ask, is that u who smell like that?). I knew it was me, cause they were kind of closer but a bit far away and i just applied it before i enter the building. And i said: (yes u got it right, it is me). And she went: (oh god u do smell good, that really smell great wow). It seems that lot of people like this fragrance. I dont get or understand why these brands decide to discontinued them?. Like this a gem what are u guys doing? give the people what they like/ want.

OMG- thanks to rachelanne87, I found Ed Hardy Femme! I thought Love Is was the new scent of the year... but what is this Femme? Exactly the same bottle as the original Ed Hardy for Her, except it says Femme and the bottle is purple.... Well, I had to buy it. It is a NEW scent from Ed Hardy and very different!! While it's still a fruity-floral, it's a dark fruit with darker florals. And some spice. It's actually kinda masculine for a "femme" scent, but I do like it very much! Average sillage/longevity, but I'm known to 6-8 spray myself. So, if you love your fruit-bombs and sweet gourmands, you may still want to sniff this. I blind bought it because I live in the middle of nowhere (really, the nearest perfume counter in a dept store is 2 hours away and I doubt they carry Hardy) and I'm not upset about that. I also paid about $35 from an online perfume store which isn't bad. It's different in a good way. I wish I could comment on the notes, etc... but we have no info on this perfume as of yet. Found this online: Introduced by Christian Audigier in 2008, Ed Hardy Femme presents a fresh citrus, floral aroma. This fruity fragrance features a blend of tropical mango, wild strawberries, red grapefruit, black freesia, amber, and rose accords. 2008???? It lasts longer (much longer) than EH for her. You can bet that. ;)

I have all the Ed Hardy womens scents, I'm a sucker for sweet, fruity, gourmand. This perfume, aside from the cute gimmick of the "shake" bottle, is average. Similar to the Ed Hardy original (Love Kills Slowly bottle), Born Wild, and Hearts and Daggers-- just plain ole juicy sweet fruit with lacking longevity and potency. I smell musky juicy strawberry, although I don't think strawberries are in the notes. (Amazon notes: Fragrance notes of apple, blackberry, bergamot, jasmine, freesia, raspberry blossom, vanilla and blackberry musk.) Amazon also has the best price, $33 with free shipping for me with a Prime Membership. My fave Hardys are Love & Luck (long lasting creamy spicy citrus), Villan (yummy creamy watermelon and green), and Skulls and Roses (fruity caramel). Those 3 have the best longevity/sillage. Overall, I do like this perfume, its basic but enjoyable and again, the gimmick is adorable. It is wearable, just lacks pizazz and oomph. Initial blast is the juiciest, then tones down to just a fruit musk. Actually, I've been getting whiffs of this all day! (Sprayed at 7-8am and it's 5 pm now)

I love love love "love is..." its a very fresh fruity and fun. it almost feel like it may have some moisturizing aspect to it because it feels a bit oily on the skin...not in a bad way! I have wanted to buy this since it came out but wanted to hold off just a little whole and hope it wouls go on sale...so glad I waited because today I got a gift set of this with the 50 ml edt a shower gel and a hair mist which I have never seen any perfume have a hair mist....I paid 63.75 canadian for rhe gift set and to buy JUST the perfume is 62.00 so I got the other items free basically! I would like to say though...for anyone who LOVES this scent but perhaps doesnt want to spend or can not afford to spend that much....there is a perfume that Aeropostale (clothing store) put out and its in a little purple bottle I THINK its called Peace LOve ....and something else...anyways it smells the EXACT same...exact exact same!!!

Has anybody tried the new Ed Hardy Femme perfume yet? Just got a hold of a bottle of it & was very surprised that it's not the typical Ed Hardy fruity scent at all. I don't see it listed anywhere on here? I also wanted to add that I still have been using the Ed Hardy Love Is... perfume (not as much, as I was once I first got it) & the scent for me has moderate lasting power (not bad, but not great). I have also found that with this scent, you can get really sick of it, if you wear it to much. I have been trying to wear it not so often, so that I don't totally end up hating this scent. I wore it nonstop since I got it, and now am starting to get kinda sick of the scent...still enjoy it but will only use it a couple times a month.

I been wanting this perfume, and finally purchased it a couple weeks ago. It's a typical sweet Ed Hardy fragrance...but it's my favorite one out of all of them! The bottle is also really cool because, you have to shake it and mix it together before spraying. I have been enjoying this scent and I find that the scent actually last quite a while. It's a fruity scent, so if you enjoy those type of scents and liked any of the other Ed Hardy fragrances in the past, then I recommend giving this one a try!

Ok I went back to Aeropostale to find out exactly the name of their perfume, it's live love dream, and it is exactly the same as this, I mean EXACT. And for 22.50 for a 50 ml bottle, pretty damn good deal if your stuck like I am paying retail/drug store prices for perfume, LOve is is 62 dollars for the 100mls, so it is a good deal to buy live love dream

Thank you @lizzyshreds for the great review. It sounds like an awesome bottle and a scent that I might like. The "lava lamp" type of perfume liquid, sound very interesting & have never seen that done before. I will have to give it a try.

I tried it today and it is a typical Ed Hardy, very juicy sweet. very young too...it isn't very complex. But you know what to expect from the brand...young and sweet...nice in its category.
